it's certainly worth a watch. My only real criticism is the lack of development for Aki. Aki's perfectly acceptable…
"At the beginning of the show Aki is waiting for a man and allowing him to dictate her life. at the end of the show Aki is waiting on a man and allowing him to dictate her life. It’s just a different man" I think this is exactly were the writer wanted to establish the growth in Aki. At the beginning she was waiting for her boyfriend to comeback due to the promise they made. But at the end she did not make any promise with Haru nor were they in a relationship when he went abroad. She decided to continue with her life without waiting for someone to comeback, she was not waiting for Haru’s return nor she was expecting him to continue to be in love with her. That’s why when the interviewer asked Haru if there was a special someone for him and he was about to show the picture she turned off the TV, because she didn’t want to know who his new love was. (I hope my long explanation makes any sense LOL)
Pride is one of my all time favorite dramas, I just love the story and how Haru and Aki both find what they were looking for in the most unexpected way. This is definitely a must watch drama! And the OST is outstanding, "I was born to love you" is still in my play list.
This drama deserves so much love but it was a very good one! I love the relationship between the OTP and how it gradually developed and it was so natural. I would also tag this drama as a tearjerker specially the last quartet of it!! Thanks for writing this article :)
I'm sooo happy fro Kahogo no Kahoko!! It was such a cute and lovely drama and I'm glad it won that many categories. I mostly agree with all the winners and I definitely have to watch Quartet since it won as best mystery drama!
And now my PTW list grew bigger!!! LOL There are so maaany interesting titles in here! And they are fnally making Marmalade boy after sooo many years!!
Congratulations on this article is very entertaining to read and very well made that it's no problem to read until the end even if it's long. Excellent article!!
I SOOO agree with Soo Hyun from Madame Antoine, I can not for the love of god understand why Hye Rim forgave Soo Hyun for the experiment. She gave him many opportunities to quit the experiment, to stop it but every time he made the choice to keep his experiment. It was always his experiment over her. And at the end they make it look as if Hye Rim was the bad one for leaving him when he found out he never stopped experimenting with her. I was so mad when I finished watching this drama, because I couldn't understand why they ended up together!! thanks for writing this article :)
Thanks for putting this together esp with your personal comments! One comment, I know that many feel that Yamazaki…
Thanks for reading! I didn't finish watching Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto, I didn't like that drama it was very weird for me all the love triangles or squares that happened (I did like Miura Shohei, Yamazaki Kento and Kiritani Mirei separately but in that drama they didn't work for me)
And the OST is outstanding, "I was born to love you" is still in my play list.
Thanks for writing this article :)
