I love the story line which is build on real life and showbiz.I've got really excited when I'd heard that they're going to do a live action of Skip Beat. I watched the anime and really loved it.
I was really worried about the actress who plays "Gong Xi" that how she can truly give back the character's feeling and expressions. But I was surprised to see her real talent. She definitely got the scary and also shy features of the original character. I laughted a lot.
Siwon and Donghae played cool at this drama but I really hate that they said everything with playback... It was irritating and it was not really authentic...

About the episodes: The first few episodes was really really long... I got bored sometimes but after the 4th episode (i think) everything speed up. The drama is still cool :) so if you liked the anime and manga give it a try!

I simply love this romance comedy drama. Its full of laughter watching Kang Ji Hwan who always act in comedy drama. He has the charm and yet humourous to look at. But our Pretty Yoon Eun Hye is great too. Both pair up perfectly. I like the scene at Kang Ji Hwan's house, cola play. Kang Ji Hwan is amazing in this drama. I end up watching his another movie My Girlfriend is An Agent...laugh till you cry....

I am so underwhelmed. This is a cinderella story, and not really a story about office girls. They focus on 1 office girl really and her love. The first half was predictable, funny and kind of cute - but the second half was over the top, not funny and booooring.
What I liked best had to be Roy, he was so cute in everything he did! Not his character but the actual actor.I also LOVED the manager, with all his different languages. I promise he spoke spanish, korean, japanese, english, and a french phrase or 2. He is a complete scene steal-er, but his antics and Roy's face kept me watching. As the majority of the actors only had 2-3 expressions, those 2 were super entertaining(the actress who played Zheng Kai Er was the WORST only 2 expressions!).
The story line is good, but if you have watched more than 4 t-dramas you see where the plot is going. The first half like I mentioned is really good. They shake it up a bit with some of the really cliched schemes you see in dramas. The female lead, Shen XingRen, in the beginning was really driven, positive, and strong. In the beginning, Roy's character was played perfectly, and the characters that were annoying were negligible. In the second half they just go back to the typical drama format, with the misunderstandings, the he said she said, XingRen gets weaker, the typical drama antagonist appears, and lastly lots of personality changes happen for nearly no reason.
I personally called the ending and what would happen in the last episodes around ep17 and I fast forwarded through a lot. I cant say its worthwhile watch because I really felt like they could have ended it around episode 15/16 and I would have been happier. I think they should have named the drama office prince or undercover boss, because that's what its about.
p.s. i want to fire the stylist- they re-wore a lot of outfits, XingRens pants never fitted her correctly, all the office girls had on booty shorts, and Mama Shen's wig was a mess!
p.p.s if you are a sucker for a good ending stick it out! it has a really nice ending.

This drama is seriously very addicting. I finished watching it in only two days.

The story is full of action, suspense, romance... Even though some parts of the story were impossible in real life and ambigue sometimes, it is a good drama to watch if you want a somewhat dark drama with some laughs in it. I really liked how Eric was talking in this drama, like a little bit snobbish and the spy part of the drama. Definitely recommend it as it is one of my favorite dramas :)

Lie to Me was my very first drama. It was recommendation for my netflix queue. I clicked on the because the title was catchy and the cover image was intriguing. My first thoughts watching it was that, please forgive me, it was stupid . . . but I continued watching it! The story had me hooked! And the lead actor wasn't bad on the eyes either.

This drama had me hooked from the very first episode. I finished the entire drama in about 2 days.

Story: The story is your typical rom-com, except in this one the guy is more gentle and kind. He does have a bit of a mean side but it's usually won over by his sweet and gentle side. At first I was turned off by the main female due to her lack of confidence, but I liked how she did change which made me like her and the story more. This drama made me dislike the second female lead, which meant it did its job, but it also did do a good job in portraying her in a sympathetic light for her own story. I loved the second male lead, and I wanted to marry him, but even though I liked the second male lead, I still found there was more chemistry between the main leads. Some side stories were a bit too over dramatic and a bit annoying but a lot of them were interesting which I enjoyed. I just felt that the plot about Dylan's sister was just a bit too unbelieving.

Acting: The acting was great! I believed all the character's emotions and I got sucked into it. The only part it dragged off on was the last few episodes where Cun Xi had to act fake and lie, I felt his acting was a bit too overdone. But overall the acting was awesome!!

Music: I think the music was good and matched very well. There were some parts where the music was a bit too dramatic but overall well done.

Re-watch: I loved this drama so much that I right now I kinda wish that I didn't speed through it and I had watched at a good pace. This is a drama I will definitely watch again when I'm bored and have no dramas to watch.

Overall: It is rated an 8, because even though I loved loved loved the story, at the end I had to fast forward through chunks of it to get to the good parts. When I fast forwarded through I found that I could still understand what was going on which indicated that those parts were a bit unnecessary and could have been taken out or have had less screen time.

What a delicious drama. Literally.
It left me hungry for more of these adorable characters, and made me hungry for mouth watering food while watching. In short, the title says it all.

The pairing food=hunger may seem obvious, but there's much more to it than what meets the eye. I love the food philosophy as it is portrayed here, because almost each character is defined by his or her way to interact with food. For some it is a simple nourishment, for others, a vehicle to express themselves, the means to capture someone's heart, to force out a smile or the way to forget a childhood of privation.
I was more than once reminded of "Ratatuille", the disney animation film, and the moment in which the merciless food critic savours a bite of ratatuille and is immediately catapulted back to his childhood and the memory of his mother's love.
Food really has the power to stir up memories and rouse imagination.

I came to love all the characters and was impressed by the performance of the entire cast. Granted, Takimoto Miori is basically playing Mio from Ikemen desu ne all over again, but as somebody else wrote before me, she's so adorable I'm ready to forgive her for being still an unripe actress. Osamu Mukai is spot on, and I particularly enjoyed him when he would start talking like a dockworker, rolling his "rrr" and using foul language. But my favourite character is without a doubt Taku with his absent-minded ways and his infectious smile. Their friendship and ties are a pleasure to watch: hilarious, sincere, believable.

The music is great. Every piece fits the scene to perfection without ever overpowering it.

There's much more to say about this drama, but I believe it has to be... eaten, instead of read about. Re-watch value is very high because once you've tasted something good, you definitely want to eat it again, sooner or later.
I may just add that this is a further evidence that reviews and recommendations can be truly useful: I watched hungry! because I trust the opinion of other reviewers here and I'm very glad I did.

I think this will turn out better or as good as Dream High or You're Beautiful. It mixes them together and is more realistic in terms of why she is pretending to be a guy (because the rules never said a girl couldn't try out) and our male lead is already openly showing affection to her even if she hasn't noticed it yet.

A typical gender bender with a girl dressing as a boy. Confusion ensues as our male lead doesn't know if he might be gay. Only this time most of our characters are underdogs. There is a great feel as they all try to prove themselves. This set-up has a few people that already know she is female which means she has help. Although not much is done to disguise her being a girl, basically she uses the men's bathroom now.

This is definitely a romantic comedy. There are a lot of gags one whole plot arc revolves around vomit. Certainly our male lead is a brooding misunderstood work-a-holic but he is already melting. This is not an angsty drama but seems like there will be decent conflict because we have complex characters even the minor ones.

The music is excellent so far. There was an amazing remix of Beethoven into hip hop. The songs are catchy and we get to see all of our minor leads sing at least a little bit.

There is the typical ex-gf spoiled girl character, but each story needs a villain. She is clinging onto the male lead pathetically. Our other villain is a director that tries to stop M2Junior, but so far she seems Lawful Evil.

I was considering this show average in terms of plot, but the last episode one moment won me over. They fight and she leaves. Only to learn immediately after outside she was wrong. And she actually went back right away to apologize unlike typical k-drama where they both silently brood and we have dramatic montages. Writer is NOT dragging out the drama which is good, because this is a feel-good which means it has rewatch potential if it sticks with it. The writing is staying tight seems like most new conflicts/issues are resolved in two episode arc. There have been hints that she will reveal she is a girl soon rather than at the end which would make this a much needed update on the gender bender if the angst comes before the end.

I just finished this last night and I must say this is one unique drama. I loved it. The acting, the music, the story, everything was very well done. This drama is so funny. It's funny even when it's serious (no joke). I mean, it does have its very serious moments when you want to cry, but it usually follows those up very closely with something so funny you want to laugh until you cry. This also has possibly the best, most creative, most thorough ending I've ever seen. I didn't want it to end. I fell in love with the main characters and I will miss watching some of them (seriously). I only have one piece of advice to anyone reading this: go watch this drama!

They chose they best lead actors for this drama. Those two were just too funny! The plot is pretty good with a few twists. There are serious moments, but still somehow comical. Its been a little while since Ive seen the show, but from what I remember, I would not change a thing in the show. DEFINITELY watch. Its worth it.

This movie was okay. Just okay. I liked the acting and the cast, but I've already seen the story line. Although it is better than some of the "sick people" story lines I've seen, it isn't very original. I've seen better. There are other movies that I enjoyed more. And by enjoyed, I mean cry my heart out.

So, overall, it's an okay movie. Worth watching if you have free time.

What I liked about this movie is its unique and interesting storyline : it’s practically a biography which talks about Lee Tae Sung who after serving the army decided to go to Japan since he has always loved, then he fell in love with the musician Yuri who encounters a tough family life. Even though there was the language differences and difficulties, they actually get along, he helps her to continue her road in music and arrange her family life.
I specially loved the lead actor and found many stro,g points in his acting unlike the lead actress whose acting was a little disordered especially at first but things get along well as the movie goes on.
I loved this film despite its sad atmosphere, it was a great because its true story that was made to honor the Korean student for his noble act, I won't say what's the story of the noble act you have to watch the film and find out yourself .
If you're looking for something different then this is recommended; you will understand my cryptic last lines when you watch it.

To be honest I watched this drama because of Lee Da Hae since I loved her acting in My Girl. Well, here her role was a little different. I liked the lead actor and felt sorry for him because he suffered a lot from everyone but he had great chemistry with the lead female.
I was thinking about this drama's story as an unusual one but I believe that what made me continue watchng it even if it got slow in the middle, it's true that I had to skip some parts but the rest was acceptable. This is a good drama but it's not that great, if you have better dramas to watch; don't waste your time on it but if you're into romantic comedies then you may enjoy this.

I was kind of surprised with the special, if you're Hana Kimi's fan you'd feel a little disappointed. I believe we all agree that they should've made the special about the school's trip to California in order to visit Mizuki but that wasn't the case.
Anyway, the special was fair enough we get to see more of great moments specially hilarious ones. I totally love Nakatsu he's the best ever! It's true that Hana Kimi's cast was outstanding but every time I think about this drama, Nakatsu jumps into my mind with his weird yet funny and cool thoughts.
Maybe some people didn't like the special or thought of it as unfair but believe me the fact of seeing Hana Kimi's cast and events all over again is worth wasting your time on it.
