Didn't Work For Me

I didn’t like this, unfortunately. It just didn’t work for me. All it really had going for it was the great acting, some nice visuals, and solid chemistry between the leads. That’s it. The plot and story were just bad. I found myself skimming through a lot of it, to be honest.

The first episode was intriguing and gave me some hope, I was actually looking forward to the next one. But it just went downhill from there. Each episode got worse plot-wise. I don’t mind men crying (actually, I like it), but I do mind the main lead going through some new trauma every single episode, over literally nothing, and then the issue just gets dropped like it never happened, just to make space for the next. It got tiring. I considered dropping this way too many times but stuck around purely for the leads.

And seriously, if your NC scene is the best scene, that’s not a good sign.
Speaking of, the way this show handled sexual assault was disgusting. It was used as a plot device and then brushed off like it was just cheating??? No. That’s not cheating — it’s rape. Whether they end up sleeping together or not doesn’t change that. And of course, like always, the predator faces zero consequences. The whole Johnny arc made me so mad I literally dropped the show when it was airing. I only came back a month later because everyone kept calling it a masterpiece. (and too many smart boom videos on my fyp)

Also, sorry but… I found Jin a bit creepy too.

So yeah, all I have to say is: the plot was TRASH.

But, credit where it’s due: the acting, especially Boom was great. The leads had really good chemistry, like they genuinely fit. The visuals and cinematography were mostly nice. Some of the outfits were nice.
And Naru was an absolute cutie. I just had to say it.

A thought-provoking masterpiece

One of the most enjoyable and engaging shows for me from 2023. This drama evoked so many emotions and carried strong messages that resonated well with most of us. It was realistic, relatable and thought-provoking.

Zhang Ruo Yun and the other actors were excellent and the characters they played were well-written. Great character and plot development, and there was a feeling of gratification as certain “bad” characters were properly punished.

The OST was really fitting and many songs were memorable. Each piece was chosen well and served to heighten the appropriate mood or feeling.

Some viewers were not satisfied with the epilogue but I actually liked it. The ending fit the rest of the story which did not steer away from stark reality. Not everything ends up in a bed of roses and not every love story has a happy ending. It was more important for me to see the kids and teachers of Class 11 thriving in their own ways. The show succeeded in that aspect and left this viewer properly satisfied.

It’s been awhile since I’ve rated a show so highly and this show is a 10 for me.

romantic, sweet, lovely

This world, nor main couple were dumbed-down, to fit some tortured romantic scenerio. It has, no joyless revenge, or destruction of love. What it has; is a story you can follow; action twists, comedy relief; with characters you can hate, and some that will grow over time. There's enough angst and lakorn tropes for the vocal watcher - But, not enough to kill the joy in a burgeoning love story, that started out in the most cliche way possible. I highly recommend it for a light watch; a slow burn; with no regrets.

Great series!

I really love this series. Gun's acting was remarkable. I have a couple of complaints though.
First, Gram annoyed the hell out of me, like I get Black didn't treat Gene that great but come on dude, he's supposedly your friend. Idk, that just annoyed me.
Second, there's unanswered questions. Like when White was acting as Black, their dad didn't question where he went? Black fought those officers at the hospital but received no punishment, or he never got caught? Lastly, they all had classes but hardly attended?
Honestly, I would like a second season to see what everyone done after the last mission, like what was Black going to do? Also, would have loved more interactions with Dan and Yok. (I love FirstKhao but I still wanted moren🫣)
Overall, even with my complaints it's a great series, I would rewatch it!

I absolutely loved seeing this movie, and it was such an experience too. It's always nice to see behind the scenes footage of BTS, as it helps to remind all of us that they're real people who have bad days, get sick, and have silly arguments with each other about nothing. One of the most impactful scenes to me, was when we got to see Jungkook's personal struggle with his foot injury, and how he couldn't properly perform. It broke me seeing him blame himself for something he had no control over. But the best part of that, was seeing how hard the other members tried to cheer him up (it was honestly the most wholesome thing ever!). If you love BTS, and want a peek at a few months of their Love Yourself tour life, you should definitely watch this.

A Series With Purpose

It's not just a series made to show a show, it's a series with purpose. And that purpose is to show the truth of the life of the oppressed during the 1920's. The oppressed mainly women, gays, lesbians, and even the slaves were given the proper spotlight to highlight their lives and their struggles, which I think makes this series standout.

I Feel You Linger In The Air has an intense plot full of mystery and a slow-burn romance. It is fearless on showing everything that is beautiful and even the ugly. It is safe to say that this series revealed the soul of the characters.

Special mention to Bright and Nonkul for their masterclass level performance as Yai and Jom. Truly they study and embody their characters. Their outstanding chemistry transcends the screen which makes the viewers feel their eternal love for each other, truly we feel the love that lingers in the air and it will last for years. Hoping for a second season.

Delightfully awkward, refreshingly sexy and suprisingly empowering - the whole romcom package

Listen, this probably is not 9.0 out of 10.0 movie. The plot is thin, the pacing odd; I will gladly admit to all of that. But what can I say- I am not immune to the charm of a romance done right, and that is why Love and Leashes essentially is. But I am getting ahead of myself.
I was thrilled when I read the premise of this. I think the way sexuality has been tackled as a subject matter in K-dramas in the past has been sufficiently awkward and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen when kink got thrown into the mix, expecting to get a genuine gem or something so bad it just had to be good. I am happy to report that this movie definitely belongs to the first category.

Let’s start with the vanilla part of it all, before we dive into the plot. All the actors are pretty solid. Our male protagonist was a bit stilted and awkward at parts, but nothing that bothered me too much. While this movie isn’t overly sexual compared to Western films of the same genre, there are more than enough scenes that must have been pretty uncomfortable to film, but the chemistry between our leading pair stayed strong, so props to the actors. I thought they both brought a lot of charisma to their roles and I really enjoyed watching their dynamic evolve.
The cinematography is also pretty good. I can’t think of a word better than stylish. Sexy but not too much, to the point where it feels like you’re just looking at raw meat. In fact, this contains very little nudity but still managed to be pretty steamy, which I would largely attribute to the lighting. This is just very cool-looking sleek movie. The cinematography might not have been terribly creative overall but it definitely had its moments. I also thought the way this was cut added a lot of charm, the office scene (you will know which one hehe) especially stood out to me, I enjoyed it a lot.

Ok now let’s get to the meat (terrible choice of words, I apologize):

I haven’t read a single chapter of the webtoon, so I had absolutely no clue what the heck I was getting into but I can’t help but acknowledge how healthy this romance was! When it comes to bedroom-activities I want to everyone to do as they please as long as it is consensual. That being said, sexuality does not exist in a vacuum. I don’t want this review to be a deeper discussion of the ethics behind BDSM, as I for sure am not an expert on the subject, but it’s worth noting that, from a storytelling-standpoint alone, it’s difficult to justify why someone would get enjoyment out of beating the shit out of their partner. Dominant and submissive- these ideas are all about power. It is an incredibly delicate and difficult task to tackle that subject without immediately falling into unhealthy tropes. A story about such a relationship gone wrong can still be meaningful and interesting- but you have to be aware of the toxic dynamic as to not accidentally glamorize abuse. Many other stories have tried and failed the exact same thing (looking at you 50 Shades Of Grey) but for the first time ever I feel like I was offered a believable and healthy glimpse into the world of BDSM.

So what has this film done differently compared to other popular kinky franchises? Let’s first talk about the obvious: our dom is a woman. This might sound trivial to some people but for me this played a huge part in the power dynamic of this couple. As mentioned in the paragraph above, our typical relationship-patterns are not something that have appeared out of thin air. The woman taking a passive role and the man taking the dominating one- that is not a phenomenon that just sort of happened but the result of a deeply patriarchal society.
I want to avoid comparing this film to the 50 Shades-franchise too much because it’s simply too good to be branded as its Korean counterpart but since both tell, or at least attempt to tell the stories of women falling into the world of BDSM and finding sexual liberation, I will have to draw a few parallels:
In 50 Shades we have impressionable and painfully naïve Anna who is being coerced into her partner’s lifestyle. Christian is her first ever boyfriend and other than his attractiveness she virtually has zero reasons to be into him, as he tends to be extremely cruel to her, even outside of the bedroom where it’s all supposed to be part of the play. Anna never seems to make peace with her partners fetish, she just learns to love him despite that until he finally overcomes his trauma and gets over it.
Ji-woo on the other hand is confident and outspoken, those being the very reasons Ji-hoo starts to feel attracted to her. He treats her with immense respect, constantly making sure that she is okay with the whole thing, as he is worried about traumatizing her. She gives him the clear okay for a BDSM-relationship, does extensive research on the topic and gets to explore fetish on her own terms. Ji-woo takes an active part instead of just taking it. We actually see her find joy in taking the lead and being playful and kinky in the bedroom.
Our male love interest here, does not have to be taught to be vulnerable, it’s a core element of his part in the relationship. That alone made for a much healthier romance than I have seen in countless vanilla love stories. Neither does he have to overcome his kink, unlike Christian Grey. Instead Ji-hoo, while being aware and open about his his fetish, is still on a quest to find self-acceptance. This means that he, just like the female protagonist, has to grow into his role of the BDSM-partnership. Our pair gets to explore new things together because they are both equally inexperienced. There is balance in the unbalanced. Their power might be unequal in the bedroom but in the real world both characters maintain a healthy relationship as they figure out how to navigate a master/servant-dynamic together.
But the film doesn’t stay uncritical of the dangers that come with a kink built on an offset power-dynamic. Not only is there a scene dedicated to “fake-doms” abusing their power, our female protagonist herself has to learn the boundaries of her role. The film makes it clear that just because Ji-hoo is a submissive, does not mean that he is entirely passive or anything close to pathetic. Clear communication and respect are still what their relationship thrives off.

It makes a huge difference whether you’re watching a female character grow into the role of a submissive partner or a dominating one. I don’t want to give the impression that I think that every woman that enjoys getting spanked is singlehandedly upholding the patriarchy. As I said, everyone should do as they please as long as it’s consensual, but Love And Leashes makes a much better and more convincing case for female sexual liberation. And ultimately makes a more interesting story, especially taking cultural differences into account. While sexism is an issue everywhere, when it comes to emancipation, East Asia still has a very long way to go. Women being submissive isn’t just role-play, it’s the societal norm. So it is not surprising that Ji-woo expects her coworker to be the dominating type after learning of his fetish. That role already reflects what we as a society expect out of a man. But getting to see Ji-woo find genuine joy in fulfilling her role as a dom was strangely empowering to see. This was a genuinely educational, romantic glimpse into the BDSM-world. They treated the subject matter with the respect it deserves while still being lighthearted enough to work as a romcom and I can’t recommend it enough. While this might not strictly deserve the high rating I gave I think this charming film excels exactly at what it is trying to be with all its flaws and awkwardness. Love and Leashes is a must-see this Valentines-day for everyone looking for a refreshing take on a truly unconventional relationship.

Highly recommended drama

This drama is definitely worth watching. If you want to watch a light and calm drama, this is totally for you. It's sweet, funny, and cute, which will make you relax and enjoy watching it.

The story is very common, like a CEO falling in love with an employee. But it is so great that I definitely watch it again if I have a bad day, the comedy is not corny and it is surprisingly good.

The chemistry is great. I love how their characters grow with every episode. At first, I was a bit annoyed at the FL because she was being judgmental in her perspective about rich people. But I love her character development in the next episodes. I loved the ML, but I also didn't like how selfish he was for making the FL choose him over her dreams. But I'm glad he realized his mistake afterwards. The supporting characters also have a good story, and I'm glad they showed us some scenes of how their relationships develop throughout the episodes. Their acting skills are also undeniably good.

Btw, the OST is also good, especially the intro before the show starts. I'm singing it in my head every time because it's so catchy.

Hero is one of my favorite movies since I was 7. When it first came out my dad was the one who rented it and I saw it with him. The brilliant acting skills of Jet Li were a great advantage to the movie. The awesome fighting scenes were beyond words. They leave you speechless. I love the use of vibrant colors and how the story is given by having Namless be the one to tell the story. I keep rewatching this movie every once in a while since I was 7. When I was young I just liked how it had so much action and the colors since I would not finish reading the subs fast enough. And I would see it more I would love the movie more and understand better. The music as well is so calming and thrilling and adds to the spectacularness of the film. I couldn't have thought of another ending for this movie it suits it.

Real, maybe too much so

TL/DR: Watch it for realism and a beautiful brew of romance with terrific acting as well as characters who could be real people around you. Don't watch it if looking for pace, twists, inspiration and a solid ending. This drama is clearly not for everyone, and not because of the noona aspect of the romance. Having the context of Asian family culture is essential.

Long version:
This is a slow-paced, beautiful drama that is possibly the most realistic one you will ever watch. The episodes are long and contain long sequences of characters doing regular things. This may irk many but by showing everything happening, the series makes everything that occurs very realistic. We see the entire process of love; increasing attraction, the reluctance in making a move and the passionate bonding between the leads. The forbidden nature of their love is ever present in the air but immaturely swept under the carpet in manner that would be more befitting of teenagers than leads in their 30s and latter 20s. Yet, it is utterly believable. The casting of the drama is so perfect: Son Ye Jin looks her real age and so the noona romance is very strongly obvious since the beginning and I was really wondering why he would fall for her, especially in episode 1. Once they become a couple, Jina's lovingly cute nature is brought forth. The chemistry that the couple have is fantastic, their hugs, their teasing, their kisses were spontaneous and not melodramatically planned. The sismance between Jina and her friend, Kyungsun was the best I have ever watched. Their chemistry was romance-grade but more resilient.
Realism: The characters could very well be flesh and blood characters, even the mother and the way events unfold are also so real. Real life has a catch; it usually is not inspiring. Jina starts standing up for herself and uncharacteristically becomes the spearhead of a campaign against sexual harassment in the office. How it occurs and what she does is the way a real person who is not an 'activist-kind' would act. The final result of the action is also what might have generally occurred. Joon Hee's deadbeat father feels guilt but doesn't show it and though attempting to help, contributes less than nothing, exactly as would be expected from someone of that nature. Jina's mother never understands her daughter and does not realize how selfish she really is, which makes us want to strangle her, but a person like her would really not change. Jina's father alternates between playing the strong one who supports his daughter, quite comically at times, and the passive one who just goes along with his wife. The realism of these and even the office workers really was touching.
Nevertheless, the realism is also the problem. The story is not inspiring in any way. Nothing ends in a satisfactory way. It is not as if characters become stupid and implode; they just act like it would happen in real life and real life is seldom satisfactory when resolving difficult situations. When the odds are stacked against a lead, they might be expected to win in a drama but the odds would win in real life. So, what transpires is that the fightback against circumstances is passionate but not fully committed. Jina struggles a lot but she makes up excuses to give in and compulsively lie to cover up, even to herself. It is just the way she is. A non-hero does not become truly heroic all of a sudden. Joon Hee was truly hard done by how things turned out and Jina's cowardice felt like a betrayal but isn't it true that most romances are fleeting and all the passion and promises are conveniently forgotten after a while? If we are looking for loyalty to true love, we would be disappointed with the characters but given how few believe in true love, a real Jina coming from that type of family would have acted exactly like that. One cannot suddenly abandon careers (and visa is not a non-issue).
The middle section of the drama was a deadlock that ended in disaster. The ending felt too rushed and was disappointing in the context of the rest of the drama even though it could be termed happy. There was no finish: we felt like we would see another loop. Maybe that was the intention but it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth as there was no breakthrough and no change of heart either. Pointless, as even long journeys in real life can be.
OST: There is no background score which furthers the feel of real life and the OST has some beautiful songs which unusually are all in English ( the 90s kind) but the same songs were overused and more original tracks would have been nice. The songs work better if the series is not marathoned as they do complement the romance. The romance is worth a rewatch.

I had an adjumma crush on LJK after watching Iljimae and wanted to see everything he had starred in, both dramas and movies. I came across this on Netflix. I watched the first disc from Netflix and immediately went and ordered the entire drama! I've never done this before. Never have I been swept into a drama so thoroughly that I immediately wanted to own it! The action, superb; the story, excellent; the acting, phenomenal! I became an obsessed fan of LJK after this. This drama is on my computer, iPad so it travels with me. There are very few moments where this drama is uninteresting. It takes you to Korea and Thailand; showing you the darker sides very well. I was hoping when LJK returned from service he would do another action drama but because I have totally faith in his acting ability, I am looking forward to whatever he does in the future. I don't want to give away any plot lines in this review, let's just say I highly recommend this to all, you will not be disappointed!

far better than the original...

While the original dragged on for ever this version is very compact. The "Ai" and "Rak" characters were played very similar while the "Kaishin" and "Mut" characters are quite different. The japanese version is less fluff and more animalic in the first half. The story plays out in the same fashion with the difference that the GL "to be" couple is far less abnoxious.

Now that MDL changed the episodes there are two special episodes after that but MDL could not be bothered to add them in the index yet. I felt the finale was a bit disappointing even with an happy end for all. The acting was far superior to the original series, the chemistry was there and they did not hold back in the NC-scenes either. Production quality was also high but less polished to the original series, so imho it felt more "natural".

Overall I prefer this compact version compared to the thai version which felt boring most of the time. So, if you didn't like the original version, chances are high, that you will be more comfortable with this version.

Update: Because MDL does not have an entry for the special episodes I like to mention them here. They are much more finale then ep 10 imho. Which rounds up the series nicely.

Major Leads w/ NO chemistry and recycled storyline

As many reviewers mentioned, this is not worth the time unless you're looking for a new xianxia drama or you're a huge fan of Zhao Lusi. I skipped a through a lot. It was ok since there weren't any other good dramas to watch. But I won't rewatch it.

The Good:
- costumes
- production quality was decent

The Bad:
- plot/storyline was literally recycled and blended copy cat parts of Ashes of Love, Eternal Love, Love & Destiny. Too many similarities it was distracting
- the main issue I have is the utter lack of chemistry between the lead couple. I really like the ML and FL actors in their other works. But they just fell flat in this one. I just didn't feel the emotional yearning to root for them as a couple, which is essential for these types of dramas (i.e. Ashes of Love, Eternal Love)
- the ML (Wang An Yu) : I've only seen this actor in one other series To Fly w/ You, his acting was so good and his chemistry w/ the FL (Song Zu Er) was off the charts. In this Last Immortal series he just could not pull off the screen presence of a stoic, larger than life High God of Chaos. He came across as goofy and too soft hearted, and his acting lacked depth.
- the FL (Zhao Lu Si) - tends to be type-casted w/ as the cutesy, gutsy female lead. Which she played that part well as A Yin. But when she became the Lord Phoenix Feng Yin - she was not likeable at all. She didn't quite have the depth to play the jaded, badass female heroine w/ conflicted soft yearning heart for her true love (for example Yang Mi in Eternal Love). She jsut came across as an icy statue.

Will ‘ Dr Park’s Clinic’ Treat Your Expectations?

TVING originals have long been held in regard by critics and viewers alike for slick cinematography and shots. However, ‘ Dr Park’s Clinic’ was an odd anomaly. The series’ shaky camera shots and editing presented the series as surprisingly mediocre for a TVNING original; a low-budget sitcom which whilst heartwarming in necessary parts, often struggled to truly deliver the last laugh.

Adapted from former doctor Jang Bong-Soo’s popular webcomic, the series revolved around Doctor Park Won Jang ( Lee Seo-jin); a seemingly third-rate doctor who has just opened his first medical clinic.

Despite constantly worrying about his recent onset of alopecia and his wife Sa Mo-Rim’s ( Ra Mi-Ran) overspending , Doctor Park’s dreams of becoming an affluent doctor are soon scuppered when his patient numbers begin to dwindle. Determined to turn things around, Doctor Park decides to do his utmost to save his clinic, even if it means unintentionally making things worse along the way…

Perhaps one notable thing to comment about the series is that ‘ Dr Park’s Clinic’ is a fairly lighthearted series for the most part. Whilst the series does delve into some darker and angst-ridden subject areas at times ( especially by the latter-half), screenwriter and director Seo Joon Bin was able to uplift the mood of the series with regards to one of the drama’s most questionable presences; the comic relief.

Admittedly it isn’t out of the question for a comedy series to experiment and diversify between different formats. This can often allow a series to reiterate satire, offer angst-free respite or even play around with wry comedy.

However one of the most apparent faults with screenwriter Joon Bin’s style is attempting miserably to strike a balance between being a jovial sitcom (fourth wall-breaking and comical setups ) and a more bittersweet , satirical brand of comedy ( particularly with its jokes surrounding capitalism, brands, medical condition and South-Korean work and social culture) but ended up doing both formats a disservice.

Admittedly ‘ Dr Park’s Clinic’ did attempt to offer viewers some emotional punches- a revelation from Dr.Park’s “tragic” past, several angst-ridden moments as well as a surprisingly uplifting and crisp ending along the way were specifically placed to evoke a twinge of sympathy and pity for viewers. Nevertheless, heartfelt moments were admittedly less impactful in the the long-term memory of viewers who will likely forget these moments after completing the series.

Lee Seo-jin ( ‘ Damo’, ‘ Yi San’ and ‘ Marriage Contract’) starred as main lead Park Won Jang, whilst costar Ra Mi-Ran ( ‘ The Himalayas’ ’, ‘ The Avengers Social Club’ and Black Dog ‘ ) played Won Jang’s wife and main female lead Sa Mo-Rim. Respectfully whilst both main leads’ performances could across as somewhat corny in parts, Ra and Lee offered solid performances throughout, with Ra Mi-Ran notably adding a surprisingly endearing charm to her onscreen persona.

The supporting cast offered decent performances. Whilst there were admittedly some strained deliverances of dialogue and acting, the supporting cast were able to offer some surprising charm during other moments in the drama.

In particular, the supporting cast included Cha Chung Hwa ( ‘ Harmony’, ‘ Black’ and ‘ Pawn’) as witty head nurse Choi Mi Young, Shin Eun Jung ( ‘East of Eden’, ‘ Faith’ and ‘ Navillera’) starring as angelic-faced yet acerbic- tongued Dr. Sun Woo Soo Jin , Kim Kwang Gyu ( ‘ Friend’, ‘ Scent Of A Woman’ and ‘ I Can Hear Your Voice’) playing mixed coffee-enthusiast , obstetrician and gynecologist Ji Min-Ji, Jung Hyung-Suk ( ‘ A Mystery Of The Cube’, ‘ The Banker’ and screenwriter and director for ‘ The Land of Seonghye’) as director of the urology department, whilst Seo Bum Jun ( ‘ Nevertheless’, ‘ Rookie Cops’) played the head nurse’s son and Joo Woo Yeon as well as child actor Kim Kang Hoon ( ‘ Mr Sunshine’, ‘ When The Camellia Blooms’ and ‘ Racket Boys’) took on the roles as Park’s two sons.
Due to the short length of the series, ‘ Dr Park’s Clinic’ is able to maintain a pacy speed throughout its duration. Naturally, the expedited narrative pacing did create a double-edged sword; fast-pacing helping to deescalate potentially tedious setups and scenarios, whilst sadly rarely giving opportunities and time to explore its odd array of characters and potentially tour de force moments either.

The cinematography of the series is notably a mixture of amateurish and surprisingly basic shots, as well as some insightful glimpses into the lives of our main characters. Whilst simplicity isn’t always necessarily bad per say, it could sometimes reduce opportunities in order to explore the intuitive shots or boast slick and unobstructed editing and cutting. The OST is also notably faintly memorable for viewers; helpful for promoting emotive moments and tones, but rarely delivering an impactful presence either.

Uplifting, lighthearted and melodramatic in parts, ‘ Dr Park’s Clinic’ is specifically what it says on the tin: a social comedy about a mediocre clinic with an array of eccentric characters being introduced onto the scene. The acting performances are decent enough but the deliverance of comic relief is admittedly variable. Perhaps the comical exchanges will generate a few laughs for audiences, whilst others may be dissatisfied by the generic setups and comical elements along the way. Overall, ‘ Dr Park’s Clinic’ is a decent binge-watch; watchable but lacking a certain memorable edge also.

Though I heard of this movie since I was in primary school I never actually watched it until today. Battle Royal is not just a movie, it's an existencial question: when the only rule is "to kill or be killed" ,what is the human being capable of doing? how will he behave?

STORY: The storyline is pretty simple and I even thought there were some "holes" in it but -as I said before- the -frightening- existencial question behind it draws the viewer's attention and makes him wonder "what if...".

ACTING/CAST: The acting is pretty average but it's actually a good thing because if the actors had acted too well the movie would have been unbearable to watch (I still shiver when I think of the delirious smile of the students-turned-crazy-murderers).

MUSIC: What I liked the more about the music isn't the music itself but its use. Classical music when used in a movie/series about normal-people-turning-cray-because-they-have-to-face-death adds something twisted/dark/cynical to it. The use of the slow, peaceful and beautiful music contrasts with what is happening and helps build this almost suffacating athmosphere.

REWATCH VALUE: I don't think this movie could be watched on a daily basis "just for fun". Like I said, the movie in itself isn't that good but it's this question behind it.

OVERALL: The movie is definitely a must-watch (except if you are already a freaking murderer or murderer-to-be). Points of view may differ but I believe the "best" part of it all isn't the blood and the killing but the way each character faced this bloody game and thus it makes us reflect on us.
