foofwi Holy heck that scene with the student could’ve ended HORRIDLY but I’m so glad she had him leave. I feel ZERO empathy for her husband’s mother or his mistress. Plotting for years against a woman who just wanted a family is crazy work. May ALL of them get the punishment they deserve.

HOLY HECK??? Now THAT was an insane episode to watch omg. I genuinely feel so bad for the FL like this is an entire mind fuck of a situation. Not only is she having to worry about an affair but now there’s assets involved?! Betrayal from the one person who seemed to be on her side?! Bro I can’t blame her if she literally snaps and takes everyone out atp. I would too honestly.

i haven't laughed this hard or enjoyed film this much - since... ever?! the plot is so hard to follow and the subtitles fly by faster than i can read them, but everything about this series is... so far... to love. even the way prince chu's eyebrows do different things than each other. OH and what about the brocade? we kinda stopped weaving a few episodes ago. better get back to the hobby before someone notices.

I’m so glad she just up and let the student have all the info lmao. As much as it def hurt him, I’m glad that whole plot line was put to rest even if he still goes after her. Anyways, her friend is so real with the stuff she shares with her. It’s honestly crazy how dense the FL’s husband is to all the emotions / tensions around him. AND THAT ENDING?! Bro that was an insane way to end it 😭

Sweet0Girl I hate that they have to keep relationship secret but I get it. Too many gossips and crazy people at work. I hated that she did not tell him her ex was singing in the wedding band now. I do like that she acknowledges that she is jeolous of his relationship with Ms. Choi for no reason.I hate that scandalous executive and that the guy with the kids may betray him but I'm hoping he will ac tually be the counter. I really hate office politics and peopel trying to sabatoge a co-workers efforts.

I'm sorry. But the whole Prince-Xin-was-really-playing-the-fall-guy-to-help twist was just stupid. It really felt like the writer fell in love with the character and used this single conversation -- which made NO sense to have been granted -- between Xin and the Crown Princess to transform him from a pathetic obsessed psycho creep into .... a heroic martyr? Gimme a break. Did the writer just watch the final Harry Potter film before penning this chapter and decide to borrow the Severus Snape plot line? This whole conversation that revealed this was just a giant waste of screen time because it made ZERO difference to the plot. Yes, he it's true that his rebel actions cemented her legitimacy because she stopped him. But that would be true even if truly WAS rebellious. So this whole sudden 'reveal' about Prince Xin ultimately has ZERO impact on the entire rest of the story other than to salvage his character a bit in the minds of the viewers. It feels cheap and manipulative. Other than that, the rest of the episode was awesome, with some great gamesmanship and a much more important 'reveal' at the end that really adds a lot to the picture of the Emperor and what happened 20 years ago.

jeoneungd Another trope with a tennis theme, lacks originality to be honest. And definitely lacking character development. Thad unfortunate because their chemistry looks good. I’ve seen better story telling from KBL regarding sports theme matches with only 20 -30 minute episodes.

When you think about it, this story is tragic all around. She’s mentally breaking down the more she knows and experiences. The student is falling into a trap and it’s looking like he’s going to end up hurt in this whole mess when he has zero fault for the decisions of the adults in his life. The FL’s son is losing both of his parents as they both spend more time out of the home. Like man. The layers to this plot is insane. Also, I do hope this whole plot line of the FL targeting the student ends soon. It’s getting uncomfortable to the max 😭

I’m watching this drama solely because of the hype I read on Hou Minghao’s acting in this drama. I hope I can finish it. It’s episode 24 and basically anyone and everyone can hurt the Godess. She has no power to defend herself even though she fixed the Baize token in this episode. She’s annoying.

Nah bro this just keeps getting more and more insane 😭 There’s so many twists and while I don’t agree with her targeting a kid, I get it. You can also see how she’s mentally breaking down little by little with every new development. I genuinely hope she’s able to get a good ending with her child, but the way things are going I’m not sure that’s even an option.

NLE They always love introducing a third person into the couple 😂 So the nephew saw his uncle holding hands with Ainosuke on the street. I’m not sure why he’s trying to make a move and asking if Ainosuke is single. This is so common in BL, always introducing a third wheel, but honestly, I’m all for it 😂

I genuinely was not expecting to be blown away by the directing, editing, and acting (specifically from the FL) in this. I got literal chills towards the end of that first ep and while the concept isn’t new or fresh, the way it’s presented is so good! I’m definitely looking forward to how things are going to progress especially since the FL seems extremely unhinged already.

This episode had so much happening. Chang Tai strikes first with assassins followed by troops, coming in determined to kill his father and anyone in his way. The action is fierce and brutal with several signific deaths. We get some important bonding between Hua Yong and his father. And of course we get the long-anticipated-yet-painfully-too-soon death of Hua Yong in a beautifully filmed cinematic death scene. A tragically sad outcome, but overall the makings of a fantastic episode. The only glitch is that the director or editor or both ended up really, really dragging out some of the scenes with loooooong pauses and meaningless monologues. Chang Tai's death scene was just absurdly too long and pointless. That was a lot of wasted screen time. And then the long drawn out scene where Xi He is racing back to find Hua Yong and he is walking slowly out to find her. That was stretched out absurdly long. The other oddity was with the aftermath of the initial battle, the scene with just the Emperor and Hua Yong - where the heck were all the guards and servants? Why was everybody else suddenly vanished from that part of the palace? It really seemed weird. And that strange state of 'no one around' continued through the final scene with Hua Yong and Xi He.

we get a full-on sweet storyline episode as our leads enjoy multiple romantic moments and the pleasant surprise of learning that Xi He is pregnant. This episode is wonderfully cheesy without any sense of shame for doing so. Lots of sentimentality. Of course, we all know that this goodnesss won't last and just means bad things are coming ...

By the end of this episode, the Crown Prince has saved Prince Xin's life multiple times now. And Xin's outlook on his brother is clearly affected. The guy is still a delusional psychopath and I don't believe for a second that he will ever give up his insane obsession with Xi He. But this investment by the Crown Prince in saving his brother's life hopefully will pay off somehow down the line? Meanwhile, CP is presented with yet another accusation against his father as the one who poisoned him. That's now a lot of fingers pointing at the Emperor, but .... it seems too obvious. Feels like a misdirection by the show writer. I suspect that there is still some big truth that is yet to be revealed.
