Zhang Zhe Han and Park Min Young are both very good actors. I look forward to more dramatic conflicts between the male lead Gu Chi Jun and the female lead Xu Zhen. It will be very interesting.

Just Stop At Episode 9

This was kinda cheesy, kinda cute up through episode 9. I wouldve recommended it up through episode 9. I liked most of the characters through episode 9. Except Saengtia, but we'll get there.

Episode 10 ruined what could of been a solid, good BL series. Patt was my absolute favorite character and the side couple was excitingly cute with good chemistry. Saengtia was there, but let's get back to positives. The music was great, I actually tracked down quite a few of the songs and playlisted them. The chemistry was *chefs kiss*, you vibe? And then Saengtia decides to start lying for literally no reason. And I do mean no fucking reason.

I hate lying plotlines because, for me, a character can rarely come back from it. I already had trouble liking Saengtia, once he started lying (and to P'Patt ffs. Why??? Patt was an angel) I went from mild dislike to outright vitriol. I dont want to watch people I don't like fall in love. Lomfon was also part of the stupid fucking storyline that wrecked this show, so despite how much I'd liked his character, episode 10 - 12 was spent just fast forwarding or straight up skipping Saengtia and Lomfon scenes.

Saengtia irks me so, so, so much. He lies, gets mad at P'Patt for being mad at him for lying, stonewalls him when he asks Saengtia to be clear about who he wants, tells Patt he doesn't like his tone to shut him up like he didnt just spend a full day frolicking about with someone EVERYONE has said likes him, kisses that same guy (fucking over his own brother in the process), gets pissed at Patt for being pissed considering he just found his boyfriend cheating, stonewalls Patt AGAIN..... such a repulsive character, I was f u m i n g throughout the last three episodes. Even before episode 10, I had no sympathy for Saengtia. A grown ass adult throwing the worlds largest tantrum because his parents divorced. Amicably. All the blame on his mom with no knowledge of anything that happened. A. Grown. Ass. Adult. And then to be so overinvolved in overthinking about his parents divorce that he ignores his soulmate for TWO YEARS????? yeah, he never deserved Patt and Patt has my sympathy for apparently deserving Saengtia. I hope he has better karma next life.
Frankly, rip Saengtia out of the story (not replace, remove. Patt can kiss the air or something) and the rating would immediately go up to an 8.

I dont even want to get into the jenkiness of the trope. Wouldve been fine and dandy, but the writers were salivating to have Saengtia fuck everything up so bad they did it themselves. If you cant follow (or at least define, damn) the rules of your trope, skip the trope. You yell a bit and get real sad and now you can hear in the rain??? Youre nearby and stressed and now youre the third wheel soul mate???? S p a r e. M e.

I loved this series so much, which is really a shame, because I hate this series. Again, stop watching after episode 9, or dont watch at all, if only for your blood pressure.

This drama has a Groundhog-type time travel plot where the protagonists have to unravel a mystery in order to save lives. I think that the drama leaves some things unexplained but I enjoyed it a lot. I just wish that they had left the romance out because it did little for me and almost got in the way of the main story. Similarly, the two young main protagonists, as good as they were, were pretty much overshadowed by the acting and experience of the older actors, particularly the mother and father, who were both amazing. I would recommend this drama to anyone who wants a fast-paced drama with unexpected twists and turns.

I loved this K-drama so should you

I loved this K-drama, I loved it so much to the point that I finished it in 1 and 1/2 days. I loved it so much because of all the plot twists, if you like plot twists or K-drams where there is denial in love but in the end they fall in love this is the show for you. Things I disliked in this drama were that I didn't like how the male lead had bipolar feelings toward the female, and also that the male lead was too focused on his brother instead of his feelings. But things I liked in this drama were that the story wasn't just focused on romance but also family problems and thriller. I liked how the female lead overcame her fears, and also i liked how the second male lead was more fond of the female than the male lead. If you want to watch a drama that doesn't just focus on love this is the one for you.

I can’t remember a drama with as many beautiful people (young or old, good or evil, main character or random person on the street). Mades it harder to follow the plot, haha. (It’s easier for KDramas. If a guy is good looking, he’s often good; if he’s bad looking he’s bad. If he’s good looking but bad then he gets a sad backstory to explain his badness.)

I like the main character who is funny, smart, principled (but not sanctimonious), and kind but not a pushover---he can, and does, match all of the schemers around him scheme for scheme. There are a number of great female characters, including his faithful sister and a sidekick/rival (whom, unfortunately, I like much more than the primary love interest). The fact that some of the most unlikely characters are actually martial arts experts made this especially fun and interesting.

A complete package! Absolutely masterpiece

The title of this drama really describe the story. A lot of life lesson about how you should embrace life, self acceptance, and be more compassionate about others and your surrounding.

Although its a slow pace, but the story is so well written, made it not the weakness but instead the strength of the whole series. You will find it is so realistic and relatable to your everyday life, and immerse yourself as part of it. The romance is also a slow burn kinda romance, everything is natural, and no overacting. The cast -- you'll know its a great drama when the supporting roles are as memorable as the main roles. Each person is unique and has their own strength, weakness, and problems. And their character develop as the story progress. Not just the main roles, but to each one of them. Thus, I give four thumbs up (including my feet thumbs >,< haha) to the writer who blended them nicely.

I Liked: 1) The funny parts, such as game day in the Afterlife and Manager Gwi talking to the chicken. I think Korean dramas often shine when it comes to comedy. 2) The actor Choi Won Young. He’s such a versatile actor, funny in one drama and sinister in another. 3) The little vignettes of people and how they were helped by the Mystic Pop-up Bar characters.

I was not crazy about the following: 1) It was difficult to connect the present-day characters emotionally with their characters 500 years ago. It’s possible for one’s personality to change a lot over the years, particularly over the course of 500 (!) years, but because the characters seemed like completely different people, the past felt detached and less like a 500-year tragedy. 2)The ending. I am sometimes disappointed with Korean drama endings due to many writers' penchant for ending dramas happily, regardless of logic or consistency. I don’t have a problem with happy endings per se but too often the ending feels tacked on and added just for the sake of a happy ending. I felt that way here.

So cute Guchijun, So cool Zhangzhehan ❤️

Oh my gosh, "Castle in the Time" is such an amazing drama! I absolutely loved Zhang Zhehan's portrayal of Gu Chijun. He was just so wise and composed, and his acting skills were seriously impressive.

Gu Chijun goes through so much emotional turmoil throughout the series, but Zhang Zhehan does a fantastic job of bringing out every little emotion and detail. His performance really made me feel all of Gu Chijun's joys and sorrows as if they were my own.

But can we also talk about how cute the female lead was? I just adored her character so much! She was such a lovable and relatable character, and I found myself rooting for her throughout the entire series.

All in all, Zhang Zhehan and the entire cast did an incredible job with "Castle in the Time". I can't wait to see what they have in store for us next!

The Korean version of this drama is not the wrenching Greek tragedy that the Japanese one was and that is both bad and good to me. Bad because it was not as emotionally disturbing as the Japanese version. And good because … it was not as emotionally disturbing as the Japanese version. The Japanese version left me feeling completely drained. This one is not quite as upsetting. I like the characters in this Korean version better. Kim Moo Young is not as damaged and Yoo Jin Kook is much more sympathetic. I think all of the actors did a great job, particularly Seo In Guk.

I love Zhang Zhehan ❤️

Fun to watch

Despite the low quality production, this is really a nice drama and i still watch it up to this day-! I think ive already watched it 7 times-! Its about a group of young kids solving mystery cases, critical thinking and detailed work. This drama shows friendship, growth and amazing character development which i absolutely love, definitely recommend for young kids or teen.
This drama isnt mainly based on romance, but more to amazing adventure with each and every character. However, i did almost drop it at first as it wasnt as entertaining as other historical cdrama ive watch. This drama is less tense compared to others. The drama made me think about daily life more, and trained me to be more detailed and careful while doing anything. In each situation, i would practice to be careful in all perspective to avoid being cheated or scammed.

Too unserious to be the Euphoria of BL

I went into KinnPorsche with a lot of hype around the series after having watched a lot of BL and related media in 2021 when it was first getting rumored and made into reality having just finished amazing series like Until We Meet Again and Manner of Death. Those shows highlighted BL's growth as a genre and that was proof that some exceptional shows in the gay genre could exist and also have intrigue outside of the plot romance while also taking itself seriously. Unfortunately KinnPorsche did not live up those titles at all.

There are intense pacing issues and a distinct lack of -real- drama for quite literally the first five or six episodes, considering how the pilot introduces Kinn and Porsche and the (initial) pretense of why they are together; Kinn is the heir of the lead crime family in the area and needs a bodyguard in Porsche. So many episodes are spent in this 'training' arc that is very campy and there's quite literally nothing serious that happens until about five episodes in when Porsche is present for the 'teaching of a lesson' that goes haywire. Porsche is more of a sassy live in crush that throws quips around until the plot decides to get serious about 8+ episodes in and we have overlapping side stories finally bringing the forest from the trees together and reminding the audience of the overarching plot. Sprinkled scenes of intimacy held me in suspense and yes they were nice but I didn't think Kinn and Porsche's chemistry was that great, either, they are just very attractive guys but I didn't feel any chemistry beyond that. I wasn't hooked until the very last episode but felt like it took way too long to get a coherent overarching plot amounting to something and to get satisfying comeuppances from the various characters. Didn't like Vegas much and I kind of hated Pete and Vegas, it just seemed out of nowhere but I did enjoy Kim and Porchay, Porsche's younger brother.

There's a story about family and loyalty and deception in KinnPorsche but it takes too long to find itself and meanders drunkenly through campy arcs for way too long to then have to rely on tired tropes to deliver. KinnPorsche to me wasn't offensively bad, but I can't say I thought it was good, either. If there's something to takeaway, I enjoyed the fighting scenes in KP way more than any of the BL aspects.

Appreciation

Honestly, thanks to this show I got a glimpse into the world of talented people who plays music in an orchestra. I thought i wouldn’t like it simply because I’m not particularly interested in this type of genre. However, Lee Young Ae impressed me with her seriousness about her trade, her steely cold demeanor, and of course, her conducting. She’s mesmerizing to watch, and I appreciate the work put into the role (i read) so definitely deserves the watch. Supporting cast were great too. Overall it’s a great watch and I’m glad i did. Other reviews have great intakes on the story.
