The 2 dramas are similar regarding time jumps except in My Perfect Stranger the ML initiated the 1st jumps & coincidentally drags the FL with him eventually.
Both wanted to change their present lives but Heart of Genius the lead found out it’s in parallel world while My Perfect Stranger is same timeline & focuses on solving a certain crime in the past to save lives.
Both have romance but not overly focused on it.
Both are great dramas but My Perfect Stranger I feel is more complex.

Both series highlighted time loops & using personal items as the source of their time jumps.
In Heart of Genius it’s parallel world but in Time Called You it’s time travel through the same timeline except the FL’s jumps created an extra new timeline which caused big character changes but the ML’s jumps somehow brings the 2 timeline back into one.
Both FLs original lives before time jumps knew & loved the MLs & both initiated the first jumps… the personal items used were both given in secret by both MLs wanting them to time jump so they can meet.
There is so much more similarities but if like one then you’ll like the other.
A Time Called You is Korean remake of Someday or One Day and all 3 dramas are great watch…personally preferred Time Called You but it by no means lessen my enjoyment watching the others.

Signal popped into mind a few times watching Missing.
Similarities to me were
-Both ML’s got pushed into their abilities unintentionally
-Both MLs have similar personalities…righteous, strong but gets emotional for the victims
-ML partnered up with another Older ML
-ML with older ML solve murders that were often years unsolved

Both these dramas have excellent plots & cast.

Both are Law focussed although I find Stranger more darker since it mainly deals with heavy crimes & killing.
Both also have super intelligent leads (FL in EAW & ML in Stranger) and these leads have a certain condition that makes them lack in their interactions with others.
Both are also often looked down upon but ppl know that they’re undeniably good at their jobs.

-The biggest similarities for me was the fact that while both leads have difficulty understanding normal emotions they both want to live & help others
that have been wronged…they strive to do what’s right & at the same time try to learn the human emotions that comes with their cases.

The plots aren’t similar…but both dramas has a smart lead that has a certain disability that society often perceive as incapable of emotional involvement especially in a romantic way.
In both shows the thought of ‘maybe it is’ & ‘maybe its not’ did pop in my head with their relationship but it certainly didn’t stop me from hoping & cheering for it.
Both are also excellent dramas in their own right & highly worth the watch.

I’m pretty sure that they got the whole script of Second Husband from the 2016 Korean drama The Promise.
I will go as far as to say it’s a remake.
They’ve changed just a few crucial details but it follows the exact same plot.
- Both FL fell in love young and in that long relationship had a child
- Both FL were cheated on and left by the SML for a rich heiress
-Both lost someone they loved during the breakup that launched them into the revenge act
-Both FL are lost daughters & both born from a rich parent who doesn’t know of their relationship
-Both MLs are family members of the FL’s enemies
-Both SML mothers are annoying & obsessed with money
-Both MLs help the FLs knowing about their revenge

Out of the 2 I would say I preferred the SH since it didn’t go as dark as TP & although both FL are frustrating in the process of their revenge I liked that SH Main couple wasn’t as hopeless as TP

I remembered feeling like their was innocent yet sensual acts between leads that gave out such great chemistry.
Honestly I love a good romance drama that the lead couple takes it to next level…
I don’t necessarily want to see the details but in real life if a couple has that great of a chemistry then it’s only natural to add sex in the equation.
Also both dramas had their leads in a pretend fake love relationship to start with and both ended up falling in love during the process

I couldn’t help thinking the 2 dramas are similar in the sense of winning ratio for the good guys!!
Both leads are very smart and their strategic planning leaves you impress!
Bad guys got satisfying endings
Both drama has romance but it’s not their highlight nor important in the plot...still..it’s a cute watch when it’s put in every now and then.

Both Male leads are super controlling and manipulative.
Both dramas showcase the dark side of Obsessive Love.

Both Male Leads manipulated the Female Leads into marriage.
Both are very controlling.
Both Female tries to escape

Powerful Male Leads that uses their power and money to obtain, keep and control Female Leads.
They are both obsessive and manipulative

Extremely obsessive, jelous & controlling male leads.
Male leads you want to hate but like at the same time
