Really touching movie. If you are planning to watch this expecting it to be a cute animation. You will be shocked, definitely not something to watch with kids so....don't lol. I would personally rate this 15 if it was in the cinema as there are some sensitive images.

Anywho back to the movie. It is a great mash up of east meets west. A great cast, with everyone acting superbly. It's a cute movie about a girl and her friend being separated for greed. I won't go in to too much detail or else it spoils it. There were some tears and there were some chuckles. Definitely a rewatch just to see the girls relationship with Okja. Don't think there was a soundtrack and the movie seems shorter than it is, it is over 2hrs long. It is a Netflix production, which seems to be more of a thing nowadays. Great production with clear and lovely graphics.

Nice to see Choi woo shik, brought some comedy. Oooo and watch till the credits finish rolling for some more of him lol

The trailer and the synopsis defo do not do this movie justice. Let me say that first. DO NOT count on them for an accurate description.

You expect comedy because of JJS, but i should have known because Do Kyung Soo isn't that type of actor(if you've seen other shows hes starred in you'll understand). The movie makes you smile and doesn't waste time on trivial filler bits, even Park Shin Hye i would count as a supporting character rather than a main as it wasn't about her. I don't want to say too much because its one of those movies you have to watch with no expectation so that you can get the full impact of emotions.

Music wise, there wasn't much but the closing song was sung by both male leads, which is cute.

I would definitely re-watch as it didn't even seem that long. Really enjoyed it

I really enjoyed this! I know I'm a bit late, i decided to watch this after reading the article on here
http://mydramalist.com/article/2016/09/03/4-bite-sized-back-to-school-k-dramas
(4 Bite-Sized Back To School K-Dramas)
and thought i'd make my way down the list. It is a really funny and a veeeerrrrrry random show especially if you've seen some of these guys act in other dramas e.g Lee Tae Hwa, who played a stoic bodyguard in 'Please, come back mister' or Seo Kang Joon in 'Cheese in the trap' it seems so out of character but you can tell they enjoyed acting this out.
There's a point when I thought 'oh sh*t this is getting deep' then....nope....the weird doves appeared and made me laugh! I finished this drama in 2 sittings as I had work and during the day I couldn't help but find myself thinking 'cant wait to go back and finish that drama'.

I definitely recommend if you are looking for comedy and randomness....especially if you are watching this because you've seen these guys in other dramas so you want to just watch another one......it will surprise you.

NOW ONTO THE SECOND SEASON WOOP!!!

A heart wrenching, sad almost on the verge of depressing. then sweet drama. Depending on what you like you will either really feel for Oh Soo or Oh Young. The side characters get a slight storyline that does not detract from the main story often giving some light during heavy sessions. the acting is amazing Song Hye Kyo's portrayal of a blind woman is done very well.

Story
Very cliche story of a blind heiress and the person trying to con her falling in love with her in the end. But its not really the story that keeps you its the production of the whole thing. The scenery and camera angles that focus a lot on the characters faces, even the tone of colour used for the drama - not too bright and not dark either, very modern, keep you mesmerized. The production team did very well and this makes the cliche story pop. The stories of the side characters also help to flesh out this drama but there are times where you are left wanting as the viewer is left with so many unanswered questions.
The last couple of episodes seem like they were written by a completely different person and it was almost like they thought 'oh sh*t we have to round this up quickly' which made me struggle to finish the drama and the last episode unfortunately makes no sense.

Acting/Cast
The actors did very well, it felt authentic and made you feel for them (especially when Oh Soo breaks down I almost cried with him). The change in how the viewer feels about the characters as you go through the drama is also realistic. Oh Soo, i felt very sorry for and at times I wanted to shake Oh Young so she could understand where he was coming from. His struggle to keep up pretenses whilst fighting his growing feelings was sad to watch and on top of that at every turn he seemed to hear bad news after bad news. Another thing that Jo In Sung did for the female audience is the way he portrays Oh Soo who deeply cares about Oh Young and only has eyes for her.
The other character you begin to fall in love with at the end is Moon Cheol (i shan't say why lol)
Oh Young's character will definitely annoy you at some point with the whole 'woe is me' act but then you have to remember what she has gone through and had to put up with as she grew up secluded from everyone, so at times her character becomes childish in the way she demands for things or pushes the boundaries. Another character that will annoy you is Hee Sun, who in my opinion is kind of irrelevant, her emotions are unnecessary and she becomes an enemy of progress at points. The drama would have carried on just fine without her character really.

Music
There are some songs that really help in situations and the way the coordinator arranged the songs worked well for example not playing the chorus at one point knowing it would be emotional overkill.

Overall
I enjoyed the drama, I loved the scenery and how well it was filmed, like most dramas I've watched recently the rush at the end will annoy a newbie into the drama world lol and the constant rollercoaster of emotions might be too much for some to handle but it is an enjoyable watch. Definitely give it a try

I loved this in the beginning, the first episode introductions got me hooked. The story developed then probably around episode 8/9 I pieced it together and knew what was going to happen which probably spoilt it for me. There are a lot of misunderstandings stemming from a lack of communication which annoyed me, there were times where I was almost screaming at my screen "just tell them!!" Lol. Loved the characters apart from squad leader, his whole bad guy, low voice, long ass speeches irked me greatly and the female officer was a bit annoying and easily mislead.
What was great about the drama is that it was a great idea and you really felt for the criminals. I really enjoyed it, the action was good and they didn't waste time getting into it. I would love a season 2 just to see the all together again!

Didn't think I would enjoy this drama based on the synopsis, but I really did. It ends way different than expected.

One thing I like about this drama other than the amazing soundtrack and camera work is the play on what happens when you don't explain yourself/the situation properly to those around you.

Let me explain....so both Pretty OHY and Han Tae Jin had something happen that stopped them from marrying their other halves and in my opinion it didn't need to go this far lol. Ok Tae Jin had something major happen to him but instead of explaining to Just OHY and truly thinking about her and giving her the choice to decide whether she wanted to stay or go he left her using a cheap ass line like 'I don't like the way you eat'. POHY's reason for leaving was quite deep but again instead of getting mad at Do Kyung there and then she decides to run off. But what I like about this is that they both come back trying to make amends on the ethos that they were 'doing the right thing at the time' and their exes are having none of it.
The cliché would be that they would explain themselves and fall back in love again but they didn't do it this time and I'm so friggin happy.
The story was quite realistic apart from the villain soon-to-be father in law, but other than that it was quite realistic you definitely felt for Tae Jin and POHY even though at points you didn't really want to.

I love the side characters, the guys that work for Do Kyung and JOHY's clique at work who support her and back her up. I also love Soo Kyung and her story, she brings comedy to an otherwise dreary scene but I love how they have expanded on her character and made her storyline deeper and more realistic, I was definitely shocked by her storyline but it made me love her character even more. JOHY's parents are absolutely delightful, I love the stark comparison between her parents and POHY and Do Kyung's family situation.

I don't really see the need for the 2 episode extension because it could have all been completed in the 16 as one full episode I think 15/16 can't remember was dedicated to gushy showy affection between the two mains which kind of made me uncomfortable (probably cos I'm not that kind of girl lol) but I guess it gave the chance for the side characters to round off their story. I did really enjoy the last episode made you smile whilst watching it.

The soundtrack I really enjoyed not too many songs (its on Spotify) but they all worked in their various situations.
Ooooo another thing I loved is the opening, it was really smartly done and fun to watch I never skipped it lol, which I usually do.

Do you know what....this is actually quite an alright drama. Lol. It makes you chuckle because it highlights those cliche moments in dramas that every seasoned viewer knows and makes you smile. Probably not ideal for die hard serious drama watchers or people that want an in-depth storyline and great acting....oh and music....there isn't any lol. Just cliche BGM...but still.....

Story
The story is a good and unique idea, stemming from the fact that KDrama's are in a league of their own when it comes to cliche's and overplayed scenarios. It is an interesting story that isn't meant to be taken too seriously so don't expect to be sat at the edge of your seat thinking 'oh sh*t whats going to happen next' because if you know drama....you're supposed to know what is going to happen, which I find is the fun part of it, as the writers aren't trying to trick you with crazy spins/ major cliff hangers. Another great thing is that episodes aren't long, which is refreshing.

Acting/Cast
Well....well.....well lol, the acting wasn't great but meh, I kind of don't think it was supposed to be or we would have seen some big name actors playing this....oooo could you imagine Jo In Sung playing Joon Park (drool). It is a parody so obviously the actors in dramaworld would be expected to be worse than usual to probably highlight the fact that they are acting.

Music
I didn't expect an amazing OST (if you've read some of my reviews you know how I love a good OST) because this isn't that kind of drama. What I did like was the comedic use of the music that us viewers know to well. The BGM when something bad is about to happen, or when you have a blast of music at the end of the episode lol, Claire noticing it made me laugh, because I always have to turn my TV down when it gets to the end of an episode lol.

Overall
I think everyone should watch this just because it is funny, light-hearted and shouldn't be taken too seriously. It is mean't I think to highlight the fact that everybody watches KDramas and they are popular all over the world. If you've never watched a KDrama you may find this drama stupid so maybe watch a few first then come back to this so you understand the comedic effect. But yeah, definitely enjoyed it. Won't rewatch it...nope definitely not something you'd rewatch...doesn't make sense to, but I'm glad I watched it.

It has been such a long time since I have followed a 'currently airing' drama to completion and I am so happy I did. The best drama I have watched in a very long time. Perfect mix of comedy, suspense, romance, bromance lol and realism.
All the characters had depth and gave you all the feels, even the villains made you despise them with their superb acting (Chief Yeom - urgh!). The OST is amazing (ITS ON SPOTIFY), I as a non-Korean speaker still sang /rapped my heart out along to any songs that played.
It is great to see all these amazing dramas being taken up by Netflix.

Anywho onto the review

Story
It is about a baseball player who ends up in prison, annoyingly, because he protected his little sister from assault. Whilst in prison he meets people, goes through various trials, and comes out on the other side. The people he meets all change around him to become better people and he ends up influencing the whole penitentiary because of the simple  and humble way he behaves. I don't want to give too much away.
The suspense is amazing and I am one of those people that hate to watch the preview of the next episode only to be annoyed that its not what I thought, but it really works here because everytime the preview shows something bad is going to happen to KJH there is always a way to turn it around. There is no dragging and there is also no unnecessary scenes as everything makes sense in the end. The drama has been directed very well and the story is amazing. I don't believe I am giving it justice so just watch it. You wont be disappointed

Acting
Amazing! Every single actor/actress plays their parts well. You laugh when the characters laugh or mess up and you shed a tear when the characters are going through hard times. KJH's character is so refreshing, although he is dopey he is still very smart and at times as the viewer you forget this but he remedies a situation and you then remember that he is actually really smart. Min Chul was another character I loved as he was so cute and his facial expressions portrayed everything he felt. His storyline was such a joy to watch. The bond between the guys with people leaving and people joining was amazing to watch. KJH and LJH's friendship was so endearing = true bromance. LJH was there for him, even following him to the next prison just to make sure he was okay. Loved those two together. The best comedic scene between them is when LJH is trying to help KJH overcome his struggle to throw straight, I cried laughing at those scenes.

Music
AMAZING lol, like I have said earlier the playlist is on spotify. Every song is amazing and the way they were played throughout the drama made sense. The music director matched the music to each scene really well and you never felt like a song was too loud or played too often it just worked.

Rewatch Value
Definitely a 10 because I want everyone to watch it and I want to be there when they do. Such a good drama, everytime someone comes to visit I make sure to get them to watch it lol.

Anywho in a summary = Great end to 2017 and Great beginning to 2018. Brought me back into KDrama's after a long hiatus.

It is a definite watch. Really enjoyed this drama. Right mix of comedy, sadness and love to stir the viewer.
Watching it, you may think 'how can they possibly stretch this story line over 21 episodes' but as you get to ep 15 etc you begin to get upset about the fact that the drama will end soon.

Story
Good storyline, but you have to stick with it at some points to get the joy at the end, because many times you think you know what will happen and then it doesn't or you are thinking something and a character brings it up making it as realistic as it possibly could be. There is a bit where Jae Kyung's younger self looks exactly like his older self and everyone else looks different which makes you kind of chuckle but its a good storyline which I didn't find cliche.

Acting
Amazing, everybody acted their characters to a Tee! Do Min Joon is an amazing 'cryer' it looks so real and definitely evokes sympathy from the viewer.. Song Yi makes you laugh as well as cry, you hate Jae Kyung but understand how he became that way and the side story characters don't detract from the story but add to it making you fall in love with them. Hul Kyung and Se Mi's relationship is very realistic and I'm glad the writer chose to go the direction they did at the end.

Music
I am a big fan of OSTs and this one didn't do it for me, didn't hate it but it was nothing to go searching for, worked well with the show but was quite repetititve. Lol if you've seen some of my other reviews you know I go searching for OSTs on Spotify, I didn't for this drama.

Overall
You will laugh watching this and be on the edge of your seat at some points then cry at others. Make sure to watch to the end of each episode as the way the producers did the end of each episode was amazing, wish other dramas did that. You get to see hidden bits of each episode so as to understand why stuff happened. The ending of the drama leaves you wanting but I guess that's a good drama for you, leaves you wanting more.

Ooooo you sneaky writers you!
Lol
This movie....is really good! The ending is amazing and I don't feel like it was rushed or not thought through. It seems shorter than it really is (1 hr 51) but that isn't a bad thing because it is quite straight to the point.
Didn't expect to cry but I sure as hell did at the end. The story is about a man suffering from depression that wants to die but can't because a group of ghosts won't let him, so he tries to get rid of them by fulfilling their wishes whilst a budding romance develops. I refuse to divulge too much because I want you to be as suprised as I was.
I hadn't really read any reviews but I just kept seeing that it was highly rated so I thought I'd give it a watch and I am pleased that I did. There is comedy and tragedy but the message of the movie makes sense at the end. 'You are not alone'. All characters (even the love interest's brother) were integral to the movie and played a part. For once I didn't really notice the music and that is saying something cos I love a good soundtrack lol, so that could just mean I was really engrossed in the movie.
This is a definite rewatch because I want to see the faces of people when they get to the end and think 'Oh Wow!' lol.

So yeah....please watch....***warning""" it is not really a comedy so prepare tissues, hankies, pillows lol cos there will be tears. That's all I can give.

Adorably, sweet short drama.

Such a cute drama that was the perfect duration. I think if it was any longer it would become the typical dramas where there are unnecessary misunderstandings, miscommunication and other issues maybe even some cliched second lead drama. The story is cute, baring in mind you don't really know much about the main actors/resses till the last couple of episodes. I liked that as the drama focused on finding new love, which can seem inconceivable when you've gone through a bad break-up. The mild comedy was the policeman/florist/taxi driver/everyone else that seemed to pop up everywhere only to be noticed by Ji Sub.

The acting was cute, I think KJWon shone in this as a care-free woman that took charge, Ji Sub was adorable in this, his awkward acting was cute to watch....but I couldn't get over his hair in this drama....really bothered me lol. Love the fact that Lee Jong Hyuk was in this as the CEO (he was in Masters sun as JS's business rival), also loved their friendship.

Music was nice and chilled which went well with the drama.

This isn't really a drama you'd rewatch just because - 1. it is very short and 2. it isn't that exciting. You sit there watching thinking 'awww, its coming up to the last couple of episodes I wonder who will confess first' knowing what will happen.
So definitely watch it especially if you love the lead characters, you are tired of the heavy drama and suspense filled melodramas and want something light or you're inbetween episodes and need something to fill the time.

Why i dropped this drama...

Because I began to get tired of it. It started off very well Gong shim (GS) was lovely and endearing. You felt for her and really wanted her to succeed. Ahn Dan Tae (ADT) - Nam Gung Min (NGM) was too funny, if you've seen him in other stuff like The Girl Who Sees Smells he plays a villain really well to the point that I was so shocked when I saw him play this role, he brings a goofy, lightness to the comedy that makes you laugh out loud. Joon Soo is too adorable, really fell in love with him and was kind of upset he was the second lead.

Now my problem and the reason why I dropped this drama...bare with me...

It went off track bizarrely....

This is the synopsis 'This drama is about the Love story of two sisters and two men. The talented older sister has everything, including a beautiful appearance, and her younger sister, who is less attractive but still has a warm heart. And two men appear in front of the siblings: a progressively more attractive man, who moved into a humble rental room on the rooftop of their building and another man who is handsome and wealthy from a plutocrat family. The romance-comedy drama depicts an eventful and unpredictable love story by the four people from such a warmhearted point of view.'
So you expect to not see the underhandedness of the older sister (cant even say her name she annoyed me so), the extra storyline of hidden identities and playing guess who became annoying because unfortunately we as the viewer knew what was happening before anybody else which made it seem like we were watching a trainwreck happen.
Characters began to change, GS didn't seem to grow anymore as her character was hidden by the 2 male leads storylines. Watching it on Viki all people seemed to comment about her after awhile, was about that bloody wig.
The bromance between ADT and JS (which was so endearing to watch deteriorated quickly which angered me as it was all a stupid misunderstanding.

It was almost like the writers got changed mid-show.

Music is alright (couldn't find on Spotify though)

Bare in mind I did drop this drama...so I don't know if it had a marvelous ending which brought it back. That's why I rated the rewatch value as 8 as when I have the time and energy to marathon watch it I may enjoy it more......keyword - MAY.

Do you know what. watching this drams is like watching someone run a race and they start off very well, even cracking jokes because they are in the lead then they stumble, you grimace, they get up and you hope they will be fine so you keep watching....then they keep
falling and don't even make it to the finishing line.....yeah....that what this was.

This review may contain spoilers
I try not to rate things a 10 but this drama definitely deserves it.

*MINOR SPOILER ALERT*

The story is amazing and I have never heard of a plot done so well that causes so much emotion in the viewer. You fall in love with all the characters even her douchebag ex boyfriend and friend. Don't get me wrong her storyline of not wanting intimacy with men being down to seeing her mum kiss another man was a bit weak and her attitude will annoy you lol but you get over it as JJY's storyline becomes a bigger deal and the way she stays by him through it all. I love the fact that you as a viewer begin to think as the drama goes on 'hmmm somethings not right about this guy but I can't put my finger on it'.

Acting/Cast....one word AMAZING!!! The tears, the genuine laughs and the smooches are so realistic you cant help but laugh and cry with them. Uncle Jo's character is a ray of sunshine in the otherwise deep storyline which brings some lightness to it. Hae Soo's mother does become a bit of a thorn in the viewers side as she tries to protect Hae Soo in the end but I guess you can understand where she is coming from. The relationship between JJY and Kang Woo is so deep and well done, it was so sad to see KW go in the end.

Music....I play this OST (also can be found on Spotify) all the time. Absolutely love the songs and they all fit with the various scenes. The music director for this show knew what he/she was doing, they knew when to play the right music and when silence was necessary. LOVED this OST.

This is a defo rewatch. 10/10 Watch it, you won't be disappointed at all.

Do you know what? After all the controversy behind this drama I still really enjoyed it. There were parts of the webcomics that didn't flow and made no sense but the way the drama flows it does all add up. The ending was a bit annoying but it was still an enjoyable and understandable storyline. All personalities made sense, I was annoyed the Seol began to like Jung considering what they went through but then again he is a good looking guy that is giving you attention lol.
The music is amazing! The OST can be found on Spotify.
The characters work, all of them kind of look like their webcomic counterparts without looking fake. It draws you in and even though, like I said, there was a lot of commotion about screen time etc. It should still be given a chance especially so you can hear the music lol.

So not 10/10 it's an 8 for me.
