Sometimes love sweeps you off your feet when you least expect it. It takes you on a roller coaster ride of high emotions and make you see things that may or may not be there.

I often have a sneaking suspicion of Korean romantic dramas because I'm always expecting someone to die. As a result I didn't think I'd like this movie, but I did. We have all experienced the story before: boy meets girl, they fall in love ... maybe one more so than the other. Nothing special. What made it good was Yoo Ji Tae. He did a really good job of making me empathize with his character. I felt his struggle, so much so that I wanted to reach into the movie and give him a hug. Haha.

The supporting cast, esp the hero's family, were pretty good too. Grandma gave one of the best piece of advice about women I've heard in a long time.

I also loved the scenery in this movie. Due to the nature of our hero's job Korea's natural beauty was very much emphasized here. The more I watch K-movies the more fascinated I become with its culture, its food and its people. My mind's now made up: the next vacation will be to South Korea.

Finally, the ending of One Fine Spring Day was very appropriate. Life is rife with tough decisions, but we gotta make 'em and rock on.

This is the best drama I have seen. and it will remain so. The story is about three siblings who grew up in the 1970's. Lee Kang Mo (Lee Bum Soo), his older brother Sung Mo (Park Sang Min)and younger sister Mi Joo were separated at a young age when their father was killed in a smuggling scheme and their mother also died subsequently. When they are able to reunite years later, they had all reached adulthood and are determined to exact revenge upon the people responsible for their misery. Built around a corrupt government and focuses on one mans destructive path to obtain power. This drama is well scripted, acted, directed, everything.
Great acting by Lee Bum So as Lee Kang Mo, his acting was really great and it made you connect with him throughout the entire drama. Park Sang Min as Sung Mo really did a good also with his acting . Also, Jo Pil Yeon (Jung Bo Suk) will always be the number 1 villain of all time. Great realistic ending, you could not want a better drama to watch as it is filled with action, suspense, romance, comedy, especially Sang Mo trying to dance, lol, really, really wonderful.

The film which catapulted little known Lee Jun Ki into instant stardom all over Asia. Yes I admit quite candidly that I watched this movie for my recently found Jun Ki mania but I'm going to remember this movie for the masterpiece it is rather than just a random K-movie featuring LJK. The controversy regarding the racy humor used throughout the movie notwithstanding, the movie is a fine portrayal of love, friendship and betrayal. It is heart-warming to see the effeminate Gong Gil and the heroic Jang Seng's relationship, which was most certainly much more than just friendship. At the height of utter despair and chaos in their lives, when they flee from the countryside in the hopes of a better life in Seoul, the way they act out the parts of two blind men in the middle of nowhere is a treat to watch. That is perhaps the most poignant scene from the film barring the one at the very end. There's a puzzle in the title of the movie since it leaves you in doubt about who the real king is. In my opinion it's Jang Seng rather than the tyrannical, literal king since he desires to be a commoner even in his next life and chooses the right to live on his own terms rather than living a life of luxury whose terms will be dictated by others. He is the real king of the movie.
The actors have portrayed their parts to perfection. Jeong Jin Yeong has done especially well in conveying the inner turmoil the King suffered from, his eccentricities and frequent displays of mindless cruelty. Excellent acting by Kam Woo Sung as well. And last but not the least, LJK proves in this movie that he IS after all an actor and not just a great looker. I think it will be hard for even a straight guy to resist his charms after watching this movie.

And we're back once again with my favorite trio! Kingone, Mike He, and Rainie Yang.
Now I will be honest and say that I started this drama because I watched Devil Beside You and wanted to see more of the chemistry between the main leads.
I am fully aware that the two have nothing to do with each other. That being said I still like Devil Beside You more.
I loved Why Why Love up until episode 11 and then I wanted to die. The twist in the story happened way to late in the drama to be effective. If they were going to use that twist then they should have done in earlier in the drama. So because of that I dropped this drama at episode 11. However, because I am a person who has to finish a drama once I start it. I trucked through it and finally came to the ending.
I will give this a solid 8 overall because I did enjoy it up until the last episodes. Will I ever watch it again? Probably not, unless I'm doing a Mike He marathon.
Since I did enjoy the drama for the most part, I recommend this to anyone!
Happy Watching :)

First of all, I want to make one thing clear. I like dramas that can make my heart flutter a lot, so my rating for this drama is quite biased, I guess. Also, I haven’t seen the first season so there’s no room for comparison here.

Quality-wise, this drama had an awful story. Seokhyun and Yeolmae’s relationship really really really annoyed me to death. This is the first time I hated a good-looking character so much. Lee Jin Wook’s charming, but his character sucked big time. I just wanted to punch him in the face all the time. I also wanted to slap the hell out of Yeolmae. How could she love this kind of guy? I don’t care whatever reason or excuse he had for pushing her away and being such a jerk because in the end, doesn’t love make everything simple? Isn’t love the most important thing? Unfortunately, the heroine’s quite foolish to return to his side over and over again.

Thank goodness the side stories were fun to watch. I especially found Jihee’s story amusing, and it helped make up for the nuisance (that is Seokhyun and Yeolmae’s relationship). I also loved the friendship between the three ladies. They were always there for one another through thick and thin.

But most importantly, thank you drama gods for having a character like Jihoon. Seriously, I wouldn’t have made it alive after this drama if not for that guy. How can there be such a perfect man like him? He’s got it all: the looks, the charm, the passion, and everything else one could ever wish for. He’s the type of guy no parent could ever refuse for their daughter. I wish every Korean drama had a Jihoon.

The acting’s good. The feelings strike through the heart. I hated it to death when Seokhyun had his sad moments and such, but I have to admit I was moved at times. But it’s got to do with Lee Jin Wook’s acting, and not because Seokhyun's pitiful. He was never pitiful in my eyes. Jung Yoo Mi was adorable. She was able to portray a cheeky and at times heartbroken woman longing for love. Oh and Mr. Perfect Jihoon was well-portrayed by Kim Ji Suk. I’m not so good with words, but he was really amazing. I still wonder how he’s able to make hearts explode with just one smile.

The music’s okay. I actually find myself at times humming that song by 10cm. It’s surprisingly addictive.

It wouldn’t hurt to rewatch this one if only I could stand watching Seokhyun and Yeolmae’s out-of-this-world relationship. Unfortunately, I can’t. But I might make an exception someday when I miss Mr. Perfect. He’ll be the only reason why I would even bother rewatch this.

I’m a sucker for dramas with lots of sweet and cutesy and adorable and heart-fluttering moments, so no matter how much I hated Seokhyun and Yeolmae’s relationship, at least they had given my heart a reason to flutter with all those cute moments. But not as much as my heart fluttered for Yeolmae and Jihoon. Their love was to die for. There was never a scene between them that I hated. Every scene was wonderful. Then again, I loved this pairing as much as I hated the other pairing so it’s not really a surprise that I loved every scene they were together in.

Overall, the drama’s pleasing and adorable to watch. But beware, because the way the story progresses is such a bitch.

So at the start of this drama, I definitely thought it was going to be a decent watch, even though it contains much of the drama cliches we all know. The starting pair Ren and Xui Mei have very good chemistry together and injected some of the flavor into the story, (or lack of it). However, I suppose my biggest problem is the the sudden switch of pairings halfway through the drama to Ren and Maemi. I am not complaining because the OTP was changed, but the fact that I saw no inkling of a "romantic" relationship starting between them. Yes, I understand that the actor who plays Maemi (in my opinion is better), but it would have made more sense to let Ren show more affection to Maemi instead of showing us a heated relationship between Ren and Xui Mei. All in all there were good parts and bad parts in the drama, so watch at your own risk! There is a fair amount of eye candy though!

Lee Jun-Ki. Shin Mina. What more can you ask for from the perfect face value cast?

Oh yes... the consistency of the story. Hence my self discussion of like and dislike from this drama.

First, why I like it is the mention from above. Eye candy couple always help bring in more viewers anyways. Then there's the team of solid characters. I believe these individual characters where built up in a really good way, even the flashbacks (which I personally dislike) were essential as a foreground. Not annoying but instead, needed. So I'm letting that one slide.

I love Arang. She's such a feisty ghost/woman. She talks brash, she's persistently cute and most of all she knows how to care. What I hated about her character is the inconsistency of her self-defense behavior. She's supposed to know how to defend herself by kicking ass of both human and ghost alike, but there were slips along the way which makes her such a damsel in distress and THAT is what I dislike about her character.

Sato Kim Eun Oh. *sigh* I want to look on forever at that face. I totally feel how Arang feels. *shakes head to come back to reality* Okay, back to what I like about him - it's the way how he progressed as a person. I love the fact that his personality evolved gradually after meeting Arang, PLUS the fact that he knows how to fight. (I am an action fan so learn to deal with it.) As a wishy-washy character, Sato is still influential and yes… yes… yes… we already know that he is good looking, but besides that he is a man with integrity. What I hate about his character is the fact that he gets all mopey when it comes to his mother. That part irritates me the most. If Arang feels annoyed by it, so do I, in triple folds.

As for the other characters like Dol Soe and the Shaman, the three other officers whom I get to call the three stooges because of the multiple mischief they try to conjure within Miryang and the Great King Jade (Oh man, oh man! My dear Seung Ho, how I adore thee!!!)is also one of the characters that's a dessert to look at. There's also the constant bickering of the King of the Underworld which by the way is cute, but let's not forget the insightful conversations regarding the humans and their hearts. The grim reaper has a good role in all of this as well, I like the fact that he's supposed to be a bad-guy-but-not-really-bad kind of character. The idea that he's also a confused soul but still has to harvest other confused souls feels rather eccentric yet interesting.

Then finally, we also have the REAL bad guys. Not much to say about them but they are very much helpful in building up the story to what it should be. Basically all in all - the mix of all these characters were simply great.

So what went wrong?

The characters were great, the MUSIC was a lovely mix of eeriness and sometimes soulful, the cinematography was love and then… the story line went bland. It was a Sageuk Fantasy fusion with a mix of Rom-Com Horror, it had a good premise but there was that feeling after episode 8 that the story began to drag on. Maybe it's just me, but it felt like there were moments in the series which could have been cut short to emphasize more on the main story and the fun sort of died out and became too serious for my liking. The ending wasn't my cup of tea as well, there was so much that could have been done with that. That's why I would give it an over all rating of 8.

I may not re-watch this drama, but I would recommend it to those who love the actors, good set of acting and well… a ghost filled episode per episode.

This was my first drama so i can say that it has a special place for me..but apart from that it is a very good drama.
Fast paced, excellent acting, outstanding music and of course the fantastic writing by the Hong sisters.
The main attraction of the drama is Jae Hee with his wide range of expressions and the great chemistry between him and Han chae young.
The drama is hilarious as well as romantic..ya..the manipulations became very much by the negative characters at certain points but the drama never leaves its feel good quality.
A must watch.....

This show's hilarious. I've only seen 2 eps but i like the story and and the show's very funny and with some cute. I haven't seen the 1st Full House in a long time so the details are blurry, but the remake is probably more fun. It's true that the story is different though, it only has in common probably the famous person who cares for a house and ends up living with a girl(I assume). Not much can be drawn from just 2 eps.

I'm actually ok with different story because it's more fresh and it doesn't fall into the danger of being too similar to the original and being redundant. I'n this version there's 2 idols instead of actors, and the female is this tomboy martial artist/designer-wannabe. In the end, I won't really be viewing this as a Full House remake, but just as it's own show

I've only seen No min Woo and Park Ki Woong in 1 small roles but I'm really enjoying they're characters in the show and they have good chemistry; I would say most of the fun is between these characters. I'm unfamiliar with Hwang Jung Eum and so far her character and acting's average. So far I'm more invested in the 2 male leads than her. I like the directing of the show so far too and I'm looking forward to the rest of the show.

P.S I HATE the main leads curly hairs, both guy and girl look terrible. Hwang Jung Eum looks super Ahjumma-like and No Min Woo looks plain weird and comes off kinda metro-sexual like. I'm diggin his hair when he's in idol-concert-mode though.

Man this movie totally gave me the creeps (and it was my first time watching it too.) This is not for the young at heart indeed. I gotta say the actors did a good job portraying the characters and the music fit perfectly well. All i gotta say is if you ever except hair from a stranger and you start noticing strange things, especially if a stranger comments on your hair or appearance, keep it in mind and do some research and find out the stranger's true motives or attentions. And you may not want to get your hair done after a while once you see this movie. Good , but very creepy and scary.

i really love the drama so far, the main lead is a badass tat does not care about the restriciotn of rules of society, and she breaks those rules to accomplish her goals. when watching this you will be cheering on for the lad and love her character. though the music is rate pretty low bc they rarely play any music. but if u are looking for a good drama with no wishy washy annoying female lead, then this is the drama. the character is headstrong and you just love and admire her personality

This movie was so weird. For the most part it didn't make a lick of sense.

Very light on plot, the leads had no chemistry whatsoever, the acting was wooden ... at best. There were some beautiful shots, but the story went for a walk and never came back. I think the problem lies in the premise of the film - a woman randomly walks into a stranger's apartment and begins a sporadic affair with him. Each time the woman's cell phone rings she'd disappear for days then return without explanation. Baffled and unable to help his fascination with the mysterious woman, the hero takes her in each time even though he knows next to nothing about her since she flat out refuses to tell him anything meaningful about herself.

He wonders, like we do, whether she's high or just crazy due to some very bizarre and erratic behaviour. Why he falls so hopelessly, head over heels in love with her is anybody's guess. She basically leads him around like a dog on a leash and not in cute romantic way. The entire film resulted in him trying to solve the puzzle that was this woman. Problem is, though, her story wasn't interesting enough to hold my attention. In fact, I thought it was rather ridiculous.

First of all, who behaves in this way? I find both their actions so bizarre and unbelievable. A woman walks into some guy's, who she doesn't know from Adam, place and takes up residence just like that? And the hero letting this strange woman in, giving her a key to his apartment when he doesn't know if she's setting up to rob or kill him? Come on now. Who does that?

I'm sorry to say it was a waste of time. The whole thing was just very poorly developed and executed. I watch a lot of films and being a filmmaker myself I'm very lenient on how I judge other people's efforts. It takes a lot for me to completely fail a film, but this simply left a lot to be desired.

There were no redeeming qualities except that the hero was absolutely gorgeous. But if you need a little more than a pretty face to hold your attention, don't bother with this one. Not even the romantic scenes were interesting enough to carry this lacklustre romantic drama. I doubt I'll ever watch it again.

This drama is just simply fantastic!!
It hits all the right spots...whether humor,romance,emotions,action,mystery...everything.

The drama is made very beautifully with excellent cinematography. The plot is very tight and you never get a boring moment anytime. The acting by everyone is excellent.Lee Seung-ki in the titular role is so good, especially in comedy scenes,he is simply awesome.Ha Ji Won in this badass role is very good as usual. But it's Jo Jung Suk who steals the show with his powerful acting and screen presence.Lee Yoon Ji is also really good. Not to forget Yoon Je-moon as the big bad guy,he also delivers a great performance.

But it's not like the show is flawless..but they are very minute ones.

The drama has a lot of heart..which is the most important thing!!
