This drama was absolutely amazing! It's actually what made me a Kdrama addict!

Story: The story itself was so amazing. Seriously, it had everything! Drama, romance, a little bit of comedy, sadness, the whole package! It even taught me loads of stuff about doctors and hospitall-y stuff haha

Acting/Cast: THE CAST WERE GREAT!! Seriously, the acting was amazing. Especially Lee Jong Suk, he really gave this drama life. There were times that the main girl really just had the same facial expression, and I do think the second female lead was a better candidate for the main role but tbh, both girls were amazing!

Music: The music just made me so emotional. The OST's are great!

Rewatch value: The only reason it isn't a ten is because i don't think i could go through the heart breaking scenes again! And the ending was a bit so-so but i'm still planning on rewatching sometime soon!

A Heartbreaking Wholesome drama

This drama is filled with careful planning of the character and the plot. The ML is the ultimate prefect man u can get just that u can never get him (U will know y when u watch the drama). My ML is such a responsibly man for the country but that will also be what led him to his downfall :( The family relations among the ML and the 10 orphans that he lived with was also very wholesome. Everyone supports each other well :)

My FL is such a cute sweetheart even the mighty ML will fall for her. The FL seems to be a cute and innocent girl at the start but once she starts talking, you will realised that she is actually very smart and sensible.

However, I really hated the 2nd ML to the core(which means he did a good job). The 2nd ML is actually quite pitiful but his actions really make me erase my sympathy to him.

Everyone should know this will be a tragedy and u will cry ur hearts out at the ending..... I am so happy there is a part 2 to this drama in the modern world. Hopefully that will help to heal my broken heart for this couple.

A lost plot-painful to watch

This show was just wow i was flabbergasted by the levels of absurdity that they were willing to go. Two worlds was a great premise to potentially riveting show however somehow it all went to Potts!! All the right ingredient were there but poor port execution, direction, screen writing and acting .

From poor acting from or sexy leads to stories that didn’t make sense- diseases that can be managed by poop berries, snake bites from nowhere, loose ends and I DONT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN WITH HOW BAD THIS SHOW IS.

I had high hopes for MAX AND NAT i have been a fan since they started but this show takes the cake. THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING better. Nat can cry and thats pretty much it.

MAX appears to be one dimensional he is the same guy in naughty babe, cutie pie and now this show. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU watch because it will either make you laugh with how ridiculous it is or cry

'BEAUTIFUL' AT ITS FINEST!

1. Practically "zero" villains ✅
2. Well-shown dynamics from each family ✅
3. Those dolts cracking up in even sad episodes ✅
4. Proper closure regarding father-and-daughter matter ✅
5. Misleading previews but in a good way ✅

You know, it's always best to find a light one after five days of watching stressful dailies. Thankfully enough, this drama stayed that way up until the end. Even when Grandpa Lee, JSJ, and LHJ seemed to be in the verge of their death, but eventually they both survived. What a miracle, isn't it?

DEFINITELY WILL REWATCH! SOMEDAY, WHEN MY TIME IS FREE ENOUGH.
Indeed, IT'S BEAUTIFUL NOW!

Christopher Nolan eat your heart out!

This is a great film set around a seemingly useless time warp: a two minute gap between two computers. But it becomes very interesting and funny. None of the mind binding time manipulation of Intersteller or Tenet. This must have been so difficult to script, but the film flows as if it was the most natural thing ever.

During the closing credits we get to see some "making of" footage. Amazing the film was recorded on a mobile phone! And I think there were very few edits.

I look forward to watching it again sometime.

Watch this due to boredom & don't know what to watch. Know the ML so just though to myself, let me check this out. So here I'm finished watch this drama...

What I like:
+ The chemistry between our lead. I can feel the tense, the building romance & everything these couple want us to feel it...
+ The tough FL. Even though she's not familiar with the industry & her sister job, she's not complaining much & just get the job done.
+ The proof that male & female can have platonic relationship. Haha... ML & his sister not the real brother & sister, but their feeling purely only sibling love without other feeling...
+ The supportive family. ML & FL parent is just supportive of their relationship without much trouble.
+ The cute relationship between Gao Ling (GL) & Mu Xiao Man (XM). The time GL take to consider their relationship is good. Cause you know sometimes is not easy to take the feeling from brother love to romance love. You need time to think and contemplating, to separate your feeling & thought, to really really think the difference between brother love or something else.

What i don't like:
- The crazy entertainment industry people. The manager, Fang Jie, just kidnap FL cause he didn't want her sister work to be stop. Yeah I know maybe like he usually said he just don't want all the struggle Su Jin Qing done to that point to be wasted. But still what he did is never OK, what ever the reason
- The crazy sister. To be just disappear from the beginning is never OK. You only leave letter to tell about your absence without much thought for other people it just not OK. Even if you stress out, you need to tell other people about your plan, especially if that's affect other people, like the case in this drama.
- The ending is kinda something amiss. I don't know what, & can't put my finger to think what is it. It just something feel lack....

Overall this just another drama to watch

Jing Tian is a Star!

This was my first drama with Jing Tian and she is gorgeous!! I don't really watch republican era dramas but I ended up watching this one with my grandma and I fell in love. The outfits, the hair, the whole aesthetic really was so alluring. The first episode pulls you right into the scene and is truly a great first episode. The chemistry between Jing Tian and Timmy Xu is electrifying and beautiful. I truly enjoyed their romance and in a lot of ways the spy plot felt very secondary. A little cliche but I enjoyed the spying and political scheming. The only problem was the ending and it was quite disappointing. However I did have a wonderful time watching most of the show and I can't wait to see more of Jing Tian!

LOVED IT...until the end

Before I start let me say this is not a comedy.. It's more of a dramedy. It's good, but f you're looking for laughs, this isn't the show you want. Cold Blooded Intern has a very interesting story driver. Personally, I enjoy seeing social issues. I find it interesting seeing socio-political views and policies of other nations, especially ones I've never visited. CBI takes on maternity leave and working mothers. Honestly, I get angry a lot in Asian dramas when I see women forced out of the workforce just because they're married and/or a mother. While CBI doesn't delve deep into the topic (the episodes are only 39 minutes), it gives the viewer a clear picture of the trials women and some men may go through.

Go Hae Ra played by Ra Mi Ran is returning to the workforce after a 7 year absence now that her daughter is 12 years old. She's met with ageism at every door. After running into an old colleague during an interview she's given a chance with strings at Market House. The story revolves around Go Intern and how she maneuvers at work while juggling her home life (to a point). The writing is passable, not good nor bad. The writing excelled in small light hearted scenes. It has good pacing up until the end where it seems rushed. One of the subplots dealing with our MC's husband never gets resolved. They take us up to the door only to slam it in our faces. The rest of production is solid from directing to cinematography.

The cast sells CBI. Ra is perfect as Go Hae Ra. She's likable and dogged, which is a character archetype she seems to do very well. Um Ji Won plays Choi Ji Won our co-MC and she does effortlessly. Honestly, I didn't like her writing much. She was too one dimensional compared to other characters. However, Uhm pulls it off and makes the writing seem better than it was. Actually, the entire cast makes the writing seem good, which is a testament to how good they were. The scenes between Go Hae Ra's husband (played by Lee Jung Hyuk) and daughter (Kim Min Seo) were fantastic. The 2 had chemistry like a real father and daughter. The supports were all very good especially Kim Im Kwon (Go Hae Ra's boss) and scene stealing expert Kim Won Hae, who I thought had turned down his scene stealing ways until turning it up in his last scene.

The music was pretty good. I liked the ending theme. I rarely re-watch, but if there is a season 2 I may watch the last 3 or 4 to jog my memory.

Overall, Cold Blooded Intern is good. Like I said the cast sells all 12 episodes. It's marathon worthy. It has some great scenes and some that make you scratch your head. It does have light hearted scenes that may make you smile, but you may also find yourself muttering why to yourself. It has it's issues and the end made me want to strangle the writer, but it's entertaining nonetheless. It's greater than the sum of it's parts. Score: 7.5 up to 8

A bit of a let down

To begin with, I knew that a lot of fans had been excited for the premiere of this sequel, even I was counting down and cannot contain the excitement as the first season was captivating and good. But to be honest, I got so disappointed with this one.

STORY
The story continues when they are already seniors and the Gifted program was brought back after a year of disappearance introducing new set of gifted students mainly Grace, Time, and Third. At first, I was actually a bit scared because I thought that the old characters were getting to be overshadowed by the new ones but gladly not. However when the story started, I was compelled and kinda liked the series but of course comparisons were made in Season 2. I would not want to dive deeper into the plot itself but on the later episodes, it got really confusing and overwhelming. I know that they had the capability to turn things around as potentials can be unexpected but then it was all over the place. Their mission of bringing the Gifted program down was still there but they provided way too much plot twists that I do not know where the story is going. But I would understand that some fans wanted it this way as it excites them to tune into the next episode but it was not doing it for me.
Proceeding, the ending for me was kinda disappointing and a bit rushed as well I think. First of all, the series was planned to be 18 episodes long but it was shortened to 13 eps and I do not know the reason why. I think that with that 5 episodes, there were a lot of things that can be discussed because tbh, a lot can still happen. The ending they provided has massive conflicts attached to it, making the country filled with Gifted Students. I know that a lot would happen with the change provided and even though they achieved their mission which is to bring down the director and gain equality for all, the ending they provided can lead to deeper and severe consequences.
I actually thought that this might lead to a potential season 3 but I am not gonna be a big fan of that tbh.

CASTS
TBH, the story was like 80% Pang. I haven't been able to see the full potentials of the other characters and I would really want them to see in a big last fight altogether. There were a lot of moments that the old gifted students were just sitting in the corner, smiling, and chilling down.
I would like to see equal screen time for all.

BUT WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE SERIES is the relatable situation that can be connected to government given the state in Thailand. I actually gained numerous amounts of lessons that can be useful in real life.

ALTOGETHER
I was disappointed I might say with the series in overall aspect. Of course, the producers thought of this out but still, it kinda went downhill and all over the place. It was just like watching plot twists after plot twists then a single episode of solving all the problems.

I would still like to say that I liked the Season1 better than the Sequel

A Compelling and Introspective Look at Criminals as Humans

I think this drama is special for a number of reasons. Firstly, it covers an interesting and little addressed topic without being overly obtuse or philosophical. Secondly, it steers clear of the unfortunate reputation of most Jdramas, presenting a solemn and cliché-free exploration of the topic. And finally... well I just really like the main character. Such a unique personality, in such an interesting situation, with a great portrayal by her actor.

Criminal justice was always an interesting topic, especially on a personal level. It's easy to reduce criminals to lesser beings or statistics, but everyone has their own situations, and in the end, everyone's a person. However, it can't be dismissed that certain people are inclined towards behaviors which are inherently incompatible with society or which do (or should) violate one's values. These people must either learn to curb these behaviors or face the consequences, and yet they are still people and so can't be condemned forever. Zenkamono is certainly one of the best portrayals of this conundrum, demonstrating anecdotally each of these situations through the eyes of someone uniquely positioned to address the subject: a probation officer. And while (to our benefit) the show avoids grand philosophical debate, there are subtextual implications of greater questions that are being explored, if you care to think on them.

And, perhaps that's where Zenkamono gets it's tone: one which isn't necessarily unique among television media or even Asian dramas, but which is certainly less common in the Jdrama scene. The whole show is permeated with a steady sense of solemnity, even when punctuated by moments of drama, emotion, and intrigue. Even during the comic relief and the least tense of scenes, there is a feeling that no one is denying the truth of their situation, that it has been accepted so they can move on.

Beyond the more intangible elements of the show- if we were to get into the nitty gritty- the production level was spot on, as is pretty much expected by now for all productions of this size, and the acting was all incredible. The characters were really sold in their portrayals and lines, with a fantastic screenplay backed up by a pondering score. I will say, for a show only six episodes long, the plot felt a little disjointed, like it's stuck halfway between a narrative style and episodic style. I didn't mind that they started a new plot line every couple of episodes because it kept it fresh, but narratively it felt a little rushed. Perhaps we can chalk that up to production constraints and give them a little leeway.

All in all, a great show. Probably not a silly, fun comedy or romcom if that's what you're looking for, but if you're searching for something interesting and compelling and perhaps with something to say, you're in the right place. You won't be disappointed by the thought-out scenarios of the characters or the believable acting that occurs in them. With that, I will recommend this show.

A melodramatic Youth's struggle in life that has little to do with Bromance or Computers

I was waiting for this drama for about a year or so and was so excited when I watched the trailer
I liked the 90s retro style of it in the trailer and I thought it was similar to the American movie steve jobs success story but I was totally wrong
This drama is a piece of real life drama ,,, every hardship , every tough times ,, every painful thing that young men experience in their path towards success in work and love life too
I expected it would get better as they grow and evolve and I was totally wrong again ,,, but they succeeded for very short time then failed again and again and again similar to actual real life for most of us who didn't have it easy or handed to them
I like the realistic aspect of it but sometimes it was too overwhelming
It wasn't Steve jobs story after all ,,, they were not geniuses ,,, they were sales men and entrepreneurs of sorts
I can't forget how much I cried because of the main leads hardships and they cast the perfect young actor for it ,, he's one of the most talented and experienced professional young actor in china and it shows every time he plays a character from very young age
the plot made him older than his real age which was 20 years old when he shot this drama ,, they made him older than his co star who is older than him by four years ,, it was funny how New hao called him older colleague most of the time and he was definitely the older one ,, it sowed sometime the age difference between them
The main lead perfect acting immersed me in his life in this drama I believed so much that it was him that poor character when he cried I cried when he was ecstatic and happy I was happy
But it really hurt me when I saw that the plot made of him an example of failure in everything he tries so much to have
he wasn't lazy nor incompetent he was a survival with a very proud personality
The romantic story was very realistic too and okey not annoying and added so much to the plot
I liked the two female leads in it ,, they were really good for both characters
The Bromance or the friendship was really good but realistic too ,, they were separate most of the time but they kept in touch calling each other from time to time so My dreams of fantastic Bromance were out of the window but still the way the second male lead cried and cared for his best friend was touching

Big spoiler a head >>>>>>>>>

there was an episode that really broke me ,,,, when he carried corpses for a living after reaching rock bottom just to eat and when he ate he puked everything after that
that was gore ... pure cruelty to his character

after all that pain it ended with an open ending and very bad one so I'm waiting for season two and very disappointed with the Misérables plot of season one
Good luck if you decided watching it

This Drama shows that it doesn’t need a new Story to be outstanding

When you see the real facts, this BL isn’t Unique or Outstanding. We’ve got several Cliches, like the school setting, Enemys to Lover, first straight than gay because of the „One“ and even an indicated Love-Triangle.

But when it comes to acting, chemistry, and atmosphere, this one is almost perfect.
The Tragic of the unrequited Love is painfully noticeable just like the struggles of Zhou Shun Yi, thanks to both main actors who carry the whole Drama with their presence and their charisma.
So all in all I’m so happy that there is a second season announced because I want to see their Love growing and very excited about which way this story evolves.

Enjoyable Watch

I watched the 1 and 2nd season back to back. I was unsure about Dylan Wang to start with as thought Arthur Chen did a great job in Season 1. But after a few episodes I got used to Dylan and his chemistry with FL was very good. They changed some of the other cast and I did prefer the orignal. A lot of people found the first half dull as the 2 leads were constantly running away from those trying to kill them but I liked it best. I enjoyed the interaction of the leads and how loving they were with each other and the exciting fights as they tried to escape. Once they were separated and the it concentrated on the power struggle of the Palace, I skipped a lot, I just wanted the leads back together! I have mixed feelings on the ending, I would prefer a more definite no guessing ending, either way you could consider it a happy one. It has made me want to read the novel to see how the story really ends. I would say both seasons were as good as the other, different but equally enjoyable and easy watch.

Don't read reviews, justwatch it

There are only a couple of things you need to know.

1. This is not a BL (not really at least)
2. You will laugh a lot if you watch it
3. The last two episodes are incredibly moving, I cried and I don't cry easily
4. It is a brilliantly written, acted, produced drama, the cast is brilliant across the board

5. Just watch it and form your own opinion.

If you watch it you will be treated to a thought provoking story with incredibly likeable main cast members, they all get their moments to shine, a great storyline, that never feels rushed yet also never gets boring or bogged down and you will laugh and you will cry. Is there anything more you can ask of any drama?

There has never been any time loop C-dramas done before, so Reset is the first of its kind in C-dramaland. That being said, it was very well executed and left both domestic and internationally audiences in awe. For those who don't normally enjoy time travel/time loop dramas because they are either too complicated to understand, or have many plot holes and logical errors, this drama is something that they can enjoy. The story is easy to follow, things make sense overall, rules and principles are consistent throughout (they don't throw in deus ex machina to resolve problems like many other dramas do). The plot starts off a bit slow but picks up its pace as time goes by, and by ep.8 it becomes heart-racing.

Story
The synopsis on MDL says that four people enter a time loop, but in the drama, only two people actually enter the loop - the male and female lead. The female lead goes on a bus, the bus explodes and kills everyone in it, but the female lead wakes up and finds herself repeating the same bus ride over and over. She tries to tell the police about her experience, but no one believes her. Incidentally, she causes the guy sitting next to her on the bus, the male lead, to start experiencing the time loop with her. Together, they try to stop the explosion and save the people, while eventually getting to the bottom of it all. Of course, this takes many many tries, but each try gives them more information to work with. The story may not be new to many internationally audiences, especially if they have had exposure to movies of a similar nature like Source Code and Groundhog Day, but Reset manages to excel with an original take - the emotional factor. Many characters who I thought were just unimportant managed to have their own backstory and proper closure. For example, we got to understand more and connect with each character that was on that bus, who were from different walks of life and had their own life struggles and problems they were facing, some which led to them boarding this bus. Death was not just a number in this drama - it was the loss of people who had loved and were loved. And I think this drama portrays the sentiment behind this message very well.

Acting
The acting is also decent, the female lead is a fresh actress who hasn't had any experience portraying this type of character, but she managed to pull it off and also change people's impression of her. Her character has many humanistic flaws, very heroic, kind-hearted, but impulsive and easily judgmental towards others. Male lead is more logical, cautious, but at the same time a bit of a cowardice. It was good to see their development in the later stages. There were also a lot of seasoned actors who did amazing performances, most notably the main cop and the bomber.

Music
There's not much of music in this drama, but it isn't really needed. There are two OSTs with lyrics (?), and some background music to deliver the atmosphere of certain scenes. The music fitted the scenes well and did not break immersion.

Rewatch Value
I don't think this drama is meant to be rewatched, because a large part of the excitement comes from not knowing what will happen next. That being said, certain emotional scenes are probably worth going back to from time to time.

Overall, would definitely recommend this drama to everyone, it's a good drama even for people who are not normally into sci-fi or time-related genres.
