Funny, romantic, perfect. This is my description of the drama. Like serieusly if you haven't watched it yet. DO IT RIGHT NOW!! >.<

Mei-chan is a really strong character. She lost so much but still keeps it together. She looks like a though girl but is breakable.

Kento is also amazing, he really enthousiastic and a bit clumsy but still very cute. ( don't know if that is good for a handsome gguy -.-???)

I also love how mei and kento call each other four-eyed udon and Mame Shiba. They are reallyy close.

Rihito is the hot badass guy in the story. He is a perfect butler you won't be able to find any flaws.
He also developes more further in the drama, you learn about how he really is and what he feels and thinks. This is something good because i like mysterious things.

All the classmates are also amazing, although that the acting could have been done better, it is still amazing. All bulers have a different personallity that you learn about further in the drama. All girls have different problems and find different ways to resolve it.

Of course with help from mei.

It is really worth watching, so go right now 0-0

hey so I just finished this about a day ago and I want to say wow. Firstly the immense character growth Joongki showed in Maaroo's character was amazing.
He started of as brilliant loving happy guy who makes a sacrifice so big for the girl he loves and has always protected. I feel Maroo has a complex of sorts he has this need to protect women he loves. Even if it means sacrificing everything he has and his life. He throws his career and even caring for his sick sister all for the girl he loves and goes to jail for 5 years next he comes back and will not hear one negative thing about her despite knowing that she is the mistress of some old looser. Eeu gee just wants someone to love her. she is tough as a rock on the outside and Maroo is incredibly manipulative into getting into her life. Though that what most people think Maroo is being manipulative I feel he was a desperate man doing anything he could to hate Jae hee the way he was suppose to. But he could not he was far to kind but when her lies got too be too much he changed and realized that if someone loved you they would not choose money over you and with Eeun gee, who gave up her world for him it was easy. to understand who to love and who not to love. Eeun gee on the other hand has never been poor but to her love means everything while money means nothing Jae hee is her opposite she knows the power she holds over the men in her life and uses it to her advantage. Joong ki is so hand some and after DOS he was officially my oppa but omg. I want him to be my doctor, fiance innocent man. The writer who wrote this show is rather clever. they made the characters believable rather than what shows usually do in order to make the main characters whitened shine the brightest by making the others darker they gave everyone equally grey shaded characters. If you watched previous dramas and movies with Joong ki you know his acting is so good so whats stopping you attack this show is
amazing. you will spend 20 hours without skipping a minute of it

Might be cute for those who never watched the anime / read the manga. However, it was very disappointing for me. This is probably because I watched the anime before and loved it, so I had HUGE expectations for this when the film was announced, but I don't it is anywhere near to being as good as the anime.

It might have been better if they made it into a 12-episode (at least) drama as it was obvious that they rushed the story in this movie (a lot isn't covered and it just doesn't seem complete nor as fulfilling).

However, I think the actors portrayed their roles amazingly well, especially Yamazaki Kento. He is such a good actor and so good-looking too!! >< The female lead was also really good. The only biggest problem I find with this is that it is way too rushed due to the short time available in a movie. I hope they decide to make a drama version of this movie soon!

I just love this drama!

it really capture the pure romance, the way the characters act are also so cool, compared to the other drams I watched. When I started watching it, I just couldn't stop. Everyday, when I get home, I just open my computer and start watching it.

The main characters were amazing. The guy was intelligent, cool, good at sports and also at computer. The girl was smart, kind, beautiful and good at playing games at the computer. They were such a good couple!!! The 3 friends of the main characters, the guy, were so hilarious and humorous, they made me laugh so hard. (ps. maybe its just me who thinks they are funny cause they were of speaking or jokes, i'm half chinese so... maybe its just me)

The plot was really amazing.

REALLY GOOD DRAMA, I RECOMMEND IT!!!

Its a pity that it didn't showed us their marriage.
But great story!!!

It's been a while since I saw this, but I remember it well. I'll keep this review short and to the point.

Story
It's obvious that this drama's target is the EXO-L's/fans. Looking at it from that angle - the concept is not a bad one. Which fangirl would not want their idols next door? A dream come true! But at the same time it doesn't go much deeper than that. So I wouldn't expect too much out of this plot. They did add a bit of a history to make things a little more exciting and I have to admit - I did like the sweetness of it. Simple as the story is, with the episodes being so short, it was just fine and enjoyable enough.

Acting/Cast
The boys did well! I started watching this because I was curious about EXO and wanted to 'get to know them' a little better. I doubt that the characters I saw in the drama were reflections of their real selves entirely, but all the same it gave me a bit of a feel about them. I liked their acting well enough - especially Sehun! As ridiculous as his role was.

I have to admit I didn't much like D.O in here but I think that has more to do with personal taste than his acting. I've seen him act in 'I Remember You' and boy - that guy can act!

Overall - the boys did well.

The only thing I really didn't enjoy about the acting was the female lead. Too over the top and just not the acting-style I enjoy.

Music
I can't remember well what music was played but I'll assume it was EXO's work. And I love EXO's music, haha!

Rewatch value
5,5/10 because I personally won't ever want to watch this again. But I can imagine fangirls watching this over and over again. So I decided to go for mid-way. (And if I were forced to watch it again, I wouldn't hate it. I just wouldn't watch it again on my own terms.)

To the doubters:
I can see there are many reviews complimenting this drama, but also plenty who are more critical. Personally I really liked this drama, but when I read the reviews who criticize the drama, I can't disagree entirely with them. However, the issues they mention, I have not been bothered by myself/have not noticed and even looking back I often feel it's not that bad. So my advise to doubters is to give the drama a try and if you're not into it after 2 or maybe 3 episodes? Maybe it's not for you. Because of its fast pace, you'll know soon enough if it is your kind of drama or not. :)

Let me just add - I'm glad I avoided the hype and waited with watching until the hype had simmered down a bit. I think if I had allowed myself to get hyped up about this drama, I might have ended up being disappointed. But having started watching it with the idea of it being simply a 'good' drama, rather than an amazing one, I feel like I have been allowed to enjoy it all the more.

Story
The first thing I have to compliment this drama's story on is the pacing. There is not a dull moment for even a second. Things progress/happen all the time, pulling you through the episodes easily. During the first episode I forgot all about my cup of tea for a full hour. I didn't notice time passing at all because I didn't feel like it was an hour!

There are a lot of plot twists. Just when you think you have something figured out, you will learn a new bit of detail that throws it all around. I have been told this drama could be confusing at times, but personally I didn't experience any confusion at all. Maybe because I binge watched it?

I'm someone who usually gets really irritated by plot-holes or unrealistic situations/reactions. I've seen reviews about there being plot-holes and non-realism, but I personally didn't notice or experience annoyance over things.

Also; I really enjoyed to see the comparison between the real world and the comic world. How time passes by. The point of view of characters. And because I can't mention it elsewhere: I LOVE(!!) the artwork you see. It was so gorgeous, I couldn't get enough of it. Luckily, you get to see it often.

My only criticism here would be that I feel the ending had a few minor things in which I felt it was lacking. Let me start by saying I love the ending. It's an open ending and depending on your own experience of the drama, you could consider it to be a happy ending or a sad happy ending. For me, it was the latter. I remember Lee Jong Suk saying that he feels a sad ending would have been for the best. And though I agree with his vision on it, emotionally I'm glad that the writer didn't go for a sad ending entirely. That aside - I felt it was a bit lacking because I have a few question marks left about a few supporting roles. I wish I could have seen those wrapped up a little better. For spoiler's sake, I won't mention names. However - I'm glad the drama was only 16 episodes.

In conclusion - I love the pacing. I love the plot twists. I love the originality of the plot. I love the art.
But I do have a few small mentions on the side.

Acting/Cast
Like many - I'm a fan of Lee Jong Suk. And I don't think I have to get in-depth in how great his acting was. How good he brought the emotions in his eyes and all that. He was a dream to be watching. Compliments aside - I do have a bit of criticism here. I don't think it's Lee Jong Suk's fault, but rather the character he played. Though I loved him and his character to death and he had me squeal and cry regularly, I did feel like I could have been more emotionally attached. So I'm a bit disappointed I didn't feel stronger? Having read through some more critical reviews, I think maybe it's because there isn't much development within the character. Looking back, I don't feel Kang Chul has changed much between episode 1 and 16.

The same goes for Han Hyo Joo who plays Oh Yeon Joo. I didn't know her, but grew to love her instantly. I have nothing but love for her acting. But as much as I loved it, here as well - I felt there was still something lacking. And I guess it's the character development that is to blame here yet again. Very little difference between episode 1 and 16.

But don't let this scare you! The story and acting really still pulled me in a lot. And as I mentioned - I /did/ squeal and cry and laugh. It's just that when I compare it to other Drama's I rated 10/10; I feel like I didn't feel as overwhelming emotion, making me unable to rate it 10/10 as well.

Also - The chemistry between the leads is amazing. I had seen it in behind the scenes, but I definitely also saw it on screen. They were so adorable at the best of times. I like how there was a lot of romance in between the action.

The rest of the casting did very well on their characters as well. I have nothing but good things to say about them really, so I won't go in-depth about them.

Music
Perfect.
Often, I don't really notice the background music during drama's, so when a song stands out and catches my attention, it's often a sign that it's really good. I had that feeling during this drama. Often the music would catch my attention, making me want to look it up.

I shouldn't have looked it up mid-watch though. Because I found out who sang one of the songs.. I started paying more attention to the song when it played than the scene, making me lose my emotional connection. |D But this was my own fault, haha.

In short - The music was just perfect and I think it fit the drama very well.

Rewatch Value
High. Definitely. If not for the story, then for the beautiful work of art and acting.
Personally, I would wait a while until I'd have forgotten a few things, so I would be able to experience the plot twists again.

Conclusion:
After rating everything separately and thinking things through, the end-score is a 9.5/10. I think I'm content about this, because I would have loved to give it a 10, but felt like that wouldn't be true to my personal experience. There are a few minor things that just don't make it perfect. And scoring it a 9 would have felt like I would be rating it too low, especially when I compare it to other drama's I've rated 9/10.

This is my first ever review of Korean Dramas. I watch them from few years. I watched almost every genres. My favortie are mostly Criminal, Business, Supernatutal, Psychology and Fantasy. Romance in them is between the lines. So, what about W? I really wanted to express my opinion.
First of all I want to APPLAUSE the Writer. It is really hoooking to not know what will happen in next episodes and that gave big positive points for me. Most of K-dramas are really predictable starting from first 1-3 episodeds. In almost ALL Koreand Dramas the beginning is strong and the ending is not. I don't know if this is the lack of money, ideas or shooting time.

I also want to APPLAUSE the actor who played the Father of main female lead. He deserves a lot of prizes and for sure he SAVED the show from bigger downfall.

Also, W inspired me to begin drawing on my digital tablet.

Scenario/ Writing;

The story for two worlds is great. I always dreamed to draw manga or live in another world. It was great to see this FRESH idea released in K-drama that wasn't mainly focused on Romance and Cinderella stories. The writing is great because I didn't know what happen in next episodes and I was enthusiastic about this drama every week. Really, I loved all the plot twists. Gleat story and ideas, not so good developed in the end.

Story Progression:

First 10 episodes were really Great and I loved them all, after that it was downfall for me. I loved the dynamic in stories, the intense and the unpredictable stories. The clear goals and limits that characters had. The story progression had no unexplained holes until the end. It was captivating and interesting to watch time traveling and different things happened for a time.

Music:
Good music I can say.

Acting:
The acting wasn't good, really. I didn't feel the characters and it seems the actors didn't go deep in the roles.
The expresiion of Main Lead Character always is like cold manga character, it didnt show any emotions even in most intimate moments. . Proboably this was meant to be based on writers. The main lead is really handsome, but looks like a statue in some points of the show.
The main female was a bit better then the role - more emotions and expressions, but it seemed really FAKE. But the main female is beautiful lady of course.

The BEST acting was from the actor who plays the Father of Main female lead. -Kim Eui Seong. He deserves really a prize for his acting. It was splenidid and he really felt his characters. He lived really in his role. I admire him and his attitude toward the acting.

Relationships Development:
It wasn't sincere development of Romance relationships, it seemed FORCED and unreal as it should stayed I think... The best relatonship development was betweem the father and the daughter. This moved my heart and really touched me. I even cried of some scenes between the Father and Ddughter. This seemed real and was emotionally powerful.

Charracters:

Kang Chul - Standard rich boy, but the good was he had High Willt. He has strong feeliing for Justice and that made him a bit out of ordinary rich boy and playeer in Kdramas characters.
Oh Yeon Joo - in the beginning she seemed strong and out of ordinary stupidly daydreaming girls. In the end I am not sure how to call her - egoist or a person who want to pleasure all around her and to not sacrifice anything. But all in all she was way better than Standard stupidly smiling and waiting girls for their Man to call them. She at least was a great as doctor and succeed on her own.
Supporting characters are really great and I love almost them all. Especially Yoon Joo's boss

Start:

Strong Start that blowed my mind for first 10 episodes. I thought it will be like this till the end but I was wrong. I didn't know what will happen next nad I waited with big enthusiasm for the next episode.

End:

I can say I met a loosy end with this Drama - really boring and predictable end for me. Too much false tears and awaitings. Far away from first purposes of character's live and even the change wasn't sincere developed, also Fake - in relationships and in lie.

Chemistry

Well, the main leads have really great chemistry, but they didn't play it well within the characters they played - they seemed forced to do some things and didn't enjoy them.

Life lessons:

Doing the best you can and let go the things when you need to let them go. Also, there are different worlds in everyone's eyes and lives, you should respect and try to understand and see them well..

All in all it was enjoyable drama, different from standard and known KDrama scenarios I watched till now. But in the end a lot of things stood unexplained - how come Yeon Soo's mother didn't ever bothered to know more? and a lot of questions about that. In the end they were a lot of story holes that we can just imagine to understand better.

Well it's been almost a year since I had watched this, so it's not so fresh in my mind, yet I still remember enough for writing a review. Since I don't want anyone to miss the chance to watch this just because there's no review. Actually this title wasn't even here until I added it LOL.
Well shall we begin?
Throughout watching the drama it gave me a sense of darkness.
Generally speaking, it is your classical Cinderella story - only Japanese style.
A poor young girl whose parents die and she is forced to do house chores around the inn of her aunt's husband who takes her in after their death.
In the role of the evil step mother - her aunt's husband.
In the role of the evil step sisters - her cousins - the girl who hates her and the boy who tries to fondle her in every opportunity.
In the role of the fairy - her aunt.
In the role of the prince - the young son of a politician.
BUT!!! there's more to it than meets the eye.
Although you may think it sounds cliche, fact is that it is not.
There are hidden truths and dark secrets, regarding Fukada Kyoko's character and the family.
It is indeed an inn full of demons... not the horror movie type ones, but demons related to the characters and the relationships between them.
Even though it's a Fukada Kyoko drama (which I hate her acting, but miraculously enough I've watched almost every drama she's in) it is interesting to watch.
It's a story that depicts how this young girl has been forced to grow up and mature almost in an instant, having to deal with complicated themes, hardships, sexual harassment, dark secrets of her family's past etc.
It left me with mixed feelings. In the end of it, after all secrets have been exposed (no spoilers here!) it struck me like lightning. I can't say that some of them weren't predictable. The biggest I could have predict right in the middle of the drama, yet still something made me watch it till the end and overall I enjoyed it.
Fukada Kyoko's lousy acting was compensated by the aunt and uncle's astonishing performance.
In conclusion, I recommend you to watch it if you are fond of the genre and all the above.
Have fun! peace.

I am not a heavy romance person, but this is one of the few romance drama I truly enjoyed. I ended up watching it in under a week.

Story/Characters:
My favorite part was that the romance did not contain the typical relationship drama portrayed in most of those I have seen. The addition of the characters being actually intelligent and able to work out differences through talking was refreshing. The drama does start slow but it does start to pick up later. I especially like the fact that it was a MMORPG as it was a new way to start a romance. The entire IT aspect was nice as there are very few dramas actually have characters in those areas. Characters were solid as their personality actually became a important to the story.

Cast:
I don't know the cast very much except for Yang Yang but overall I believe it was a excellent performance. I have heard of a few complaints over the more intimate scenes but it felt acceptable for me in terms of how their relationship and personality affected it.

Music:
Was not the greatest soundtrack in the world, but did not detract from the story or the characters.

Overall:
I consider this a excellent drama for is freshness and a showing a that a romance does not have to have all the ups and downs like most drama relationships. I would definitely watch it again as it renews my belief that relationships where people can put their whole trust in the other can exist

This was just Daebak. The story is well written and directed and its refreshing that there's no drama.... just when u think that u got the hang of it, a variable appears and without context worlds change. It kept me on my toes wondering what will happen next. Kang chul my fav actor did great as always but he seemed monotonous throughout. Yeon joo also did a great job transitioning both worlds. The whole cast did a great job esp the assistant soo bong and his loud ass screams. Must see

Daebak! This is one of the dramas that hilariously hooks you from the start! Unfortunately the ratings werent that high since it was airing at the same time as other dramas like W, however I think that this drama was unique and funny in its own way.

STORY
The plot was unique- it's about two men who died from unjust circumstances and gets the chance to come back and relive their lives for a short period of time as somebody else, however they are not allowed to reveal themselves or take revenge for their deaths.

The Good
This drama is downright hilarious in the way that Han Gi Tak came back in a women's body (Han Hong Nan) and he/she is seriously the funniest actress ever! Man, she's one of my favourite actress now since she could portray such a realistic 'masculinity'. Rain also did a fantastic job at his character as he played as the other ahjussi reborn into this super hot guy and he's not afraid to flaunt it.

I seriously loved how the writers incorporated 4 different people and mashed them into 2, as Rain and Oh Yoon Seo (Han Hong Nan/ Han Gi Tak) seriously did a fantastic job at portraying the two ahjussi's personality! Special mention to Li Ha Nui (Yi Yeon) as she can seriously act and show emotions through the simplest gestures!

Although I loved Hae Joon and Da Hye's relationship, I actually looked more forward in learning about Han Gi Tak's background. Yeah Hae Joon is good-looking and all, but he didn't have a huge backstory to his character and Han Gi Tak was so much more interesting as a character! Plus once he went into the body of Han Hong Nan- his interactions with his boys (namely Seung Jae) was the few scenes I actually looked forward to the most.

The Music is a godsend- it was perfect with its instrumentals or funky beat songs which made the drama even better!

The Bad
I have to admit, but the story does get draggy at parts- especially when Hae Joon acts like a complete child towards his wife out of spite. I get slightly bored during the scenes where he and Dah Hye interacted (although it was cute) but it might be my biased of wanting to watch Gi Tak/Hong Nan's scenes more.

There were also unfinished plotholes and I wasn't a fan of parts of the ending. Yes, there were plotlines that tied up in the end which even surprised me at times, but it was just the end that made me want to hit my head against the wall because i was far from satisfied!

Overall? This drama is great! If you want a hilarious fun light drama, this is it! Of course, this may not interest some of you since it does get boring at times, but I do suggest giving this a try!

Now I'm going to be completely honest!

This movie was really good! I'm not gonna write a really long paragraph explaining how this was somewhat a perfect coming to age movie, because honestly I think it's worth giving it a watch, a kinda see it and judge for yourself thing.

The acting was not on point! But, it wasn't horrible or anything like that either! The story line is really cliché and simple! So don't get your hopes up for any kind of hidden message or deep meaning! I gave the movie a 10/10 because I'm a sucker for cliché movies and if you are as well, then I highly recommend!
