CrescentMoon -- No, it won't be if it's Chinese; there will be NO BL from China anymore since they brought in their new 'decency laws'. The best you can hope for is 'intense' bromance.
The transformation in Falling for Innocence was awe inspiring! When I think of JKH's portrayal here, I can't even…
I agree with everything you've said - I don't honestly don't think there's any comparison at all. It was just such a wonderful and believable portrayal.
This was THE very first drama I watched, then Kill Me, Heal Me. I think that's another reason why I love it so much. Until then I'd been watching animes and reading mangas (my daughter started my addiction there), but then I happened on this on Netflix and then the addiction to dramas started. lol! I've never really got over it, not that I want to - I even progressed to Kpop!
I've almost worn the dvd of FfI out as i've watched it so often. :)
He was brilliant in Cruel City, but my most favourite role of his was Falling in Innocence - I LOVED it so much; I loathed his 'bad guy' in the beginning and then he changed into someone SO adorable......I rewatch it often and even begged my husband to buy me the (English subbed) dvd!
I really wasn't sure about this - I wasn't sure they could pull off the manga. But the trailer makes a mockery of that doubt and I now can't wait for it!
We, Filipinos tend to speak English and our language which is Tagalog simultaneously. If you will try to watch…
I've seen all their movies together - they're my favourites of all their roles. I've seen others they've done with other actors, but there's just a little bit of magic when they work together that I love seeing. I actually hoped they were a couple when I saw It Takes a Man and a Woman and then followed it back to the first movie, but was just as happy to hear they're very close friends instead. :)
It seem he won't. And he also didn't in The King's Woman. Now I wonder if he ever gets the girl in any drama/movie?
I have to admit - I zipped through all his work I could find online before I replied here and no, not yet. Admittedly only cursory viewing, but he's not got the girl once.
Admittedly he's not always up for the girl (such as with O2O) but when he is he's always left out in the cold. Poor guy; and he's so good as well - he really has to be the main lead for the girl soon, surely? Especially with Dilraba, apparently he's NEVER been her OTP in ANY dramas he's been in with her.
I understand the blocks in their relationship - basically yes, his wife was in their daughter's body.... but it WAS their daughter's BODY; genetically it was wrong on a lot of levels. Therefore there was no way for them to be physically together as a couple.
However, I think Heisuke should've been honest and let Naoko move on after he told her that there was no possible way for them to be together as a couple. The way he ended up doing it was hurtful and wrong.
As to those saying Naoko cheated on Heisuke, I don't agree - she was stuck in her daughter's body and there was no way for them to be a happy couple because, to everyone who knew them, he would've been seen to be having a relationship with his biological daughter - still taboo just about everywhere and for very good reasons.
Hey Jake, that's what I was told by a Chinese pal - the censors were responding to accusations that too many…
Oh absolutely - the music, the story, the chenistry between the leads.....PERFECTION. The new one of series 2, Right or Wrong, is also really, really good. A lot of affection, touching, hugging - not a lot of passion. But it was still good as a lot of couples are very touchy feely (like me and my husband) and not 24/7 passion.
Just LOVE those stories - though, I didn't really My Hero; it was just a bit 'm'eh' for me. :)

These are all just my opinions though..... :)
