After the statute of limitation expires on the murders he has committed, Lee Doo Suk publishes an autobiography, "I'm A Killer", describing all his murders in great detail. Detective Choi, who investigated Lee's murders 15 years ago, starts the chase once again and Han Ji-soo, who lost her daughter to Lee, pledges vengeance. Meanwhile, another killer appears, casting doubt to whether Lee is the real serial killer.

The best part about the movie is that you won't end the movie with the same conception that you began with. it's full of so many twists and turns that you're unlikely to predict the story. Brilliant acting and great suspense.
A murderer who escapes a brutal crime of 10 murders is free and famous. he writes a book admitting his crimes but there's someone else too who knows how the murders read more happened. So you keep clinging to your pillow till the end.
Park Shi Hoo.. there's something about his smile..it seemed so cocky and wicked.. loved him!!
Do watch!

Some many twists and turns. Don't blink and don't turn your head. Jung Jae Young as the tortured Lt Choi and Park Shi Hoo as Doo Suk were excellent. The supporting cast also did a great job in reeling you into the story. The action sequences like the car chase, the alley chase as well as the ending scenes were well done and choreographed. Like I said, don't turn your head or read more fast forward because you will miss some serious details. Park Shi Hoo should do more action. His scene in the elevator was great to watch. Here's hoping for a comeback in the movies. Still can't wrap around my head people saying this was boring! Never a dull moment to me. But be warned, this is NOT a romance!!

Both movies focus one a criminal who reaches out via a live broadcast. Both movies have a live debate with the culprit. However Terror Live is more intense.

Both deal with trying to solve a crime around the time the statue of limitations expiring.

the plot is really good, but they didnt do the movie right, it should be more serious.
    badly done action scenes.
its similar to Confessions(jap): everybody says wow this movie is magnificent, but actually when you watch it youre like "wtf, this is shit"...ok so i wrote this comment about halfway through the movie, i finished it now and its foolish, nothing really spectacular, theres no fucking big twist like you all saying, and im not satisfied, the only good thing in this whole picture is the pretty guy's face. OVERRATED. gosh.

I would have rated it 8 or 9
If they didn't portrait all women in the show as horny teenagers idolizing serial killers.

Wow, that twist! I was impressed! ;) Overall this was a good chase of bad guy vs. good guy - I wasn't enthralled by it immediately, but about a quarter-half-way in I started getting "excited" for what lied ahead. but the last 30 or so minutes was the BEST and definitely made me up my score that I had in my head ;) Jung Jae Young and Park Shi Hoo were AWESOME!!! I'm glad I watched this :) The one thing I didn't like was all those insane "fans" how can you be a fan of something like that???? And that ending - made me feel like this might have been based on a true story - but it isn't right? lol Anyways, giving this a 9 :)

Its inspired in a real case. Confession of Murder is one of the four drama/movies about Hwaseong serial murders (The Zodiac Serial Killer of Korea).

      - Memories of Murder (Movie) and the dramas Gap-Dong and Signal was too inspired in this case.

Oh yeah, I noticed. How sad that the real criminal may still be out there living with people.

It was a cool thriller. It kept me entertained but I kind of saw that turn coming and some scenes were completely uncalled for. It's definitely not the best out there. South Korean produced way better thrillers than this.
Jung Jae Young ahjussi though is definitely on my favourite charts.
