the scene at the start, was Zhang Zhun genuinely terrified if Zhen Xin's feelings for him were nothing but lust, something that would fade with time. that's why finding out about the pic's & that night (that he was sure was just a wet dream) was a reality scared him into doubting Zhen Xin's true feelings for him. & as he just found out he was venting & am sure he didn't expect Zhen Xin to lash out & say they should break-up. heck Zhang Zhun made is clear he loved Zhen Xin, he even told him he loved him but he added a "but" & Zhen Xin focused on the "but" & not of the fact that Zhang Zhun still loves him. that's why like a moron he told the Qin Xun'er that Zhang Zhun wanted the break-up. when he was the one that declared it before walking out. we all know that given time Zhang Zhun would've calmed down & Zhen Xin could've/should've reassured him about how committed he was to Zhang Zhun & their relationship. but Zhen Xin keeps forgetting that they NOT on even standing & Zhang Zhun has more to lose - oh well, everyone in their feelings lol... ugh& "Ms" Qin for sure not helping matters, if anything he is getting exactly what he wants Zhang Zhun far away from his beloved shining star. that's why i kinda didn't get why he goes to see Zhang Zhun's grandmother or why after telling Zhen Xin off / reminding him to keep his distance from Zhang Zhun at the premier he then turns around & is encouraging Zhang Zhun to go after his heart - like WTF is the dude bipolar?!? side note: until this ep i really disliked Qin Xun'er, but she was adorably sweet in this last ep & i found her funny & sweet. better luck next time.

Well, this took a weird turn. As if Xihe had too few suitors as it is! 😳😮💨 But I do wonder who the man in the hooded cape was... his voice sounded familiar. Maybe this is some trick to frame that guy who wants to marry Xihe so that he is rejected from marrying any princess? 🤔I can't with Changqing... Despite how much I want to dislike the man, his story is making me feel sad for him and even pity him. I kind of hope that now, when he's surer than ever that Xihe is Qingzhi, after her words about what she wanted from their marriage instead of what she got, he will choose to protect her from the sidelines and not act on his one-sided love/obsession for her. That would be a great redemption arc for his character. 😔🤔Cui is becoming more and more shameless when it comes to Lin, taking all the tricks right out of Huayong's playbook... 🤭 But I am not complaining. I could watch them all day long. 😏

If I make it to episode four that means it caught my interest. Not sure whether it deep dark drama or comedy but the comedic part though somewhat slapstick works. But this cannon works long because with 6 more episodes I am grasping on what this story is all about…there must be a reason he was transported back in time

No-Ah is so annoying this ep. She wants to hang on when her boyfriend is telling her he has feelings for someone else and then makes a scene. I'm actually glad he was up front and honest with her and walked out. She was doing the absolute most!Ga Eul is so selfish. Of couse Ji Yun will have those feelings still and it's heartbreaking but you can never walk it back othwerwise you end up in the same situation. The writer(s) really did something great here. I was very surprised by that ending.

In the episode that was supposed to condemn bullying, the killer and X bullied the player who won them in the basketball game. Such a clear exampl of bullying!

The Rebel Princess Episode 42

such a disappointment in the writers. to cause Awu's character to sneak around behind her husbands back after she was the one who forced him to pinky promise - and all because some disgusting bee-atch is her cousin? In truth, someone of Awu's life experience should understand that family is NOT always sincerity and self-sacrifice. She should be craftier now to the manipulation of everyone around her. Open armed integrity does not always need to be given to the filth! Closed arm integrity would be barely appropriate. Ship Quiaér off like the hussie she is! Sure okay, Awu is aloud to make a mistake, but it's super disgusting to see such a horrific character flaw written so blatantly. I think the writers should have given Awu's character some additional explanation/pressure for the heinous behavior she is displaying. And then for her to claim her perfect husband doesn't know what family is? WELL the look on his face said it all - he has put his life at risk for his family CONSTANTLY... all he does is give. and she had the smack face audacity to not realize SHE is her husband's family. DISGRACE!

Don't Be Too Emotional Episode 2

I'm expecting to get disappointed; I'm waiting for this to become shallow, but the underlying current is pulling me deeper and deeper into the story. The roller coaster cart has left the station, and it's slowly speeding up. My expectations are conflicting. Sometimes I find myself giggling and smirking at some scenes, and in other moments I'm hit with dread.I'm loving the plot, characters, chemistry, and the OST.

Don't Be Too Emotional Episode 6

Every couple sooner or later are looked upon by family and friends as a pair, but in truth each one takes a separate path to becoming that pair. Keng and Tee may be 8 years apart as actors, but they are in emotional depth equal partners in this difficult weaving together of Big Jane's troubled past that has shaped his view of life as transactionally contractual and Little Jane's sunny view of the goodness of people and his optimistic approach to life. In this episode, a pivot point has been dramatically reached where, like the scales in the traditional medicine store of his parents, the price of being happy together is weighed against the price of being unhappy apart. Whether it will be their characters or unpredictable events that will determine the outcome is not known, but it will reveal if their story is a tragedy or romance.

My first impression: Wow! My second impression: Wow again! Now seriously, I'm hooked. The filming quality, the lighting, the camera shots, the palpable unspoken chemistry, the music, and the ambient sound tailored to each scene are so spot on. I don't know if the series will be good moving forward, but I bought my ticket to this ride, and the expectation is high.

Some very familiar characters and themes, but nicely done. Plot moves quickly, characters broadly sketched and each still with a quirk or two.

Man did his presence just drop a load of fun into the show! Really love his protective attitude. And the interactions between he and Hua Yong as dad sizes up his prospective son-in-law skeptically are just golden! On the subject of fathers, this episode also gives strong hints that maybe things aren't as we were first told with respect to Hua Yong's father.
