The plot had so much potential with the reincarnation trope leading the story, but it was never really used. While I enjoyed the beginning episodes quite a lot, at some point I was questioning myself for watching it. It wanted to be deeper, more dramatic and moving, but used all wrong directing choices to achieve it, and in the end, it did not work for me.CHARACTERS/COUPLES
Truth to be told, I was far more interested in all side/past couples than the main one. I didn’t feel that much chemistry between them. Don’t get me wrong, there were moments when I found them as cute as possible, but I always thought it was more about good directing and not their acting. The romance scenes were simply well written and shot. I still believe Pharm and Dean’s first kiss was filmed in a fantastic way.
I truly loved the fun and entertaining chemistry going on between Team and Win and I wish we could have seen more of them and how they developed feelings for each other. We kind of knew they would end up together… and then they did. Not much of that development was really shown.
Earth and Kao were really good in their roles and I truly did feel the pain and desperation watching their scenes. Wish we could have a prequel telling just their story in greater detail.
Sadly, I felt like Ohm had the same facial expression 90% of the drama, with Fluke showing a bit more diversity: happy grin, shocked grin, massive crying (+ the quite well acted total meltdown in the last episode). While at the beginning I did not mind, at some point I was just bored by their scenes and performance.
Character wise, both Dean and Pharm were nothing special. I mean… Did Dean even have a personality? I did enjoy their relationship though, because, they played off of each other's characteristics well - Pharm being on a shy note and Dean leading the interactions, but as separate characters… they had close to nothing going on.
THAT SAID, I have to applaud the drama for one specific scene. We got some good representation of setting boundaries. When Dean gets a bit too touchy with Pharm, but Pharm quickly puts him back in place, clearly says it was unwanted and it must never happen again. We don’t see scenes like that a lot in BLs.
Also, justice for Manow. Poor girl was literally forgotten at some point of the drama.
DIRECTING
Oh boy. All the long, slow scenes of them doing literally nothing, like… looking at their phone, or cooking but without interacting with each other. The dialogues with way too many pauses. They literally took breaks every 2 or 3 words. There were many scenes that just felt like fillers. Few seconds here, few seconds there… but no content to be found. It made the drama look more aesthetically pleasing, but at the same time, I could not move my finger away from the right arrow on my keyboard, because I was sure there will be more than one occasion I will want to skip the next 5 seconds of them doing nothing.
As I was watching and the story progressed more and more, I could not wait for it to end. It dragged so badly and it was so amazingly slow. Everything was slow. They talked slowly, the shots were slow, the background music was slow, how they moved and walked was slow. I was honestly getting sleepy and tired after watching. The fact that, by an accident, I was able to watch 2 parts of an episode set on 1.5x speed and did not notice says a lot about the directing.
The violin soundtrack started to drive me nuts at some point. It made it seem like every scene was so profound and important and had deeper meaning… most of them did not. The overuse of it made it not an asset, but an annoyance in my eyes (ears?).
WRITING/STORY
I feel like the planning just failed. With the minimum of Team and Win scenes, they should just cut them out completely and make a sequel showing their relationship from the beginning. Focus only on Dean and Pharm and the past story of In and Korn. Show us in more detail how they slowly connected all the dots and accepted their past and current selves.
What’s most important, introduce a conflict AND NOT IN A LAST EPISODE. With the reincarnation trope, there are so many ways to go about it. Giving me Pharm questioning his love for Dean, not being sure if it's real or it's just reminiscence of the relationship In had with Korn, it’s awesome. What’s the point of shoving it in our faces in the last episode? It could have been gradually introduced. The more Pharm knew about the past, the more he would start questioning his feelings for Dean. This way you would have two driving forces for their relationship clashing in an interesting way - them being drawn to each other by the past connection, but also driven away by the fear it’s not real. I guess this isn’t the drama’s fault, since it is based on the novel, but it does not change the fact that there weren’t really any stakes presented. They tried to introduce some struggle by the end, but since the set up was not strong enough, it failed to move me and make me care.
The mental breakdown Pharm had at the end was so ridiculous too. He knew the story, he had flashbacks showing exactly what happened. It’s not like finding the box in the previous episode gave him some new information. He knew it all… And sure, we can argue that the reality of it hit him the moment he saw the photos and the gun, but it still makes no sense pacing wise. Make it happen at least two or three episodes earlier so we can actually feel the pain of then splitting/taking a break. Give me that emotional journey not some cheap emotional thirty second roller coaster with some bullshit “three months later”.
Overall, I guess I was simply not convinced by Fluke and Ohm’s acting so the scenes that might have been sweet, emotional, sad… were, for me, boring. I was not connecting to their feelings so I could not bring myself to care. The moment I started to care, the pace slowed down so painfully, I was getting distracted by the fact nothing was happening. Sad conclusion to the drama I was so excited to watch.

Have a drink... or two
After first couple episodes (which were very slow) I thought this is going to be drama revolving around struggles (over)sensitive people have living in such loud world. And, since it was male lead who was sensitive, not typically FL, I was more interested to see how drama will explore his world and how he will "adapt" once he falls for FL. Unfortunately, they shifted focus on FL, her struggles and it became just one more drama with "ML is there for FL" and "wow, he is such a sweet guy".Do I regret watching it? No, I don't. Would I watch it if I knew half way writers will forget about his sensitivity and turn it into simple plot device? No, I wouldn't.
It is sweet drama about family and friendship and people should try it, with or without FF button.

Ashes of annoyance(if you ask me)
This story is your epic example of greed and revenge. Its a story entirely based on the actions of a self serving emperor and an evil calculating woman who was not loved by her husband.Up until now i am still wondeing why most people kept on referring and comparing this story to ten miles of peach blossoms. The plots are completely unrelated and so different. The only minute similarity is both stories are fantasy stories and have a handful of realms only.
Now if you are looking for something thought provoking, refreshing and a bit different from the usual stories and typical drama logic then you might enjoy this.
I am however compelled to mention one downside to this drama. THE FEMALE LEAD was super annoying. Yes her character was pathetic throughout the drama but it does not end with the character alone. The female lead's acting leaves a lot to be desired. Her character was poorly written and developed through out the whole drama. Yes in the beginning i thought that is how it was meant to be but after major transformation i expectected her character to change and have a bit more depth but it remained shallow and underdeveloped. So if you can move past this hurdle then you might enjoy this drama indeed. To me she was a constant bother till i decided to focus entirely on the two brothers.
It is everything about her that made me give this drama a low rating. No matter how good the plot is or the acting of the rest of the cast is if one of the leads is a doofus be it character wise or the acting itself then it will bring the entire project down. This is how it was for me. If you can move past her then good for you you will enjoy the drama more.

Normalizing toxic relationships 101
This show is the worst thing I've watched in a while...Why is it normalized that Diao and Kuea are literally SCARED of the people that should love them?
How are Kuea and Lian supposed to be close
childhood friends even though they can't have a conversation about anything else than their relationship? Don't they have any common interests?
The characters of this show are puppets, flatly written to somehow drive the barely existent "plot" to some fan service, (there are so many unnecessary kiss scenes!) and then slip into the next recycled filler material about how they betray and gaslight eachother. These relationships are so unhealthy!
I was also just disgusted by the way that Hia Yi and Hia Lian treat Kuea and Diao like they are their dogs, it was infuriating! Two of the few things they did right in the show were letting Kon Diao stand up for himself and having Kuea be determined to call off the engagement (Only at first unfortunately). The glaring problems in their relationships were rather ignored instead of actually solved.
Despite the weird premise of the show I was genuinely hoping that the main couples were going to develop a meaningful connection over time, but there was barely any development. In fact for example, instead of showing his rebellious side more as the show went on, it felt like Kuea adopted a part of the "Annabelle " mindset more and more as his real personality. Just saying yes, smiling, shallow sweet talk and ditching the last bit of depth his Character had, until his breakdown when Lian proposed to him (The only emotional moment, I could actually get invested in). But afterwards he quickly paddeled back into mindlessly
obeying Lian.
Onto the next problem: Yi and Lian seem always keen on making Diao and Kuea as dependent on them as possible, taking their autonomy and controlling them, which is being portrayed as cute and caring, but it is plain toxic.
The "friendship" between Yi and Lian was also very lackluster, when they were meeting up they always just seemed annoyed and were missing, like pretty much any relationship in the show, any real common interests apart from being business partners.
Fortunately at least Kon Diao and Kuea's friendship was overall supportive and one of the few positive parts in the series.
Side note: I do appreciate the effort the actors put into portraying the characters well, but even good actors can't save a badly written show.
The only romantic relationship that wasn't absurdly unhealthy was the one of Syn and Nuer, they seemed to actually be on one wave length and even though their relationship was also lacking depth, it was still very cute and worth watching.
I truly believe that this show was made for a kind of thirsty viewers who don't really care about the plot as long as there are plenty kissing scenes between two hot actors (even if the kisses don't really feel romantic), as this is the only way I can explain why this show isn't as widely called out for what it is:
(also tldr) A substance lacking excuse for kissing scenes with a plotline almost exclusively consisting of normalizing unhealthy relationships, a few good songs and 10 minutes of preachy dialogue in the beginning and end, that can't be taken seriously, because nothing said is actually reflected in the show.
They should have called this series "normalizing toxic relationships 101"
I'm very disappointed, what a waste of time!

Story: Watching the movie without reading the description in the summary is like going on a trip to the jungle without a road map, and even then, the potential to get lost is great. Which is what happened to me when watching this movie.Only in the end did I realize that there was actually a love triangle between Lin, Josh and Sean, but it was really hard to tell among the constant revolving door of almost naked men in their cheap-looking underwear that look like they've been worn since they were teenagers.
Honestly, I did not realize that there's actually a story in this mess. My take-away from this movie is that gays do drugs, bad disco and sleep around with whomever and whatever is available. But I know this is not the case. There is even a line in the movie, that for gay men, what is important is not the clothes you wear, but the body underneath it. Basically, if you're fat, you're fucked. Or rather, not fucked. Unless you are some guy with connections or money, you're pretty much hopeless.
But to give you a quick brief, so to spare you from wasting almost two hours of your life. This is basically what happened, if I understood it correctly.
Spoilers ahead:
Main Line:
Josh has been in love with Lin , who is still hung up about the death of his boyfriend.
Josh sleeps around with everyone except Lin.
Lin has AIDS and Lin dies by suicide similar to what his boyfriend did.
Sean did something about a video, probably driving LIn to his death not sure.
Sean did the above to get Josh.
Sean also has AIDS.
The description says that Josh and Lin are boyfriends but it doesn't look like it in the movie, they may like each other but nothing that shows they were together, except that Josh frequents Lin's flower shop a lot.
Side Lines:
Miss Rose is the manager of the Red House.
Lang is Miss Rose BF who sells/supplies drugs in his apartment. Another hang-out.
Lang also sleeps around. No surprise there, as almost everyone is.
Miss Rose also provides sexual services to keep her business afloat.
The Red House burns to the ground mysteriously during or after or before a police raid.
Acting: They are all convincingly gay.
Music: The only good part about the movie.
Re-watch value: Watching one time is more than enough.
There are so many loopholes, gaps, questions about this movie that is so choppy at best, and laziness at worst.
The only reason I am giving this a 3 star even though it is a bad movie, is because I have seen worse if you can believe it. I'm looking at you, Graupel Poetry, Innate Differences, Alternative Love, In Between Seasons, A Touch of Fever, and the list goes on and on.
Unless you are a masochist, be forewarned. No matter how you like Sky Li or Aric Chen, they will not save this movie. Nobody can.

Even though you can't change the future, you can decided how to respond to it
This series is an excellent example of how one person can have an effect on another person (good or bad). The mom and her dreams, the dad and him being the glue, the depression almost being contagious in the family and how a ray of sunshine can penitrate darkness."Even though you can't change the future, you can decided how to respond to it."
This is an excellent summary and I would add the same about the past, you can't change it but how you respond to the past can change at any point in time in your life.
Loved this drama 10/10

KinnPorsche, close but not quite
Overall: I rated the first episode a 9.5. Unfortunately the series kind of fell apart for me, but there were some really good aspects. Although there's crack comedy (and some stupid comedy) parts, I would label KP as a mature series with major content warnings. Make sure to watch past the credits for the final episode. Watched on iQIYI (watched the uncut La Forte and also several episodes of the cut TV version)Content Warnings: murders/deaths, attempted murder, suicide, threatened suicide, non con kissing and sex (drugged), dub/non con kiss (drunk), torture, manipulation, violence, fight scenes, blood and gore, kidnapping, pet death, breaking & entering, trauma/past trauma, physical abuse, self harm, drunk driving? 17/18 year old with 22? year old (this personally didn't bother me the way it was presented)
What I Liked
- intro song and the music fit the scenes well
- acting, especially Apo and his microexpressions
- some of the funny moments like that light shining on Porsche in the bar as if he's sent from heaven in ep 1
- really lovely cinematography such as the bathroom scene in episode 7
- beautiful and well thought out lighting
- Porsche and Porschay brother relationship was super sweet
- that Kinn and Porsche were realistically horny after they got together
- a more unique premise (we don't have many BL mafia series)
- fun product placements like that bread in the bed
- the free, shorter TV versions are cut really well and it doesn't ruin the series, they toned down/cut some of the violence and sex/nudity in the shorter versions as well as other parts (like cutting the toilet humor from ep 1 which I appreciated)
Room For Improvement
- disappointed with Porsche's character. In the first episode he's shown as a good fighter and intelligent but then it all goes downhill. He does some of the stupidest things, speaking of...
- really stupid decisions from multiple characters (somehow Tankhun is the smartest brother...), Kinn saying he forgot something - really???
- back to Porsche. It's so odd how the character felt about the mafia in episode 1 to where he ends up in the finale with apparently no internal struggle.
- lack of character growth with KinnPorsche, they are terrible at communicating and trusting one another. I wanted to see them work thru this and grow together. Kinn continued to seek his father's approval and I wanted him to start breaking away.
- stark tonal changes. At the end of episode 10 there was no time to grieve, just farting in the bed. I think humor can go well with a darker tone (like Our Flag Means Death) but going from torture to silly scenes did not work for me.
- non logic: owning an expensive motorcycle and having no money, going clubbing with only 3 bodyguards when someone wants you dead, knowing how to spearfish but not that a small knife won't cut through bone, clean shaven after 3 days in the wilderness, lack of police, no one wears bullet proof vests ever
- the dub/non con with KinnPorsche although I appreciate that it wasn't immediately glossed over, there was apologizing and some selfless acts
- Vegas and Pete needed more screen time. I really wish we had seen Pete have a wet dream with Vegas and Pete as a masochist earlier. Also that he purposefully got caught because he was attracted to Vegas. Their relationship felt Stockholm Syndromey and was very rushed. The sex scene needed less music and more actual sounds from them, a steadier camera and some research on BDSM.
- Kim/Porschay, they needed more screentime as well. I was confused by Porschay's intensity as it seemed they were together for a short time but in a later episode Kim looks back at a bunch of pictures of them together and it made me think they dated for longer than I thought.
- camerawork was a little too shaky during action scenes
- replacing swear words with things like "fudge" WTF? We see multiple murders but using swear words is too much (I didn't take off points for this though as maybe the production couldn't control the subs)
- it felt like maybe too many twists at the end, definitely felt like a set up for season 2

She Dreams of Cinderella

Be Your Own Prince Charming & Follow Your Joy!
Cinderella tropes are nothing new but what sets this drama apart is the depiction of the known characters in a different light. Our FL Cinderella from the start is proclaiming herself as a sort of gold-digger, the Prince Charming ML is distrustful for those who proclaim love to him assuming they are in for his money - and this drama is a journey on how they both realize that what they are looking for is something within themselves and each other. Supporting them strongly are roles of the step-mother & sisters, who are not mean like in the fairytale but have their own way of supporting their Cinderella sister. The villains are funny more than evil. the SML momentarily seems mysterious only to become a catalyst in Cinderella's journey to find her calling.
Best Parts:
> The acting of the ML is worth investing time in this drama. He can be childish, rich spoiled brat but when need be he can be the most manly charming male lead that can make men/women around him swoon. And boy can fight!
> The entire retelling: seeing the age old story in a new light was a fresh perspective; the good have some flaws and the evil are not truly evil. Something that sets well in modern times, and the message of the drama is strong and apt: "Follow Your Joy" and be your own Prince Charming i.e. you yourself are the ones who can make/break your happily ever after.
> The illustrations in the start, background narration, comedic effects and cross over from Taxi Driver was a cherry on top that sweetened the deal.
> Short, well paced drama of 10 episodes
Weakness:
> Personal Opinion: The latter half of the drama did not arrest or hold my attention. I even watched some parts by fast forwarding. I was invested to finish the drama and know what happens in the end, but these parts could have been done better.
> The villains were there just for comedic effect - their actions in order to break the main couple as needed in a kdrama, was lacking. Again two ways to see it: it did not frustrate me but then it made me question what was their role? It felt half-baked to some extent
Overall:
Watch it cause of its short, well paced retelling of the Cinderella trope and for ML, Lee Jun Young's acting.

Better Late than Single

It's definitely not "better late than being single" but "better late than to be taken"
As me being single since birth made me think of how I wish I was from this show?? WAHAHAHHA'It has been a fun ride with them, and it feels like fresh from an oven while watching the first ep. Mostly it was bubbly but it got all sudden to be serious and intense when they already realized and knew that some of them are "competing" with each other on who they'll end up with. While some of them are trying to fix their own things and managed to survive remaining to be single until the end...
Honestly, I've been posting some tiktok clips (@nugumars on tiktok) from this show and its my second show after watching my first ever dating show, nineteen to twenty. Well, I was expecting for more since the first ep and the ending was really unpredictable for me. I think I haven't seen some of the main couple's lovey-dovey and first move scenes in a detailed way but definitely these singles who never had a relationships also reminds me of how hard it may also be, especially thinking twice of what would possibly come up, it may be predicted or it may be in the worst case-scenario. I also understand how some girls we're been underestimated by the other guys, the other where just there for a show, competition and rivalry was there, but I would never forget the maturity as well from them. I also love the progress and the pain that they have carried all the way, and how they made few changes to make the first step to other singles who they we're interested in.
Perhaps, these girls really made an impression for me since the first ep:
~ Yi-do
~ Min-hong
~ Ji-su
They really stood out for me the most because every eps, there are progress and changes. They adjusted and think of possible outcomes and predictions, while the other, like Yido, really felt bad for her for crying like girl you've cried 5x from my list already T-T Yi-do for me was one of the weakest but yet she still had so much expectations and dreams of ending up with Jeong-mok but erm he's kind of a jerk from this show tbh. I really hoped for the betterment of Yido and finding the perfect guy for her, despite jeong-mok might be her first love and first heartbreak.
One of the strongest singles out here from this drama is definitely Min-hong, she was totally my favorite from this show and especially the mindset of giving so much advices to the girls, her roommates and the other guys like jae-yun. I liked her personality and the bravest part of her in giving reassurance to others who she gave advices makes her even more attractive.
Ji-su has been the most favorite and ideal partner among the three guys, Sang-ho, seung-il, and Hyunkyu. The competition of the guys we're entertaining, but to the point as well where I was totally disappointed of the guys really chasing her. I mean its their first time but who knows? Also, she does not rush anything because each day comes by since the first day she really had the chance to talk to them one by one while the other was getting so suspicious of their acts. I mean my girl ji-su was promising, but I felt a bit shocked that she chose Seung-il despite the little incident while they were a bit drunk and talking about their first day and the serious question from Ji-su about her past trauma of why she really choses the right guy as carefully as she is. Ever since the firs day, she really made a n impression to most of the guys since they we're introduced the first day. Hoping that while she ended up with Seung-il she would really find interconnectedness with each other.
For the guys, they we're pretty neutral to me, but definitely I was hoping more for some of them to interaction (and not being late) like seung-chan and mi ji T-T. Actually Seung-chan was one of my favorites, and as well as Jae-yun. I feel like I have not quite things to say but ever since few days passed by I think he had lots of progress and its really obvious that they are surrounded by their own worlds because they we're too shy to interact with the girls within the building or even their dates. I feel like I had a favoritism with Seung-chan and there was one episode where he gave an advice to one of the guys after the singles inside a room were talking about the guy who consumed almost two hours of talking to Ji-su.
Seung-chan, Jae-yun and Sang-ho were my favorite guys who stayed by their own preferences but they had at least few changes and progress of knowing themselves more, and that was the point of entering the show for them.
I think I do really understand the decisions that the eternal singles made at the end of the episodes because they weren't there for fun, but finding answers of where they actually belong from the two questions of "staying single?" or "finding or looking for your first love?". The emotions and confusions were all came with purpose and meaning, and I also love how the crew and production made this show very interesting and yet more intense. Also, the casts from this show were very entertaining, as this has been my first dating show that made me so damn interested in watching aired and being so impatient as I waited for few days or even a week to watch all eps.
But overall, it was okay for me, but then I really wished that they would reunite (but not possible because it might be awkward for them already)

Not the best, not the worst
The setting was what drew me in, i'll always love the seaside small village stories and this one was no different. Story was okayish, MLs story was bit over dramatic probably to play up the tension in the short episode count, FLs story was pretty much the same as every other story like this, ie. need to get away from everything. Nothing groundbreaking and it doesn't have to be, it works just fine and i enjoyed the story for what it was.Visually this surprised me the most, this has great visuals which are usually absent in short dramas due to lower budgets. You could've told me that it was full drama on this aspect and i would've believed you.
Acting all over the board was kinda meh, but that's expected in short dramas at this point. Sometimes it feels like actors are just here for pay check and here is no different expect the village singer girl was the worst actor i've seen, she was pretty jarring. So acting left a lot to be desired.
Whole skin tone speak left me kinda disappointed how it is still a thing in 2026, FL is kinda racist, lol
Ending was meh, good conclusion for our characters but bit silly how we got to it. The ''villain'' of this drama was bit laughable.
Conclusion
Decent short drama, if you like the setting this isn't the worst 3 hours of your life but you aren't missing anything by skipping this though acting might be bit tough if you aren't use to short dramas, visually great. I'll give it 5/10.

The series is good although sometimes it gets boring
I saw a lot of comments from people, half of them are people who only have a few dramas saved or are new to this new realm of fantasy, I like something new, the actors have done extremely well. work, although some people don't like it, if they read all the comments they realize that they are people who haven't seen a hundred dramas but they think they are perfect scriptwriters or writers, the series has everything I've only seen 4 episodes and I liked it. The kisses are good and the acting is good. If you like new things and have been watching dramas for a while, I recommend it.Many expectations of Korean or Asian series, I do not recommend it since I do not think you will like it since they are demanding and think they are superior, but well, I love the acting of Suzy and Wo Bin They have chemistry in the series although not much but it looks good so farQuesta recensione ti è stata utile?
The story of a woman who makes ink.
It was a good series for me. Another success story about a woman. I watched many such stories in Chinese dramas in 2025 and 2026. Success stories attract my attention and I enjoy watching them. This was one of those stories. It's a story about ink. I especially found Yang Zi very successful. The story was built around her. I can say the male lead was just a supporting character. But they were still compatible. I liked both of them. Apart from that, the excessive talking and advice, and many details about ink making, made the series stagnant and boring. It wasn't a series that progressed at a consistent level. Sometimes it rose, sometimes it fell. The quality wasn't maintained. The occasional competitions and fights added color to the series, but otherwise, stagnation prevailed. There was no real romance. There was no real drama either. Everything was left open, as if only the focus was on ink making. I think this bored the viewers. In the rest of the series, especially the family relationships, their loyalty, respect, love, customs and traditions were beautifully portrayed. The spirit of unity and togetherness was beautifully portrayed. There was also revenge and intrigue. The series could have been even better if these elements had been distributed more carefully.I especially recommend it to those who enjoy stories about female success.

Legend of the Dragon Pearl: The Indistinguishable Road

Story:
I am not going spoil it for whomever is going to watch the drama. Sooooo..... I am going to shortly-summarish- explain this. There was a time period before the current time period in the story. The people in the before time period wants to revive their period by making their prince the emperor. But of course the time right now already has a king and that king is doing a fair job. This is actually the main problem of the whole story but there are many tiny other issues that occur in the drama too. Love plays a big part and there is a lot of heartbreak too. (Multiple heartbreaks)
Acting/Cast:
I can't really describe how the acting was but I just know that I really disliked the antagonists. Which probably means that those actors did a great job on making me hate them. The good people were likable and the audiences' feelings was controlled by the story. So I have to say the acting was amusing. The cast was amazing too each of actors represenyed the character and the feeling matched correctly.
Music:
I can't recall the music but I just know that something occurred during the tragic scenes which made me cry. So I guess it decent?
Rewatch:
I would most definitely rewatch this. It is one of the most complex long historical drama in 2017 that became popular and known. Before I die I would no doubt watch it again!
Remember if you watch this, bring a carton of tissues.????

UNREASONABLE!
My headline says it all! What a disappointment. Finally having a chance to be with your long time crush and not grabbing it just because of a cliche reason of his father hindering you? Then solving that issue towards the end yet you still don't want to be him?
Ben knew what happened to Jim while he was gone. He was disowned by his father and lived a miserable life after finding out that he is also in love with Jim. As if he was not moved a little to think that he was the one who displayed his feelings first. His eyes always looked like he's about to cry but his actions contradicts it. As if he leads us on wanting to get back with Jim but Jim ends up listening to Ben and Roy exchanging I love you's.
My heart breaks for Val. Unlike some comments here, he did not take advantage of Jim. His intentions were pure. He even told Jim not to rush things between them. Then he just let go of him like that when he knew he can't replace Ben in his heart.
The ending was the most unreasonable part. It sums up how the story was messed up and non sense. Ben and Jim finally had a chance to talk and catch up with all the things they went through. Ben even said he loves Jim and will always carry him in his heart and mind. But takes it back saying they can't be together that time. IDK what does he mean by not meant to be together at that moment even if they still love each other and all issues were solved. What makes it more fucked up is that after that heart to heart talk, Jim goes back to the party, holds hands with Roy, act intimately with each other and smile like no one is hurting. I CANNOT! I REALLY CANNOT!
My only consolation is the side actors and their stories. I personally think Olan and Yana, Dante and Flo and The "Orgy" couple were cute and adorable. EJ Jallorina has always been a good actor, but I found the acting of his partner Miko off in this series. (He made a better job in his previous BL tho.)
My verdict goes with majority of the commentaries here. A BIG NO. MESSED UP. UNJUSTIFIABLE. UNREASONABLE. NON SENSE.
