This is the first review i write because i can't undestand why this drama is so liked: i managed to end it but with a lot of difficulty.
Overall i liked some part of it, for example the dinamic between the 4 men and in particular the cheating husband/rich wife couple, i think their relashionship is the more interesting.
It has some fun parts but i couldn't enjoy them because some characters were really annoying: the main protagonist is a very immature woman of 35 years old, and the young sister, even if ha 24 years old, is so immature and annoying that i skipped almost every part with her.
The plot is really slow in my opinion, and some subplot were useless: everything happened as I expected, that's why I skipped a lot of parts.

The 4 main male actors and the rich wife acting was good, but the main female protagonist was really bad, in my opinion: i don't know if it was because of the character that was given her or because she acts withour any expression in her face, but i didn't like it.

I started this drama thinking that it would have dealt with serious or more mature problem/relashionships, but other than the age and the fact that the protagonist had a past, i think that the topics and the plot in general wasn't really mature. Some reactions in certain circumstances weren't intelligent and thought out: I know that this drama centers on this 4 immature men that have to grow up and stop avoiding situations, but even the other characters weren't mature or likeable.

I didn't particularly like the music, it wasn't my cup of tea.

So overall I waas very bored, I finished it just because I wanted to give it a chance but it was really difficult!

Great Show!...... You can take breaks between cases..... there is any overall arch story (which is considering this is asian drama it is okay) as well multiple short stories (cases) in this series. Acting is great! There is perfect amount of light comedy (the best part of the series imo) mixed into this wonderful CSI kind of series. The cases are pretty cool and quite realistic making it better than CSI (which has sometimes quite whacky science and cases). For those who are wondering if there is any romantic element (like snail falls in love), there is none but that actually this show is actually much better.

I came here because Zhang Ruo Yun (def eye candy) was in it! He was quite good in this drama... all though I am very biased in that manner :P

I'm not a fan of this story. Back then when the anime came out I watched it because it was so popular. It's so exaggerated, the whole "we are otakus and are afraid of beautiful people because we will burn to ashes when we look them into the eye" is a bit strange. After seeing the movie AND the anime I only remember the two boys and the girl. I will admit that I'm very salty about the love triangle. I wanted to see her with ... well ... never mind. So even though I'm not a fan of this story I think the movie did GREAT. It's by far the best anime adaption I have ever seen. The actor played the girl VERY convincingly. I'm a sucker for gender bender and the actor did good. I was not bored for one second. I think I watched it even twice. If you want something fun and well made, and you like boys disguising as girls, then go for it.

I don't usually feel the need to write a review for any drama I watched but for this one I feel I should since it's been and still is being drilled into the ground for no reason.

Yes, the first episode that aired had a scene or 2 that wasn't very "nice" and respectful towards the culture that was being used as a setting, but you know the PD and studio were sorry when they put an apology infront of every episode that aired and they even removed said scene(s) from any streaming or ondemand services. This series is being drilled into the ground because of a mistake they made in 1! episode and in my review I'm going to look further and not let this one-time occurance get in the way of the true gem this drama is.

--The Characters--
Let me just say, the characters are amazing, they all have at least a decent backstory. No character is empty or just there to fill air. They all have some role, even abdallah who is just a right-hand and probably has the least backstory honestly for me was one of the most enjoyable characters. This actor is someone you should keep an eye out for, he's amazing.

--The Story--
If you take everything away, the story is nothing special. It's a normal plot but it's being made awesome by the cast. They truly went for it and it makes you feel good.
The humor is amazing too, choi min-soo as the rich long lost father is gold. He manages to put this silly humor into his scenes which turns all of them into magic.

--Overall--
Overall this drama is gold, the characters all add something which turns a simple plotline into so much more.
Please don't let all the hate talk on the internet turn you away from this drama, it's definetly a must watch and you won't regret it.

This is a 6 part series and second Season of the said title.

The cinematography was great. There are few handshake on the camera but its okay. The actors are really great, especially with their emotions and scripts. It is like they are really the one who is the character in real life.

This Chinese series tells the viewers the reality of life. There are things that whatever we do, even if we try to be ours, even if we force to happen, it will never happen. Something really does not matter to us even though we love it. Then it's still worse, it's not going to happen, you're still hoping for hope. ; Is not that worse? They are giving you false hope on the things that will never be together. It's like drinking water even there's no water at all.

Most chinese series, pure sad endings, why so? Are they bitter or is it really just the reality of life? Surprisingly there are characters from the Season 1 that jumped here in Season 2, reminding us that, even if 'did not happen to our heart's wish, we could even do something that would have happened, not even your original. Well, "We can still be friends even when you're married." Ganon.

This is actually my first Thai drama bcoz of mike. I found about him through aomike videos. And I started watching it from the second season only. But read the first season story.

This Lakorn looks like a old Korean drama where the main lead is having brain tumor but hides it from all. And the girl who always gets annoyed with her boyfriend ( I mean pat ). The girl I loved most is pie she loves mike very sincerely. But she too atleast become brainless. And her sister who always smiles in unwanted places and gets into trouble. Lovable characters are pie's dad and golfmike's mom.

Music is not catchy, acting feels weird from most of the actors ( since it is their first time in acting ) story is ok but screenplay is not so good. Rewatch value is only 4 bcoz if u bored to death and u like golf mike, you can watch this again. Overall very average type of drama

Having been wow-ed by Ken Theeradeth in 'Neung Nai Suang (2005)' despite not liking the overall plot-premise of the show, I went on a Ken Theeradeth hunting spree and chose to settle for the non-slap/kiss romantic comedy that is 'Oum Rak'. Fantastic choice!

STORY (No spoilers)
In the 'Fated To Love You' style cliche of having main leads being thrown together through an intoxicated 'one-night-stand' which leads to pregnancy and all the resulting drama that comes with two unprepared parents-to-be, this show can be quite dramatically funny with occasional touches of poignancy.

There were comedic situations for our main leads but that was mainly during the first one-third of the show. The remaining two-thirds were surprisingly rather grounded and warmly heart-tugging as our main leads settled into an agreement to see through the pregnancy process together. This show is more involved in showing viewers the changes and stages a mother goes through during a pregnancy, more than any other show I've seen which involves this trope. I don't know about you, but this was really one of the best parts of the drama, for me.

I absolutely loved seeing how Rachen (Chen) quickly stuck right in and transformed from being an impulsive man-child into a dedicated, caring and responsible man through it all. He embodied your modern metrosexual man in that he not only didn't mind, but actually wanted to know all about what a woman goes through during pregnancy. He took pains to read, learn and get as involved in the process as he possibly could, and nothing was too squeamish or personal for him - from breast pains to morning sickness to foot massages and ante-natal classes. This guy is just such a precious sweetheart from start to finish!

On the other side though, you have the aggressive and hot-tempered Napat's detached and annoyed reaction at the whole pregnancy thing. She didn't want the baby, knew it would hamper her modelling and acting career, and she behaved exactly as someone who didn't want to get pregnant but had little choice but to suck it up and see the whole thing through - ill-tempered, quarrelsome, reckless and uncaring.

The difference in attitudes and in the characters between the would-be parents, and to have the male/ father being by far the more dedicated one of the pair, is a surprising but interesting twist to your average pregnancy trope. I liked this change in dynamic and I loved how this show so excellently depicts it. I'm glad to say that Napat eventually grows more emotionally engaged as her pregnancy advances, and with that comes another change in the relationship dynamic, which was another compelling watch.

What I thought was another good thing about this show is that a lot of the emotional heft and moments come from the agreement and arrangement which the main leads have settled amongst themselves. What was thought of as a good and suitable arrangement slowly grew fangs and they were gradually feeling the bite of it as time passed. For me, some of the best emotional moments in the show was when both leads were individually feeling that bite themselves. How nice is it that bulk of the conflict and issue within the drama was one of the main leads' own making, rather than a third-party interference?

And on that note, yes, of course this is a tv drama, so you will always have interfering third-parties, but for me, their interference was really of the pot-stirring kind, rather than the bomb-chucking sort. There were no real villains here - just interested parties trying to stir up an already rather finely-balanced situation. But those pot-stirrings didn't really last that long (another great thing about this show). The main leads generally know where their priorities should be and they are rather good at keeping their focus on the right ball. Seriously, how many shows are like this? Love it!

We do have a couple of other side stories running alongside the main couple. Both are secondary couples also trying to have a baby and finding it a lot harder than our main couple (who basically just hit the jackpot in one sitting). Both couples have very different dynamics in dealing with this, and I also liked seeing this difference. One is there for comic relief/ humour, while the other is more heart-wrenching. I thought both were lovely complements to the main coupling, even if the comedic couple were often a bit over-board in their characterisations.

ACTING/ CAST
The supporting cast and the secondary couplings were generally solid. Aside from the two second leads who were pretty one-note i.e. Mark (who is interested in Napat) and Jasmine (who is interested in Rachen), the other supporting characters and secondary couples had distinct personalities and motivations which made them more emotionally relatable, at least for me. I particularly liked Rachen's family unit and their portrayal through the show.

JAYME BOOHER as Anna, Napat's best friend (whom I also recognised as playing the rather annoying second lead female in 'Neung Nai Suang'), was great in her portrayal of Napat's BFF. She is what every BFF should be like - entirely supportive through thick and thin from buying pregnancy test kits to arranging doctor visits to lending a listening ear and offering sound advice. She was a huge advocate of Rachen having rights as the baby's father too, and made every effort to keep our main leads together - something I whole-heartedly supported. Her portrayal here is very different from that in 'Neung Nai Suang', but she pulls both off well.

ANNE THONGPRASOM as Napat (Pat). She did not impress me that much in the first few episodes - partially due to her character's arrogant and abrasive personality, and partially due to her looks which were not to my personal taste.
But she grew on me as an actress, especially when her character started to take her pregnancy more seriously and when she also started to reflect on her relationships and her future with her baby. Anne was able to show a lot more range and emotions when the show progressed, which was really wonderful to see. It is not an easy task to show conflicted internal turmoil (the hallmark of any good actor/ actress is whether they can pull this off well, for me), and Anne nailed her scenes here. She was able to show Napat slowly evolve and mature from your selfish and prideful woman into one who has learned to love and to seriously consider how to balance her future of career vs baby. She had her insecurities, hang-ups and doubts too which played a part in her making some of the decisions she chose to make, but there is no denying that her character had evolved through the show, and that Anne was able to show that progression all the way.

KEN THEERADETH as Rachen (Chen). What can I say? I was amazed and impressed by his portrayal of Anawat in 'Neung Nai Suang', and here he plays a very different character in Rachen and he nailed it once again. This guy has officially won me over for his stellar acting prowess and for his charming smile.
Rachen is a very different character from Anawat. While Anawat was in essence a gentleman of his time, Rachen is your modern day cocky and temperamental man. He is impulsive, loud and emotionally driven.
Unlike Anne's Napat, Rachen's emotional outbursts come across more childish than annoyingly offensive, and I think this is something only Ken can pull off. He can make a dislikable character, or dislikable character traits, less dislikable for some reason. I think it is a combination of his looks (yes, being that handsome helps a great deal), and his ability to imbue subtle nuances to his character's looks and actions.

Ken has great expressive ability and this show gives him lots of opportunity to showcase it. There is a lot of playfulness and cheekiness on show here (which is just great because Ken's smiles are so lovely, and his comic expressions hilarious), but there is also plenty of internal doubts and disappointments too. His character's earnestness in wanting to be involved in every aspect of the pregnancy process is also just too adorable and sweet for words.
Best of all, Rachen, like Napat, grows and matures throughout the series and from the man-child he was at the start, he slowly grows to be a man who takes his responsibilities seriously and carries them as best as he possibly can. This evolution was also wonderfully portrayed here.
In short, Ken plays every aspect of Rachen like a maestro and best of all, he makes it all look so effortless and natural.

This is my first time seeing Ken/Anne and I can't deny that Ken's chemistry here with Anne is a lot better than that with Janie in 'Neung Nai Suang'. Perhaps it is also Anne's acting ability (she is head and shoulders above Janie from what I've seen so far) because Anne is able to emote a lot better and so perhaps Ken is able to capitalise on that and also bring out more ability from his side. Or maybe they are really comfortable with each other from the start.
Whatever it is, I can see why they make a great on-screen couple. Their acting is very balanced between them - when one is being over-the-top, the other is equally over-the-top, but when one is being quietly emotional, the other can also be equally quietly emotional. There is a very good and equal balance when they both interact on-screen so both characters develop memorable and individual personalities that play off each other well and none are really completely overshadowed by the other.

MUSIC
I loved the background music and the sound effects on this show. I thought it really added to the tone and mood of each scene, and even though I don't understand Thai and the meaning behind the vocals of the songs, the melody is still a nice scene and mood setter.

RE-WATCH VALUE
Yes, definitely re-watchable, even if it is just for Ken's cute smiles and adorable sweetheart actions. A brilliant romantic comedy - it brings on the laughs but it also brings along the feels. Honestly, it has been a long time since my heart was so emotionally touched during some of the poignant and emotionally-driven scenes, and 'Oum Rak' has now become one of my favourite romantic-comedies.

This series is divided into four mini-episodes. Everything is based on the true story of the characters lives. This is the season 1 so here are the first things to see.

The first episode showed one of the most problems of schools, bullying. When there is a different eye, besides these people are no longer accepted, exploited, and abused. But in spite of all, this stage shows the face of love that can endure everything. You'll endure everything, sacrifice for the person you really love.

In the second episode show Love in the face of time. Even after long time, at the same place, at other times, we know, that it still meets. Love will see us through.

In the third stage the sacrifice of a loved one is shown. You are sacrificing everything for that person, and after many years, the person who caused your sacrifices will also be the cause of your destruction. It hurts to think that you have left everything for him, but he'll will leave you too.

And the final stage is the most epicenter of all episodes. The question is: What if the person you love is can't be in your life because of tradition?
This last episode shows the lesson of tolerance. Even if you're not the person to say the phrase, "Yes, I Do.", you'll let him go. Even if it's painful, even if it's the cause of your life, you will end your relationship with each other.

This is one of the best, if not THE best Japanese drama ive ever seen.

Story: Story was great, i liked how every episode had a different problem and usually ended in one episode. Although there was an underlining story, it was a bit confusing and I think they could've done a better job with it cause it seemed all over the place. I wish they had more of a back story for all the characters and how they got to where they are now, maybe they will do that in a second season cause it defiantly needs one.

Acting/Cast: Literally the best, finally some acting that wasn't over the top and crazy from a J-drama. They clicked so well, they all had their roles, and i always love seeing a girl that can kick ass.

Music: I gave music the only 10 cause i wanted to emphasize how freaking LITTY the music was. From the theme song to the instrumentals in the scenes they all fit so well I was enjoying the music more so the actual scenes.

Rewatch: Great thing about most J-dramas is that they have low episode counts making the easily rewatchable.

Overall: Great drama, gonna sit here and patiently wait for a second season :)

I like gender bender stories a lot but there aren't many good ones out there. It's so obvious the girl is a girl and not a boy. Vice versa the same. Even boys with girly faces are looking like a dude in drag because of the broad shoulders. And girls disguised as boys can fool nobody because of the tiny figure, hands, feets.
That said Yoon Eun Hye played the tomboy convincingly. I have seen a few korean dramas but I'm not an expert. Compared to other dramas "Coffee Prince" seemed to me very fresh, not so much cliche. The guy was charismatic and how the love story evolved ... It was very nice. The kisses, the interaction between the characters, it all felt so natural, funny and passionate at the same time. It makes your heart beat faster. Don't miss this one. Just don't.

It's one of those series that make your heart beat like crazy. I don't really know why. It wasn't done very well, the male lead was cold (he was supposed to be like that I know), the kisses were stiff, the female lead was stupid and annoying. I never read the manga, didn't watch the anime and I don't feel like watching any other adaption of this story. The special episodes released were pretty stupid too. So why did I like it? Who knows ... It's about falling in love and being hurt by the one you love ... and never giving up on love ... sigh ... somehow it was touching and I started rooting for the girl ...

I have to say, this is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL drama TV show i had ever seen. From story to music, it was perfect. I watched it about 4 times so far. I am Japanese-Chinese, after this show, my Chinese improved a lot! Mark Chao and Yang Mi were perfect for each other, every time when Mark looked at Yang, his eyes, and lips showed nothing but love, even when Mark was Yang's teacher. Those love was quiet and gentle as well as powerful. I was in tears while i watched the show, the story was so lovely and sad, yet it was beautiful. I would like to thank the writer and the "funny, down-to-earth" producer for their creation and hard work, especially the producer, thank you for picked out Mark and Yang for the main role, they were made for each other, the bonding between them are unbreakable. Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms made me laughed and made me cried, made me want to fall in love all over again. After watch this show, i could not find or bring myself to watch any other show now, sadly. There were something about this show were so different compared with the others, it was not just the dresses, hair style , story, acting and music were outstanding , it was something about Mark and Yang when they were together, Mark is handsome, but not super handsome, Yang is beautiful yet not super beautiful, but when they were together, they had complete each other in a unspeakable way. Everything happened for a reason, hope Mark and Yang can treasure what they discovered and builded between them through the Eternal Love no matter in front of the camera or without the camera. I am truly hope there are will be Eternal Love 2, still have so many loose ends. Is it possible?? Thanks, Mark and Yang, and the team, you guys had bough this style of drama to a higher level, it was time well spent. Mark and Yang, when will you two team up again? No film will go wrong as long as you two are in it!!!!

The sequel of the first samurai movie has a lots of action but some unsolved plot twists. The main character, having finally found peace, he is summoned back into the world of killing in order to preserve that peace. Honestly, the girl who always gets disappointed over the non killing thing was annoying, but other than that, she wasn't in the film much. The action sword scenes were really good and the whole thing was once again a big production when it came to settings, costumes and special effects. The performances were good as well. But, my only concern was that everything seemed to just pave the way towards the third movie. So, 8 out of 10.

If you like ninja-samurai movies, this one is perfect for you. Sure the characters are a bit manga like, but the action and the whole universe is amazing. Actually, the costumes and the settings were realistic and created an atmosphere of authenticity. The story is quite catchy as well, and entertaining to boot. In addition the characters were interesting and the good performances helped a lot to support the movie, as it had many sword fights. The action scenes were well executed and didn't look fake. The soundtrack supported the mood of the movie as well. So, 8 out of 10.

It wasn't too long ago when I saw Hero, the deliciously quirky "detective" story that followed Kohei Kuryu and his offbeat sleuth skills that caused the heads of his fellow prosecutors to spin. While not the most memorable series for me, it was fun, inviting, and utilized the massive talent that made up the cast to the fullest. So now Kimutaku returns as the Hero, only this time he's transferred to a new city, with a new case to solve, and a whole new cast.

It is the cast that brings the show down to a disappointing level. It is not so much because they cannot act; on the contrary, I think Tsutsumi Shinichi is an excellent actor. However, when a special airs of a show that previously ran, one would expect the entire cast to return in full force. This was not the case, and for the most part I believe it was a rather large letdown for many viewers, including myself. This became apparent to me when the last several minutes of the show was the most satisfying; no thanks, however, to the central storyline.

To be fair, the subtitles that I was reading were not very good. I really don't wish to say this because I am very appreciative of the ample time and hard work that goes into translation and subbing. Still, there were parts that left me dumbfounded, and because I couldn't pick up smaller bits of information, the epiphanies in the show were lost on me until later when it was spelled out for me. With this in mind, it would be unfair for me to judge the writing. Regardless of the intricacies of the plot, the overall plot was completely transparent and after watching the first several minutes I was able to outline what was going to happen through the whole story with abnormally high accuracy. This is not a good thing when I can't understand people's lines half the time.

The acting wasn't all too good either. Tsutsumi-san was great to watch, becoming a completely different duo with Kimura-san than that in Good Luck!!. To be able to portray characters that are so different is a sign of incredible ability. Kimura-san was decent. I think he tried hard and did the best he could, but the writing for his character didn't seem to match quite right with the writing for the original series. I recall him being quirky but somewhat cool and quiet, doing things without explaining them to others. In this special he talked far too much. Notably, Nakai Kiichi landed a great performance as the prime suspect.

Since the original cast was absent for the most part and the location was entirely different, the music was a welcome hit of nostalgia as it remained largely in tact. I enjoyed the music just as much as I did when I watched the original, and the themes carries the excitement of the hunt for the truth as well as appropriate themes for the emotional parts.

Hero was hard to watch as I struggled with the subtitles, but regardless the story was simple and predictable. While the end was very rewarding, it was not so because of the main story which means I felt like I had to trod through two hours of tediousness for four minutes of fun. A decent special, but disappointing for its primary audience -- the watchers of the original series.
