You don’t have to be young to have love

Started watching with No expectations and ended up gladly surprised.

Basically…. Hard working FL with a healthy, busy family life…. Meets super star teacher ML…. And go from haters to friends, to admiration to love…. Which is how it normally happens in a mature relationship between adults.

Yes… she looks older than what the story portraits… Yes, her clothes style are not of this century…. who cares? She brings life to a lovable character that got me cheering for her success pretty soon.
Now he… well he does a great job going from arrogant-narcissistic-I am better than bread man to super caring-loving-even passionate man….. totally in love and respect for her…

They have issues… get angry… but they talk about it… like normal people should do.
Now… it is also true that the murder plot takes time away from these 2 in romance … and it was solved in a very simple, quickly way…. That could have gone better.

What gets me thinking is the obsession of parents and the education of their children… the pressure to perform is unbelievable at such young age…these kids wake up, go to school, then academy and then online lessons… seriously?… no time to live,.,, no time to be young… no wonder they get depressed and have serious mental issues. And worse… the power of the mothers to drive the school agenda… is ridiculous… but so true… a reflection on the reality of education… not only in Korea, but other countries… sad but true.

Also… social media pressure is the curse of this generation… how superficial opinions can break a hard working person’s reputation without any repercussions will continue to haunt us down in this life time… another sad but true.

The Uncle is hilarious…. Kudos for such a warm loving performance!

I found the story original, funny and got me reflecting on a lot of stuff….
Would I watch again? Yes
Do I recommend it? Yes

DO NOT WATCH THIS CRAPPY SHOW

Absolutely Horrible. The writing on this is nothing short of trash. The writer should be punished. The director and studio should pay all the people for wasting their time. I hope this writer has never got another job. This is so bad that I actually took the time to write this. Fina any other show to watch. Clearly No one proof read this, or went thru the script. Too much stupid-ness. I guess all the other reviews saying the same thing is proof. If you see the writer- smack them for me.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Season 2 made this my favorite show of all time.

This is my first time writing a review for a show and I will just keep it brief. On the surface you expect this to be some fun, shallow action series where they have to complete games to survive, but with the second season revealing how it all came to be there is so much more depth to it than people realise. I was extremely happy with how it was executed from start to finish, and that it didn't end up being a generic ending but one that had multiple plot twists. It had me in tears and made me re-evaluate my own life. Thank you for this masterpiece.

Even 2 suns can't heat this one up

Characters exist, characters inexplicably fall in love. And some possible, muddled ships. That's about it to this BL.

The storytelling is rather incoherent. Sun is sent to collect a debt from Athit--Sun is part of some debt collection company (it seems) and somehow Sun's own father engages the company's services, which sends Sun to collect the debt. (Weird.) And Sun is a debt collector who never manages to collect any debts--it is not clear why; it is not as though his colleagues have superior debt collection tactics, but I digress like the series keeps doing.

Anyway, it turns out that Athit does not even owe Sun's father anything. In fact, it's the other way round. So what purpose does it even serve to get Sun to collect a debt? Boun and Prem are the leads playing Athit and Sun respectively, and the acting is understandably weak because ... how are they supposed to act with such randomness? It is not like there's any nuance or depth of character to bring out.

Another couple, Ashing and Mangkorn, has an even thinner storyline (if you can call it one). It seems that Mangkorn is basically enslaved because of a debt his father owes (Ashing's father is the boss of the aforementioned debt collection agency). They don't get along well at first but suddenly fall in love.

Then there is an assortment of characters whose behaviors are often inexplicable. One vaguely sees some possible ships here and there, but everything ends up being quite confusing.

The storytelling style makes things worse. One quirk of this series is the use of flashbacks to show how what is happening in a scene happens to begin with. This style is most of the time purposeless and does not enhance our engagement or appreciation of the story.

The only really entertaining thing in this series is the ending. And I don't even mean the happy ending for the two couples. It's how the boyfriend of Athit's brother (a terrible person) is left stranded on an island, with everyone forgetting he's there. Initially, I thought that the careless scriptwriters simply did not realize that they had left him on the island. Perhaps they did, but it is funny how they made use of it at the end so generate some humor.

A PURE HIDDEN THRILLER JEWEL

A MUST WATCH FOR ANY SEO KANG JUN'S FAN AND/OR THRILLER's FANS !

The acting, the rewatch value, the OST were the strongest points.

The OST were pure gem, they fits all perfectly the different sides of this mystery thriller sad dramaatic epic action drama. If you want a preview of this drama then you can simply listen to the OST and you will get a glimpse of what the drama is about perfectly well.

The ACTING is fantastic ! One of the best acting I have ever seen. Seo Kang Jun delivered on this one like there is no better drama out here at this level of acting, from my poinf of view or if there is please tell me. I am curious.

The rewatch value is HIGH HIGH and only HIGH I have watched this drama at least three times.

The story is great, though in the middle was a little bit annoying but it was made on purpose for the overall story, at the end you understand why you went through annoying parts of the story!

Dropped it

This drama is so slow, I was on episode 19 when I had enough and searched for a novel spoiler because both the 9 tailed fox and Tushan Jing where growing on me alot.

-NOVEL SPOILER STARTS HERE-
-
-
-
On reddit people were saying that Tushan Jing ends up with her and the fox helps him escape death. Cang wtz (the brother and prince of Xiyan) marries our female leads sister and he was the one who plotted to have Tushan Jing killed by using his older brother Tushan Hao or wtv.

I just felt so baddddd for the fox like wth my poor little baby

Intense and immersive

The acting : the strongest point of this Kdrama. I will talk only about the main male lead of this drama but keep in mind that the others leads were exceptionnally great in their role too. I want you to discover it by yourself. Ji Hoon truly and exceptionanlly fits the character, and his acting is insane the way he conveys the emotions of a weak hero is so powerful.

The story was great overall but I did not really like the story with the girl and her brother. The other stories were absolutely great!

The music fits the drama although I do not really appreciate the ost "hero" by meego. The others are great to listen and fits the atmosphere of the drama.

The rewatch value: No doubt the rewatch value is high. I cannot wait for the season two.

Bad yet oddly entertaining

The Female lead- Has really sweet mimics and a nice smile, but damn the girl yells som much that I had to turn down the volume/hit the mut button at times.

The male leads only talant is his smile and ocasional shower scene, the other male lead had moments of okay acting but also moments of bad everytthing going down a slipppery slope... of wtf

The women are EVIL as EVIL gets or Kind ad KIND gets...

The story makes no sense what so ever and lacks proportions kind of going more or less between OH you lied to me once DIE! I WILL NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN... Oh you tried to kill me, make me loose all that is dear to me, tried to kill my sister, his cousin, kicked a puppy, schemed with my nemesis.. Shake it off, those things happen all is forgiven let's go eat cake... And the amount of cheese towards the end should be enough to create the worlds larges mac n cheese pizza.

The acting - Bad
The chemistry- OK

Yet somehow it worked, I was hooked and binged most of it in one go... Making the first 9 or 10 episodes fall under the catagory so bad it is good but the last few just bad...

if you love horror and thriller

This was a great watch. I don’t regret the hours I spent watching this. I’m such a big fan of out of the box storylines and this gave me exactly that. If you watched all of us are dead then I’m certain you would like this one. I like that, it was based in a high school Setting which makes it more fun because there were no “adults” And it was literally just teens, fighting to survive without adult intervention. It’s worth every minute so check it out As soon as you can, and avoid spoilers

Unexpectely a really good series, compelling and touching

I really didn't expeted to like this series so much, since I had watched Discipline like 4 years ago and I didn't like It at all.
I mean, this time I really liked the plot. It was interwined and It included the them of immortality, a bit of crime, hacking, friendship and a really cute love Story with one of the characters from the first part, Ji Han, Just come back from France to Korea. Ji Han and Asin Story literaly made my heart flatter.
It is unusual that I get passionate about something in this way, and it's the first time that I get passionate about a korean series (parte from Color Rush maybe), since I dont like them at all. This time I found It really good.
I didn't like the vague ending, but I like tò imagine that Ji Han and Asin and Hyung Tae and Jay will have a Happy ending together. I liked their friendship group and I liked Ji Han and Ashin as a most of all. I really hope in a sequel, but I'm not fooling myself, I already know I won't get It, since this series Is 4 years old and we don't have any news.

I don't have lot to say, It was short but intense.
We see western actors speaking english and korean, and korean speaking english, because some parts are set in France (if I'm not wrong there are also parts in French).
In the last episode there Is a bit of violence and maybe too much paranormal that ruins the story a bit, but in the complex I found it amazing, don't ask me why.

Phew, just crying and more crying with that blank face of male lead...

Okay, I'll give an entirely honest review based on how I felt after watching this drama... I really dislike the lead couple. Especially Pharm... Such a good character, but this person was just not suitable for this role. On top of that, there was so much crying involved—crying while sleeping, crying while waking up, crying while eating, crying while walking, crying upon seeing the lover, crying upon seeing the mother, crying at deserts... Phew, just crying and more crying with that blank face... I only finished the drama because of one storyline; otherwise, the lead characters weren't worth watching the entire show. The second lead couple was good, and I really enjoyed the character of Manaow and her bonding with theme was also enjoyable. for me its 5/10

Perfect Binge

This is a fun watch.

It is exciting, enjoyable mystery, with some violence ;)

No need to play captain hindsight and point out what everyone should have done or plot holes.

Episodes are only 35mins, so no time for character depth (6 mains + 22 sides) etc.

Quick notes on main characters / acting:

ML = Just a blithering idiot.

FL = She trys, but just a mess.

Da Beom = Steals the show. Depth with limited screen time.

So Mi = Very good, the bitch you love to hate.

Kyung Jun = Very good, the bully who deserves death.

Jung Won = Good enough.

Bottom line, if you liked The Werewolf Game movies / style you like this!

omg

omg the plot was amazing. i didn’t expect this game being planned by the parents!!!! I want to watch a second season to see how this game goes on because she remembers everything! I’m asking myself if the mafia changes each game and if they are playing the same game every time they go back into the game. I’m also questioning how it is possible that the parents got all of the classmates together and unconscious without anyone noticing. Is nobody looking for them? I mean it’s a whole class that is gone?!?!?? I need answers pls hahahha. The last episode changed the whole view on this drama.

p.s. the whole acters were well-casted and low-key very hot :)

A good plot idea but could have been better

My Journey to You is about assassins being sent on a mission, disguising themselves as brides to the Gong residence. It started out interesting but felt kind of draggy and slow mid drama. Also,I do agree with the other reviews that the 2nd ML Gong shangjue and 2nd FL Shang guan qian stole the show and were more intriguing to watch than the main leads. My favourite character, however, is the ML’s sister, Gong Zi Shang. I love watching her funny antics and dance moves trying to hook Jin Fan. The ending was also too abrupt and gave no closure to the audience. Maybe there will be season 2?

Do we need a Season 2?

I liked this one, it was compared to Light On Me and that's one of my fave Korean BL's. In my opinion, it didn't really compare because they are two separate entities but I think it compares in the softness of the series, Granted Color Rush had a little bit more darker theme to it, it definitely gave me that wholesome, spicyless drama we need every so often.

The ending was great though, im not sure it needed a season 2 because of what the topic of S2 is, it didn't end with us questioning if there is a season 2 or not, I haven't seen S2 yet so I can't fully say for sure if season 2 is needed but I don't Imagine because iwasn't rushing to watch S2 because I was happy with how S1 ended
