My Lulu and Leilei

I’ve really been enjoying The First Jasmine so far. The storyline is engaging, and what stands out to me the most is how carefully every character has been written. You can tell that a lot of attention has been paid to even the smallest details, which makes the story feel more immersive and meaningful. As usual, every episode brings its own story, emotions, and character development. No episode feels repetitive because each one adds a new layer to the journey of the characters, making me even more invested in their growth and relationships. The production quality, cinematography, and OST are also beautifully done and add so much emotion to the drama. Im still hoping for a happy ending, but we’ll have to wait and see how the story unfolds. On a personal note, Bai Lu has been one of my favorite actresses for years. Many of her dramas are on my rewatch list, and every year i look forward to her new projects. As for Cheng Lei, ive watched several of his dramas before, but it was through The First Jasmine that i truly realized how much i love his charisma and screen presence. He has definitely become one of the male actors who left a strong impression on me.Overall, i love this drama not only because of the story itself but also because of Bai Lu and Cheng Lei. Cant wait to see how everything ends. Lets continue supporting them and help boost all the ratings! ^^

An absolute masterpiece

This episode seriously deserves every praise from the moment it started to the last scene it was perfection. The amount of symbolism and detail in every scene is amazing and the way we go from quiet moments to seeing tanrak's turmoil all ending up in heightened tension and the most beautiful confession in the history of bl. Everything from the cinematography, the musical score, the dialogues and the phenomenal acting was perfect

liked the vibe of the 1st ep even if i wasn't…

liked the vibe of the 1st ep even if i wasn't sure who was whom (other then the mains) from the comments' am guessing there is a 2nd couple. but what is going on & why Feng Qing Lang acting the way he is - is it down to him being "...At the peak of his career, top celebrity..." or his personality is just "douchebag-ish"?!? what i know that i like Xu Chang Yang, like how he is just rolling with the punches & not letting Qing Lang attitude & rude behavior faze him. but given the conversation between Chang Yang & Qing Lang's younger brother am i right in assuming he has had a long time crush on the older celeb?!? or he a fan??? need to watch more to get the correct lay of the land. but enjoyed this ep

Ticket to Heaven EP4 absolutely broke my heart. What makes this episode so powerful isn't the big dramatic moments—it's the quiet pain. After finally opening up to his feelings, Tanrak is forced to confront the reality of what those feelings mean within the world he's grown up in. The conflict between faith, family, community, and love feels heavier than ever, and you can see the weight of it crushing him little by little.Fourth's performance in this episode is phenomenal. He barely needs words to communicate what Tanrak is going through. The fear, confusion, guilt, longing, and helplessness are all visible in his eyes. There were several scenes where you could feel his emotions before he even spoke, and that's what makes the character so compelling.Barth also shines in EP4. While Tanrak is trapped in his own battle, Barth becomes the emotional anchor of the story. His patience, sincerity, and unwavering care for Tanrak make every interaction between them feel incredibly genuine. He isn't trying to change Tanrak—he just wants Tanrak to be honest with himself. What I love most about this episode is how it refuses to take shortcuts. It doesn't treat the central conflict as something that can be solved with a single conversation. Instead, it shows how complicated it is when love collides with deeply rooted beliefs and expectations. The series handles these themes with sensitivity and nuance, making the characters feel real rather than symbolic. The waterfall scenes were especially beautiful. The cinematography captures both the freedom and sadness of the moment, creating a striking contrast between the beauty of nature and the emotional turmoil the characters are experiencing. Every frame feels intentional, and the soundtrack only makes the emotions hit harder.EP4 left me with a heavy heart. It wasn't an episode about answers—it was an episode about pain, uncertainty, and the difficult journey toward self-acceptance. By the end, I wasn't just rooting for Tanrak and Barth as a couple; I was rooting for them to find peace, no matter how difficult the path ahead becomes.A heartbreaking but beautifully crafted episode. 10/10.

Ticket to Heaven EP3 is easily the strongest episode so far. What impressed me most was how beautifully it portrayed Tanrak's inner conflict. He's no longer confused about what he's feeling—he knows exactly what his heart wants, but accepting it means challenging the beliefs he's held onto his entire life. Watching him struggle between faith, guilt, and love was heartbreaking and incredibly realistic. The writing shines through the small moments. Every glance, every touch, every awkward silence between Tanrak and Barth carries so much meaning. The jealousy surrounding Cherry wasn't there just to create drama—it helped Tanrak realize how deeply he cares about Barth and how impossible it has become to ignore those feelings.Fourth delivered an outstanding performance in this episode. You can feel every emotion through Tanrak's eyes alone. At the same time, Gemini gave Barth so much warmth and vulnerability. Beneath his playful personality, Barth is also scared—scared of rejection, scared of losing his closest friend, yet brave enough to be honest about who he is.The final confession scene was breathtaking. The tension, the emotions, the rain, the silence, and the vulnerability between them all came together perfectly. It wasn't just a romantic moment; it felt like two people finally allowing themselves to be seen and understood. The directing, cinematography, and acting elevated the scene into something truly unforgettable. Many viewers have praised it as one of the most powerful confession scenes in recent Thai BL dramas, and it's easy to understand why.EP3 doesn't just move the romance forward—it deepens the story's central question about faith, identity, and whether love can coexist with the beliefs we've built our lives around. It left me emotional, speechless, and even more invested in Tanrak and Barth's journey.

The anxiety has arrived

Why do I have the feeling that the Marquis will tell Xiuyao the story about the edict? I thought Ye Li had the same suspicion and that's why she ran after the carriage, and suddenly the rain started. But maybe she didn't... Well, I do! 😟Qin Cang and Tinglan having the same destination... Oh, I think they are meant to meet again and be together. 🤗 And the Marquis' tears when Qin Cang asked him all those questions? Yeah... I don't feel a single bit of pity for him. 🙄A'Li agreeing to let Qingshuang "go home"..... 🥹🤧

Collateral damage

JingJing and QianFei are having some girl time. What was unexpected is Lu Ze’s company affected by the assessment plan. They have to find a new investor or spun out of the project. He is upset with Qian Fei because he was told she was the one that made the decisions. He has overestimated her actual role and Ms Liao was not going to let him think otherwise. So now he has cowardly put the onus on her to tell JingJing. He has a right to feel blindsided and angry, but he can’t blame Qian Fei for his company’s finances. He also trusted Mr Liao keeping him on because he believed in his company. It never crossed his mind that at some point they were over assessing his company’s value to cook the books. Yi Fei gave her a very direct set of reasons why their company had to go. They could not be refuted. It was simply the bottom line. Her love/hate relationship with that teddy bear.😂🤣 I’m so mad at Yi Fei .BAMBAM BAM then she hugs and snuggles it after beating. 🤣😂Wang😡🤬He comes to her home late at night wanting a settle, ent and her to change jobs. He should have a black eye rather than hurt nose. He has lied to his gf so when this all comes out where will he be then. He is such a coward. He gets steamed up with JingJing calling him out but he takes no responsibility for the position he put Wian Fei in. He did not tell his parents or help with venue deposits yet he wants her to cough up 500k. 🤬 Yi Fei is out with friends and hooked into a blind date. She is pretty and has a beautiful voice but he’s busy txting Qian Fei about late night snacks. 🤣😂 He even suggests a future date to enjoy the girl’s cooking. His arrogant air is crossing paths with his smitten one.🤣😂The colleague has it right about their sharp tongues being a good match. 🤣😂 Yi Fei gets a thanks for handling Wang and late night snacks while the pouty ex hides his cowardice with a lie to new gf. 😝 Looks like things heat up with Lu Ze’s company in the preview.

Starting to see that their relationship is extremely complex and layered.

Superficially, the ML comes off as an abusive, obnoxious bully and she is justifiably pissed at him for not just his current 'unfair' behavior towards her but a long held grudge over him apparently having stolen her speech way back in high school. But then this is interwoven with him taking complex steps to 'take care of her' both in the current time (subsidizing her to have a new apartment near him, trying to force her to take a less stressful career path) and also in the past, when they were young. The problem is, his care has almost always focused solely on preventing her from being in situations where she might cry. This is his legit mission that he seems dedicated to. But this means he's also been super-controlling and she quite naturally resents that control because she wants freedom to live her own life. Further, it is his over-protective dominating control that has actually often been the trigger for 'crying events' in her life and so she has come to associate him with her medical issues. BUT ... she also literally grew up with him closely involved with helping and caring for her and she's weirdly quite used to him not only being around her but physically doting on her, touching her, fixing her shoelaces, adjusting her clothes. He may be (probably is) wrong in his 'control everything' approach to caring for her. Because it does harm to her. But his core intentions are strangely legit. Oh ... and ugh. What is it about Gau Han Yu (Du Li) that makes him look like such a creep as the SML? How can he be handsome and so pathetic looking at the same time? I can already tell he's going to be the type of character that I kinda hate watching screen minutes wasted on. I predict some sob story background that tries to build viewer empathy for him (to create a fake 'love triangle') but in the end he will still be an evil creep. A very annoying trope.

The secrets of Zhang family

Oh, I kind of love how we are getting back to the Evil God and its statues! 🤩 It makes it feel like all of it is completely connected, not just consequential. And there's a possibility to treat Zhang Haixia and get him back to normal! I couldn't be happier... really! 🥹🎉 The only things worrying me with the cure are that Haiqi is dying, there isn't much time left, and no one else really knows the recipe... yet, at least. ⏳ And secondly, it's the same question I had before about Haixia's conscience if he gets back to normal. Oh, I am so excited and worried at the same time! 🫣 nervously-excitedHailou taking the bride's place... 🤭 Can't wait for tomorrow's episode! P.S. And now I am double-guessing my previous thoughts about Haixia himself. Considering how he looked at that dead man in the cafe, maybe his killing is not as controlled as I thought. But those men brought it upon themselves... I knew Haixia would do something to them the moment they started trash-talking Hailou. 😮‍💨

At last!

Every line of dialogue meant something, in the past 13 episodes. And in episode 14, it comes together for Bai Shanjun.I don't remember ever being this excited for a romance in a C-drama, since... "Winter Begonia". Between Bai Shanjun and Lady Fufeng, the partnership is now at a natural stage of its progression. Back to listening to the beautiful songs of the drama OST~
