I absolutely love Japanese comedies--it's that offbeat humor that no other country can match. River's Edge Okawabata Tanteisha and Shinigami-kun aren't labeled as comedies on MDL, but they're both excellent examples of how Japan blends low-key humor with more serious elements.

And I agree with others re: Don Quixote, Meitantei no Okite, Jikan Keisatsu and Mahoro Ekimae Bangaichi. I loved those, along with alot of the ones listed in the article.

Off to a nice start. Hope the writers keep the pace up and give Lee Chun Hee more airtime or write his role to be more solid. Right now it just seems as if his character was an added afterthought. And that chair scene in the classroom with Ji An had me rolling (no pun intended) with laughter! Wasn't expecting that.

Cute drama, but a little corny. It's only 5 episodes at about 20 minutes each, so it's great if you just want a fun, light-hearted watch. The only peeve is that at the time of writing this, it's difficult to find streaming english subs for the 5th episode. But really not that big of a deal--I was able to figure out the gist of it, even with my limited Korean.

Gotta say that this drama is really fantastic. From a badass wandering swordsman to a hardworking humble chef....Sato is doing a great job with the role of Atsuzo.

Sorry to see this drama end! I enjoyed it just as much as season 1. I would totally watch a third season if they aired it.

Title Orange Marmalade Spoiler
Second lead syndrome over here. But apparently my ship has already sunk as Shi Hoo seems to kick the bucket at the end of episode 4. Yeesh. Sorry, but so far, Jae Min's character is not very likeable. All he does is whine about hating vampires, yada, yada, yada. All his mom did was marry one (and a nice one) -- get over it already.

And from the last few minutes, it looks like Jae Min, Ma Ri and Shi Hoo's past lives were intertwined. Not a bad twist, but poorly written in. I'm curious to see what happens next, but I have a feeling the drama isn't going to get better. I mean seriously, all they could think of was the overused amnesia cliche to push the story along?

Talk about impactful beginning! Just two eps and so much has happened. This is a first where I like all of the actors in a drama -- even the evil ones.

I found this one to be a bit boring. I wanted to see how it ended but I didn't really CARE how things were going…
Agree. I enjoyed the first half, but the 2nd half not as much. I only stuck through till the end because of Jung Kyung Ho and Kim So Yeon - two amazing actors who are my top favorites.

Anyone know of other dramas/TV shows/movies like this? Where the villain is a creepy kind of attractive and is…
Try these...I listed the 'psycho' character and the drama/movie they're in..

Ryu Tae Oh - Gap Dong
Lee Jung Moon - Bad Guys
Oh Seung Ha - The Devil
Vick - IRIS (not a main character, but captivating when he's on screen)
Ichiro Suzuki - Brain Man
Lee Jae Kyung - You who came from the Stars

Pleasantly surprised so far. Didn't think I'd like it without all of the original cast, but everyone is doing a great job in the 2nd season. The story is pretty interesting.

Cool movie about allowing people free will to make choices, and then respecting their decisions. My take is that…
I agree that the execution was lacking, which is probably why it turned into a personal mission to figure the end out. Usually I'm okay with open endings, but this one just left me staring at the screen in irritation.

Not entirely sure what the ending meant...was it a figment of his imagination or did everyone manage to lose their minds in this movie?
