The film relies on a careful exchange of romanticism with that of the supernatural elements that, plausibly, promote the growth of its two main characters and their love relationship. It does not fit into the overly tempted notion of the tragic and common loss in novels, especially considering how many other films usually have one of the characters with some deteriorating disease or terminal illness to defend ideas of forced separation. His uniqueness in the narrative structure separates it from similar films that maintains the genre and, along with an excellent cast and direction, produces an emotionally touching, unconventional, and ultimately quite memorable viewing experience.
"Tomorrow I Will Date With Yesterday's You" makes you think more about the situation in which the two main characters were and the consequences that this would mean to them.
By Japanese standards it may have been some movie, but it is not, the story is well written, it has a coherent logic, it seems to be difficult to understand at first, but they have a transition of interest that makes you understand it perfectly. It's worth it!

Story wise, I think this drama has an interesting story. The writer is so creative to think of this kind of story. Although the story is rather complex, I find myself enjoying each episode. I fall in love with every character and really symphatize each and every one of them. The flow is not fast nor slow; I think it is perfect.
Acting/Cast wise, Ji Sung is superb. Amazing. Excellent. Perfect. I don't think I could express my respect for him. He played various characters in this drama and he did it perfectly. I always see him as a different person every time he played a different personality; I can see how depressed Yo Seob is, how annoying Yoo Na is, how broken Se Gi is, how fragile Do Hyun is. I have nothing but praise for Ji Sung. Besides Ji Sung, the other actress and actors also did a great job portraying their character.
Music wise, I love the main ost. It really makes me feel the emotions the characters are feeling better. And, it is the kind of music that you can unconsciously hum and think of everytime you hear the word 'Kill Me Heal Me'.
However, in terms of rewatch value, I don't think it is an enjoyable drama to be rewatched. I tried rewatching this drama before but I find myself not enjoying it as much as I did when I watched it for the first time. Maybe it is because Kill Me Heal Me has a complex story so you feel satisfied only by watching it once. Moreover, since Kill Me Heal Me involves some 'mystery' and plot twist, you don't really feel the thrill of finding out the mystery and plot twist when you watched the drama for the second time (u know the twist already).
Overall, I am satisfied with this drama. As a psychology major student, I highly recommend this drama for people who are interested in psychological dramas. I think this is one of the best psychological dramas :D

Park Seo Joon was great in this role. I don't feel like I'm being biased, because I didn't really care for him at all until recently. He had a good character to play in this show and was charming in the role. I wasn't quite sold on Uhm Jung Hwa for her role, though. I felt that she was a bit miscast as I kept feeling that the age difference was too big between them. If it had been a different actress, it may not have felt quite so vast even if the gap was the same. I also don't feel like I am biased against her, as I actually enjoyed her in the last show I watched her in (even though the show itself was disappointing). I enjoyed the actors that played Soo Chul, Na Rae, Min Gu, the mom, and the boss. However, I disliked Shi Hoon (can't pin down a specific reason, but there are a few) and Eun Chae (just not expressive enough). Park Seo Joon was really the shining, charismatic element to this show, followed by the actor playing Soo Chul.
The music was average, nothing stand out. I watched this on Drama Fever, so I don't know if it was particular to this platform, but there was an annoying little mid-show pause where it showed UJH's character with the name of the show and a little bell sound. Like when a show pauses for a commercial and comes back. It really took me out of the story every time it happened.
It was an okay watch, but nothing really stand out or special in any way to me. I also felt let down by the ending as it felt a little bit open. I think the main characters deserved a better wrap up. I won't rewatch this.

Story: Center piece is a woman 40+ who is dumped by ex's at least 4x's, 20 somethings, 30 somethings and 60+. Yes, the full spectrum of humans going through life and all the angst of finding love. The story starts off like a silly antic Cinderella C- iteration, then about eps 12 you realize all the eps before are backstories and the story-line begins to flush out in a classic Cdrama way. Then eps19-20 happens and cinderella/glitter gets explained - and the story moves ahead.
Actors/Cast: Love the centerpiece actors - mature yet NOT. All cast were good, no-one stood out.
Music: typical Cdrama sounds some not necessary, silly and more important so cliche.
RW: eps 20 especially Richmond's talk during the movie screening.
Overall: If you are looking for a drama, done well and with REALITY worked into the Cinderella story-line you might enjoy this one. Could have been 15eps for my taste however I loved the ending. It offered the twists - that life does not offer glitter endings. In life, we are gifted glitter moments to be cherished cause glitter 24/7 life is pure fairytale!

Story wise, Sassy Go Go is such an inspiring and enjoyable drama. Unlike other high school dramas which focused on romance, I personally feel that Sassy Go Go look beyond that. It has successfully portrayed teenage life perfectly; the struggle to meet your parents' expectation, the problematic friendship issue, being torn between doing what you love or doing what others think you should do, the painful romance issue and so much more.
Acting/Cast wise, I believe that the actors and actresses are perfect for their roles. Considering that it was my first time seeing all those actors and actresses, I was very impressed by their acting and how they express their characters. However, I am particularly impressed by Chae Soo Bin who played Kwon Soo Ah. Her acting is superb; she could make me hate and love her at the same time. For the first part of the drama, I hated her so so much but then for the later part of the drama, I found myself loving her character.
Music wise, I love the music used in the drama. I think the music supported the scenes well. However, I think the music is not memorable enough. It is not the kind of song I would unconsciously hum or think of whenever I heard the word 'Sassy Go Go'.
I feel that this drama has a high rewatch value. I had rewatched this drama for more than 2 times but every time I watch it, I don't feel bored even if I know the story. I still laugh at the funny scenes, cry at the sad scenes and feel annoyed at the annoying scenes.
Overall, this drama is highly recommended.

At first I was daunted at the fact of watching 156 episodes for a Japanese family drama. However when I found out that each episodes only consists of 15 minutes each, I realized that this is simply like watching 39 episodes of Korean drama without the redundant factors and draggy moments. This is what I love about JDramas, they go straight to the nitty and gritty details instead of mooning over things for at least 10-15 minutes in which the main lead stares and contemplates into the air and the background music only plays over. Heh. Setting that aside, what I enjoyed most about this drama is having my favorite actress Inoue Mao on screen while she starred alongside the good looking actor Kengo Kora. I’ve seen the guy in so many movies and several dramas and he never ceases to make smile as I simply stare at him. He’s such an eye catcher.
Since the setting is around World War II and Japan has been colonizing its neighboring countries, the people who lived in Japan during those times were also in turmoil despite being a powerful country back then. Mao who acted as Yoko, portrayed an average girl living during those days. Her character somehow showed how war can turn a bunch of ordinary people living mundane lives to suddenly struggling to survive during and after the war. The overall feel and transition of the storyline isn’t violent or brutal and it has this sense of hope all throughout the drama. It was light and consistent. Another factor that made this good is the supporting cast, starting with Yoko’s family, then her best friends, the Maruyama Family and finally to her students whom she was able to support and vice versa until she grew old.
The cinematography is fairly simple and was definitely shot in a studio but the fact that they created the place nicely gave it a warm feeling of familiarity. The background music was okay, although not that memorable but it really had a nice ring to it as the OST played softly in the background.
I would love to rewatch this again if I had the chance. For now, I’m recommending this for those looking for a family drama and looking forward to watching something light, heartwarming and inspiring all at the same time.

If you like a serious thought provoking drama, this one is for you. But if you just want some entertainment to waste your time, don't bother with this one. I have to say this PD and screenwriter's works can be rather boring to some people and they require the viewers to pay attention to every line of dialog in order to appreciate them. This can be challenging for viewers whose first language are not English or Korean, because the subtitle can be a bit strange.
The show talks about a lot of social and political issue such as capitalism vs socialism, conservative vs liberal. Everyone wanted to build a great country, but they subscribed to different ideologies that eliminated one another. There is no right or wrong, but to say there is no superior way is simply untrue in my opinion.
While it doesn't look expensive, there are some really beautiful shots. I also find the ending beautiful if not satisfying.

The story was adorable but I do wish rather it it being just a romantic comedy, I wish it had some drama too. The characters have so much potential in being something more and I really wish they were just a little bit more so I could have a better connection with them but then again this show wasn't suppose to be melodrama but still part of me wanted that.
Overall though if your looking for a heart warming, cute story that makes your own heart skip a beat then this is definitely the show for you. I binge watched the whole series in one day but I highly doubt I'll find myself watching it again, not because it was bad, just simply because I didn't totally feel connected to the characters throughout the story. Regardless, I still recommend it as a romantic comedy because in that aspect it was gold. Kwon Yuri did amazing so did the rest of the actors. She's just so cute.

The first half of this show is great. It’s still strong as it goes along. But the big reveal somehow seemed unsatisfying. Of course there are some moments when they hit the nail on the head with the feels but other times I just felt disconnected. It’s mainly Sung Joon’s character. I feel like we don’t get to experience what she’s thinking. Her decision making feels detached. The most impactful moments are when Min Ho doesn’t know whose heart he now possesses. I was glad that the show explored togetherness. I still would’ve liked the drama to explore more how the two would navigate a relationship. But I suppose the general feels is that love conquers all.
Min Ho
Min Ho is a funny character.
“I’m going to send you flowers until I die!”
He plays the sinister as well as he does the comedy. I really love how naturally he talks, the way he mucks around, and he’s so darn quirky.
“What kind of charms do you have exactly? You are only as tall and skinny as me, like anchovies.”
Despite Min Ho’s doubts about his romancing, he does it quite naturally. Min Ho is such an adorable sap when he’s in love.
“But I’m a little sad. I thought this feeling was very special and precious.”
“This special feeling, I wish it was mine.”
“Come hell or high water, I am going to love you.”
I like that from the start Min Ho looks at Sung Joon in a very intense way.
He is rather vulnerable around her when he’s not being a jackass. It’s so strange.
If it wasn’t for Sung Joon’s gentle persistence and belief in him, he would be such a douche. But she rounds him out nicely. Makes him human.
“Either way Director, you’re not a bad person. You’re just hurt on the inside.”
Min Ho has a few great lines.
“It’s not my fault.”
“But I liked you because you’re you, Kim Soon Jung. I just wanted to tell you that.”
“I didn’t have a need to love because I didn’t have a next time for me.”
Joon Hee
Joon Hee is the bad guy. But he is also the kicked puppy.
“Joon Hee and I don’t have any family. If we don’t take care of each other, nobody will do it. We have lived this way for all our lives.”
This would be nice if it were true. But Joon Hee still has a dad who Joon Hee kicks all the time. Also, Sung Joon still had a dad into adulthood.
Dong Wook
“As I’ve always told you, happiness may seem to just pass by, but sadness passes by as well.”
Dong Wook is the honest and straightforward fiancee. I really liked how well he knew Sung Joon.
After he dies, it’s actually really sad to see where his heart leads him and how his heart reacts in his new body.
It actually is really romantic how Dong Wook’s love for Sung Joon is so strong that it’s biological.
At first I thought it was miserable that his romance gets lost in Min Ho’s blooming relationship with Sung Joon. But in a way, Min Ho gets his comeuppance by forever having Dong Wook live through him in the little things.
Sung Joon
Sung Joon is a cool character. I love how unfazed she is by Min Ho’s brusqueness and bullying.
She doesn’t have family but her fiancee’s family loves her.
Sung Joon is stalwart. She is steady and doesn’t let her emotions get the best of her. She’s one of those scary secretaries that know how to keep a straight face.
Anything that happens in life, she’s ok. Fiancee dead? Fine. End of her career? Fine.
Sung Joon is an amazing secretary who really looks out for her company and her bosses’ best interests.
I love her direct politeness. How feisty she is even while being impeccably respectful.
The only thing I didn’t like about her was her moralistic, over righteous behaviour. Sometimes it seemed out of place and forced.
Other than that, I loved how insightful she is.
Most times her feelings towards Min Ho are unclear but I like that she says this, “No matter how serious the situation is, you always make me laugh.” And I could see that was definitely a big part of their relationship.
Dong Wook’s Dad
He’s a great guy and a real lovely Ahjussi. “My son’s death wasn’t completely meaningless.”
He has many beautiful moments in the drama.
“My heart knew then. There’s something about this guy! That’s the relationship between a parent and a child.”
“Maybe you love those two in different ways.”
But he’s also really funny too with the way he interacts with Min Ho.
“This used to be my son’s favourite dish! I guessed it correctly!”
“Why are you looking for vicarious satisfaction from someone else’s son? How perverted.”
