I really wanted to give this drama a review because i absolutely adore the manga! The manga is one of those rare type of books that you can re-read as many times as you want and still get all the same feelings of enjoyment as if you are reading if for the first time. However, i did not get any of that from the drama. I really really was hoping that this drama was going to be a hit for me. :(

I will first start with the story: One of the things i hate about live actions is their need to change the story line so unnecessarily. I don't see the point in wanting to tell the story but not the way it was original portrayed. I do understand that people tend to change things for movies and tv shows to add that extra bit of drama, but in this case i felt it was poorly done. They added characters that never existed in the book and made the lead actress really whinny and dependant on her family, when in  fact that was one of the things he loved about her. He loved that she was so dependant and loyal and took her job very seriously. They made her all about her family and the constant need to push things on other people was another added trait in the drama. One of the main things i loved about leads in the manga was the fact that they are so different and want completely different things in life, and yet they still fall madly in love with each other and want to live in the now. Not trying to focus so much on trying to change the other person but loving each other to the fullest and finding their own way to love each other.
One of the things in my opinion that made the book so enjoyable was the fact that they both were so confident about themselves. And sometimes for Ryuu it came across as lovable and cute, but not overbearing. They story line explored the vulnerability of both sides of the leads, showing that they both fear the fact they might not be able to give what the other person wants in the end. I feel like in the drama the male lead came out as cute in times but bland and a bit boring a majority of the time. In the book Ryuu was extreme loving, caring, witty, sexy and so much more that i feel we have hit way off base on what we were given.

Now the acting: I'm going to be honest i did not know a single person in this cast but i thought overall it was alright. Was it the best acting in a Japanese drama i have ever seen? No. But it wasn't the worst either. I do feel that a lot of it was because i kept thinking for half of the supporting cast who are you? You shouldn't exist in this story! I know i know i sound really biased since the books is one of my all time favourites but a lot of the added in characters really did not need to be there in my opinion.

The music: One thing i really did love was the music. The listined to the ending song every single time. I thought they did a really good job with that.

Re-watch Value: For me i feel this is one of those dramas i would re-watch when i have nothing else to watch and not sure on what i want to watch next. Just really didn't do it for me.

I would just like to say my re view for this drama might be low but for me, it's because the story has so much potential from the book and there was so much that they could have done with it that it just felt flat and rushed a lot. Especially since they tried to cram it all in 9 episodes. But i honestly feel if i hadn't read the book i would have given it a much higher review.

Finished A Love so Beautiful in just 2 days, and I am so glad I was able to watch it right as the year ends! This drama really brought my year of 2017 to a happy ending :)

Story/plot: -10- I heard that this storyline was very similar to a Japanese drama/manga called “Itazura na Kiss”; however, I have never watched the drama, or any of their remakes, so I am writing this review with nothing to compare it to, pretty much. With that being said, I loved the storyline of this cutesy, heart-warming drama! The cliche style of a not-so-smart girl liking the perfect guy definitely took a positive turn in this show! The transition between high school to college to adult life was pretty smooth, in my opinion, with majority of it focused during their high school years, which made it an innocent and light drama. As the story moves on to the adult life, the relationship between the main leads became more intimate, which made me squeal so many times at 2 o'clock in the morning.

Acting/cast: -10- The height difference between the 160cm Chen Xiao Xi (played by Shen Yue) and the tall 188cm Jiang Chen (played by Hu Yi Tian) made me squeal every time! Both of the main leads are decently new faces to the entertainment world, and they definitely made a good impression, on me at least haha! For her first main-lead role in a drama, Shen Yue did a spectacular job of performing the different sides and attitudes of the character, Chen Xiao Xi, from the happy, always positive high school youth to the independent grown women that Chen Xiao Xi becomes later on in the drama. NOW, LET’S TALK ABOUT HU YI TIAN! OMG, HE IS SOME HAWT STUFF! So cute, and for his first main-lead role, he played it really well! It’s hard to fall in love with someone who plays a, supposedly, cold-hearted, not caring character, but later on, we find out that the character, Jiang Chen, is pretty much the opposite! The way Hu Yi Tian smirks and acts to care for Chen Xiao Xi in the drama can make any girl's heart flutter! (I think I found my next man crush tbh) The supporting roles might have not done a whole lot, but their contribution played a huge impact throughout the whole show, and it made the drama 100X better! Nothing to complain in general, great leads, great actors/actresses, and great chemistry! :)

Music: -10- The opening song is truly the perfect fit for the drama! When I first heard it, I already loved it and how the melody matches the drama’s theme, but after reading the lyrics, it made me love the song even more! If you don’t believe me, take a look yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIKib5Bymz8 I especially love the line “wo xihuan ni pei wo kanshu fen xin kan wo tou xiao” which translates to “I like you when you’re accompanying me to read a book, distracted by looking at me, smiling quietly,” it brings back many ridiculous smiles when I watched the drama, and I can't seem to stop replaying the song in my head now!

Rewatch value: -8- I love A Love so Beautiful and I have rewatched my favorite parts more than a dozen time, but I am sorry, I can’t rewatch the whole drama from the beginning to end more than once. I am not sure exactly why, but I guess the whole drama wasn’t capturing enough for me? For the parts that I love though, I have rewatched it so many times, and I will never get bored of rewatching them!

Overall: -9- This drama truly created a great end to my 2017! The sweet, yet simple story is my cup of tea! I can’t seem to let go of this drama, it was too good and too sweet! The characters played their parts so well, the mixture of the songs and the cute relationships between the characters are too much to be given up so easily. So sad that I watched it in only 2 days! I wish I would have spent more time to savor every second!

If you are looking for a romantic, and heart-warming drama that takes place mainly during the high school life and transitions to more serious matters later on, A Love so Beautiful is definitely the drama for you! Hope this helps and thanks for reading!

Chào for Now!

This was such a good show even though I wish there is a second season to explain the ending of this show. I would recommend watching this. I understand people are sad because it's not a happy ending but it's really good. we don't really know if he is dead or not even though logically there is no way he survived that :(. really wish there is a second season though even though i doubt there will be:( The main lead guy is so adorable omg tho <3 If anyone knows anything about the ending and can explain it to me please do so. like who is the guy in the hoodie? is it him? or is it someone else?:( I would like to think that he survived that but why did she cry so much when she saw the car fall off the cliff? I also read that people said she might of gave him something and he survived by I dont think she did. Like i didn't really see anything?

I Loved it. I think one of the very few K-Dramas I watched without missing a beat! Its also one of the first dramas where I didn't mind that it didn't have a love story. All the characters remained professional from start to end with sole focus on criminals!
True to the name and theme, it was all about NCI finding criminals. The little sneak peak of background stories of each characters were like cherry on top. They didn't delve much into personal lives other than what needed to weave it into the plot.
It was also perfectly excuted.
I am an ardent follower Criminal Minds the original English series, watching this K-Drama brought back so many memories. And they picked all my favourite episode stories from the original series. The execution of the original story into this version was overall good.

I love love loved this drama so much, to be honest. Although it has it's downsides, too, the overall drama was worth watching. The only things I didn't like about Eternal Love was that one, the drama was slightly dragged out. Even for a Chinese drama, fifty-eight episodes is really long. Secondly, some of the characters in this drama were just absolutely infuriating and I wish they had gotten more of a punishment. Other than these two things though, I didn't really find any more downsides to this drama.
I liked a majority of things in this drama, the plot was amazing, albeit a little confusing in the beginning(cause I skipped parts hehe heh he, I know it's a bad habit but it's just a usual thing for me). Eternal Love just has a way of making everything feel so magical and emotional. I don't know very many dramas that can make the whole peach blossom and everlasting love theme a natural thing. Some dramas just over-enforce those two things. The plot flowed quite smoothly(after I stopped skipping parts of course). ^.^
Another thing I loved about this drama was that not only did it include the two main character's love stories, it also included the side character's love stories. Everything that the characters experienced and felt just struck me right in the heart. I could physically feel their pain and I cried along with the characters. Needless to say, I turned to mush and I also used up a lot of tissues.
The clothing, setting, and music was also super great and really fit the theme. Especially the music. Even after finishing and rewatching the drama so many times, I never get tired of listening to the music/songs in the drama.
Also, even after months of finishing this drama, I still thought about it. It really did have that big of an impact because the characters and plot were so beautifully acted out.
That end's my review of Eternal Love. It's amazing, well thought out, and beautiful. Definite 10/10 overall.

Firstly, if you're completely opposed to the idea of dark/black comedy, I'd refrain from watching this film, as it does involve desecrating a corpse in a comedic fashion in multiple scenes. There's a bit of cursing, but aside from that nothing's too visually graphic.

Room No 7 doesn't have much to showcase in its plot, with a general storyline of characters just struggling to pay off debts. It has a relatively slow start, but gradually builds up tension as the film progresses. We aren't given too much background info on any character aside from short reflections, and the film focuses more on the present situations than anything else. The storyline isn't particularly deep in any way, and is for the most part just a fun watch with all the comedic elements it contains.

While the plot was relatively lacking, the acting cast did a great job. Shin Ha Kyun played the role of a desperate DVD bang business owner flawlessly. Although I personally was not fond of his character and personality, watching him was genuinely funny and a joy throughout the entire film. Do Kyung Soo also nailed his role of a university student in debt. While the character was nothing too unique, the expressions he made alongside Shin Ha Kyun were executed excellently. The duo made what would have been a rather dull movie into something that was genuinely funny.

There wasn't much music playing in the background for the majority of the movie, only in scenes with a bit of suspense and scenes that involved a bit of action. Nothing too memorable, but the music synced well with the scenes and never felt too unnatural.

Overall, aside from the comedy, the film is portrayed in a relatively tame, ordinary fashion, in which contributes to what seems to me, a rather a unsatisfying resolution. It was an enjoyable watch, but nothing considerably moving or groundbreaking. Give it a try if you enjoy the actors or are in for some taboo humor.

Okay so to start out I gotta say the acting here is amazing lol.
Best part about this is the lessons that's throughout this plot they're very meaningful.
I do like all couples in here, but sometimes it's annoying. Still it's an enjoyable show.
I didn't like how she was literally mistreated by everyone from her old workplace when she was a writer but other than that everything else is hilarious and great. Oh n se hee's ex like at first I thought she was going to be trouble, but no lol she's such a sweet and likeable character.
Anyways this is a must watch for sure.

“It’s the excited dream that your child has embraced, the mother shouldn’t make it a nightmare.”

This drama is everything. I loved the pretty, the filming, the story telling, the characters. I don’t even usually care about feeling or atmosphere, but I noticed how the setup was so freakin’ awesome and delightful. When I got to the third episode I was so sad, I didn’t want to let go of the drama just yet.
I really like shows that tell stories about people who are good at what they do.

Cha Sik and Yoon Seol meet each other in such normal and affable circumstances, it was such a nice setting. I expected them to meet through a misunderstanding or some form of aggressive combat.
I like how the characters can receive criticism. Cha Sik literally just says, “Acknowledged. Keep going.”

Yoon Seol

I know Kim So Hyun is a popular little actress. But I hadn’t seen her in a main role and I didn’t realise how good she is until now.

Her character in this show starts of prickly. But she soon starts making her own decisions. I like that she defends Cha Sik and she is loyal. She just doesn’t let him take any abuse.

Yoon Seol has these sort of mocking moments that always follow with her sincerity on the topic. For example, she’ll say something mean to Cha Sik, but then follow it up with a sentence that shows him she meant it for herself (unless when she was teaching him).
She also uses parallels of his sport and how that relates to piano. I like that she thought about his point of view when he wasn’t understanding something.

I think one interesting thing about the drama is that Yoon Seol does get tricked because she can’t see. But it ends up better for her that people are tricking her for her own good. In the same way that she says she can’t get embarrassed because she can’t see, she also can’t let her pride get in the way because she can’t see.

Cha Sik

“I know it doesn’t make sense but I will make it so that it does make sense.”

I have loved Ji Soo in everything he’s been in. He’s got crazy good chemistry with everyone. In this show, he really shines as the easy going, optimistic and honest sports student. I have only ever seen Ji Soo play angry, over the top broody and intense characters. Here he keeps the intensity, but instead he is over the top energetic and excited, which is so wonderfully fun to see Ji Soo smiling and being so happy. He is such a simple and open fellow. I almost couldn’t believe that he is the same person because of the other complex and closed characters he’s acted as – he’s just so good. Even when he gets into fights, he’s so jolly, it’s great.
He keeps that beautiful innocence though and it’s just so heart breaking. I was so impressed by his character.

“I you tell me, I will steadily show you my improving fashion.”

“Please don’t misunderstand. We’re meeting to promote a healthy youth appropriate matter.”

“At first I just seem shabby like scrap paper, but after digging in deeper, I’m pretty awesome!”

Cha Sik just gets better and better as the drama goes on. I love that he used sound to make Yoon Seol laugh.

Cha Sik’s mother
Cha Sik and his mother are such a great pair.

“Crazy. Is he some kind of celebrity?”

“Wow Mum, I’m so disappointed. I’m tell you this great secret because you’re my mum!”

Jin Mok
I grew to like him quite a bit and he had some very meaningful moments. I love that he kept Yoon Seol’s curler.

Umm, that ending was rather bizarre. But the whole show was so feel good, let’s just forget what happens after the competition. Oh gosh what a weird ending.

Music
I like that they made some attempts at showing the high level of Yoon Seol’s piano ability. I like the way she bobbed her head to the beat that Cha Sik was missing when she was listening to him play.

I very much doubt that Yoon Seol couldn’t tell the difference between Cha Sik and Jin Mok’s playing. Ridiculous.

Also, no way Jin Mok would be on the same page as Yoon Seol with a piece that speeds and slows down like their arrangement. It would’ve been a hot mess most likely since they’d never played the piece together. Bit of a shame that the climax of the show was based on this impossible musical scenario. A duet of all things is such a form of serious connection between two players.

Musical complaint – a sight reading test is testing skills that are completely different from memorisation tests….

This story, will probably rile up some people and not in a good way. Where in HIStory many people loved the couples, here the leads are often not likable in the traditional drama sense. Hua Quin the main actor can come across as selfish, entitled and bratty, however, if you look beyond that, you will also see that HQ is vulnerable, easily convinced and often unsure of himself and his feelings. He battled depression and became the object of affection of two men, Yan Fei and Pin Jun. Their love triangle was more complicated with the fact that HQ fell in love at first sight with YF and vice versa and YF was already in a two year relationship with Jimmy his partner who suffered quietly in a loveless relationship; though he could have saved himself the heartache if he had loved himself more and ended the relationship when YF asked him to various times.

The story seemed rushed for the most part and there were a lot of plot holes that could have been easily answered if this series had been a bit longer, but overall it was a good story. I liked the way the director/writer played with the color blue to show that these characters were not your typical "innocent/naive/nice/arrogant/villain" typecast. HQ's depression, his indecisiveness, his vulnerability, his happy moments all came through thanks to the actor playing him (Aric).  I felt sorry for all characters and I liked that this drama didn't shy away from showing realities of love and relationships. The color blue also played a big role in the way the main characters interacted; whenever HQ and YF were in the same scene, it always seemed to have "lightness and blues" to show that they were truly in love with each other. While, YF and Jimmy's scenes were often "dark" as well as HQ and PJ.

Music wise, I LOVED IT. I downloaded the main song by MaxLin. It is such a great song and it fit the story well. Overall, if you aren't into the messy love hurts and you don't want to see the "nice guy" be hurt, then don't watch this. But, I suggest you give it a shot and see things from a different perspective. Love hurts, love isn't always kind and sometimes people don't get their happy endings, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be exposed to that.  Also, if you want to see some hot men kissing and touching, it doesn't hurt to watch this (come on most people are watching this for that anyways, don't lie)I for one loved this story, but then again I love messy complicated stories more than sweet ones. So, I hope my review helped some of you in some way.

I just finished this drama so I will write my first review for this drama
Can't believe that my first review is about Chinese drama because basically I am a fan of Korean drama
I don't watch much Chinese dramas, but this drama got me hooked up from the very first episode.
I waited for days to watch episodes with English subtitles.

In all the drama was very refreshing,I loved all the scenes from the past. The transition from present to past was very nice.
I Liked all the characters. Especially the group of four girls who have different personalities and have very special bond even after college is over.
The love stories of other three girls were also very interesting and has same feel where we get to see each character in past and now in present how they have changed.
Fan Kris did a very good job of portraying the cute, handsome, popular, romantic, fun painter when he was a college student and also made an impact portraying the grown up version of the character which is exactly 180 degree shift from past himself.
The background music is amazing.I actually downloaded original song "unfortunately not you" by Fish Leong. But the duet version of this song in this drama is amazing. Cinematography was excellent. Each scene was amazing look wise.

Drama got draggy at the end. I did not understand the ending properly. For that matter the break up of the main couple was little bit disappointing compared to the build up drama made. After we get to know exactly what happened between main couple  the drama becomes slower and has unnecessary plots. It would have been  better if drama would have focused more on the main couple's grown up relationship as it did with the young relationship.
The acting of heroine and the second male lead was not very impressive as compared to others. If you are one of them who gets second male lead syndrome like me then don't worry it will not happen for this drama. Heroine did better job portraying young college student than grown up version.

In all I would recommend this drama for those who love a nice romantic story and have very much open mind about how it ends

The story had a nice flow (couldn't detect any plot-holes, did not have any draggy moments), the actors were all good, loved the music. But somehow wasn't invested in the couple at all... I like LJS and don't mind Suzy as well, so i have no idea what happened there with me... Buuut the plot and the characters were interessting enough to make this watch and enjoyable experience, which flew by fast. It did get way better on the second part, in my opinion, so I'm glad I didn't go searching for any other dramas, while this was airing, and didn't keep it on-hold for too long.

I know that there are a lot of Live Action Dramas or Movies that are really bad and most of the time your expectations get crushed by these. But not with this one. I have to say that this is an excellent Manga adaptation. The movie doesn't add anything to the story of the manga nor does it take out a whole lot of things that are important (As another reviewer already pointed out the movie covers the story of the first three manga volumes). It may have its faults in other areas like some CG scenes aren't as good as they could be and one or two action scenes seem a little awkward. But overall that're the only faults i can find in this movie.
The acting of the cast is quite good. Everyone was really good casted. But the one who shines here is Kubota Masataka as Kaneki Ken. Well I know that he is a great actor. I haven't watched a drama or movie yet where he disappointed me greatly. It's alway the other way around. His display of Kanekis emotions when he's struggling in a world where he doesn't really belong to nor wants to belong to is magnificent. He nailed this character. His acting sucks you right into the movie and holds onto you till the last minute. It's just great watching that.

I can only say to try it out. I had a lot of fun watching this.

I can only say that i absolutely loved this drama!

- I gave a 10 for everything because i loved every aspect of this drama! The story was sweet, funny and adorable! It's not focused only on romance but also has alot ( ALOT) of funny moments between the dorm students!
- The actors were amazing! And i loved how MANY actors there were, it made the interactions so much more fun and it really gave me that sweet highschool friendship feeling! If this is your first japanese drama, the acting ofcourse can seem a bit 'extra' to you, but i like that way of acting alot. It made this drama so much more fun and light, there was not an episode where i didn't laugh! And even though the acting was pretty 'extra' , it also has some serious parts and you can see how characters change througout this drama!
- The music was great too! the opening song is so catchy! I already downloaded it and i sing along with it everytime XD

I am definitely re-watching this drama! If you like japanese drama's with alot of funny and sweet moments and a bit of 'extra' acting and you want something lighthearted , I'd definitely recommend this to you!

This drama was way better then a whole lot of recent family dramas I've been watching, but it also wasn't as dramatic as most, i mean a lot of dramatic stuff went down but nothing  life threateningly horrid or bloody murder attempts. so its pretty PG i thought that it was a real joy to watch with the rest of my family and it didn't really have anything my teenage kids couldn't see except some hair pulling.  The whole story revolves around these two female leads who clash when they meet as teacher and student at a school, Bitna being jealous of her teacher decides to frame her for abuse and from there a whole ordeal of being fired from her first teaching job and going to jail she lives with a criminal record for the next 8 years. Later on they meet again as unlikely sister in laws and eventually  more. I recommend this as a mild watch it while you can drama
enjoy ^_^
