BEST CHEMISTRY EVER

This truly is one of the best dramas I've ever seen .
The romance between the two leads is so beautifully portrayed.the performance of the two wonderful lead actors truly captivate the audience.their depiction of awkwardness in the beginning of a relationship and how they slowly fall in love with each other is just breathtaking to watch .
The music and the visuals accompanying their story truly takes us on a romantic journey .
On top of the amazing story and performance by the leads. it's such a realistic portrayal of the culture of the Korean society.this is real life .unlike many kdramas which chooses to focus only on the fluffy side ,this drama chose to show the rough real side of society.the workplace harassments that women face and the pressures placed by asian parents .as an asian I can truly relate to the FL's situation .this truly is the story of the FL's growth with the help and support of the ML .
It was a wonderful experience to watch .truly takes u on a journey

Best way to waste 3 hrs of your life.. I did. Would you!?

You have 3 hours time to waste? You want to cringe? You want to get angry and frustrated? You want to prove K-dramas are better than J-dramas in general?

Go ahead and watch this..

Personally I would like to know the director and writer name so that I can avoid crappy shows from then in future. Even YouTube studios got better actors and better scripts and this one is a LA (Live action) of manga.

Now going to clean my brain by watching Mother and crying the frustration out.

DIFFERENT BUT GOOD NONETHELESS

There was an evident difference in the latest season, from the cinematography, music, cgi/vfx and overall direction- and in my opinion thats what made season one so original and just so fun to watch. From the first episode of season 2, it just felt like watching a whole other drama - the charm of the first season wasn't entirely there. S1 had amazing cinematography and OST that added the hype and uniqueness to the project. The monsters were actual PEOPLE in suits and makeup and then altered with vfx whilst S2 was mainly cgi. Not to be dramatic but it felt like the art was gone lol. Season 2 just reminded me of a typical
military action thriller...

The second instalment seemed to go toward a different narrative as we're are no longer in the residential building, we get to meet new characters, some interesting and some... not so much. The crazy doctor and the little girl were the most compelling to the storyline and hopefully we will see more of them in the next season. We see a lot of military involvement and though they add a great perspective to this pandemic, it just got boring having them on my screen most of the time. There were also too many throwaway characters which i personally didn't care for, and instead wished they gave some more screen time to Hyun su (you know, the main character??) It would've been interesting to see his connection with the little girl and his overall struggle to survive in the world as monster who had very human emotions.

The the last few episode is where it seemed to pick up, i had no idea what was going on.. there's people that made into monsters is that how this pandemic started? What was the crazy doctors role in this?? There were a lot of unanswered questions which made me very excited for the S3

The original cast done amazing reprising their role and i cant wait to see more of them (as MAIN character hopefully)

ALSO the amount of bare booty's i've seen in episode 2.... i was flabbergasted.

I want to recommend this to literally everyone.

I got into K-dramas recently, just in the last year or two, and every time I watch one there is always that drama that plays within the drama (a la Business Proposal) that makes fun of dramas like this. All the tropes are there, but the way they magnificently lean into some and break others is masterful. This is definitely a typically structured melodrama, but the earnestness in which it was created shines through, making this one of my all time favorites.

As for rewatch value, I started this drama as 10 episodes had dropped, and in anticipation of the last two, watched and rewatched this for a week.

Cons:
1 - In my opinion, the costuming/fashion choices do not lend to this drama. I don't know whether they had to make this on a budget, or they didn't have many sponsors, but it doesn't strike me as elegant styling. Perhaps there was a reasoning for it, but I found the ML suits to be Ill-fitting or not made from the best materials, they did nothing for his figure. I compare it to Park Yeon-jin's outfits in The Glory. When you look up most dramas, there are blog dedicated to their styling, there isn't much for this drama.

2 - It can sometimes be just a tad cringey. Specially the male lead. But I forgive it, because I find him also to be terribly endearing throughout the drama.

Pros:

1 - Pacing - Because it's only 12 episodes, this flies past. And unlike other dramas, the obstacles shift throughout episodes. There is no handwringing about the same things throughout the story. I really enjoyed that.

2 - Chemistry - the two main leads do an amazing job of carrying the entire show, especially the female lead. She is so outstanding in her performance. She is sincere and funny. Her range is incredible. And the male lead doesn't AT ALL try to skate by on his looks. He doesn't mind looking foolish at times, using his whole face to act (I love Lee Soo Hyuk, and maybe the directors force him to do so, but he always just has a "model face" on.)

3 - Supporting characters - I love almost all of them (except for her father but I shan't spoil it) they were brilliant and almost everyone got their just desserts.

4 - Trope breaking

Damsel in distress - this is my favorite broken trope. She is in distress in the first episode (which is most people's least favorite) but that last act shows her thorough shift. She carries herself so well throughout the rest of drama and it is around her that people gravitate. She is the general and conductor for the revenge, and knows what is happening most of the time.

Amnesia - Not in the "oh I lost my memory" but in the "you've shown me a million times who you are, but I'll conveniently forget every time you give me new information." There is NONE of this. The two leads make the decision early on to completely trust each other. And they absolutely do. It's delicious and SO satisfying to watch as they deftly handle everyone that tries to manipulate them

Terrible in-laws - this is another great broken trope, and the sister-in-law especially (especially in contrast to the ex-SIL). (Just as an aside, her face during the scene at the department store gave me major j-hope vibes, and she was my favorite from then on)

5 - Proper ending - This one is my absolute favorite in terms of endings. It is so simple and perfectly packaged Probably because the story is rather straight-forward but when things get complicated in fantasy-style drams (like The King Eternal Monarch) or difficult relationships (like CLOY), the writers feel their endings cannot be simple. I don't think those two have happy endings at all, they are so depressing to me, but this one was perfect.

I hope everyone watches this drama giving it a bit of grace because clearly they weren't expecting it to do well, but this a sneaky good drama and I wish they had more of a budget to play with. But perhaps we wouldn't have gotten my favorite new actress as a leading lady out of it!

A totally different feel from the original sweet home

I loved sweet home 1 even though the effects could be improved. Sweet home 1 had more original monsters that can describe the greed of each human. Now, the 'monsters ' look more like robots, zombies and what the aliens in an avengers movie would look like. This series was more psychological and not as suspensful and fast as season 1.
This season doesnt seem to really continue from the first except for the girl in season 1 looking for her bro, the firefighter kickass girl from season 1 and the 2 male leads from the first season that had hardly any roles in this season.

Shocked

I gave my rating and I wasnā€™t going to write a review but I am too shocked at some of the low ratings. I gave this 10/10 and itā€™s one of my favorite series. At the time of this writing, I have watched this series 3 times and Iā€™m sure there will be more.

There are many reasons why I love this:
- Visuals - Net is gorgeous and James is beautiful. Put them together and, wow.
- Net and James can both ACT. Net has one of the most expressive faces I have ever seen. I could feel exactly what he was feeling.
- This series hits EVERY EMOTION.
- As the title alludes to, the bedroom scenes are plentiful and steamy. Episode 6 is especially great. Meow.
- The cinematography was outstanding. The beach scene with their silhouettes was absolutely stunning.
- True love triumphs over every obstacle.
- Loyal friends are invaluable.
- The bad guys get what they deserve.
- The music was spot on.

Donā€™t let the reviews dissuade you from watching. Decide for yourself.

Not bad but I expected better

Sweet home was a lot more than I expected, and a lot less at the same time!

I was expecting this to be a character based drama and I got a lot more action than I was expecting, and I loved it! Having said that, there were a lot of things they rushed, forgot or just decided to not talk about.
The story, while a 10/10 is nothing new, good Vs Evil, survival horror... we've seen this before. Human behavior in a fight-or-flight situation, how malicious people can be to survive = nothing new there. Cliffhangers at the end of episodes weren't even that angsty, but there is something about this drama that draws you in, gets you to want to watch the next episode!

I hope they can maintain this level for the second season

Searching Alien

The story is about a woman who made contact with a UFO when She was a child. As She grows up, her eyes can see something that other people can't see, such as aliens. After that, She managed to find the truth about what was happening and found a strange sect where they recognized themself as a part of a church. But actually, it's not because they are doing a ritual that doesn't make sense. That's where Her journey started.

At first, it's gonna be quite slow but when it reaches the end of the episode it's gonna be quite interesting when the truth is being discovered.

A slow burn, second chance romance with business maneuverings as backdrop.

So I finished Here to Heart more than a week ago. This drama had been in my watchlist for some time already, but I finally gave it a go because I just needed more of Zhang Han and Janine Chang after The Four. It's good overall, there were many heart-touching scenes ā€“ between lovers, sisters, parent-child, and friends. It also showed aspects of the corporate world, such as the business competition, maneuvering and strategizing. However, there were really frustrating moments, some parts dragged on more than they should, and there were some annoying characters, but I expected these after reading some reviews (I guess I have prepared myself).

What really shines for me is the cast, especially Zhang Han as Zhan Nan Xian and Janine Chang as Wen Nuan, who brought their characters to life, not to mention they have great chemistry! They have sweet and passionate moments together, but I can also feel the push and pull, and the tension between them. They showed a certain depth in their acting, and they're very good in the emotional and crying scenes.

My other favorite characters are: Zhu Lin Lu (Jing Chao), a friend who truly cares and is there for Wen Nuan during some of the lowest points in her life; Wen Rou (Zhou Qi Qi), a loving and supportive sister, loyal to Wen Nuan and one who would defend her and speak her mind; and Gao Fang (Ji Xiao Bing), Zhan Nan Xian's confidante, one who truly understands him and gives the right advice at the right time.

One character that I dislike is Yi Xin (Jenny Zhang), who is scheming, manipulative, and insecure (in terms of her background and relationship with Nan Xian) even though she is successful and famous. But I must admit, she is not all bad, and she has some moving scenes in the drama, such as those with her father.

The soundtrack is good! While watching this, there were days that I had last song syndrome of the opening and ending songs.

Final Verdict: You need patience to watch this drama, but if you like melodrama and slow burn, second chance romance, with business maneuverings as backdrop, then go watch this.

The ending was not what I wanted it to be but it was fine. I wish they could put more screen time to other supporting role like Prince Lianzuo and Madam Ruo as a prop to them for being helpful. The Main Leads should know their contributions.

The production of this drama.... There was weird sound in the background for first few episodes which thankfully disappeared as the shows went on. There was other review that this drama was filmed in 2019 but only get to be released this year bcs some parts had to be cut. Well it showed.

The romance kind of awkward at the start because FL loved 2ndML but later had to accept she was the only one who fought for the relationship (although 2ndML fools actions to save her didn't really help lmao) whereas ML didn't care about FL and didn't trust her at the start but soon developed feelings for her as she support and help him that showed her to be a kind and smart woman. But he was annoying too when he spent time(not sleep) with other woman after they fought. Their love story wasn't all that to me bcs he still slept with other women (which I get it) when they separated for a while. FL was smart but at the end I think she was more toned down?

The OST part in the intro of the song.... I am not fond of it.

Now for the second couple, which was 2ndML and the ML's younger sister, yunxue. I want them to hv happy ending so bad šŸ˜ they had been together through tough times as friends and yunxue's unwavering support toward 2ndML made him opened his heart to her but it just so sad for 2ndML that their HEA was soooo close but tragedy happened.

Maybe it's just me but it kinda bugged me that FL resting face look so sullen, I would say. Myb bcs of the hairstyle (before she changed it to one like the coin on the forehead) contributed to it.

One of my favorite Time traveling BLs so far

Ok so...
I have pretty much spent this year watching BL's and at last count I have watched roughly 50/60 different series. I know we are only on Episode 10 and still have 2 to go but unless something drastically horrible happens in the last two episodes I don't think it will change my mind about this series.

When you compare this to the many other time travel/parallel universe BL's I think for me it is by far in my top 3. my all time favourite being "until we meet again". I think when watching these kinds of BL's you kind have have to ignore the plot holes otherwise you start to question the entire series. For me this has so far been very interesting to watch and the Acting and chemistry between the Characters is amazing. Especially the younger versions of the leads. Shout out to Tor-Supakorn who in my opinion is the stand out actor in this series.

I get what people are saying about the slow pacing to begin with, especially in the first 2/3 episodes, but for me that was part of the charm of this series. Honestly I am not afraid to say that in episodes 9/10 I was literally a full grown man balling his eyes out at the tv screen. Personally if a series can make you feel real emotions then the writers and actors have done their job to be honest. Anyway I am really looking forward to the final 2 episodes and I am hoping I wont have to come back and downgrade my original scores.

Happy Viewing Everyone

BEST ROMANCE DRAMA BY FAR.

I don't know how else to describe this drama other than the fact that this is a MASTERPIECE.

My Dearest is simply not as hyped up as it needs to be. "One of the best historical kdramas, best 2023 historical kdrama", guys this is THE drama for me, NOT just in 2023, and not enough words can express how much I love this kdrama. I get that this is a historical kdrama so it's not really a lot of people's thing, but coming from someone who's also not a typical fan of watching historical kdramas (like seriously given the option I would choose a modern drama over historical 9/10 times, usually because I'm not a fan of political/historical stuff and seeing historical costumes) this is an absolute must watch. From the scenery, the story, the acting, the character themselves, to the romance, everything was so perfect to me. Emphasis on 'to me', because I know some people were disappointed with Part 2.

Let's start off with the storyline. For those of you who may not know, the drama's premise is based on Gone With the Wind, Yoo Gil Chae being Scarlett O'Hara and Lee Jang Hyun being Rhett Butler. If you know GWTW, trust me when I say this has a much more satisfying plotline, and while the characters start off acting exactly the same, the character development is outstanding and the latter half of the drama is nothing like the original movie/novel it is based off of. For those that don't know GWTW and decided to search it up, this is a lot less icky since in the original Scarlett is in love with her cousin and they even kiss once - bleh. My Dearest takes place in the 1600s and while I was a little confused with all the history stuff in the beginning, I still understood what was happening for the most part. Basically, the Qing Dynasty is invading the Joseon Dynasty because the Qing are at war with the Ming, and Joseon has friendly relations with the Ming. To sever these relations, the Qing invade Joseon to have an upper hand on the Ming. Anyways, if you're looking for a drama with interesting MCs, friendship, romance, backstabbers, and an interesting storyline, this is the one!! My credentials: Some of my top dramas are Move to Heaven, 2521, Law School, Youth of May, A Time Called You, Penthouse (mostly szn 1), Alchemy of Souls, Our Beloved Summer, and All of Us Are Dead, so if we have the same taste, maybe give this one a shot!

Now down to the actual review part (spoilers!!)

Part 1 - Characters:
Gil Chae. Rich Gil Chae, poor Gil Chae, beautiful Gil Chae, ugly Gil Chae. From an immature, spoiled noblewoman to a selfless and courageous fighter within a few episodes. Her character development was one of my favourite things in this drama. The way she was forced to grow up quickly to protect her friends and family was heartbreaking to watch, and Ahn Eun Jin literally killed this role. The way GC had such modern perspectives in a historical setting was very refreshing and not enough people thought the way she did! The way she reassures Eun Nae that it's not her fault she was almost assaulted by an invader. To be honest their entire friendship with each other and their maids was so heartwarming. The way these women care and look out for each other is not something we see enough in dramas these days.

Jang Hyun. "Do you hear it? It's the sound of the flowers blooming." This line changed lives. The most romantic line I have ever heard come out of someone's mouth. The way Lee Jang Hyun is the STANDARD of standards is something that needs to be studied. He took green flag to the top of the flag pole and kdrama men are fighting for their lives to reach him. I completely understand why people say Namgoong Min is an incredible actor. This was my first time watching one of his roles and I was shell-shocked, in awe of this man's acting. The way his eyes speak volumes of his emotions is insane. He went from being a selfish playboy who never wanted to get married, to the most caring man who only wanted to keep GC safe and would marry her if she allowed it. From someone who didn't even have the word loyalty in his dictionary and couldn't write a single word about it on an exam, to someone who had the most unwavering loyalty to GC during the most difficult times. Part 1 was truly engaging, especially with JH's fight scenes that were very well directed. I just love when men are smart and useful, and that is exactly what JH is throughout this entire drama.

Eun Nae. She is simply so pure and innocent and you can't help but feel bad for her. Growing up in a society of very one track minded women, telling everyone moments before disaster strikes that if you're so much as even touched by an invader your chastity is ruined and you become a disgrace to society (because that's what's important apparently). I can't believe this is truly how people thought back then when this happened, it's absolutely heartbreaking that they place 'chastity' over women's' lives. EN was such a good friend to GC and knew her so well, and didn't even mind it when GC was in love with Yeon Jun (but of course it wasn't true love). I'm so glad that in this version GC never sabotaged EN for YJ's love, and simply chose methods that involved attempting to seduce him lol. She knew from the start where GC's heart was and she was definitely the captain of this ship. bless her. She even supported GC on running away with JH if it would make her happy.

Yeon Jun. What interesting words to describe trash. This man deserved none of these women's love. He was a fool for wanting to protect a King that ran away without even knowing how to fight, it was so pathetic. He definitely was stringing GC along when he knew he would never actually get with her because she didn't fit the typical wife standards. I don't know what EN sees in him and she deserves 100000 times better.

Ryang Eum. What a controversial character!! Although I know we all hate him for what he did, let's face it, it was necessary to continue the story. Dude gave us part 2. I hate YJ more than RE. While RE was indeed selfish and wanted JH to himself while knowing JH would never reciprocate his feelings, let's be sooo for real we would've done the same for JH lol.

Part 1 - Storyline:

To those who thought the drama was boring in the first few episodes, it was necessary to depict the difference in quality of life before, during, and after the Qing invasion. The way the setting went from bright, colourful, and lighthearted scenes of noblewomen only worrying about whether they'll get married or not, to dark, cold, and violent tragedies was a thrilling transition. Again, those fight scenes with JH were one of the more interesting things in Part 1 and it was so cool see JH's swordsmanship. The constant bickering and teasing of our MCs was so funny and kept things hopeful even when disaster strikes. The way they kept on reuniting whether they both knew it or not, was so defining of them as soulmates. The whole invasion taking place was what made it thrilling, worried about what other tragedies would befall our main characters.

After the invasion ended we were again given GC and JH obstacles, with GC not being over YJ and basically telling JH to leave with the Crown Prince. While I want to say it was dumb for her not to have moved on from someone who shows no intentions of being with her, I completely understand it because he was who she grew up admiring for the longest time. YJ is someone she knows while JH is someone who came into her life a few months ago, how scary it would be to trust and love someone she didn't fully know yet? She had to be given time to grow and understand her feelings. In that time GC only grew even further and proved herself to be a savvy independent businesswoman who knew how to make money without a man having to help her.

No matter what people say, she WAITED for JH and I know RE misunderstood that she was engaged but she only agreed after thinking JH was dead because she wanted a better life for her family (especially cause YJ that hoe went off to help the King and left EN to fend for herself), my girl had MOUTHS TO FEED. Anyways, their reunion in Pt. 1 was short-lived but gave us so many romantic scenes. What do you mean JH bought her dozens of floral shoes, what do you mean he asked her to run away with him, what do you MEAN he said he'd become her servant and not just her husband??? Her fiancƩe knew what he was doing using her dad to get her to stay with him, because deep down he knew her family was the only reason she agreed to marry him and it wasn't because she ever fell in love with him, not once. I can't even remember the asshole's name while writing this. Won Moo. That bitch. Him and YJ fall into the same category - GARBAGEE.

The ending of Pt. 1 brought me to tears, literally nonstop waterfalls, and I never wanted a happy ending for two characters more than for GC and JH. I actually cried in almost every episode here whether it was getting emotional over GC's selflessness, JH's disappointment in winning over GC, or their heartbreaking departures from each other. The most enticing Part 1 to a drama and I will never forget it.

Part 2 - Storyline:

GC and JH apart yet again, and this time not just a few months but a few years. GC is married, JH has a literal princess after him, possibility of the couple getting together?? (never zero!). JH once again proving how smart he is by advising the Crown Prince on how to deal with the Qing's demands. Also, still have to give credit to RE for pushing JH to save the Joseon captives, while he's not by his side in the first half, JH still held up on his end. Although I do think this is something JH would have done regardless. At the end of the day, he is simply someone who deeply cares even when he says he doesn't. And dare I say RE character redemption for telling GC's family about her disappearance. But of course her husband assumes the worst instead (do I hear... insecure jerk!?). Not even joking, him giving up her bail money to those thieves, just because he heard she was sold already is a whole other level of dickhead men in kdramas.

GC truly had it hard in life, and somehow continued to have it hard in Pt. 2. This girl has been through so much like please give her a break. The way she found a way out of every horrible situation she had been in when she had me so worried for her, and how she refused to seek JH's help because she was ashamed of leaving him. The scene where he sees her at the stand about to be sold was so heart wrenching. The way he let her go thinking she'd live her best life even without him and she ended up where he never thought she would. Their love for each other after so many years is what kept me going and you can see it in the way they look at each other. Gag Hwa (the princess) needed to leave them alone omg. But honestly, the GH storyline was so interesting to me, the way they made her slightly similar to GC in the sense of them both not following typical standards for how they should act as women. But you could tell how different she was with the way she thought about people (like the captives). In a way I think she was very similar to JH in Pt. 1, that same type of selfishness and the pride she carried herself with. But JH changed himself for the better. I wanna say what she did to GC only drew the two closer together for the better. JH was so hilarious for pretending to be sick for that long.

One thing I admired is that GC had her own morals and values that she always followed, nothing happened between her and JH until she got an explanation from her husband. Too bad it wasn't an explanation she got but the biggest betrayal. I can't believe that man went and got remarried, while leaving his wife he claimed to care about to die. The thing that had me most upset was the way people were treating her after she was literally kidnapped. The way her own sister was worried she was r**** not because she cared about her but because of their reputation, and the way her own father tried to kill her as he thought it was the only way she could live with herself. The only one who truly cared about her wellbeing back at home was EN. The was exactly what she needed to realize though for her to finally go to JH. Even her own family could not accept her, so she could go to the one who accepted her no matter what, after leaving him once before because of her family. Seriously guys the scene makes me tear up just thinking about it. His acceptance of what she had been through was so beautiful and she finally found a place of comfort and safety she had always longed for. I know some people were debating whether or not she was assaulted but in truth it didn't matter - what mattered was JH didn't care about any of that stuff, she was it for him. We again got to witness the constant pushing and pulling, the distance and the longing, it made my heart feel emotions I've never felt before. It might've been frustrating for some people, but for me, it was the best part of this entire drama. It's the buildup of their romance that's so grand and obvious until they finally collide - what the universe always meant for.

Then tragedy strikes again - surprised, not really. Basically people die and JH wasn't there to save them - oh no they have to follow history, it's fine, we got an episode and a half of peace, I'm not complaining. I truly only cared about GC and JH's ending. All I have to say is, King was so worried about his position for what, bro had to give it up one day.. also that concubine of his? Maddening, and I felt so bad for the Crown Prince and Princess. Also, GH letting go of JH is totally mirroring JH letting go of GC, although it was her threatening him with a knife before she did that lol. The captives finally go free - yay! Honourable mention for Jong Jong and Gu Jam. Then the King's people is sent to kill all the captives, seriously this guy is something else. GC was absolutely spot on about YJ though, since Pt. 1 she said she admired him for never changing and always following his own set of rules, and that's exactly what he did. He was just like everyone else and believed women should kill themselves than continue living if they were touched by invaders, even failed to accept his own wife who has done nothing but support him and she was only grabbed by her wrists. Then goes onto almost kill JH (side note, glad JH's dad died cause he was another disappointing character). Then of course JH nearly dies YET AGAIN. I know some people found the two times memory loss thing ridiculous but lowkey? I'm not sure if it was intentional bc I heard they might've changed the ending for the viewers. But you know how RE told GC the first time JH lost his memory that he thought JH would remember her of all people, and that's exactly what he did the second time. The only thing he remembered was literally only her. Heartbreaking, but beautiful, their reunion (so many reunions) on the beach was gorgeous and I'm just so glad they got the happy ending they deserve. I think his memory loss also caused him to forget RE in that mental hospital cell though poor guy.

Their love story spanned years, and that's one of my favourite things. Their feelings remained the same throughout everything and developed the strongest love I've ever seen, overcoming the greatest obstacles ever to be together. I know since this is a historical kdrama revolving around war and everything, so obviously there are more extremities on what they sacrifice for each other but that's exactly what tugged on my heart strings this entire drama. I don't really get the people saying Pt. 2 wasn't as good, but it may also be that I binged Pt. 1 and 2 while only waiting for the last 2 episodes. While obviously not as great as Pt. 1, Pt. 2 did not fall short of my expectations and I take noo criticism on this lol. People have not seen a GREEN flag until they've seen JH. Every single actor in this drama really sealed the deal, no one was lacking and their delivery for everything was perfect and met my expectations for what people were saying as a great drama. Truly the best drama I have seen by far. IT'S SO DEAR TO ME no one understands!!!

Music:

Lastly, the music. The soundtrack has never left my mind since I completed this drama. I listen to it every night before I fall asleep. With My Heart was beautiful, sang by both Kai and Ahn Eun Jin. My other favourites are The Painted on The Moonlight, and My Star. But my true favourite was definitely the instrumentals, it's etched into my brain - Fate, My Dearest, Lyrical, and With My Heart instrumental.

100% recommend.

This drama had me in a choke hold. I laughed, I sobbed, my heart broke and mended. It was so good.

Iā€™ve been in a K-Drama slump for a while, and chose to watch this. 100% recommend. I loved it so much. I now have a drama hangover and donā€™t know what to do next. This is definitely one I will rewatch in the future. One of the best drama Iā€™ve see in a while.

The acting, the chemistry, the side characters, the production, the music, and the story. It was just perfection.

I usually donā€™t write reviews, but this drama is review worthy!

Nothing special.

The investigation and the actors were the most enjoyable part but the romance was nothing special. I did not feel chemistry between the 2 leads, their romance was weak. The best performance was the main villain, Jeong Hyeon Su and the support lead, Ji Hae. I wish she had more screen time and a better storyline, I wanted to see more of her.

There were things that were left unconclusive unfortunately and some things that dragged on way too long. Ji Chang Wook was great but I did not really believe that he was head over heals for Bong-Hui. The actress is very talented but I just did not really feel any chemistry with JCW. They were doing their best but sometimes it just doesnā€™t work out! I just finished it because I donā€™t like leaving things, but probably I will not watch this again.
