Story:
Okay, so this is one of those drama which could be thoroughly enjoyed when you're binge watching it. As it was aired only once a week, the story may seem a little dragy if you were following it from start. But as a binge watcher I immensely enjoyed the straight 15 hours of this little slow placed but a fairly written drama. The setting was lovable, story was good enough to keep the interest on, character developments were good and man do i love the inner monologue of the main female protagonist? The way she expressed the growth of her first love through her thoughts with such subtlety was nicely written. The story may seem to go around the circle when it comes to male protagonist, but you would forgive the writers by the end for it. Over all i think it was surprisingly well written drama, given I was not planning to watch it at all in the beginning.

Acting/Cast:
I personally think that all the main characters except for few minor ones did a very good job with their roles. Kudos to Joanne Tang and Prince Chiu for amazing performance. I really enjoyed Shao Xi's character. She calmed down alot in the later part of the drama, her expressions were on point, initially I thought that I would be annoyed by her but then I really ended up rooting for her love for Yen Li Zheng. Li Zheng on the other hand killed it at his role. His trauma, insecurity, confusion, jealousy and acceptance- everything was portrayed well by Prince Chiu. One could really see his struggle for the quest of love and the pain of not being able to accept his own feelings. He also turned into Yoo Jung from 'Cheese in thr Trap" from time to time. I swear he gives me such chilly Yoo Jung vibes. The second leads were really nice too. I found the second lead guy very annoying at first but the curse got me at the end and i even shed a tear or two for him. On the other habd Angelina or the second lead girl was a gem. She might annoy the hell out of you at first but then you would grow to love her character. She was the real QUEEN!

Music:
I loved the music. All the songs were really really nice specially the intro and the ending themes. And ofcourse the special mention goes to the song "Close to you". It was soo catchy and pleasing to hear.

Re-watch value:
I would really like to see it again in future when i am bored or if i am missing few characters. This drama was really the character's show.

Ovwrall:
Overall I think it was a really nice drama. I never expected to watch it. I only started watching it because there was nothing else to watch and soon I was on episode 10. It literally took me only one and a half day to fish it. Go watch it guys, you won't regret it!

Ok! For people who watched this drama and said it's not that good cuz we expected better but it's always like that or I'm maybe opposite what people may think.

Story:
Was quite interesting.

Actors:
A lot people said the main lead didn't have chemistry but I don't know why they said that or once again I'm opposite what others think...
I really like the chemistry between 2 main couples. NAM JOOHYUK and SHIN SEKYUNG were very adorable and also very romantic when they kiss. Krystal and Gong Myung were also very cute. After watching my lovely girl I really like her acting and before lovely girl I didn't like her at all (sorry for die hard fans). NAM JOOHYUK was very cute and adorable and hot as Habaek!! NJH improved a lot from debut to now. He is the reason why i wanted to watch this serie???? and the demi god uri IM JOOHWAN oppa did his job very well and I always like his character even it's evil. Shortly they did their job. I can't say it's very bad.

Music:
As usual the music fits it's story.

Overal:
I will give this serie a big thumps up for their effort. It didn't bored me at all... love all the sequence and the chemistry etc.

Please give it a try before posting bad review cuz of other reviews. Normally I watch selected dramas cuz I'm watching series for more than 10 years and I think I know what I'm writing and saying about.

I spend times reading reviews before watching cuz I don't want to spend time for nothing.

This drama is, at the time of writing, available on Netflix. At only twelve episodes of under 30 minutes each, this has very little wasted moments, using the time it has wisely to build up a leisurely, concise, and rather intense show, all in one small package. Even if you find that you aren't immediately drawn in, this is definitely worth watching all of the way through.

To start off with, the show is rather slow to build up. It carefully develops a tone and atmosphere that matches in with the mood and character of the main protagonist; it is melancholy, understated, and almost detached. However, as the story rolls forward, this restrained tone becomes intense, and despite the short amount of time the drama has to play with, we truly get a picture of each of the women living in the house. I found I had to take a break about midway through, because I was almost overwhelmed by the intensity - a first, for me. However, despite this pick up in pace, the show never felt rushed.

To me, this was an absolutely solid drama, with a great cast and set of characters. This is listed as 18+/R on here, but on Netflix it is a 15. I imagine this is more to do with one particular scene than anything much else, but there is nothing overly graphic shown on screen for those of you that might be put off by that.

My love for Ji Chang Wook is no secret. Whenever he comes on-screen I have an almost physical reaction to him.

Really, you should watch me watch him.

I have a huge school-girl crush-y grin on my face, my heart starts palpitating and all the Aaahs and Ooohs on the spectrum emit from my mouth.

However, my personal bias aside, there is no denying that he is an excellent actor. No matter what role he's given, he puts in his 11O% and owns it. Unsurprisingly, he does the same in Suspicious Partner. I spent all my time swooning at his adorable actions, fawning at his beautiful face and admiring the way he is able to smoothly deliver so many expressions all at once.

My obsession with him is exactly the reason why I hate giving any drama JCW stars in, a rating less than 8. It makes me feel all sorts of 'disloyal', but unfortunately sometimes you just gotta tell it how it is.

And the 'it' here is the fact that aside from Ji Chang Wook, this show has little to nothing going on for it.

Suspicious Partner starts as a strong, romantic suspense drama but somewhere in between it loses its identity. So much so, that when we're done with it, it fails to properly execute either of the genres.

I want to give credit to the female lead, for she does try and do her best to be quirky but unfortunately, I don't feel much for her. She feels like a support role, at best. There's also the fact that I had to put a lot of effort in getting over her role as the annoying kid Queen Seon Duk, which was a feat in it self 'cause ten years later, her mannerisms are exactly the same as before.

While there is a good dynamic between Ji Wook's Law Team and some hilarious moments between them, nothing really stands out. The sisterhood and bromance has so much potential to be a golden point of the show but unfortunately, it is left untapped.

There is some majorly good acting put out by the antagonist but the show does not develop his character as much as it deserves to be.

The whole crime mystery is dead and very predictable. The second lead romance falls flat and more often than not, the drama stumbles into the realm of utter boredom.

There are some good OST songs here and there but again, there's nothing I would lose sleep over. A lot of questions are given unsatisfactory answers, plot-holes are abundant and so are convenient plot-devices.

The story-line is mediocre, if we're being kind. They use so many ideas from Ji Chang Wook's other shows. Some scenes are copy pasted from The K2, a whole plot-line regarding the heroine's father is taken from Healer and it is all just more of the same ol' same ol' bs.

If it wasn't for JCW, I'm sure I'd rate it even less. And even though I am an eternal fangirl; I love him to the moon and back and I think he is as perfect as always in this show, I will still say that I didn't see him go the extra mile here. This role couldn't have been a challenge for him and because I know that he's an incredibly versatile actor; I'm so ready for him to bring us something phenomenal and better than this.

So over-all I guess it's a good time-pass.
Not too bad, not too good but extremely forgettable.

STORY: SLOOOOOOOW! OMG SLOW! Essentially it's about James being pimped out for money and drugs. And you only find that out if you managed to stay awake through the whole thing. Seriously, they must spend 20 minutes on baking a cake! Zzz

ACTING/CAST: Only reason I wanted to see this was because ?Gun? is in it. Don't much care about anyone else in this.

MUSIC: Um, there's a song at the end that sounds kinda cool.

REWATCH VALUE: Bathtub scene only, hehehe.

OVERALL: Pointlessly slow. Go watch the bathtub scene cut on YouTube. It's the only part of this movie that was interesting. I hope the sequel is better...

With this film, they really tried to make it about history, but they ended up with a bit of a so so result. The theme was really nice, though the story started from the middle of the events and ended everything up with an epic ending, although it could have been better, with some more explanation on what happened next. The performances were good as well, but the whole thing seemed a little rashly made and everything just happened too quickly so there was not a smooth character build up here. So, if this was better made, it would have been an epic war movie.

A good story, with interesting theme, but really bad ending. Because of that, and some other points where they simply just forgot to explain things and just let everything go with the story (eg shouldn't the girl ask him why he was with someone else and whether they were a couple or not??) Anyway, part from the bad, the movie had a nice love story, good performances and a touching theme, with the girl really presenting a person with hearing disability and how she was affected by the others around her. Still, the ending was too simple.

I have watched this version many times probably because of the music ...i have watched the japanese version of course the main man is my favorite actor in japan. Japanse version is really so much better but korean version is good too.. The main actress in this played it very well so cute especially when she goes abroad i love how the camera follows her while she sings dances plays very cute and the rings at the fountain was so adorable loved it...i give this version a 9.5 versus japanese version 10 only because the japanese version tells more and has many more shows.. loved the main lead in this very much

STORY: Being one of the translators, I've watched this series dozens of times. Some parts of it can seem disjointed but after watching the entire show more than once, I understand it so much better. For one, the black & white scenes are an aside, which was partly confusing at first, but it's like a small narration of the whole story. Again, to fully understand all of the things said, and much that wasn't said, it helps to watch it more than once. If you are wondering about the ending before you watch this, see my spoiler in the comments section.

ACTING/CAST: Some are noobs, all are young, all are cute.

MUSIC: Besides the two different opening songs, which I liked the second one better, there were 3 very good commercial songs. Check the links in the description of the final episode. I really liked the music in this.

REWATCH VALUE: To really understand it, I had to see it more than once. And it's so short, I didn't mind seeing it multiple times. Your mileage may vary.

OVERALL: Well, it's shot in 1080p, which is nice. It's a short production on probably a smaller budget with some young actors, but I did enjoy the show.

Good movie overall, must watch!! Very cute scenes but expect sad moments. Really good acting, hight aspect of this movie was to hear the korean and chinese with no dubbing (sooo nice, it sound so convincing and at the same time so unusual). Visualy cenary very good and pleasant shots both of china and italy and beautiful soundtrack. the quality of the shots and the story line is very nice and has something special, almost like the story cliche doesn't matter overall because of some special scenes (don't want to be spoiler hahaha).

I am new to Kdrama and will be 1 year old (lol) very soon.

Kill Me , Heal Me was my 4th K Drama to watch and I found it very riveting.  I came to love the 3 main characters very much.

Ji Sung as Cha Do Hyeon: my gosh i loved his acting so much. I felt connected to every one of his personalities whether it was because i loved each personality or was annoyed at each personality . It was so well done that as Cha Do Hyeon got to deal with his disorder my heart had become so invested in each personality it helped me to question my own life and my own personality. Lets say that at the end of this drama I was very happy. He made me laugh ,cry and even fall in love with him.

I recommend this drama to anyone.

if i had come here right after watching, i would have given 10/10 for all regardless of the ratings.  but i went and watched the Chinese version and had to deduct some points here, because the original was so good. I understand the criticism this one got.
anyway not here to review about the Chinese version but the korean version. first of all i have to say, i loved this drama...  i had stopped watching kdramas for almost seven years because it got so monotonous and boring, then came across this with no recommendation and no expectations  i didn't even  read the synopsis,  and then wow just wow,  the story got me hooked. coming to the second point,  the cast...  They were all pretty :)  and then there's lee junki my all time favorite.  but kang ha neul caught my eyes  i loved him as wang wook, 8th prince.  and iu  i guess she did Ok
Lee junki was a standout though.
thirdly, the music  the soundtracks...  well some of them had English words and rap,  which kind of didn't fit the historical settings  but damn they are all so good,  the soundtracks was one of the best I have to say.

and lastly i couldn't get over this drama for weeks.  it left me shattered, normally I don't watch tragedy  but this drama is worth it.  worth all the tears and emotions u are going to invest.

i love love love love this drama.  loved the roller coaster ride i had.  i cried i laugh i cringe but this drama is so good.
first of all,  the story revolving around these five women and their growth was fantastic.  they were so real.  they weren't perfect and i fell in love with their flaws which are so relatable.  not many dramas can bring such elements out
secondly,  the simplicity.  i love how simple it is yet so complicated.
thirdly,  the everyday trouble they gets into.  the success and the failures,  the struggle of a being a middle class.  the preference of a male child in backwarded family,
these five women and their friendship was the highlight of this drama.  they weren't bad people,  yet they were judgemental about each other, which exactly shows how human are.  i could go on and on and on about this drama,  so i will a stop here but i gotta say, fan jie/Xiao mei was my absolute favorite.  she made me cry  a whole bucket of tears.  i would highly  recommend this drama to those who are looking light hearted not very serious genres.  plus there's  wang kai,  i love him ????????

one of those dramas that started out so good but gets really boring in the mid.  the story was kinda refreshing for me.  gaming world to the real world.  i have seen many high-school /University dramas, but i thought this was different.  it was fun at first, but got too draggy and boring.
yang yang as a perfect guy, of course he looks like heaven, not that i have seen heaven but everyone assumes it's beautiful so was yang yang.  and even zheng shuang is very pretty. but other than being gorgeous they did nothing for me.  they were lovely couple,  chemistry wasn't convincing though.  the first ten episodes i enjoyed and then for me,  it was going downhill

wow...  just wow!  this could be perhaps the best thai lakorn i  have ever seen.  well to that it's not without some flaws..  and that i would say u get used to it after watching few thai lakorns,
loved the story..  i cried everytime yaya cried and Mark , he's already my favorite thai actor  and it's easy to love him, no matter how much i hated his character in the being.  the angry young man role suit him very much.
won't spoil the plots over here.  but this drama i would recommend for those who love revenge, hate to love genre.  plus the chemistry is amazing between the leads.  the only problem with me was the second leads i fast forwarded their scene.  they were boring to me.
overall really really good..  Mark and Yaya  looking forward to your more projects together
