In both, the female leads end up living with the male leads for financial reasons, but end up falling in love. In both, this is partially due to the female lead's relative selling half or all of the property, without telling her.

Both about spoiled family that expect to inherit the family fortune that was built on food/restaurant business. In both, the elder brings in a hardworking outsider... Plus, you can not help but think of this drama, since the titles are so similar. Shining Inheritance is also called Brilliant Legacy. I just started watching Brilliant Heritage, but can highly recommend Shining Inheritance.

It has a similar mix of genre types. Both have Comedy, Romance, and Mystery. Also both have a suspicious lead character. Let's Eat's has a more comedic vibe/I Wanna Hear Your Song has a more melo feel.

Magic Martial Arts schools in both. Loner types start out with few friends but start showing their talents, getting some respect.

"Game Over" is a line used by both leading men.
In Pride there is a contract relationship. In Personal Taste it is cohabitation. In both while spending time together, the leads slowly grow an affection for each other. A lead believes becoming a couple/a "real" couple would be impossible due to circumstances (already taken/wrong sexual preference). An absent/neglectful parent. The male lead's work plays a big part in both dramas.
Differences: Pride is not a comedy.

These both are related to RPG video games.
Both include Romance and a Fantasy theme. Both include include a loyal friends theme/ group of companions that work together toward a goal.
Chinese Paladin 5 is a story based on the video game. CP5 is Fantasy with romance.
Love O2O is a story about a couple that meets because of an RPG video game. - I only recommend this one because there is a good bit of in game conversations and action mixed in with the real life scenes. LO2O is Romance with a hint of Fantasy.

For those that can not get enough Contract Romance.
In both dramas the couples end up living together due to circumstances. In both dramas, the couples sign a contract and enter into a fake relationship. Both dramas are done well and are in my top 20 all time favorites.
The personalities of the characters is different
Because this is my first life is a little more slow paced and thoughtful. Full House has more comedy. This Thai remake of the original Korean drama Full House is 10yrs. newer and has great Chemistry between the leads! Very worth the watch, even if you do not usually watch Thai dramas.

In both dramas there is an adorable leading lady and an equally adorable mother of the leading man. The mother goes to great lengths to match make for this couple..
Differences:
Itazura na Kiss' leading man is the typical cliche smart and handsome Jerk. He does NOT want to admit that he likes the girl, even to himself. The leading lady is adorable and sweet. She is not very talented but determined to better herself.
My Mr. Mermaid's leading man is dedicated to his sport but kind and sweet. He seems quite smitten with the leading lady, right away. The leading lady is dedicated to becoming a good reporter, but equally dedicated to being an honest upright person and good friend.

Itazura na Kiss is based on a manga and there were versions made in Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Thailand, and China... I loved them all. However, if you do not like going through all of those episodes, that make it seem like the girl is chasing a guy who is just not that into her, try Kiss Me(the Thai version) first. In that version, it is apparent, very early on that he has a soft spot for her, compared to the rest.
