Just an overall great reunion. You get to see some behind the scenes which are always amusing, you get to hear live performances of the OST and glimpse at the actors, see what they actually think of their performance. Loved that they included some of testimonials of the supporting cast, however, I was really missing the teachers because they weren't on the special episode... Can't believe that this drama is over for me! Definitely worth watching the reunion, because it just fills up all of the blank and left out spaces with happiness and positive emotions!

To start off, I want to pay my respects to the trailer and the first episodes of this show which got me really hooked right from the beginning. Never before have I been so excited to watch what seemed like a super custom made drama just for me. I like my romance stories like that: the leads fall in love from first sight, their chemistry is off the charts, they are both gorgeous and the music fits in with the mood. To add, the beautiful cinematography and all of the things mentioned came into one big bubble of joy which made my Monday and Tuesday nights so enjoyable. Everything would seem great and I'd finish this review with a strong 10 if it wasn't for the unnecessary melodramatic twists and the extended episodes. I really planned to put this drama in my "Top 10" list, but it just wasn't possible because of how draggy the directors decided to make this masterpiece. Seriously, it felt like I was watching Naruto with all of those filler episodes which contained no development whatsoever. Still, somehow I managed to pull myself together and finish the last episodes. And to be honest, the last episodes were really refreshing and nice. Not to mention the stunning male lead and his character. These type of calm, confident and feminine male characters aren't very common in the drama world, so this made this drama quite unique.

Overall,  I'm definitely recommending this to people who enjoy professionally filmed dramas with a fast-slow paced type of plot. Yes, some parts are really boring and the story gets frustrating, but the end is worth savoring every minute of this drama!

To be honest, I intended to watch this drama, whether I liked it or not, because my favorite actor of the Korean Drama land - Park Seo Joon. And I kid you not, this drama was full of surprises and not what I expected at all.

From the trailer and the plot summary I was certain that this series was going to be full of roses and very smooth going. But it was not what I expected at all. Starting with the genre of this drama, I think it would've been a brilliant comedy on its own, without any romance elements. It was quite a rocky start for me to fall in love with the jokes and the romantic aspects in this drama, but as it progressed, it grew on me more and more.

And the most important thing that made this drama memorable for me were the characters. As I said in the beginning, I was anticipating to root and fangirl over Park Seo Joon in this drama. However, I was caught up in something known as the "second lead syndrome". Editor Kim - he's the man that stole this whole show! Man, his jokes are superb, and the "Jackson" joke is going to stick with me for the rest of my life and remind me of his cheerfulness and that awkward and goofy man. In my opinion, the female lead, Kim Hye Jin, was too psychotic and unrealistic, but nevertheless, she's brought a fresh type of character into the Korean Drama world. Also, the whole staff of "The Most" magazine made me fall in love with them and their little family at the office. The character side stories were very interesting and I would love to see more Korean Dramas with a similar family-work environment.

Briefly, it's been quite a rocky start for me and this drama. Notwithstanding, it gets better and better and the series continues as the characters bring out many unique aspects of their lives and stories. It's a brilliant comedy story that makes you believe in first love once again!

Loved this little recap and behind the scenes of my favorite drama! You could see that the actors got along really great, they're very talented themselves and the staff did an impressive job of bringing a very popular manhwa to real life!

Although it's kind of sad that such a great series came to the unfortunate ending, but this special episode reminded me of the great times on set and the unforgettable moments during the actual drama. Super worth watching!

Although I'm a huge fan of medical dramas, this one I was not very fond of right from the start. I found it lacking in the supporting character development since each of them were different and unique. Also, the whole "romance" that was going on was quite cheesy.
I actually enjoyed the patients' stories more than the actual plot of the two main characters. Overall, not a drama that I'd re-watch, but quite enjoyable.

Saw this on Netflix and decided to give it a go. The story really reminds me of the Korean or Thai "Full House" series with the concept of strangers living together. I was hoping that this series would have more romance but I found myself quite scared of the main character, Uehara Hisashi, actually. The female lead, Yoshikawa Nao, was kind of awkward as well. I don't know, if it's the actors or if it's like that in the original manga, since I haven't read it yet, but there isn't a lot of chemistry between the two main characters. The are better romance dramas out there for sure, so I wouldn't re-watch it.
I saw that there'll be a season 2 of this drama so I'm still quite excited to see what'll happen! Let's hope that the next season will focus on the romance more!

Mr. Sunshine was a fantastic drama! Just the overall feel of it, the cinematography, the excellent writing, acting and the mesmerizing soundtrack made it look like an out of this world masterpiece. I probably started watching this because of the reviews and because Netflix also streamed it. It's a great series for beginners into the Korean drama world. Plus, it's educational and a must-see for history lovers. First of all, I appreciate all of the effort put into design, costumes and the scenery. It did feel like the viewers were living in Joseon. Second, there were so many various characters of different backgrounds and aims, so many to choose from to be your favorite. Personally, the badass Gu Dong Mae and the fiery Kudo Hina stole my hearts. Not to mention all of the side characters which made the dialog and storyline very enjoyable. The only thing that I disliked was that there were no intimate scenes between the lead couple. Some might argue that it isn't necessary for a drama of this sort, but somehow it made the love story a bit unrealistic at times. Third, I've admired the interchangeable serious and comedic moods throughout the drama. The comedy lifted off the seriousness once in a while and it was refreshing. In addition, the transition between Korean, English, Japanese and sometimes other languages felt super sophisticated and alive. And fourth, I have to admit that the soundtrack was fantastic and now in my daily playlist. So many great artist became a part of the OST and brought in different colors to the series.
Overall, this is definitely a gem and one of the best-produced Korean dramas out there. If you enjoy beautiful shots, historical shows and good quality dramas in general, please pick this one up and watch it. It will forever be remembered and quoted by me anyways!

This was an amazing series that I decided to binge watch for 2 days. With every episode ending the preview sucked me in to watch the next one.
But wow, the plot of this drama is like nothing I've seen before. It really reminds me of Batman for some reason. I've always wanted to live in a comic book world so it kind of made me experience that.

The main lead chemistry is unbelievable so if you love romantic dramas this one doesn't delay the kiss scenes at all and cuts right to what the fans want :D The animation + the side characters were like a treat. Definitely re-watching this for the cute and romantic atmosphere!

With all of the positive and highly-rated reviews, I came in to burst the the beautiful the happy bubble. I simply didn't like this drama like most of the viewers.

Expectations? They are always high up there for me. To be frank, I only watched and finished watching this simply because two of my favorite actors - Seo In Guk and Park Go Bum, they are the main characters in this. The other cast - not so much, I was never a fan of Jang Na Ra's acting. Since this is mainly a psychological thriller with a bit of romance scenes, I now get why I didn't enjoy this as much. However, I do love an amazing mystery thriller, but this drama was lacking. Lacking what exactly? I wanted something crazy to drop out of the blue for me to watch it seriously. Like a deabak plot twist or something. Literally, I developed an attention span of a spoon while watching this. The only attention-worthy episodes were the first and the last ones. In reality, the plot line is detailed, written by a creative author, but the story wasn't fully developed and brought to life in my opinion. Good music is always a staple in a drama. I quite enjoyed the OST of Hello Monster, some songs are very catchy indeed.

So if I had to draw a quick conclusion, this drama could've been a lot more enjoyable and better, however, it lacked a lot. Myself, I don't even know exactly what it lacked, but it sure wasn't very entertaining and I almost dropped it. There are definitely a bunch of similar Kdramas that are better than this one out there so keep on looking!

Wow! I just literally finished watching this 5 minutes ago and I can surely state that this is hands down my favorite drama at the moment. I was longing for a super cute and romantic series and this was the best decision to watch it right away!

To begin with, I'm quite sad that this is a short web drama. On the other hand, I'm not quite sure if it would've been more enjoyable if it was a full length TV drama. The creators are brilliant since they managed to squeeze every ounce of the major plot details, important scenes and humor into 20 episodes. The time flew by super fast while watching this, so you know it must be good. I couldn't stop thinking about the characters and their relationship every time I left my apartment! This drama also made me daydream a lot. Dramas that make a huge impact on me are highly appreciated and kept in my heart forever! Yes, the relationships. The main couple had some serious chemistry. Any time they were shown on the screen together, I was dying from excitement and adorableness. Honestly, my heart even skipped a beat once or twice. This was my first drama starring Kim Young Kwang and I instantly fell in love with this actor! Seriously, I admire how he managed to pull of that tsundere character so well. Other actors too, I've seen some of them before playing completely different characters so it was nice to see them transform into something new. The music was very fitting as well, especially that one song from the OST called "Candy Star". Overall, a drama worth rewatching 110%!

These are the type of dramas I like best - with amazing chemistry, comedy and romance floating all around! Trust me, you'll be hooked on the first episode and you won't regret watching it!

Breath of fresh air that (also) took me out of the Kdrama slump

Was a bit of a shocker not finding any positive reviews until the very recent reviewers.

Although yes while the plot is very overused and includes typical Korean drama cliches for time travelling, crazy stalkers, however isn't this what dramas are all about? A massive thing that differentiates this one is the fact that both leads are true to their feelings from the very beginning, very green flags all around which is difficult to find in mainstream shows. Did I find myself shouting at the female lead asking her to communicate better? Maybe. But without much flaws like these, the show was very enjoyable and quite literally made me watch Kdramas again after 4 year hiatus. Safe to say this is going into my favourites list, and better yet, I'm rewatching this again with friends and my partner!

Truly a classic that I’ve been putting off for way too long. It’s like a very aesthetic piece of art from the cinematography, to the characters, the music and the subtle metaphors that are found in the movie. With a variety of genres spanning across the screen time, it ties into the plot so well. Absolutely loved the main female character’s development and backstory, her painfully beautiful and fragile fate as well as the way the character was played. Truly a masterpiece that I’ll think about from time to time when feeling the wind around me. Would also suggest this for a rewatch just because it’s that great.

Empowering girl boss storyline

This drama has been sitting in my to-watch list for a few years now, ever since I've gotten into Kdramas really. This is an intense slice-of-line series that I would put on as soon as I finished work as a good de-stresser very fitting into the theme of corporate. I loved that the story highlighted the main flaws with corporate business within the country supporting the themes of work culture, nepotism, bribery, feminism, long working hours, excessive drinking etc. It's quite a handful but I was impressed with the controversial direction in plot that the directors had chosen to take in. Female empowerment was unreal and very inspiring to someone working in the same industry. In my humble opinion, the drama would've been perfect if it wasn't for the super toxic female and male lead relationship: I swear I stopped paying attention to it by the 7th time they'd broken up. In relationships, communication is key, and even though they were truthful and had communicated A LOT, that really didn't stop them through dragging their relationship through the mud. I forgive them because their chemistry was off the charts - well played. Quite an intense watch but addressing many problems within Korean society and making you feel empowered as a female in the end, so definitely put on your list to watch if you want to switch it up a bit.

Like most well-rated and popular dramas, I was so late to watch this and I feel so ashamed. This was seriously so good and memorable, I'm having weird feelings of emptiness after watching this drama.

While I've seen a couple of shows where the action is taking place in a manga / book, this didn't feel like a strange concept to me. Extraordinary You managed to take this a step further and make it more psychological in a sense. I was a very big fan of the "stage" concept of this show, and how characters were self-aware or playing character within the manhwa. The female lead was very-cartoony-like, and also becoming more human as the story progressed. The characters were also able to play the cliche "shy heroine", "bad guy", "handsome popular boy" tropes really well. However, what surprised me the most was Haru's character, considering that the actor was so fresh to acting at the time. I was very swooned and in-love with his demeanour, history and the way he carries himself throughout the drama.

Although so many people call this drama cheesy and "wasted potential", I completely disagree as this show combines both stereotypical KDrama and something above that. Please disregard the reviews, watch a couple of episodes and see for yourself. Needless to say, this was so beautiful I need a season 2!

Absolute masterpiece of a drama certified to bring lots of nostalgia and lots of tears in your eyes..! This drama has taken number no.1 spot on my all-time favourite Kdramas and rightfully so.

While I've watched the other Reply series and didn't think it could get any better, it certainly did get better with Reply 1988. It was refreshing to see a slide-of-life drama centred around family, or the Ssamundong neighbourhood - their daily lives and the dilemmas each of the family faces. With each of the character, you could definitely associate them with one of your family members. The plot was entertaining, simple and not over-the-top dramatic, and would leave you hanging and craving for another episode. This time-piece transported me back to the 80s with the rise of brand names and westernisation, Korean ballads, and a way different Seoul I've never seen before.

As for the romance, the love triangle and the guessing game for who's the husband had me scrapping theories left and right. While I was disappointed with Duk Seon's choice the first time I've watch it, the re-watch definitely gives you a whole different perspective on the character's love life. The actors were amazing, consider how little experience some actors had while playing their roles for this drama.

Truly a masterpiece which I'll never forgot. If I had to pick a drama to re-watch multiple times with different people, this would be it!
