She finally confessed! This took some time, but it was worth it! And the kiss after? Wonderful! 🥰 Now I need see if she has removed the bell. 🫣Prince Xie was somewhat useful in this episode by helping with the battle near Tingzhou City and later escorting Huayong and Xihe... Him feeding Huayong was so funny! 😅But them letting Prince Ding flee the battlefield really surprised me. He's a traitor to the country and was surrounded by the northern army, yet he could still escape? 🤷♀️🤨 But his ambition cost him very high price — Princess Ding cut her own throat because she was too tired of being used as a shield in her husband's chase for power. 😔

Pues creí que en este episodio iban a decirnos si sí o sí no, con respecto al supuesto bebé, pero como dejaron con la intriga igual que en el capítulo anterior, pues, no tengo muchas opiniones al respecto(positivas)

"Why wait for snow to make a wish? I can fulfil your wish" OKAAAYYY!! ___________________________ It's clear now who is the brother of Ling something guy (gang leader). Now that mask dude remains. I have a feeling things are gonna get messy

Knot suffers from poor writing, directing and editing. The main leads are a bit stiff and one lead is written/acted out as a child rather than a 24yo, it’s jarring. This could have probably benefited from another year of production

I’m not sure where the writers are going with this series. It started in a high note like most C-dramas and like 99% of C-dramas it ends with a sour note. The ratings are going downhill I believe because of storyline fatigue. For great actors to play senseless roles and I mean impossible roles to happen in life, the writers should have maintained a variety of challenges for our leads. Oh but it’s the same evil gangs doing the same evil deeds, and the same argument between emperor and our FL, their push and pull is very tiring. And what about the chancellors? The same issue. I longed for someone important to die at this point to. Ring me to depths that makes it emotional, not comical. Is this a love story? But there is chemistry bubbling up, just two persons who share a similar interest. So what is this really all about? I will probably pause from here until the series ends sonI can skip episodes and just see if these two get together. I already have a feeling who’s behind the mask, and it’s someone very close to the Emperor, some near his age so I stopped guessing a while back. New shows coming up so time to switch.

This episode brought Jihyuk and Jiwon so much closer. They shared their knowledge of the future and joined forces to change her fate! 😌🤗 However, it's quite sad that he didn't reveal the truth of how he ended up in 2013. But I get it — after learning that fate is inevitable, he's very hesitant to give them a chance as a couple, because they would have an end date... 😟But it seems like by the end of the episode he came around to that idea, and the trigger for that change of heart might have been his fear for Jiwon's life. 🥹"I want to be solid land." Something Jiwon has wanted for years and he's finally ready to give. 🥰🫂And Minhwan getting closer to Sumin means Jiwon's plan is working well... 😌P.S. For a few episodes now, there's been a little thought circling in my head that Eunho and Huiyeon would be a perfect couple — she loves food and he loves to cook! 😅

Got goosebumps most of the time here. 🥺That scene where she ate those few-days-old leftovers just to initiate the vomiting process... I'm just happy it didn't bring any other reflexes to me than tears. 🫣And, damn, I really do love Ling. The way he cares for people is so heartwarming. He's like the protector of the poor and weak, but acts against the rich and corrupt, reminding me a lot of Robin Hood in some ways. 🥹🤗My favourite scene, however, might be the one where the wedding and funeral delegations met between those arches of the Fu family. That moment led us back to the opening scene of the drama, concluding this arc of FL and Fu family's backstory. I absolutely loved it — the music was spot on, the aesthetics were breathtaking, and the colour choices outstanding. 🤩🤌And now they'll be on the road to the capital — plenty of time to have many different situations that will let them grow closer, learn more about each other, and eventually fall in love! 😉❤️

The Road to Splendor Episode 4

Betrayal is the most painful when it is done by the one we care about and this drama has such an unbelievable level of betrayal.Finished all 4 episodes and got to admit that this drama started with a bang!!!As always, episode 1 can be overwhelming with the many characters and scheming people but it easily caught my attention ever since.Ding Yuxi is stunning as the smuggler ML and Ancy Deng is insane!!! She was so total in portraying her role. Perfection! She looked all noble as the great 9th young lady. Smart, beautiful, graceful and elegant then looking so young and vulnerable after life taught her the painful facts. The cinematography is beautiful. If this is not a high budget drama, then the director must have allocated the budget into producing the drama. I did not check out before but he also directed my lovely dramas TLOS, GOTD & TPOB so I am confident that he will not disappoint.Definitely a satisfying start and I hope it will continue this good. Planned to just watch 1 episode, now I am rather impatient for more episodes.

Higashino Keigo Mysteries Episode 9

i love these kitschy episodes ,it’s breaking up my early prejudice & adding like a lot of variety to this show. it also depthens our different protagonists to see how much distinct life each of them have. i will say , , , we were slowly winding down this ending with ominoua things being revealed after sakurai’s arrest but then we just pull a prank+gag at the end & not address the flush she heard from his apartment. i don’t think she mis±heard that or confused it with a different apartment but i guess they want you to concentrate pn thAt reveal just to make fun of both yoiu & her at the end.

don't tell me the 2nd ML actually killed his brother to stop him from getting together with the FL as that would be crazy

Don't Be Too Emotional Episode 7

I'm not fond of time jumps; they are good when used properly, but they are misused often. The writers* did a good job of avoiding the usual pitfalls of moving the story forward, skipping years, without creating that sense of dissonance often found when not done properly. At this point in the story, I would say that both Janes are red flags. One has trust issues because he stopped trusting himself, while the other one has good intentions but bad communication skills (in matters of the heart) and only knows how to manipulate and build high walls. But it's ok; this is what makes this story engaging. So far, neither of them is evil, just flawed like most people. I said writers, as I have not read the source material

At this point it is very, very clear that the other various Princes share almost no genetic connection with the Crown Prince because ... every single one of the other Princes is mentally damaged. Either they are simply dumb as a post such as Prince Lie, insanely insecure to the point of incompetency such as Prince Ning and Prince Yu or outright psychopaths the way power-mad Prince Ding and creepy Prince Xin are. The fact that Crown Prince Hua Yong is actually sane is strong evidence for the theory that HIS dad is perhaps NOT the Emperor, but rather his late Uncle, the true heir to the former Emperor. And that this may be why he was poisoned as a child.? At any rate, this episode features more evidence that Prince Ding (who wasn't actually poisoned in prior episodes) is freaking insanely jealous and power-hungry and orchestrates a betrayal and near slaughter of the Shen family. Interestingly his wife (played by actress Snow Kong, once again paired up with an absolute psycho after having been stuck with one in Pursuit of Jade) is showing to be not the nutcase displayed earlier and tries to talk him out of his power-mad pursuits. One wonders if she will act against his insane actions later? And finally we get to the absolute creepiest, obsessive psychopath Prince Xin, who has resorted to following and literally hanging around outside the Crown Princess' room at night - even when he knows the Crown Prince is inside WITH her!!! He has become an outright stalker and is not hiding it. His stated strategy is that he will wait for the Crown Prince to die and for her to change her mind and accept him? It's truly insane because if the woman truly is his former wife returned he should know that she already killed herself once rather than stay alive as his wife!!! She's told him again and again that she will NEVER be with him. Yet he obsessively persists. Clearly at this point the only way to get rid of this psycho is for him to die. The story will probably drag that out to the very end so it has a disgusting creep to taunt us viewers with.

To be betrayed by your friend like this? I wonder what karmic punishment Yake will get for this. 🤨 It's very possible that Madam Yu might be right and her son doesn't really love Yake as he claims. That would be punishment enough for her for betraying Tingyun. 😒I was right to be cautious about the Fu family. Even though they are not much of villainous schemers, they definitely hold their name and status higher than the people in their family, and that alone makes me dislike them. Grandma didn't really put that much of an effort into clearing Tingyun's name... She just chose to discard the precious, treasured granddaughter, because there will be others who carry their polished name. 🤦♀️😞And what's with Moxing's death? So unexpected! Did someone kill her? One of the Zuo siblings? I bet they would be capable of that! 😯Huh, and now the real plot for our leads will start — Ling will answer Tingyun's call and save her, bringing them both finally together... 😏
