Disappointment

Me and my wife were looking forward for this series and we did like the first two episodes, but to become disappointed with the remainder & struggling to finish it. The story is too far-fetched, too slow-paced and scenes/stories were cut halfway making the entire series to be unrealistic leaving us with a feeling that we missed a lot of important scenes which were simply not there....

I'm quite surprised with the other reviews, but the only good thing of the series were the actors who did their best to save somewhat of this lost cause.

Surprisingly Enjoyable

I have reconsidered this series multiple time whether I should watch it or not as It's not something I usually watch, however I decided to give it a go as I ran out of series I really wanted to see and I've been pleasantly surprised by this series. The series itself was full of action, drama and a great story.

The acting was probably one of the strongest part of the series as all main characters did an outstanding job with Kim Su Hyun as Lady Maeda being the absolute highlight for me. She played her role as a true villain. The story itself had it's few dropdowns at several occassions, but at other times was very unpredictable with an example to the last few shots of the series.

The music however wasn't the highlight of the series and have definitely seen series with better ones.

Regarding the rewatch value, It's something I do not take into account as I never re-watch a series.

Crash Landing on You caught my interest from the day it was announced that tvN ordered it and the channel did promote it quite heavily for one of the series to watch for 2020, which made me even more curious to watch it and couldn't wait for it to start..... However the series did not meet my high expectations and it eventually took me much longer to finish than I, myself had anticipated. It wasn't bad, pretty enjoyable, but it simply did not meet my expectations.

The story had potential and was unique in it's way (which you obviously can read by reading the summary), I found that the producers/directors and writers repeated certain stories over and over again simply to fill in certain episodes to be at least 16 episodes long, while I wished the production went more in depth to their backstories and families surrounding them to really understand the trouble they've been through and understand the stories/anger of certain characters, which they kept vague and were forced to be guessed by us.

Concerning the actors, the cast was enjoyable and Hyun Bin was definitely one of the key holders in this drama, however I was not a fan of Son Ye Jin playing her role as Yoon Se Ri as everything was just too much in any form of emotion that it simply became ''fake''

The music was nothing to comment about it as it was good and enjoyable and I find the ''rewatch'' value always a difficult thing to judge as I never feel like I want to rewatch a series I have already watched, so I just stick to the note I gave for the series myself.

While My Mister was on my to watch list for a very longtime, I decided to finally give it a go and I was happy I chose to do so. I have rarely watched a drama that was as good organized as this one in which two characters, who both hit rock bottom, live a life and due to bad circumstances are in touch with each other which develops into a lovely relationship in which both profit and cheer their life. The only thing I would've liked to see being developed more was the cause of the relationship between jung hee and gyum duk.

IU did a excellent job at her acting as usual, but I was positively surprised by Lee Sun Kyun, who did a thorough job as a sad, yet quiet person. The music was also of a very high level, so I would definitely recommend you all who did not watch it or are doubting to watch it, simply to watch it!

While ''A Man called God'' has been in my list for ages to watch, I never really got to watch it until weeks ago. I just barely finished it by today and I wasn't impressed by it at all and the series felt like a complete waste of my time with a mix of several series, but in a poor performance.

The story of the series was executed poorly and was often very predictable in outcome. Such wealthy CEO's, despite being greedy, would never fall for such easy and clear tricks. It also missed the points completely and could've been much shorter than the 24 episodes it currently was. The acting scored even lower as there was barely any chemistry between any of the actors and neither of them were unable to display their emotions in a realistic way.

The only plus point was that the music of the series itself was quite enjoyable and I'd definitely would never re-watch it again.

While the story itself was a tad basic and did not go fully in details for every character (probably impossible with just six episodes), the series itself exceeded my expectation with the cast performing an absolute terrific job with their roles. The emotions, choice of songs were excellent and little did I know about the history of those two and to see such an ending. Absolutely worth a try to watch and I would highly recommend it.

Also to state that the supporting cast was a very strong one and did an excellent job. I was especially fond of Go Bo Kyul's character.

While I started to watch ''Nokdu Flower'' with almost zero knowledge of Korea's history in regards to this period of time, I was thoroughly surprised and definitely learned some new facts (including reading historical articles after some events happened within the series).

The series itself may be slow at times, even overly dramatic at some points and not as much action as one may wish from a drama or film, but I thoroughly enjoyed the story itself as it's most likely closer to reality and made directors really do their best to produce a proper story.

While the story was efficient and good, they did an even better job with the cast as many of the actors were a perfect fit for their position. I especially found Choi Moo Sung (when not?) and Jo Jung Suk excel at their roles.

As I had a huge list to watch, I did not find any time to watch Squad 38. Eventually I managed to squeeze it in and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with this series. A refreshing mix of crime, suspense with a very very light touch of romance. The story itself was quite unique and caught me off guard at several occasions making you doubt whether this or that was part of their plan. Ma Dong Suk did an excellent job as boring Seowon's City Hall's Tax Chief who eventually ended up with a team of conman in order to retrieve the tax those taxpayers refused to pay by avoiding law and tax cheats. Seo In Gook did an excellent job as main conman, while I was most definitely fan of Lee Sun Bin and her performance. The only downside was that I am not so fan of it's OST, but that's just a minor detail.

Signal has always been a series which caused me doubts whether I really like it or not as the summaries I have read about this series did not really catch my eye, so I am glad that I gave it the benefit of the doubt (thanks to you voters!) and I ABSOLUTELY love it! It is pretty safe to say that this series is among my favourites right now.

The story was well-created and told in a way that it would keep your interests throughout the show, in which they mislead you with different plot twists and side stories, which eventually were connected to the main story itself.  By dealing with several crime/rape cases. the producers and directors approached each crime in a different way. For example in one crime, you'll know the culprit immediately, while in others you did not. They did even hire the perfect actors/actresses for specific roles as all three of them exceeded my expectations with their performance, especially Lee Je Hoon's role as Park Hae Young impressed me.

So I definitely recommend you all to watch it if you haven't watched it as of yet. It is totally worth it.

As I am very fond of Historical dramas, I thought I may give Hwarang a shot. Even though it was not that bad, the series did not meet my expectations, while having so much potential. The series had some decent side stories, which were pleasant to watch. However failed to meet any expectation of mine with their main story, which was very lacking, basic and weak. No clue why this series actually got twenty episodes as I am sure it would have fitted in just sixteen episodes. The actors were not doing a bad job and must say that they were up to standards, however I don't think Go Ah Ro (I like her as an actress though) should be used for a character like this.

Time between Dog and Wolf may have been one of the most thrilling Korean series I have watched so far. A great story of a son wanting his revenge for the death of his parents, but got caught up in several issues making it harder for him to actually carry on with his plans. It may not have been the most unique story out there, but the producers managed to write it in such a way that it was very thrilling, yet dramatic to a level that it became unique itself. It even had a few surprises in store, which I did not see coming at all. On top of that, I especially enjoyed the couple Ji Woo (Nam Sang Mi) and Soo Hyun (Lee Joon Gi), which did act up to their standards with great supporting actors to back them up and loved the never endless story between both of them. Considering the Music, I would say that it was nicely written.

Goblin was massively hyped on multiple platforms across the internet, but failed to meet my high expectations.  It was a good series, no doubt, but somehow I just expected more out of it.

Even though the story could have been improved at the beginning a lot as I was very close about giving up on Goblin, I am happy I managed to get through the first few episodes as this series improved a lot when it was nearing the end. Acting of the cast was up to standards, however I found the age difference between Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) bothersome and somehow found the secondary love couple more interesting; Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook) and Sunny (Yoo In Na). Goblin's Music was top notch. Enjoyed it very much with these beautiful songs out there.

Now you can disregard my rewatch value ranking as I am absolutely not fan of rewatching series, cause the story is spoiled once you know most of it already.

Yet to this day I have no clue what moved me to actually watch this series as it is totally not my genre, however after finishing it I thought it was quite a cute series. Acting was quite good, however the story was fair. Not too bad, not unique either and so now and then it was very cliché at certain parts, while there was a small twist at the end that threw me off, even though I knew what was going to happen to all these girls.

The good thing is that the producers decided to tell the stories of all girls and not only of the three major ones, which made it more interesting as other series similar to this have the tendency to just focus on the major characters within a series.

Even though people either enjoyed or hated this series, I thought it was a decent series. Missing Nine wasn't the best nor the worst to watch and just to watch in your spare time to spend some time.

The story was a bit blunt. I especially liked the first part in which most of the footage took place on that deserted island, however back in mainland Korea, they stretched it too much in my opinion to finish that total of 16 episodes. However the acting of the actors was quite good to outstanding with some nice OST attached to it.

And what happened to Park Chan Yul as Lee Yul? It felt like he was completely forgotten until that last reference in episode 16, which was a bit disappointing to me.

I regret to spend my time watching Captain of Destiny. I know tv productions might not have big budgets in Hong Kong, but these graphics were just awful. They could've have done a much better job on it. The story telling is quite poor and chaotic and to me is not interesting at all with very basic acting...... would definitely not recommend anyone to watch it.
