The first episode had some potential to keep me going. Weird and unusual moments, embarrassing moments, romantic moments, depressing moments, the story kept going on and on and every situation is so exciting to watch. As it progressed, it became more hilarious, more exciting on romance, and more tense (in some parts). You will jump and scream from romantic excitement because of the couples AHHH! I got to admit that in the last 2-3 episodes, just a pinch of scenarios didn't really rouse me but most parts did really made me laugh and excited. This is perfect for most of you (depends on your taste) especially for me since I get stressed most of the time, this is my stress reliever and you can't just watch this in the middle of the night because you might wake your whole family from laughing too hard (LOL!). Definitely a great light drama and it deserves more recognition indeed.
The cast did an amazing job as always. But the STAR of this drama is SOL! YES! GIVE HER AN AWARD! I got to admit Jun Ki's character was annoying to me during the start of the drama but as it progressed, his character became likable to me and I feel thankful for that. Other than that, the lead and supporting actors/actresses did a superb job on their acting. The chemistry of the couples is also amazing! And I love the bromance too. <3
I would REWATCH this in times of depression, anxiety and stress! The OST is amazing and I can't stop listening to it.
This is one of the dramas where you will feel like you are forgetting everything that surrounds you when you're watching this. For those who haven't watch this, PLEASE! WATCH THIS. THIS IS REALLY GOOD!
(SEASON 2 PLEASE!) T-T

I won't go for a long review, so here goes-
- The comedy element, in this drama, is definitely at its best. I mean, is there any other drama where we have seen a girl with beard issues? I wouldn't think so. (If there is though, do tell me!). And that's just one of the many hilarious things that never failed to make the viewers laugh.
- Aside from the comedy, the drama also had its emotional moments. Although they were never so many that I'd call this an emotional drama. But it certainly managed to make the viewers go from rotfl-ing to "awwww"
- Romance factor was also nicely done. This drama is one of the very good examples of rom-com. Although, if I were being honest, I'd say that the comedy surpassed the romance. But it never overshadowed the romance. The pairings were fun to watch.
- Same goes for all the main six characters. All were fun to watch. But if I had to choose a favorite, it would be Joon Ki. I loved him because he was hilarious, but I adored him because of his caring side. All those scenes where he was trying to cheer up Seo Jin were so so cute!
- And how can we not talk about Sol? That baby was the show-stealer! She was simply too adorable.
- One flaw though, that I just have to mention is Yoon Ah 's character. I felt like her character was simply too one dimensional. I mean, don't get me wrong, I liked her character at first. But while all the other characters had some unique attribute that made them appeal to the viewers, it's like all Yoon Ah had going for her was the fact that she was a single mom. But after they stopped focusing on the single mom thing, it's like her character became somewhat...dull. That's one of the things I wish they had done better.
That's about it for the review! This is a wonderful drama and I really hope you give it a chance.
Happy Watching!!

I liked the beginning of the show and I really liked the last couple of episodes, but I actually struggled to push through the middle part. Somewhere around 11- 16 episodes, I put the drama on hold. There just weren't enough events to really push the story forward and the funny moments weren't enough to keep me going. I didn't really feel like I need to know what is going to happen next.
I don't know why, but I wasn't a fan of the way how Dong Gu's character was written. I liked how he was supposed to be the counter balance for the happy-go-lucky Joon Ki and Doo Shik in the first couple of episodes, but I didn't like him being childish and petty around Yoon An later on. I also wasn't particularly fond of the love triangle in this show. Even though I can't deny that Waikiki has a lot of really funny moments, I found the humor to be a bit too slapstick for my taste. The bodily function humor and the rivalry between the two male leads just wasn't my cup of tea.

I'm going to keep this too the point as much as possible.
Drama in a word: Hilarious
Drama's genre: Sitcom, COM- ROM (comedy supported BY romance and not the other way around )
When to watch : After too many angsty dramas or a heartbreak
When not to watch: Absolutely not at night, your laughter will wake the neighboorhood
Story: Satirical approach to society's problems
Pacing: Basically a collection of mini stories and scenarios; pacing not an issue
Appeal to romance addicts: Enough to keep you here if you are one
Cast and acting: Undeniable, epitome of perfection, zero complains
Bromance: Yes, yes and yes
Cringe vs cute: Slightly cringey intially, funny going on
Humor type: Toilet level humor that grows on you for no reason; not repititive at all
Cinematography: Use of filter which softens the tones, sets light mood for drama
General viewer compatibility: 100%; an all audience drama
Should you watch: HELL YES

Reading the other reviews I was really looking forward to this one, but it does not seem to live up to the hype. Someone said that it's as good of a sitcom as Friends, but this is definitively not the case. The show is certainly funny & cute, albeit it has a lot of boring moments, especially in the early episodes. There were a few baby gags, but having seen the american Tv show "Raising Hope" I was not overly impressed. There was a lot of for the lack of a better word "anime" humor, you know the kind of humor where some event repeats 3-5 times during an episode with minor changes, when repetition is used as a tool for extra comedic effect, I'm on the fence whether it was good or not. I liked all the characters, the furry girl was especially awesome. There were some unnecessary kdrama cliches that shouldn't have been required in this genre, such as Sol's father appearing in the last episode, or Yuna having a second love interest for that "sweet" triangle......Despite all this I had a pleasant time, but I will probably not watch it again, nor am I interested in season 2, because as usual over half of the cast is changed ..
People learning Korean should watch this show, because the pronunciation of this group of actors seems to be unusually easy to understand.

What made me watch this drama? Lee Yi Kyung's role in Go Back Couple and the teasers, of course!
The story for me was unique to me as I don't watch a lot of dramas that are family and friends orientated. From start to finish I was either grinning like an idiot or crying from too much laughing! I absolutely loved that this drama showed characters that were living a "normal" life rather than the overdone CEO/rich guy they usually do. It was refreshing to see each character's struggles whilst trying to better themselves in both their professional and personal lives. The only thing that was a little disappointing and trust me, it hurts me to even type this but the lack of background information regarding Yoon Ah's life before she met the guys and I wish they also explored and confirmed the third (potential) couple as for me it was VERY unclear and I was so shipping them like nobody's business. Never been so happy for a drama to get an extension because I'm always wary of k-drama endings thinking it would be rushed but in my honest opinion I don't think it was.
The chemistry between the entire cast - Baby Sol, the cutie included - was off the chart! I think everyone worked extremely well.
I downloaded each OST as soon as I could track it down on Spotify and listened to them on a loop for hours, so I guess you could tell I love it! Okay NOW I WILL be biased and say you'll love Lee Yi Kyung's character, no lie.
Rewatch? Honestly I rewatched particular episodes when the drama was airing and not once was I ever bored even after watching it 5 times.
Recommendation? If you're in dire need of some laughter I highly recommend Waikiki because laughter really is the best medicine. You will forget whatever was troubling you for at least an hour. This drama has made me laugh and cry to no end, great for those who love romcom although for me it is more comedy - at least the first half of the drama.
I hope you enjoy this drama as much as I have and will continue to do so in the future. :-) Happy watching.

This is a dumb drama. Outlandish plotlines, ridiculous characters, an over-the-top story that has you constantly rolling your eyes and face desking at the mind-numbing stupidity. This is also 100% on purpose and the main reason you would watch this drama in the first place. You're meant to laugh at the utter stupidity of the whole thing, the constant employment of 'dumb' humor. And maybe feel a little moved by the genuine heart peeking through the layers of goofy along the way.
I wouldn't personally watch this again, because these kinds of dramas just aren't my thing, but I did get a lot of enjoyment out of it watching it once, and I can see why other people would really love it.
It's a dumb drama with a lot of heart, and if that's something you enjoy, then you will definitely enjoy this drama.

It is a comedy - and it made me laugh more than anything else have done for say the last 10+ years, or even as long as I can remember. I am sure its the same for many of you too. This is easily the funniest comedy ever made, worldwide. Nothing tops this.
And for that only reason, this is a 10/10.
Last episode wrapped up everything just fine in my opinion.
There are also some deep messages about society problems. Romance is cute, music is good, a bunch of heartwarming moments as well.
The person writing the jokes/scenarios is a Korean national comedy treasure.
I can re-watch this when I'm down, stressed or anxious, for the rest of my life. This drama IS happiness.

I'm sorry i'm going to be the black sheepand this teaches me that i shouldn't take the high rate or the very positive reviews for granted
i didn't enjoy much
the story is so normal and shallow
even the comic in it ..
the exaggeration of trying to be more comedy gave an opposite result in my opinion
many times it turned to be silly and didn't make me laugh
starting from ep. 12 it began to be very slow and draggy with repeated events
the most character i liked in this drama was (Son seung won) i loved him so, he was soooooo CUTE <3 ^_^
and i wished the writer towards the end focused more on his story with (lee joo woo)
because they already had much space to use on their story
but they focused more on the repeated comic scenes
i liked their scenes together so much
i disliked so much the character of (jung in sun)
it was weak, clumsy, stupid and lukewarm with no soul
i've to admit that ep. 16 was hilarious
specially the scene when they wear short pants, i laughed till my tears fall OMG :"D
this drama for me is a once watch drama
not a rich one which i can keep to re-watch many times

Humor was hit or miss
Right off the bat, I knew it wasn't my type of humor. It's a little like Melting Me Softly or After School: Lucky or Not where the humor is just kind of bizarre and illogical — the type of "omfg lolzor so randoM!!" type of humor that I liked in middle school. Even with this being said though, there were SOME moments that still made me laugh out loud.Because of the above, I felt like the plot was just kind of boring to me because it felt like there wasn't really anything at stake.
The main couple was the one I was least interested in out of the three, and it felt like the main two characters (and the random second lead) had no personality. I loved Seo-jin and Joon-ki att first — but after she started liking him, all the banter and clashing that defined their relationship went out the window, and Seo-jin's say-it-like-it-is personality did a complete 180. In the end, Du-shik and Soo-ah (who I disliked at the start) became my favorite two characters.
