Ok, to start off, I am a major fan of drama's like this. I could go on for days about how much I like them, but I won't. Try to make this short.

I recommend this drama highly if you are a fan of the genre. If your not, don't waste your time. This drama is a lot like the Japanese drama MR BRAIN, but its also very different in that it read more involves more police work. As I said, CSI met House, and had a baby, and this is it.

The story is a good one, or as I put, a very good one, some things were just to predictable, so it didn't get a higher score.

The actors, did an extraordinary job, they were very believable.

Music, I never even noticed if there was music, so very low score on that.

Rewatch, I probably won't rewatch, but may someday.

Overall, a very good drama, and an interesting thought process while watching it. Watch it!

This, deserve a 10/10 from me. I am a fan of medical forensic drama. And, I love OCN's dramas. So, this drama is basically a combination of both my favorites. I've watched a few dramas with this genre, either from Asian, or US. Vampire Prosecutor, Virus, Body of Proof, CSI:NY, Brain, Surgeon Bong Dal Hee. But this one is, simply amazing. This drama maybe has the highest score among all the drama read more I've reviewed.

Story: the story basically had no defined plot at early episodes. It just contains separated cases each episodes. But later a plot was built and unexpectedly made a twist (which was a pleasant surprise). The case about rare disease is REALLY interesting. The cases are not using a really "smart" or "tricky" strategy, but rather, it's interesting because the case was actually solved by solving the victim's or perpetrator's disease. And of course, I could take notes learning about rare disease (which, I really interested into). And to add the plus point, it contains a bit romance (and a sweet one :))

Acting/Cast: I must admit, dr. Han is really charming, in his own way. He's smart, but quirky at the same time (and different from other main characters from other medical drama I've watched). Ryu Deok Hwan is absolutely worth praising. The interaction between the team is also hilarious and warm, which I really enjoy. All the cast did a fantastic job building the character, so, 10/10.

Music: actually, there's not much music. I do believe, OST bombardment is not for medical drama, because atmosphere is not really the main point. But to be honest, this drama had better OST than other medical drama I've watched.

Rewatch Value: I'm not the type who would rewatch the dramas I've watched. But if I put myself on other's shoes, I definitely would want to rewatch this, someday in the future.

Overall: Even though it lacks in music, but it doesn't matter for me. This drama still scored 10/10. The acting is terrific, nothing to complaint. It blown me away after I watched the first episodes and got me addicted (to the extent that I neglected all my currently watching dramas beside this one). This drama successfully rises to the top 5 of my all-time favorite dramas, and I am now excited to watch the second season. Apparently this drama had similar format with other dramas, but with its uniqueness, I would highly recommend this drama for those whose fond of medical dramas (and those who doesn't mind bloody and autopsy scenes).

both drama's are about solving crime, although god's quiz is more focused on forensics and rare illnesses. A common theme between the two shows is the balance between the protagonist and the final antagonist.

Both deal with murder mysteries and a main character who is dealing with an internal problem. Both MC's are also extremely intelligent.

God's Quiz deals with the autopsy/science side of the mysteries while Missing Noir M is the law/detective side, but both dramas are really detective dramas.

Love both!

Really enjoyed this season of this show. I had heard so much about it so went in with fairly high expectations, but also with the knowledge that medical Kdramas are consistently poor on the science, pay little attention to details, and put in humor and romance where it's either unnecessary or inappropriate. Yet, this drama seemed to pretty well maintain a good balance in all this. It obviously suffered from a low budget, as the sets were pretty bad and tho the stories were great, some of the acting and direction seemed to suffer from inexperience or inability. Yet as the show went on and the cast seemed to gel with one another, the acting got better, even if the directing didn't improve much. Season 2 is a marked improvement.

The synopsis makes it seem as if this is a romance drama, but the genres don't include romance. So how much romance is in this drama exactly?

It's hard to believe this is not considered to have comedy elements with all the shit Han Ji Woo did during the drama(s) xD

About an average quality drama! But I really enjoyed it regardless of quality.

Han Jin Woo;s unique character is really what brings life to the drama, as well as the interesting cases on rare medical conditions. Typical episodic structure and lack of a strong over-arcing plot are its weaknesses, but it's OCN's style so what're you gonna do? :P

Not as great as I thought it would be. Some of the characters weren't believable. Some effects left me exasperated (visual and sound hit and miss). But I like the concept and writing. It's just hard to watch since I can't take them seriously.*stress
I'm not planning to drop this yet. I still am interested with the cases and storyline.

i watched this because of the high rating (8.4) and a little disappointed. (just me)

    strong points are

    1. medical cases were rare and interesting
    2. autopsy procedure were realistic - those entrails looks so real (might be pigs)
    3. has a good plot

    Weak points

    1. medical team way too good looking and wears make up in the lab. Why do you need to wear make up when opening a dead body?
    2. musical score and soundtrack failed to set the mood/pace of some of the scenes
    3. no chemistry between the 2 leads. im happy that they didnt focus much on the romance since its just not working. i just dont see the 2 leads being intimate to each other.

Being averse to medical dramas I was hesitating to watch it. But thankfully, it was more focused on the investigations and analysis of the human body without the hospital scenario and surgery parts which I dislike very much.

Han Jin Woo's so adorable and smart. The way he deduces everything was very interesting. The ending was the best I've seen in a detective/investigation drama. Usually they just hint at the romance and leave it unanswered. I'll surely watch the next season! More cases to solve and more things to learn about.

Does the first season show complete ending that it's okay if you don't watch the second season? Or is it like Liar Game with hanging ending?

The last episode of the first season won't really be a hanging ending. By that I mean the ending actually feels like an ending. But it does rush through some of the details (which are explained in detail in the later seasons) so if God's Quiz was only 1 season, it would feel like a series that was cut down by a few episodes.

How about the 2nd season? is it a hanging ending? Do I have to watch the 3rd season, too? I am asking because I don't want to waste my time downloading a drama I might not like. Thanks for advising.

Season 2 didn't have a hanging ending either. It was an ending in the sense that people could assume what happened. But in my opinion if you get as far into the series as season 2, I would definitely watch season 3 since Ahn Nae Sang is in it and he is friggin amazing.

Do I have to watch season 1-3 in order to understand season 4? Or can I just watch it in the order that I want?

They're all connected, so you should watch them in the right order.
