never ending drama

The lakorn starts with Visanee returning from London, directly causing mayhem at her father’s wedding. She grew up with her dad as her parents were divorced.

Surprisingly, her stepmother is not the typical stepmother; she has a very calm, loving, and caring personality.

Visanee starts working as Aarom’s secretary. She bullies him, makes errors and mistakes on purpose, and appears lazy, but Aarom falls in love with her (this is obvious to the audience, though he is not aware of it yet).

He has a fiancée who is insecure and jealous of Visanee.

On the other hand, Visanee’s father wants her to be engaged to someone wealthy. This includes the son of a rich Chinese family.

Aarom’s fiancée is always jealous of him and constantly appears at the wrong time and place.

This leads to her having a one-night stand with Yotin (the guy who wants to get engaged to her for her money)

Aarom doesn’t physically cheat on his fiancée, but he’s always around to help and support Visanee (if you believe emotional cheating is cheating, then it’s cheating; however, I subscribe to the “look but don’t touch” motto. My husband works with top models and Hollywood stars (when they come to London) and he comes home and tells me about them, but it’s purely professional).

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you see it (glass half full or half empty), Aarom doesn’t learn about this until the very end. When he does, he doesn’t believe it and makes accusations.

His fiancée dies in episode 9 and exits the story. Don’t think that just because one crazy character is gone, things will get better. You wish! But it’s not going to change what’s coming.

it was obvious that Aaron no longer loves his fiancé, instead of breaking up & starting a new with Visanee.

Visanee accidentally hits and kills Aarom’s fiancée. Even though he was not on good terms with her at that point, he decides to take revenge.
what irked me was Aaron suddenly acted like he was deeply in love with his fiancé after the accident.
The crazy characters are never-ending. The fiancée’s best friend, Witasanee, is also in love with Aarom
Mental trauma Visanee gone through was not acceptable.
As if Aarom is the only man left on this planet earth, all the unhinged females wants him for themselves. In the end, Aarom discovers the truth about his fiancée and confronts Witasanee, who admits that Non had cheated on him. She even recorded the video and took photos.

After this, you’d expect him to apologize to Visanee, but he doesn’t.

There’s a non-consensual scene, and they also make love, but he is horrible to her. I hate lakorn ladies with Stockholm Syndrome.

In the end, Visanee’s dad accepts Aarom as his son-in-law, Vitasanee loses the movement of her legs, Aarom understands he really loves Visanee, Char and Nute realize they’re in love, and Yotin and his mother go to prison.

You can still watch it for Om and Aum.

Fan girl mode on: Aum’s eyes and the way he stares at the female lead make my heart beat faster. (Fan girl mode off)

Aum is surely one of the most beautiful Thai actresses. By the way, she’s older than Om and older than Benz (who plays her stepmother).

There was decent chemistry between Aum and Om.

Still better than most of the slap kiss lakorns

If you get bored, just fast forward.

Some stories are beginnings. Some are endings. This is a middle.

I really liked this series. It was cleanly stripped down to the main characters story. There were no unnecessary scenes. There was no second couple to stretch the length. There was no over the top humor for the sake of humor. The characters are engaging without overburdening the viewer with backstory.

Although the first episode was a little awkward, the writing and acting got much better. The chemistry between the main characters developed naturally. It left us wanting more. So I hope there is a second series coming.

The OST is wonderful and I'm going to add it to my favorites playlist.

The most depressing show I've ever watched.

I think the title of this drama 'Queen of Tears' is referencing the writer of this drama 'Park Ji-eun' and not anybody in the show, because every single episode I cried multiple times. Even when there was 5 minutes of happiness, the next scene was some extremely depressing thing about miscarriage, or somebody dying, or an abandoned child etc...
It was too much, by the end of the drama I couldn't muster up any more tears, I was finished.
AND THEY ENDED IT WITH HIM PUTTING FLOWERS OVER HER GRAVE.
WE COULDN'T EVEN GET A HAPPY ENDING SCENE WITH THEM HAVING FUN DOING SOMETHING! WE JUST GET HER DEAD. What a fucking shit ending, thank you for nothing Park Ji-eun.

Moonlight chicken

Good story about two lovers who fall in love, but one of them is afraid because he had lost his loved once before.

I really liked the story, even though there's infidelity, that's why I gave it a ten. It is perfect, and the actors, known from many other dramas, did a fantastic job!

The settings and everything is excellent, I would recommend it!

Okay!

It’s a very interesting idea! To show two separate lives our FL could have lived based on one initial choice. It was exciting at first, but as the episodes went on her hometown life became quickly boring and repetitive (meanwhile her life in Shanghai maintained interest). I do like Li Xue Yi as an actor and his character here was nice enough at first, but he became very dull. It might be because we start off with him and the FL already together- it’s a little more interesting to watch a relationship develop (like the FL’s relationship with Xue Yu Ming does). But, I lost interest in that as well eventually- unfortunately.

By halfway through I wasn’t really sure what else could come from this. Both realities seemed to reach their peak (proposal & dating), so I didn’t have the desire to continue really. It was enjoyable enough and I am not dropping due to it being bad, I think it just lost it’s charm.

Bed friend uncut version

If I watched it again because I liked the story, everything in general, it is a good story and if I recommend it, two friends who hate each other end up becoming lovers.

They fall in love, there are stories of rape towards one of them, a mother who hates him, and another mother whose son wants him to marry a woman, and who is slow to accept what her son is, in itself, the Story is excellent, that's why I liked it a lot and gave it a 10

A work-place drama with some issues

The kisses in this drama are knee-weakening. Some are so tender and poignant, while some are passionate and hungry. The chemistry between the couple is amazing.

But ...

As a work-place drama I found the actions of the boss a little predatory. I know it's a trope in BL dramas but this went too far in some scenes. The secretarial unit's "humorous" acceptance and encouragement of the situation was also disturbing. This lessened the overall impact of the main characters' trauma.

That said, I did watch it twice.

I didn't like the ending, the story wasn't bad, but eventually, it was unpredictable, it wasn't understood very well even in the movie afterward.

I really don't know how to explain it, the actors They were good, but I didn't like the story very much, that's why if I were to watch it again.

They meet again after a few years, and the one who died has supposedly changed his face.

watch if you don‘t like happiness and enjoy being stressed tf out

Where to even begin…

I am so incredibly conflicted about this one.
I don’t think I‘ve ever watched anything this stressful in my entire life.

Cast: cast was awesome, loved almost all of them in their roles and they (mostly) all played their parts so incredibly well, which made the whole thing even more stressful but well more on that later.

Story: this is different. As in it’s not your usual happy go lucky everything is fixed by true love and a kiss BL. Which a lot of people might appreciate. I am not so sure I do. If anyone has seen Skins(?) that’s the kind of vibe it gives.
A bunch of very flawed humans with some serious issues coming together, clinging to each other for some light and love I guess.
If that’s what you‘re looking for then please go ahead and watch this. If you prefer being happy and need that magical love conquers all sprinkle on your BL maybe skip this one, or you might end up like me… which you might either way.
With blood pressure going trough the rough screaming on the inside and outside at almost every one of these characters throughout all 12 Episodes.
I was not able to ship anyone throughout most of this, I did come around a bit towards the end, but still… like I said, possibly a tad too „human“ for me.

That being said, this was not bad at all. It was actually painfully good at showing what fucked up peoples life’s, love life’s and friendships might look like… I just don’t know if that’s what I‘m looking for in a series (at least rn, 15 yo me would’ve eaten this up).

I personally don‘t think I‘d watch it again. I did take out some great music for my playlists though :)

Double savage

What to say about this drama, I will start by saying that it is perfect, the actors did great, different roles from their previous dramas, it is fantastic, very action, fights, love, Mafia, police, Poor and rich parents, friends who grow up together, and two brothers at odds, a revenge between them, a love that is false perhaps because of the girl's revenge, a sister also in the middle of them, and who also falls in love with the mafia man, but eventually he is not so bad, a younger brother full of hatred to death, in short, I highly recommend it because it is truly a great drama, undoubtedly I will see you again, as soon as I see all the lists I have, I apologize for all the dramas I have to watch, I loved it from beginning to end. ?????

Insufficient Excellence!

This show is an underrated gem! The story alone is superb, but when you add in such a fantastic cast it makes this story even excellent!

The curious bit that this show leaves behind is the past of all their characters; though it does fit with the storyline. I'm left wondering why this show only had seven episodes, it would have been nice to see more of the partnership between Kubota Masataka and Kitamura Kazuki as they went through the ups and downs of life along with the work of being a bodyguard, which in itself is an interesting story.

While there are only seven episodes, it does not mean the story is lacking content or moving too fast. Quite the opposite! This show packs a punch in to a little bit of time by telling an epic adventure story! I appreciate the few flashback scenes and the importance the script put on "moving forward"; it was nice to see characters that are looking for the "happy" sides of life while using the upsets of their past, instead of always brooding and dwelling over things.

I think this show can make a comeback, maybe with the same cast or maybe with a different cast; the "side characters" at Asahina-san's side were extremely interesting and I would have liked to of seen more of their interactions. This story really is unique and relatable in many ways. Please give this show a try!

Love overcomes misunderstandings, rivalries, differences and ghosts

A love that overcomes misunderstandings, rivalries, personality differences and ghosts

'Stay by My Side' begins with an unexpected and involuntary collision between Gu Bu Xia, the Anthropology student and owner of a sports scholarship as he is one of the best players on the university basketball team, and Jiang Chi, the future lawyer and son from a famous family of doctors who has just been transferred to Yong Yu University.
After several setbacks, these two young people, soon declared enemies, begin to live in the bedroom occupied by Bu Xia, since Jiang Chi has been forced to make a living by his own means after defying his parents, who want the boy to continue his steps in the career of Medicine.
Starring Isaac Yang as Jiang Chi, and Hong Wei Zhe as Bu Xia, the romantic and supernatural comedy with an LGBTIQ+ theme revolves around the unlikely romance between these two young college students with major personality differences, marked by paranormal ability of one of the protagonists, which provides a pleasant and fun novelty to the audiovisual product.
Soon the tender, light and happy series will introduce us to the lives of both characters. While Jiang Chi is an excellent basketball player, he does not seem interested in joining the varsity team, not wanting anything to distract him from his studies. Additionally, he works several part-time jobs to avoid being financially dependent on his parents.
For his part, the orphan Bu Xia has been raised by his grandfather, a spiritual medium, in a temple run by his sister Gu Bu Tao (Jin Cheng). After the death of the old man, the shy and insecure Bu Xia hears ghost voices murmuring in his ears, a circumstance that will worsen just as the new roommate enters his life.
Bu Xia, who has lived alone in his bedroom until Jiang Chi's arrival, will soon come to a conclusion: being close to the boy who now sleeps a few meters from his bed brings him peace, as the ghosts feel self-conscious and flee before him. Your presence. The more he interacts with Jiang Chi, the less he hears the voice of those who "pull the chain." That is why he will try to always have him around him..., but he hides the reason from him.
For his part, the law student mistakes Bu Xia's camaraderie as if the boy was flirting with him. "Could it be that Bu Xia has fallen in love with me?" he will ask himself. Jiang Chi comes to think that he is the object of his dormmate's love interest.
As a result, the supernatural element spices up a series with greater originality than the classic college romances, while the relationship between the two boys takes us on a journey surrounded by mystery and intrigue and in which love can overcome misunderstandings, differences in personalities and even outwit the ghost chase.
Likewise, the series will allow us to appreciate how two rivals can come to love each other with such madness and passion, to the point of one of them accepting the transfer of the uncomfortable ability to hear ghost voices that the other suffers.
Vidol, the Taiwanese streaming platform that makes BL series such as 'VIP Only' (2023), 'Anti-Reset' (2024) and 'You Are Mine' (2023), commissions Cai Fei Qiao, known for being the screenwriter of the acclaimed drama 'Unknown', 2024, the executive producer of another classic of the genre: 'We Best Love: No. 1 For You' and 'We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd', and for playing Mrs. Yao, Shun Yu's mother, in 'You Are Mine Special', released in May 2024.
Lovers of the genre will be pleased with 'Stay by Me Side' for its strong BL content, for the tender and constant romantic interaction of the protagonists, for portraying two college sweethearts living the fullness of romantic happiness, for exploring the bond of the physical, emotional and spiritual couple, for their happy ending.
Likewise, fans of BL series will like the complicity of Bu Xia's sister and Jiang Chi, both interested in the young man's well-being and happiness.
I like the character played by Hong Wei Zhe: a boy who shows traits of insecurity and cowardice in the face of paranormal phenomena, who doesn't? But he leaves us with a memorable memory, especially when he discovers that he has fallen in love with another boy, and there he acts not infrequently in a childish and insecure way as well. What sometimes overreacts? His contagious laugh, his innocent eyes, his angelic face redeem him from excesses.
The mysterious and reserved character played by Isaac Yang is equally convincing, especially when he seeks to protect Bu Xia from ghosts and everything that could affect him. He is a lover who gives himself completely to the loved one.
I would have liked the series to delve deeper into the denunciation of possible homophobia (the reasons are not clear), perceived when Bu Xia and Jiang Chi's relationship becomes gossip among the other university students, who will try to obtain invasive photos of the loving couple, or make annoying comments in physical and virtual settings.
Isn't Taiwan the only Asian territory where Equal Marriage or Homosexual Marriage has been approved? Is sexual diversity not widely accepted by the Taiwanese population? Are same-sex sexual relations not legal? Why then consider the fact that two boys holding hands and attracting each other on a university campus or on the street in Taipei a public spectacle?

An innocently soft and fluffy story from start to finish.

"How nice it is to fall in love with you."

I appreciated how healthy this was. I wouldn't expect high schoolers to have distinguished words to describe feelings and the clunky authentic way these two did it felt very fitting for the setting the show put together. They communicated so well that there was no space for embarrassment and it's just a wholesome time watching two people fall in love by the sea.

I also really liked how chill Ryuuji was in contrast to Amane. I think the actor did a really good job of portraying the laid back nature of his character which fit very well with his profile.

No unnecessary drama or third act conflict that makes me wanna roll my eyes. It has the vibe of snuggling into a soft blanket with a warm drink.

Love blinds you

I am so full of emotions.... I mean, first I didn´t get why Su Min couldn't accept Jae (don't remember their names ) This could be another story if he accepted his love but no, He as proud (i don't get it, because he chose to be a prostitute instead of being loved and have a nice live).... Then, ohhhh god so much love around..... I like it a lot, old Korean movies are the best.... so cruel and realistic. At the end they both gave up their inner struggles..... I'm quite sure they stayed together as couple.
