Is this drama boring? YES, CHEF!
PLOT🗯️🗯️
our story opens up with our poor shin su. Our girl died 3 years ago and is about to turn into an "evil spirit". In order to leave the earth peacefully she has to let go off her grudges, in her case dying as a virgin.
To reach her goal she possesses the body of na bong, a shy cook.
The plan seems to work out until they both fall for the same guy and some inconsistencies about shin su's death arise.
Premise🗯️🗯️
Definitely interesting. Following both a human and a ghost as their "lives" merge was interesting, at first. Primarily because shin su is hilarious.
I liked her character very much.
She is funny, resilient and has a heart of gold.
We grow attached to her even though we already know she is dead and we'll have to let go of her.
On the other side there is na bong.
She is a very timid girl with only her grandma on her side. She wants to follow her dreams and become a chef even though her self esteem is on the ground.
She is connected to the spirits which she sees since forever. That influenced her upbringing and the way she interacts with others.
Even though I understand where she is coming from, I couldn't care for her. She is just so bland a nervous ball.
She looks afraid of both humans and ghosts. For a screen character she is not much Interesting.
Even her love for the chef isn't that much moving. I don't even know if she likes him or just admires him. Seeing her writing about him in her diary came out of no where to me.
The male interest in the drama is this cocky chef. He is a good guy at heart but a bit irritating.
When the love story takes off I felt bad for him, na bong and shin su. That love story doesn't feel real because when he bonds with na bong, she is actually possessed by shin su. Basically he is falling for the ghost without knowing it.
Talking about him specifically I didn't feel any type of way. He's kind of annoying and to bland to move the needle.
The love story🗯️🗯️
To be honest I find the love plot the weakest point of the drama. I wished they focused more on the mystery, the underworld etc.
As said before, the love story didn't feel authentic because the chef is dating the ghost without knowing it. Na bong is boring as hell and he only starts having feeling for her when she is possessed by shin su.
The love story itself was kind of boring. At the very beginning there is this sort of hint at a love story between the chef and his old friend. It felt quite useless to me.
When the chef and na bong get together they feel like father and daughter. They interactions Never scream "unresistable love" even though they talk about liking each other sooooo much and solo deeply.
I'm currently on episode 12 pondering if ditching this drama would be the best thing.
The only thing keeping me interested is the actual mystery around the police guy.
There is also some plot inconsistency.
The spirit lady can see shin su at every corner but doesn't realize the police guy is an evil spirit nor does shin su. She meets him multiple times but never suspects anything.
At the end of episode 12 they address the fact that the chef fell for the ghost. Good for you na bong.

One of the most accurate archery dramas I've watched.
I watched this back in 2018 and I am usually super picky when archery is featured in a drama, especially when it's the main focus. You'd be surprised how many people get it wrong even when archery is the character's main personality. These guys - the writers, the crew and the actors - properly did their research. I can't believe I was watching a pretty accurate representation of target panic in a drama!
To most people, technicalities with the sport are not the main focus for them. They will look at the story and the acting. For someone who does archery, I cannot stress enough how good it is for such a short series!

Thought-provoking and cliche college romance
All the makings of a cliche Kdrama; the naive damsel-in-distress FL, cold popular ML, mean girl 2nd FL/villian, and comedic supporting friend group in a university where popularity is ranked by beauty. All the classic tropes and somehow it actually was a fun watch. The drama touches upon one of the most controversial topics of Korean culture (unrealistic beauty standards and plastic surgery) in a such a compelling manner. Mi Rae is an loveable, naive idiot but you can't help but root for her since she tries so hard to gain back her confidence and self after her surgery.
Gyeong Seok is definitely the star of the drama. Eun Woo does an amazing job with his microexpressions, his judgmental side glances towards everyone are hilarious. I love how their relationship stems from his relentless support in Mi Rae to grow her confidence. His annoyance and unwillingness to give even an inch to the villainess is satisfying to watch as well. Though, I will admit the leads' chemistry is very low and slow-paced (not even slow-burn). Their kiss scene was so awkward.
It's such a touching storyline as we see Mi Rae grow into herself and even develop sympathy for the villainess 2nd FL as they buckle under the pressure of Korean beauty ideals. While the drama has all the classic tropes to the point you can literally predict what happens next, it is a satisfying slice-of-life drama that teaches true beauty comes from within.

Clichés, Chaos, and a Surprisingly Fun Watch
This drama is honestly a mix of frustration and guilty pleasure, and somehow it still ends up being entertaining. The plot is very cliché, with over-the-top villains who feel like they walked straight out of a cartoon. But the one thing it does right is giving quick payback. The bad guys don’t drag on for episodes, they get punished fast, and that part is genuinely satisfying to watch. The male lead completely carries the show. He is charming, smart, and has that effortless, slightly snarky presence that makes even the most ridiculous scenes enjoyable. On the other hand, the female lead is written as naive to the point where it becomes inconsistent. At times she feels sweet and harmless, but most of the time she comes across as overly dependent on the male lead. Her problems never seem to end, and every single situation turns into another rescue moment for him. After a while, it starts to feel repetitive and a bit frustrating.
And yet, despite all of this, the drama has a weird charm. It is so exaggerated and over-the-top that it almost becomes entertaining in its own chaotic way. The acting, styling, and overall execution can feel questionable at times, but that silliness is also what makes it fun if you don’t take it too seriously.
In the end, this feels like a vertical drama stretched into a full-length format. It is messy, unrealistic, and full of clichés, but if you go in with low expectations and just want something light and dramatic, it can still be an enjoyable watch.

LYT the series of the year but yet still underrated
When the first pilot dropped? I wasn’t a big fan but still decided to give it a try and that’s one thing I am forever grateful for, LYT spoke to me in ways that I never knew, it opened up wounds in my heart and made me realize I havent healed properly. The acting was phenomenal, everything is perfect, Santa and Perth did a lovely job portraying the characters and I urge everyone to give this a chance, it may not be your typical bl series, but don’t drop it, this story has so many life lessons to offer and it’s sucks that’s it’s underratedWas this review helpful to you?

Funny idol drama
Yes I rated this drama a 6, come fight me /joking but seriously this drama did not live up to my expectations and it's been a while since I watched this, but I can't believe I didnt write a review at the time!!! Anyways, that tells me that 1) I didn't care enough about the drama (not a good sign in general) 2) I must've been busy?Anyways, I dont remember much about this drama because in the end it just wasn't that memorable (just like MARS' music lol)
So the things I liked and why you should watch it:
I love lovedddd the cast. This is William and LYNKN first drama and they were honestly doing a pretty good job! A huge shoutout to my man Jun aka Nut. He was so excellent it's ridiculous that he had such a small role in "My magic prophecy" (GO WATCH THAT ONE :) JIMMYSEA MY BELOVED <3 ).
I would absolutely watch more stuff with Nut in it, he seriously has some great potential :)
Of course WilliamEst also had some great chemistry :)
The mainstory: not very memorable, sometimes pacing was off and just not representative for how Thai entertainment industry works (don't shoot me if I'm wrong tho lol) ? A lot of it felt more like a Kpop company that got lost in Thailand and then lost in TV adaptation. And the ending was so unsatisfactory, it was a real anticlimax for me. There was some thought put into some of the romance and some of the friendships, and some of the obstacles and so on, but it just didn't reach its full potential.
Music: it was so-so, it really wasn't that memorable as well for a series that's focussed on a boyband so that's kind of a letdown.
All in all, the series in hindsight is just a little too boring and doesn't bring something refreshing to the Idol drama scene except for debuting some amazing hidden acting gems like Nut :)

Love Lost in Miscommunication
Rainkissed Fate is one of those dramas that you end up watching mainly for the leads rather than the story itself. On paper, it has all the ingredients for an engaging romance a contract marriage setup, complicated past relationships, and emotionally intense characters but the execution leans heavily into misunderstandings that could have been avoided with a single honest conversation. The story revolves around a contract marriage tangled with an obsessive ex who refuses to accept rejection and a second female lead who operates in a very similar way. Instead of adding depth, these elements often feel repetitive and frustrating. The constant miscommunication becomes the main source of conflict, and while it creates drama, it also makes the plot feel messy and unnecessarily dragged at times.
That said, the strongest part of the drama is definitely the chemistry between the leads. They carry the show with their presence alone. Their interactions, emotional moments, and even the quieter scenes feel natural and engaging. You can clearly see the potential for a much stronger romance if the writing had allowed them to communicate more openly instead of relying on misunderstandings.
The romance itself has its moments. When the drama slows down and lets the couple simply exist together, it becomes genuinely enjoyable. Those glimpses of partnership, care, and emotional connection are what keep you watching. Unfortunately, these moments are often interrupted by external conflicts and poor communication choices.
Overall, this is not a drama you watch for a tight or well-structured plot. It is more of a guilty pleasure watch. If you enjoy contract marriage tropes, possessive secondary seccharacters, and high-drama situations, you might still find it entertaining. But if you prefer strong writing and logical character decisions, this one might test your patience.

Silly/Empty? Gay Campus Romance Series
PLOT: Bohn, a popular (and feared) senior in Engineering, takes advantage of Duen (a kind, polite, and inept first-year medical student) during an incident, just for fun. He asks Duen to bring him a flower every morning. As they meet, Bohn falls in love with Duen and does everything he can to win him over.Rom 2: King (Engineering) and Ram (Duen's friend, very introverted, crazy about plants) => By far the cutest romance!!
Rom 3: Boss (in complete denial, wants to be straight, tries to flirt with every girl) and Mek (his inseparable friend, secretly in love with Boss)
+++ Some strong and attractive characters (on-screen) : Cooper, Talay, and Perth, mainly. I can't wait to see them in other series.
### The narration is slow at times, and the OSTs are too intrusive. The story is empty, poorly-written.
### Duen's attitude (I want to? I don't want to? I don't know anymore...) is annoying, even frustrating. I understand he has insecurities, but this is too much!
### The story arc of approval and testing by friends is even more absurd and stupid. Щ(ಠ益ಠЩ) Щ(ಠ益ಠЩ)
### The female characters (Ting Ting, King's sister, the "BL groupies") are quite ridiculous. Why are there so few well-developed female characters in BL?
=> Will the (obvious) flaws of this series disappear in season 2?

Silly / empty? series about campus gay romances

a must watch..!
This drama is on another level. From start to end it keeps you hooked in this slow intense way.At first you might feel like it’s just one case being stretched… like but nah the way they build it .. itactually becomes MORE gripping.
It has this insane emotional weight ..like the core of the drama
That ending scene especially… when everything comes together… really hit hard
The way relationships shift the trust betrayal pain ..it all explodes in such a quiet but powerful way
And that moment where one of the main lead whos always so reserved and distant… finally breaks his own boundaries.. that was something else ..literally next lev..
The chemistry between the leads is also top tier. Not loud and flashy .. just deep and tense
Its not about multiple cases or action… its about one story one truth and how deeply it affected everyone involved.

TIMELINE CHAOS..
The connections in this story are insane. Everything feels tied together in this weird but smart way that slowly unfolds .At first it feels like a normal thriller but then the whole timetravel phone connection thing starts messing with your head in a good way.
The character development is actually strong especially how both leads lives start affecting each other across timelines.. that was really well done.
The way the timeline keeps changing between hope n loss is crazy. One moment you feel like everything is finally okay… and then bang reality twist again.
I was NOT ready for that emotional shift.. especially the reunion moments and then what follows after… it hits way harder than expected... dark turns.. kinda mentally exhausting too.. but yeah worth watching

beautifull tragic masterpiece
i swear i didnt see that comin... first time something like this actually hit me this hardAt first it felt like a normal suspense thriller… but slowly it turns into something way deeper n by the end its not just about mystery anymore.. morelike emotional destruction
What makes it hit harder is how you start understanding both sides.. it doesnt felt like simple hero vs villain but like two people who are connected in a very messed up.. painful way.
The ending scenes in the hospital… esp involving both leads… that literally moved me
The way things are revealed gradually makes you rethink the whole story again in your head... like youre trying to process what just happened even after it ends
Acting is totally insane... both leads carried the intensity perfectly till the very end.. TBH i have never seen a movie like this before.. its disturbing, emotional n brilliantly twisted
Definitely one of those films that stays in mind after watching
