An interesting drama nugget that somehow missed the flash&clapping in 2014. This Jdrama is about two women who age wise are on opposite ends of a pencil YET they both are facing the same career challenges. This drama depicts the untidy, good old boys club of the legal world. These two women are so opposite in style, demeanor,& tactics you might expect nastiness however it's the stark differences is what grows both of them, personally & professionally. This drama is short with neat storyline's and interesting side characters. There is no romance or silliness, just two women making it in the business world and not killing each other over a man or inheritance. For those who love DtrX series, I believe this should be on your PTW list - If you are looking for something that has strong, intelligent females, modern time period, no romance-silliness, give this watch, you might enjoy.

Story was simple, rich rural girl yearns to be in urban high-life scene & man yet shuns all the insincerity of the upper-class. This Tdrama was OK, moderate to high cheesiness of acting and silly antics which is common in Tdrama world. The redeeming portion of the entire drama was the onscreen chemistry between the two leads which was refreshing and heartfelt which is not always common in the drama world while the second pairing was distant and possessed NO chemistry! As for music & re-watch values - *blerg*. The OST is beyond cheesy and bothersome kitschy. The second most memorable role was the pet pig who was always dressed up - and not on a plate. Somehow the show entertained and that's why we watch drama. Would I re-watch? Not in my plans, enough pig farmer & pretty boy for awhile...

Began this drama post fellow MDL'er's listing. Since I am NOT a sports enthusiasts this put me off YET the storyline and the ever manly KT (Halu) kept me coming back for more. The hockey part of the drama served as the analogy of life and the complications of friendships & love. The entire cast was awesome depicting their roles, especially chemistry of leads was always set on simmer - nice. The story, not new just a well portrayal of growth- boys to men & girl to woman through angst, love, pain, and forgiveness. The music: QUEEN need I say more! Queen music was perfect for this drama, by aligning to the two leads personalities. Watch again? Hummmmmmmmmm so much drama to see, but KT is a draw! Caution, the music will brain worm you - I was born to love you!

This popped on my Netflix "you would like queue" so I gave a try. Dang a winner if you like ronin-samurai flicks with lots of killing bad guys, done well. The age old story of small town overrun with gangs killing & extorting locals for kicks and cash. Takeshi directed this with humor, japanese philosophy, and lots of flair. The most touching scene is around the two geishas and how they came into the geisha world, especially since one of them is her brother. Two scenes are ultra worthy of your time 1. Geisha backstory flashback 2. Final scene - yep and it works! All the actors nailed their roles especially Zatoichi - blind masseuse ( need to see more of this actor). Give this a try - samurai, geishas, yakuza, blood, and awesome sword play... Neatly finished with a ending number to make your smile.

Did it again, another 45'er and DINGED again. The story is not new commoner vs aristocracy, role swap, deadly handsome male (YB) &second lead accompanied with by a SILLY female lead who battles, fall in love, family grief - blah, blah... I award this lead YB, the" patience award" marrying the most childish, silly and whinny wife in drama world. She was the most skin scratching, irritating lead I've seen in drama world in awhile surrounded by most handsome men - silly girl.
Loved the costumes and scenery the most. This drama was well done for a Cdrama ( which can sometimes be cheesy).
Most stupid ending. Why? Get to marry & sleep with Wallace, wedding nite, you leave to wander for awhile - and tell him via a note???? Really? Tell him you don't know when you will be back, but if he sleeps with another she will neuter him? REALLY? Handsome is laying next to you and get out to wander like a pauper - you silly girl. Oh well, its over and now I'm trying to deprogram my brain from any silly girl scenes. Watch at your own risk...

IOTL began complicated and ended complicated - masterful! The writer and PD executed a well written drama setting the bar high for quality mature drama. Been a fan of this drama since day one with the candor and chemistry of the leads &entire cast for giving us an unapologetic view of the effects of mental illness, abuse, betrayal and the complicated storms they insert in the lives of many. SIS & GHJ chemistry was magical (as usual she has a great way of pulling the best of her male leads)! The entire phenomenally talented cast was instrumental in the telling of this intricate storyline of damaged people trying to make sense of life in a perfect facade world. Mental illness, abuse, betrayal, sex, love, family and work-life are the key points in this drama, thus if you are looking for a fuzzy, candy drama this is not for you. If you are looking for a drama that realistically depicts flawed people, FAB OST, great acting, tears, and lots of laughs this drama is for you! Would I re-watch? YES!

Dated yet highly relevant drama of work - life, family & love. Acting was good, chemistry on the mark (sizzle was felt with boss paring not hubby paring). The most important was the storyline of work, vicious workplace politics, male-female roles, maturity and balance. Ep 18-29 felt draggy thus some speed watching. Overall a solid drama with solid actors depicting a fairly accurate pic of corporate life and work-family life balancing act.

Had fun riding the Gunnie & Mi roller coaster to love. This version of the Taiwanese drama was hands down grossly improved by the actors & onscreen chemistry. The humor, chemistry and story made this an easy to get hooked on and felt right for end of summer drama. Did the storyline change from the Tw version - not much... the comedy portions were endearing to the plot and not overplayed. For me the soundtrack was mesmerizing and well placed throughout the drama. The most poignant track, were the touching instrumentals played at heartfelt moments serving to heighten the moments at hand. The ending was nicely summed up and overall was the right length - no more -no less. Interesting that the two end of summer dramas are dealing with mental & family issues - life goes on. As a final note, the two leads looked like they had fun doing this drama, resulting in magnetic chemistry heartfelt through the screen, coupled with the remaining cast who just made you smile every episode. Well done and lots of HAMO HAMO!

After seeing many of my fellow MDL checking this lakorn, I decide to dive in. If you have a sister or twin you REALLY like or not like this series is for you. You can speed watch, since the prologs due a fine job of recapping prev eps.
Summary: Evil lost sister + innocent sister + rich naive man + lots of B-slapping, killing, cons and lies + lots of snarky evil grins& tears + some cheesy acting =perfect lakorn petri dish.

Where to start... Arikoto historical fiction of Japan shoguns 16-17thcentry. This 10eps drama is hands down one of the most touching, beautiful, and well performed dramas watched in a long time. The story is total reversal of roles: men as concubines, female shoguns, and women as men to survive the tragedy beset the nation. The lead who played Arikoto was graceful, masculine, and humble in his portrayal of complex priest turned shoguns conscience. The stand-out was the costumes and body language worn by all players - loved watching Arikotos sublime hands. Music was appropriate and synced with each episode. Just be prepared, for ep10 - get some tissues ready. Would I watch again? Maybe, only due to too many that I must watch...

Finally finished this series and well worth the wait. This jdrama is about a time travelled female ninja partnered with granny, teacher, thief & cross dressing bar keep to fight the fights the police ignore. Each episode deals with the ugly side of human nature capitalizing on the glorious 7 sins, all the while Sana coming to grip with new existence in the modern world with humans still as ugly as in her original era. If you like jdrama, ninjas, no romance, and solid human interest, this one is for you. You felt good knowing the really evil folks get cans of whoop a%* from a female warrior & grandma. Hope they make Tenchu 2.

3M - S2 is the Best of 3M series for 3 reasons.
1 - story is uncomplicated yet enough twists, slaps and written to keep you watching
2 - the two leads chemistry was felt with the male lead - Chakrit being my main rationale for watching. He's got smexy down! Worth the watch for his smile...
3 - it's visually an awesome setting -beaches, water, Chakrit, boats, gambling, bad guy Vs guy, & non-glam attire for a lakorn.

Point that annoyed: Margie role was "shrewish" for interacting with a mature man, and not an adult mindset. To the point, she was like a rebellious loud mouth child talking to other kids. Sorry girlie, you are dealing with a man now...

This lakorn will get you hooked on the many waiting to be watched.... get ready to swoon.

Just found this gem of a drama and only 16eps. KMM and the cast of characters will make you cry, laugh, and reflect on the meaning of family & families. Story is not new, but the writers and director did an great job retelling the std evil greedy family story with great dialog, great casting and best-fitting music. This story-line can get skipped around after you get the first 3eps down - while 14-16eps are not skippers and a few tissues might be needed. This drama is well-done and fun to watch, and it leaves a warm spot in your heart. Check this one out if you are just looking for heartwarming, family, comedy, and ultra-lite romance.

Just right on the episodes, thank goodness! This drama followed the footsteps of fantasy /rom of MS yet with a more backstories & younger actors. The chemistry between leads was heartfelt (often missed in kdrama land). The lead female did well portraying two personalities on screen effectively. While the male lead was just cute to watch growing up. The side stories sometimes were like gnats flying around fruit yet they filled space & storyline. The last two eps felt rushed with a glut of explaining the real purpose of the 100 yr love, and curse of destiny. Lots of holes in the story yet we got a nice soft landing on this drama. This was easy to watch & re-watch if you keep your expectations in check and want a story with a soft-predictable landing.

A story of loss, confidence, and fate. This story is well written and delivered by two actors who perform well in their roles. Story is tightly written not giving any hints until the very end while the first & second half display an girl in pain resulting in her over use of control and physical abuse to others & self. The boy is just another lost young man who gets ignited into life by this explosive girl who he grows to love. The final half is really the beginning for both characters, allowing fate to work its magic. Would I watch again? too many to see!
