NoirRoex With no evidence to prove what she did, the team needs a confession. She is compelled to give it once a victim of her actions tries to kill herself.Again, still not so great in the police station. But in the hospital the drama unfolds and her true character emerges. She cares about her friend and regrets that it resulted in her assault too.7.5/10

Sweet0Girl Much better second ep and we see Isoo starting to think and analyze the facts and evidence for himself. I was like there's no way Mr. Choi is dying...The end credit scene was very interesting.

The girl finishes her story and we are told that the victim did not stop with assault. He threatened her with pictures of her putting her clothes back on after the assault in her family home in front of her blind mother. She continues to give a solid performance.That is until it goes back to the investigative room. Again, it becomes a bit campy in the investigation room. Rather than a real questioning or dramatic questioning it seems like it is mimicking one without the gravity of the situation. The investigators lines are fine, it's just too formulaic and doesn't provide the right ambiance for that moment. Her performance in the interogation room switches to match their energy which is less in tune with the subject matter. Rather than being her character, she becomes a bit of a caricature of a villain. Which might be the problem when the drama is in the interrogation room. The officers become caricatures instead of individual characters.7.5/10 - the girls performance is doing the dramatic heavy work. Her story is interesting until it smacks up against the detectives more camp energy.

I am glad they moved to just telling the girls story vs. the detectives doing a Q & A. She has presence and was able to carry the episode with the victim (assaulter). He is a true villian and the story becomes compelling and interesting once she starts giving background on her assault.8/10 - we watch the motivations unfold in a well performed and cut way

Genuinely just amazed at how much chemistry you can feel between the leads. I like the idea that in every universe they’re connected like the ML said. I also really like how despite time having passed, he still stands up for her in his own way when others just don’t get her. I really hope they don’t ruin his character man 😭

They slowed it down a lot and revealed a lot about 3 active suspects and motivations and finally utilized a 3rd investigators abilities in getting information. I like that they slowed down the pace to focus on the human drama this episode. Nothing spectacular and a bit campy at times but it seems to be establishing an even pace now. 7.0/10

This episode is mostly treading water for Jingjing as she pulls back within herself to deal with what happened and YuTu wanders about looking for a way to fix things now that he's starting to realize that it was HE that broke things. Not his job. Not his filial duty to his parents. Not anyone else but HE himself who was the jerk to both women in his past. He's starting to grow up emotionally first with realization that he has an impact on other's emotions and now he needs to find a skill with which to try to fix things. Because up to now, he has no such skills. The best, most powerful moment is when he visits his home and revives and old computer and looks at old group chat messages by Jingjing from way, way back that reveal how hard she was trying to bridge the gap between her and him. The picture those chats paint is a brutal, painful indictment of what a total jerk he was to her and, well, to others as well.. This is a painful moment of enlightenment that he has been an emotional cripple and that he has hurt people because of it. The next powerful moment is a great conversation with his mother who gives him some powerful wisdom by simply reminding him that he doesn't have to be the best at everything.

This drama has hit the other side of the spectrum. Rather than jumping to conclusions, they are slowly spoon feeding the audience. It took them a while to get to an easy point, however they are showing the audience slowly each step. I appreciate this much more than the jumping to conclusions version. Here they talk about why the victim had two cups out fairly near each other on his desk. They speculate again but their is actual theory and logic attached to it. And it make valid sense. It leads them to conclude the victim took medicine. They find the medicine and try to use it to push for an autopsy. Now, for me the order of this is wrong. But the episode end with them speculating something (not revealed in this episode but possibly next episode). They reach this conclusion after seeing one detective smash down several pieces of bread to eat in one go.For me, I wonder, how these people who are so suspicious of everything didn't get suspicious when the body was found with 5 times the normal does of medicine. Beggars can't be choosers. It seems they will get there next episode.7/10 - meeting the basics and a rhythm is starting. Let's go!

It was a decent episode. I think the transistion to the new FL was done well and not that big of a deal. What bothered me the most is that they had Isoo kinding going back to his old ways. He is also supposed to be someone who can see things other people can't so him being so nonchalant about the 1st bomb seemed uncharacteristic to me. Hopefully, the episodes get better b/c the 1st season was my favorite show of 2024.
