You Are My Fateful Love Episode 11

This episode had so much potential to be as enjoyable as the previous 10 episodes. But it took a stupid, annoying turn by leaning into the dreaded 'love triangle' drama trope and spending far too much screen time on the pathetic and annoying Li Shi Can. I don't understand why so many drama writers think that a romance story needs to feature a 'love triangle'. Most of the really great romance dramas do NOT include a love triangle or if they do, it is only given the most brief appearance before being dismissed. Because the strength of a romance story is in the romance between the two leads. Not with contrived distraction from some character who is obviously NEVER going to win the girl (or guy, in the case of stories where the 3rd wheel is a female). So all the effort and screen time spent building up the character's candidacy as a potential love interest always feels like a giant waste of time. And the introduction of the Li Shi Can character is already going through the torturous dumb hoops that is so typical with this trope. On one hand, to bolster his potential candidacy as a love interest the show provides backstory about his positive interactions with the FL in the past and try to portray him as a good person who has overcome his own difficulties, blah, blah. But the show also has to hedge all that with the flaws that will ultimately provide justification for why the FL does not choose him and that's where the show gets tied up in knots with this kind of crap. Despite his charming good looks and apparent nice guy visage, there are cracks in Li Shi Can's facade already. Just as a starter, the basis for his obsession with Ruan Yu is so incredibly weak: Yes, she was nice to him when he was young, helping raise money among friends to buy him a guitar. But he does the cliche' SML thing of confusing a simple act of kindness with being a basis for romantic love. So that right there is simply pathetic. He otherwise has only scant interactions with Ruan Yu ever and has no real basis for love. Next, little things such as, after Si Si tries to commit suicide and it becomes unsafe for Ruan Yu to stay at her own home, he tries to convince her to come stay at HIS place -- but this is selfish and not thinking at all. If she went to his place, the paparazzi would surely find out and that would blow up everything even more and SHE would be the one put at more risk. Another awful thing he does in this episode is when he goes to visit Cen Si Si in the hospital he again and again triggers her psychopathy with the things he said. He basically taunts her with not only his refusal to admit that there is NO ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HIMSELF AND RUAN YU, he doubles down telling Si Si that he intends to pursue Ruan Yu. Regardless of whether these things are true or not, they are pouring gasoline on the fire burning up this mentally disturbed person. He should never have been allowed in that hospital room. He is selfish and irresponsible.

It's cute so far! The scene where Sang Zhi mistakes Duan Jia Xu for her brother Sang Yan (thinking he had plastic surgery) was hilarious 😂 Still too early to judge completely, but I get the feeling this is going to be a light-hearted and fun drama!

I gasped in horror when J's head was bleeding because..wdym?! Blood in general makes me want to faint. I love how Jinn's mom forced him to watch J as a punishment. Also how the hell did J's arm get broken but his head was the one bleeding? I thought it was funny when his mom sprayed him with the hose but hitting him was too far. Love How Jinn says he doesn't want to Live with J so he should recover fast. But that's clearly a lie. Love how When J was seeing him and Jinn kiss in his dream he leaned forward to kiss Jinn but Jinn pushed him away.

When J was laying down I thought that creepy mannequin was real! I love how the drea m was so sweet and Jinn was calling J's name when it was actually his mom calling him lo I. Also woah...when I saw her my first thought was "that is one HOT woman" the napping in the bathroom part is relatable because I low-key do that sometimes. I love how J is te asing Jin and called him "Dear" but Jinn gets mad and calls him "Jerk". J really has no car e in the world. I love Jinn's outfit though, like the baggy jeans and the buttoned up white shirt just ate. The fact Jinn brags he was born seven minutes earlier. I feel guilty I always love to brag to my friend that I am 4 years older than her but my older friend always puts me in my place saying she is older than both of us. I love how Jinn says he thinks J has a c rush on him but J says he thinks Jinn is the one with the crush. and then it goes back to w hen they were kids and Jinn tells J he wants to marry him and J says no because men can only be with woman. but also when he said that, it low-key hurt because as a pansexual girl I feel insecure about it sometimes. I love the blue and red btw, it just makes sense, Jin n is blue and J is red, says a lot about who they are as people. I instantly knew Van was a playboy not ready for a relationship. JJ's character is so funny like all his other roles. Those brothers know how to act. Back to the colors. Notice how Jinn's car is black but J's car is white. Also what did Van do to the girl to make her hit him, also I low-key think she's wrong for throwing his stuff. Jinn flipping J off with his back turned was so clever and funny. Literally perfect. Also when they were kids and Jinn knocked J down I gasped dude I was like "that escalated quickly" because what do you mean HE BEAT HIM UP IN THE SCHOOL HALLWAY?! When I saw New I squealed like "Oh hey hottie". also his character's clothes. the fact he only showed for 3 episodes as a guest character and still ate up his role. We love you Newwiee. Also he looks much more mature than most other shows. Also Paul was so freaking cute oml. Also the fact the first thing J saw when he crashed was Jinn....damn that's deep

Whew, okay, we have finally reached the point where Danshim's past and her present in the future have finally collided. Personally, does it feel a little unnatural for it to be revealed via Segye's dreams? Kind of, but not really? They established his dreams from the first two episodes and then used his medication to put it to the wayside. Honestly, the reveal had to have come from him, because there was absolutely no way Danshim would have admitted that part of her past to him. And instead of wasting more episodes on Danshim never telling him that she's really time slipped from the past, the narrative instead forces her to confront it via Segye. Which works for the plot! Because at the end of the day, this is a fantasy romcom. You can't build stakes in the past and not have it acknowledged in the present. Our villain side characters are doing well in providing conflict. They do just enough to hinder and annoy, but it never feels like either Segye or Danshim loses out to them. Throughout it all, our protagonists maintain their dignity in every interaction, which is what i like most about them. Is it annoying as hell? Yeah!!! But would the story be as interesting without them? Absolutely not.Seeing as we only have six (!!) more episodes to go, I am genuinely curious to see how the villains will step up their villainy, and how long it will take for Segye to believe Danshim wholeheartedly about her past. He's only ever seen her as a modern woman who's into method acting, so I'm looking forward to see how he deals with her complete and total truth.

The Air Episode 3 finally finds stronger pacing and emotional momentum, with #FreenBecky once again proving why they remain Thai GL’s defining duo. But while the chemistry shines, uneven production and distracting action scenes still hold the story back. We break down what worked, what missed, and why we’re still waiting for The Air to fully click.Read our full review here: https://bit.ly/3RBXK5D

This first episode had me from the very first scence. It sets the tone in a very respectful manner. The cast is on point. Gemini and Fourth are awesome.

I'm in awe, they did it again! How are they making this story so captivating? This might be a spoiler, but Choi Mun-Do has a son, who he is probably trying to protect from the world, I have a feeling that he might be a good dad, so I want to put my faith in him. Seo-Ri and Se-Gye are so good together. In those flashbacks, my heart broke when Seo-Ri gave in to the Crown prince's demands, the Daegun looked distraught. I am so glad they got a second chance. Mo Tae-hee's villain role is a bit soft for my liking, I might be biased from her previous role, but she seems too sweet.

but whoops he's doing it anyway, cannot resist his little duckling. also the way he stood up to Auntie Kia? screaming. oh shit family dinner just got way more interesting. "If North believes in Santa Claus, I'd dress up as him every year" aka how Yu won me over in 15 words or less. "He looks at North the way you look at me." yah, cause you know... they are both scammers... I am so hooked.

the one thing this BL is making very clear, if ur a good guy & a giver someone WILL take advantage of u & then treat u like crap. case in point Kirt with his ex - like who the f*ck buy's an apartment & gifts it to their partner, as a "beginning of relationship" gift? & then there is Mind, dude is a knight in shinning armor where Wayu is concerned, but unlike with every other client Wayu has, he goes out of his way to treat Mind like an after thought & the ironic part is, Mind is PAYING for his "services" or lack there off.... & last but not least, Wayu happily endangering himself for Kirt just cause he has fallen hard from the sec they met - guess that hit to the head did so major damage to his brain. ****************************************************************** & for a cop Kirt should know better then to believe Pete for a sec, u don't need to be a genius sleuth to figure out that the reason Pete remembered Kirt existed was cause he needed a favor & he wanted the issue someone getting busted at his bar for drugs taken care off. & Kirt had to think about it??? like how gullible & stupid can one be? *************************************also was happy that Wayu had almost snapped out of it, but by the end of course Kirt was there & they ended up in bed - like plz

This episode let us learn more about the ML and how he became the way he is. Over those years, he had been driven by his own sense of guilt and self-hate about his brother’s death. And now, when he has defeated the man who killed his brother, he turns out not to be the one. And I must admit, I lowkey suspected that Prince Yuwen Liangshi might not be the real killer. So, the question now is — who is? Could it be Murong Gaogong, the current Emperor, or maybe someone else? I am quite short on suspects at the moment, but that doesn't mean I won’t look for one.The way Bu Yinlou supported and was able to console Xiao Duo (I am still considering what to call him from now on — Fang Jiang, maybe?) was filled with care, understanding and love. I really appreciate her for that. Their romance, even if forbidden, has grown very beautifully so far. They really understand each other and confide in each other. And even when they hide something, they notice something’s off very quickly and try to find the truth so in the end they could support each other even more. Like the situation with the pills, for example. Yinlou learned the truth her own way and only then decided to talk about that with Xiao Duo… only the show didn’t show us the confrontation.Instead, we got a time jump when Yinlou was already very worried whether Xiao Duo could have been able to accomplish his plan against Prince Yuwen Liangshi. And only a glimpse through Yinlou’s memories showed us what had happened the night before. She had been in the bath, naked, and Xiao Duo had been there with her. They talked about whether he was a eunuch or not and then he told her he wanted to marry her…. HOW could they cut such an important scene!? I am very disappointed that the editors chose to cut that scene, which in my opinion was very significant… Such choices make me as a viewer detach from the characters eventually. Forbidden love that has to overcome a lot of obstacles has always been one of my favourite romance tropes, so I hope it won’t happen here, because I really enjoy this story and don’t want it to get ruined because of editing choices. And then there’s the Emperor. He has finally arrived in Jiangnan city, but he is already causing trouble for our lead couple. He’s holding some angst against Xiao Duo and has decided to show where his supposed place is. And it starts with punishing him by whipping in front of all Xiao Duo’s men and, most importantly, Bu Yinlou. And the reason? The reason is for not protecting her enough and letting her get poisoned. I feel uneasy about the Emperor, and I don’t want to see him around either of our leads, but I know it’s inevitable since he thinks Yinlou is his woman. I only hope that he won’t decide to take her by force… which I wouldn’t be surprised if he did, considering how he gradually has changed already. It all will just become worse, I reckon. At least Eunuch Sun didn’t whisper much nonsense in the Emperor’s ear this time, but I dislike him anyway… a lot.
