Hong Kyung and Roh Yoon Seo will be the main lead of the upcoming Korean remake of the Taiwanese movie Hear Me.

On May 16, media outlet Sports Chosun revealed that Hong Kyung and Roh Yoon Seo have been picked to lead the upcoming movie Hear Me

Hong Kyung's agency Management mmm responded to the reports and revealed, "Hong Kyung did receive the offer to star in the Korean version of Hear Me. He is positively reviewing it." 

Roh Yoon Seo's agency MAA Korea also shared their side regarding the reports. According to them, the actress is also positively reviewing the casting offer. 

Hear Me will tell the story of a man who fell in love at first sight a hearing-impaired woman. The main characters of the Taiwanese version became famous in Korea and the remake version will surely gain attention.

According to reports, the upcoming Korean remake will be directed by A Day director, Cho Sun Ho

Hear Me will reportedly begin filming this coming August. 

If Hong Kyung confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming movie. The actor will also star in the upcoming K-drama Comment Army with Son Seok Koo, Kim Sung Cheol, and Kim Dong Hwi

Aside from films, Hong Kyung will also join the upcoming K-dramas Revenant, Concrete Market, and Weak Hero Class 2

Meanwhile, this will possibly be the second movie of Roh Yeon Seo since its debut. She made her movie debut last year with the film 20th Century Girl. She worked alongside Kim Yoo Jung, Byeon Woo Seok, Park Jung Woo, Kim Sung Kyung, and Jung Suk Yong

This year, Roh Yoon Seo will starred in the K-drama Crash Course in Romance wherein she won the Rookie Awards at the 59th Baeksang Awards. She also recently participated in the Netflix original K-drama Black Knight led by Kim Woo Bin, Song Seung Heon, Kang Yoo Seok, Esom, Kim Eui Sung, and Lee Sung Wook.
