I'm left with Questions...

First of all I don't normally wrote reviews.. But this one was so messed up I have to. Okay so.. for me to begin I debated on watching this movie after reading the mixed reviews.. But I am typically one that ends up deciding that I will watch it and for my own opinion.. Which I ultimately did. Now here are my thoughts..

I feel the story could have been an interesting one.. I as I was watching I was left with more WTH is going on then with understanding.. I feel that there is so much missing from this it's not even funny.. I would have loved to see more interactions between the ML and FL.. what we get here leaves me empty. I was not even sad when they broke up. It's like they almost never had good dialogue between them. I was able to understand the relationship with the FL and the 2ML a lot better... There are quite a few repetitive scenes (flashback) that seem to be out of context. You are left guessing what just happened. Is the relationship between the ML and FL Toxic I can't truly determine that within the few scenes. There are issues for sure.. she is in love with him he likes her but after she is almost rapped his whole demeanor changes my guess is it's because he is angry he wasn't able to protect her.. but who knows. he becomes a bit colder towards her after that. She wants answers from him and At some point she must have been blind because she asked why he didn't fight him off of her hello... He got beat up... Now the ending What the heck was that?? She was attacked a 2nd time a I am just trying to figure out is this in her head or did it happen.. she's yelling at him to kill the guy.. okay I get it but at the same time what....??? Then final scene It's a scene from a movie the FL is in with another character on a bike and then the ML is there with her I am so freaking lost ...

The acting was decent.. I could tell their emotions.. But I wants drawn into feeling them almost side the actors. Now the camera angels have got me not wanting to watch this again. It reminded.me of something someone shot on their phone.. so many scenes shot at a distance then multiple scenes gave me a head ache with the camera shaking so much.. Not to mention so many scenes just linger ..

All in all this Movie has potential to be so much more and where it is it has fallen flat.. Definitely has amateur vibes. I will Not watch it again. But if you are looking for something.on the wired o meter that makes you want to puzzle everything together I would attempt to watch this one.. if you are looking for a solid story like that is understandable you are at the wrong place.

Predictable yet fun~

Story: A revenge heist that is quite predictable with sprinkles of humor.

Acting: Convincing acting with some of the familiar faces. Not sure if it's a star-studded movie but I know most of them or watched them from popular dramas. I, however, think that Dr. Jones made this movie more fun. Jo woo jin is a versatile actor and has been my favorite lately.

Music: Hollywood-like sound effects and music.

Re-watch Value: Rewatchable to those who's looking for a quick funny movie.

Overall: 6-7 stars. It's not exactly recommendable because some might find this boring because of the predictable plot but it's not a bad watch when you are bored or in need of something to pass the time. Nothing much substance story-wise but I would be interested to watch the part 2, hoping for a better plot, action scenes and villain. The CEO wasn't really scary for me and felt like the purpose of the 'snakes' was kind of a waste. Could have been better but not the worse.

Pure Entertainment

To sum it up, this movie is pure entertainment. There are moments of comedy, there are tender moments, action, thriller, tense. This movie really does have it all. For a movie viewing I’d almost say it’s close to perfect to sit down and watch but the catch is you can’t be someone with a feint heart.

Hwayi has a pretty easy to follow synopsis as well as simple on the outside character motivations that have much more depth and layers to pick apart if you want. As someone who likes a lot of depth I found this really nice, and considering it’s a movie I liked how it was easy to follow and you don’t have to really pick apart the characters as you’re only with them for a few hours.

There’s a lot of important themes the movie has, the main takeaway I found was the importance of family structure. It’s fine that they are all fathers, what isn’t fine is what they teach their ‘son’.

Kidnapping a boy and nurturing him under their gang activities and eventually encouraging him to kill others for their benefit isn’t a plus. But their are a few moments of payoff, where you can tell that they really care for him despite. They don’t want Hwayi dead and it’s interesting to see their dynamic as this family play out. I really like how coming into the movie after the time skip you believe they’ve all lived together for the years and it’s natural but definitely not typical or healthy either.

Now I’m not going to go into depth for this movie because I don’t find the need to. It’s entertaining. It’s really entertaining. The acting is beyond impressive considering Yeo Jin-Goo was 16 years old when filming. He’s the best of the best and I don’t doubt this movie when I watch. There are never moments where I sit and think “oh these people are just acting”. It’s a fully immersive experience. The amount of gore is a lot more than expected, the kill count is also more than expected. It could be arguable that some of the kills and gore are just for fluff, but I see this as a movie and movies I watch to entertain myself so I don’t see that as a bad thing.

This movie really made my night and I recommend it. It’s really good and I wish I could say more, but all I can do is emphasize it’s strength. The acting is superior, the action is very impressive, the story is easy to follow. This movie is very very good.

A nice little film and diversion

Many of these lower budget films start okay but get kinda lost. This one hangs together well.

The tale debates how communities should work together when possible riches await. You'll enjoy this film for that, the lush soundtrack, lovely visuals, and most of the verite acting of the kids and villagers.

The lead girl was kinda a two trick pony: big sweet smile OR tears down her face. But that's okay because the rest of the cast had lots of wonderful moments. Don't miss the Mouse Guy or the Leek Man. Or the two tiny boys who didn't seem to be aware that they were in this charming little movie.

I'm not sure I'd recommended a paid rental for this, unless inexpensive. I found it on America's YouTube for free and in 1080p.

Voyeuristic lens into the enduring machinations of a male escort

*Beautiful wide-lens cinematography that captures the room and the emotions of each character while retaining a sense of obscurity and a voyeuristic quality as we're never allowed to see too closely.

*The explicit scenes are not gratuitous and help drive the narrative

*The acting from everyone, especially Kai Ko, was deeply effective.

*Cons: Although I'm sure they served an artistic purpose, I thought the karaoke scene at the beginning and the dance scene at the end was uncomfortably long. It adds to the voyeuristic quality of the film, for sure, but I kept hoping it would end because I felt like it took away from being able to add more to other scenes. I also wish we were given just a little more insight into our main character. I wanted to know more about him, what he was feeling, and what ultimately happens to him. Some things are better left unsaid and to our imagination, so I'll have to give the writers extra credit for making me sad I couldn't get just a little more.

Definitely worth a higher rating on MDL. It was an artsy piece that I enjoyed watching.

life is hard!!

A slow paced movie filled with so much character. The protagonist was a no nonsense strong girl. I was actually kinda inspired by her lol..

The story follows a young girl who grew up in an orphanage and now has stepped into adulthood. She is studying something related to child care at college. She needs some extra money so she takes up a job as a babysitter for a single mother who is in dire straits herself.

I think the movie perfectly shows how life can be so hard for mothers, especially single moms who are struggling financially. The movie also highlights people who grow up in orphanages and the bond those who grew up together can form. There is a scene that was absolutely heartbreaking to me where one of the guys from the orphanage passes away and everyone in the friend group runs after the van carrying his body and breaks down on the road as the body is taken somewhere else to be taken care off coldly without a proper goodbye - just because he had no family of his own. The others cry and beg to be allowed to give him a burial and scream how they are his family but the law is the law and there is nothing to be done.

It is a movie worth watching. I had issues with the subtitles pacing which took away some parts of my enjoyment otherwise would have enjoyed it more.

I haven't read the book so I went into it completely blank. And yet, within a rather short time I got what was going to happen. So, if you go into it for suspense or drama, you will be disappointed. But I still liked it well enough. Why?

Because my obsessive, symmetry loving self loved how neatly it all fell into place, all the puzzle pieces. I mean I do wish it went deeper when it comes to the characters and the story - it felt like it barely scratched the surface - but it was, well, neat. I loved that the story was wrapped in a sweet happy ending bow.

Though in this case, I wouldn't have minded a little less happy ending - if Rika had waited and greeted Soichiro as a middle-aged woman, if they had gone down the step-siblings instead of lovers route... That would've been less romantic but more real, at least to me. Oh well.

Overall, a sweet little sci-fi story. I really need to read the book!

Sinister but confusing.

The good:
Holds nothing back
Conclusion is satisfying
Relatable characters

The bad:
Dialogue is a little contrived in some scenes
Pacing
Shallow

Guilty of Romance is very full frontal throughout the entire movie. Nothing seems to be off limits for the director in all of his films but Guilty of Romance seems to be the pinnacle of this trait. Unfortunately I started to lose my way a little bit in the story just after the one hour mark, the pacing of the film changed and the order of events got very jumbled up. The dialogue of the characters and the abstract nature of what they were discussing didn't seem to fit within the narrative. However, the ending of the film saved this for the most part because things were wrapped up and explained quite clearly in the end. No major loose ends.

Kagurazaka Megumi does a fantastic job as usual. This actress really sells her characters in all her movies very well, and seems to be able to tap into motivations to make them real and believable very easily. Supporting cast is good, but no stand out performances.

The biggest issue I had with this movie is how seemingly shallow it is. There isn't much to take away from all of this, which is fine, but I felt like the intention was to say more than it actually said. Because of this the rewatch value is low, and the pacing makes it difficult to invest into the characters beyond a superficial level. I understand their motivations but it all seems a little TOO chaotic for me to really connect with any of them.

Worth a watch simply for the extreme nature of the film, I can see this film connecting a lot more with others than it did with me.

Painting A Painful yet Beautiful Gestures and Emotions into One Huge Canvas.

Visually this movie is really artistic, aside from the aesthetics and beautiful cinematography, the performances of the actors come out like a combined art in the movie, it's like they're painting a painful yet beautiful gestures and emotions into one huge canvas.

Performance wise, the actors successfully conveying the messages of the story with their whole body, eyes, slight hands or shoulders movements, even the way they breathe can tell us the solid messages and emotions. Salute to all actors, no exceptions, even the child actors and the cameos, they show great acting quality, especially Song Kang Ho, Lee Ji Eun aka IU and Bae Doona.

We don't need to question any more about the acting quality Song Kang Ho has, there were one scene he walked while holding a doll after seeing his daughter, and he made me want to cry just by looking at his back. He is great and his all performances as Sanghyun, lead this movie so well.

I'm still shocked with IU, I actually didn't expect her to be this excellent for her movie debut. Her quality is multiple times better than her previous project, from facial expression, tones, gestures are all leveled up. Here she knows how to brings out enough portion of the emotions she has to show in every scene, and that looks visually poetic. There were not many scene where we can see Soyoung having a long physical contact with her own baby, Woosung, but once it happen -although it might look awkward, which is realistic, since Soyoung herself is an unprepared young mother- you can feel the hidden affections and the maternal instinct she has toward her baby, as a mother myself, i can clearly see it, maybe the other moms who watch this movie will feel the way i do.

The chemistry she has with Dong Soo is like a sweet bonus we get from the movie, proving that even without a physical contact you can still feel the butterflies by only seeing the image of Soyoung and Dongsoo in one frame. People keep mentioning the Ferris Wheel scene, yes it's so touching and heart breaking and i cried, but you'll actually see more of it throughout the movie.

Bae Doona as Soojin is not shown really often in the movie, but there were one scene where she has a conversation on the phone with someone, we don't really know who or what that other person says to her but her whole expression and tone in that scene is like telling a huge pain she has been dealing, whatever it is.

Story wise, it is kinda slowburn, up until half of the story. Surely it's not the type of movie that would make you cry a river, leave us in lots of angst nor laugh the hell out. It stays in the middle but if we see it in a positive way, actually with that we can slowly understand their wound and clearly see the emotion transitions in each character, also how they develop, personally it helps me to catch the feeling throughout the movie.

There were no long or difficult to understand narrations and dialogues, but almost every dialogues come with huge impact and weight.

Like everyone else's favorite, the "Thank you for being born" that said with IU's voice it's so precious, and i cried when the kiddo Hyejin say it to her in return.

In the end of the story, all of the characters here trying to find the best way to protect baby Woosung, it's heartbreaking and beautiful in the same time.

With this movie, Koreeda is trying to tell us not every woman who gave birth to a baby has an ability to be a mother, but every children that born deserves to receive protection and love from the adults around them. And that an action most people consider as irresponsible might be the best way to protect someone.

I watched this with my husband and our baby boy, my hubby cried a little at Soyoung and Soojin conversation inside the car. And on the way home he thanked me for giving birth and spending most of my time taking care of our son.

Take a good pillow

As much as I binged the two series with delight, sometimes staying late in front of my TV, as much as I fell asleep after 3/4 hour of this film. Boring as ever, plans to yawn, soporific actors, a Ma Dong Soek a little below and a Kim Sang Joong the worst of all... I also deplore the virtual absence of Tae Soo and the ridiculous excuse provided by the script. One or two stunts are good all the same, but here it is, I really slept stricto sensu on this story. We can really do without seeing it, but don't miss the Bad Guys series from 2014 and Bad Guys: Vile City from 2017!!! On the other hand, if you are a fan of Miss Kim Ah Joong, you will not be disappointed. She does well here too.

Detective Soojin's Several Scenes Crack Me Up All Over The Cinema

Comedy genre tag should be added in the genre tag. Soyoung (played by IU) & Detective Soojin (played by Bae Doona)'s scenes are actually comic, comedic reliever. When I watched this sat beside with my muggle friend, the cinema was filled by audiences half of the cinema, when there were physical & literally tad bit funny scenes, literally funny scenes in the first half, most audiences of half of the theatre laughed because of that LITERALLY funny scene, while I did not.

I admit, I wasn't bored at that time. The movie wasn't bored me hell out. BUT! personally, this movie was vvvvvv extremely slow to me which spent the first half of movie alone. This movie had slow pace, This movie is slowburn movie has slow paced walk. I haven't watched any director's previous work either know who he is. I just know him as a smart & brilliant director. Yes. ok. Actually not that interested to know him (the director) further & farther. I don't care who he is. It doesn't matter who the director is, where the director comes from, What kind of future masterpiece he will serve to us. I am not interested, well. I am quite netral in this. This movie moved extremely slow to move & trigger the plot & hint. The slowness of the pace. I wasn't bored, but perhaps I was in the condition where I was so exhausted at that time, I watched it after work, I did fasting, thus the first half makes me feel sleepy, my eyes were heavy, and forget to add that actually this movie is 'turn on your braincell, full of concentration, full of focus to spot on the meaning, what this movie implies' type movie kinda. Heavy movie I can say + slow paced movie, thus the first half of the movie is hard to watch personally. As I have said this movie required, pulled me to force my concentration & focus in, because the first half of the movie I can say, it contained of, carried plenty of hints to move, to lead us to understand what this movie tells, implies about. plenty of hints, clues, 'why?', reasons, backgrounds, answers to answer & move to the next scene, and this movie just could answer my 'what is this movie trying to tell about?" just could answer my all of questions in the second half of the movie. I mean, I have said, this movie is slow paced, and all of those hints were existed in the first half. the first half : introduction, where the hints are put, then to answer all of those on the second half.

Not a great job tho. Yes. OK. Pretty good. Not a melodrama, why people who watched this said this is a melodrama movie??!?! *getting me eyes twitching*. Why? something missing & lacking to me :

Demonstratic, emblematic issue which this Broker movie is such a hard & heavy to understand to watch, the issue, the problem to understand, conclude, sum up what this Broker movie tells me about :

When Soyoung (played by IU) dropped off her newly born son baby at a "baby box". Yes. Soyoung left her newly born son baby at a baby box, then her newly born son baby was picked up by Sanghyun (Song Kangho) & Dongsoo (Kang Dongwon), then Dongsoo deleted the recorded surveillance cctv video the process of dropped Woosung. Then by these 2 Sanghyun & Dongsoo secretly underground-ly sold babies to several arranged adoption process, bypassed the long & bureaucratic processes of orphanages. Sanghyun, Dongsoo, & Soyoung then went on a long road-trip in process to find the new & most proper best new parents for Woosung (the name of Soyoung's newly born son). Sanghyun, Dongsoo, & Soyoung then went on a long road-trip in process to find the new & most proper best new parents for Woosung (the name of Soyoung's newly born son) to find the most suitable adopters, best parents for only beloved Woosung, while a couple of chasing detectives (Soojin (Bae Doona) & Detective Lee (Lee Jooyoung)), while the detectives eagered to press child-trafficking charged trailed them. At some point, those gangsters then appeared & has been gotten involved.

Personally, in my pov that the director, Mr. Director Kore-eda Hirokazu fails, little robbed, little failed to balance the multi-threaded plot involving multiple storylines. This factor made me so baffled, dazed, confused because too much stories happened here. He failed to balance the multi-plots involving multiple storylines. Broker movie dropped in momentum when every time it cuts to the cops, as they only served as mouthpieces weighing opinions on the situation. I almost fell asleep because too much details here. An eight years old orphan kid, Haejin (played by Im Seungsoo) joined this central characters odyssey long journey finding the most suitable, best new parents for Woosung for no reason other than to earn cute points. Failed comic reliefs, meaningless presence of gangsters.

In the first half, there were several funny scenes which most of audiences of half of the cinema giggled, laughed, but I didn't find it funny. I was so sleepy, my eyes were quite heavy to try to focus because I know, the hints, clues were put in this first half, but I was so ff sleepy, I closed my eyes for several minutes, because I felt that the first half was nothing, nothing in the first half were solved. This story felt like rough first draft. There is nothing, there are nothing exciting, attracting & amazing, nothing attract me to watch stuff to be found, whose I felt nothing, in the first half of the movie, I questioned myself"is this movie really 'not for me' movie?" Because I was excited for nothing, there is nothing exciting to be found in the first half. UNTIL....

"Then, who is Moon Sunah?" ; "She's my obnoxious neighbour in my hometown whom I used to live beside"

When none of the audiences laughed. I cracked loudest filled all over the cinema?? (grinning opening largely & widely my teeth smiling). People around me then laughed because of me laughing out of nowhere, because I found that part was vvv funny & what a comedic reliever. When people remained silent & calm enjoying the movie, laughed as there were funny scenes, while I didn't laugh because I thought those scenes were not funny to me, when that Soyoung answered those, got me cracking!???? (multiple plenty of laughing cracking emoticons!). Yeah, had cute moments, but not that tickling & giggling me, only 2 scenes of Soojin (played by Bae Doona) & Soyoung (played by IU) got me cracking!

Also I had been suspecting Det Soojin since the first 10 minutes film started, my hunch toward Det. Soojin turned out right that it was her! I cracked my laugh? (cracking emoticons), because of Det. Soojin & my bet toward her turned out to be true! Answered & Unfolded my hunch toward her just exist in the second half. The second half is quite clear to me that I can understand what this movie tells about in the second half, bec the second half unfolded, explained the hints, clues I questioned for. The second half of movie is clear, easy to follow & comprehend, personally.

As in the contrary, as the person who use to be 'decent/ 'just alright'/just ok' with 'leaves deep meaning' film/series/drama's story. Yes it is ok for me. From the summary, brief explanation of the plot summary is understand to watch. Also, nonetheless as a 'petty film/series/drama' lovers. Turned out this movie is considered contains of deep, heavy meaning which I am in contrast against it. I just can say 'OK' because this movie turned out to be hard to watch especially as I have explained above, the first half required fullest concentration & focus because the first half is actually where all the bases, clues, hints are put, are existed. Then, the second half is easy to watch, because the I can collaborate, elaborate all the hints put in the first half, thus I can watch the second half easily, without hurdle, even though in the first half it was uneasy, I thought this movie was a tough watch to solve the hints put there. Turned out this movie suits with me, even though I am not used either do like watching heavy, tough series/movie/drama-s. it just means I am not used to watch heavy watch. Broker movie suits me even though. I feel it is just an 'alright' movie. I don't find any problem with the story, the story, plot summary, the plot are all 'okay/alright/nice/fine'! Lighter tone, not really a 'melodrama' movie, the lightness is considerably accessible & emotionally rewarding experience, regardless. The movie didn't judge anyone, they got the better view who they were themselves, instead.

Feel good movie with unlike-able anti heroes, duo anti-heroes (Sanghyun (played by Song Kangho) & Dongsoo (played by Kang Dongwon)) Either I ain't found issues, anything wrong with the acting. Yes, in the first half of movie, when Soyoung (IU) scolded, mad at the aspiring adoption parent/aspiring adoption consument, I found her, I found her acting as Hotel Del-Luna resemble. I saw that Jang Manwol renaissance, nonetheless after that scene, her acting was okay. No doubting anymore with all of Broker's involved, contributed actors, actress. When Soyoung revealed she murdered Woosung's father whom also her husband with the reason why. I also considered that her reason killed her own husband in empty hands were quite reasonable, could be accepted, could be approved despite of the wrong. When Soyoung revealed, she murdered her own husband, Woosung's father and it shocked the detectives! What a stellar performance & acting performance for all Broker's actors, actresses, including the cameos/special appearances. Final saying about the acting is, I don't issue anything, there is nothing wrong with the actors, actresses, including the special appearances's acting for this masterpiece. Sensitive performances for all of the casts & the visual show setting! Sensitive performances are all contained in this movie! As Song Kangho, no need to doubt. All the casts, including the special appearances have done great & spectacular job presenting this masterpiece!? (hands clapping emoticon)

For Music, I liked & enjoyed it as the tension & music were harmoniously increasing & it's fun tho! When the answer, in each scenes, there are these referred answers, solved hints, the climax-es the music's volume in each scenes was increasing as the tension also was increasing! Love the background music application in this movie!

There are no winners, none of them are correct.

I won't rewatch since I have said several times, this movie is considered as a heavy to understand the content of the movie. It was just 'OK', 'Alright!' Too heavy, rough, heavy driven for my preference, whose I am used to watch petty, illogical, stupid series/movie-s. Okay movie. When I had been writing this review since this morning, today, I even forgot the detail, include Soyoung's false name, Soojin's husband Russian name (played by Lee Moosaeng), Sanghyun's vision, hunch, sense turned out to be true, Sanghyun's ephiphany & reason that so far he just knew Dongsu didn't consider him. Forgettable because too much details put here, thus made me confused & dazed, however this movie doesn't attract me to rewatch again. It's something to see on a big screen moreover the background music, really challenged me! No extra shit, solid characters. This Broker movies is quite relevant! Nonetheless, I can say this is remarkable, worth to watch, memorable, enjoyable to watch, personally?? (hands clasping emoticons).

Funny, fluffy, with some serious drama too...

This is such a sweet hidden gem, with drama, fluff, more drama and more fluff... Oh and some humour too.

Though the main theme is a little bit out there, taking body swap just one step longer having two people in both bodies at once. Making way for som fun, fluffy, (yes I said fluffy again), and awkward situations with a focus on time zones instead of the oh so popular over used gender. giving us a lovely bickering couple who can bicker a lot without actually meeting each other... Watching these two use all kinds of self harm to fight each other is funnier than I thought it would be, and though there may be some slight second hand embarrassment that would otherwise bother me, it could be my mood, but it did not bother me at all.

Both leads are lovable, and there are no purely annoying characters as each supporting cast seems to do their role well, all are well casted, some I would say extremely well casted (Patrick Shih) and the movie is well written with good pacing keeping me curious and interested from start to finish.

I am willing to admit that some parts of the plot are a tad predictable, however they do have their own touch as well as great visuals and again fluff, fluffily, fluff... Ok there is also a guy in a coms, loneliness, a guy who crosses the line here and there, people being treated badly, lack of privacy and death... but it is well imbedded in fluffy cover of white snow... Making you forget all that stuff and only remembering the fluff... Just kidding... the pain and struggles are very much real and are well balanced by the fluff, how well is up to you to find out if you watch this movie.

If I should complain about one thing it is the idea of you must love yourself to be loved that is repeatedly mentioned here.... I say a person who truly cares will love you no matter how much you hate yourself... So forget pressure about having to love yourself or find yourself to be loved, that you can do regardless... So just take the love stuff out of the equation.

Definitely a movie I recommend, and it is even available with subs free and legally on you tube!

Another Nogizaka46 video centered around just a few members

I like Nogizaka46 and try to watch a lot of their videos, so I also wanted to watch a documentary to learn a little more about the group. Although the title is "How To Forget Sadness: Documentary of Nogizaka46," it seems like the vast majority of the documentary was spent showing members just crying.

If you have watched any other Nogizaka46 show/movie, you will have noticed that the entire production focuses almost entirely on just several members while everyone else is cast aside. I really don't like this system and this documentary is set up no different: just a handful of members are showcased or even shown for more than 0.5 seconds, and everybody else is completely omitted except for group shots.

If you really like the group and you have a couple of hours to kill, you can watch it.

Really enjoyed it

The acting was excellent, in my opinion. The movie was fast-paced, especially in the second half. There was the thrill in almost every scene.

But the acting takes the prize home. I loved the female lead's acting. I look forward to more of her work. The male lead (?) of the Squid Game fame really surprised me with not just his acting but the character choice. I hope he goes on to do more such interesting and diverse roles.

The film doesn't really answer the question of why and who and how this person is the way he is but with a movie titled 'Midnight' and the story unfolding in the course of a single night, I thought it was a perfectly reasonable choice.

Looking forward to more such interesting movies.

Time doesn't heal everything.

To be fair, I didn't have high expectations so wasn't terribly disappointed when everything went the way it did. Really not a fan of gay-shaming or the assertion that time heals everything though. Or the whole 'religious morals' thing.

There were a few sweet moments which were - imo - sadly overshadowed by the more unpleasant ones. Also, the attention paid to crotch shots was more than a bit disturbing. And not just because they didn't actually add to the movie in any discernable way...

Overall I think the actors did well despite the lacklustre story but yeah, wouldn't watch again.
