Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Kang Seo Joon will be added to the cast of the upcoming drama "Love Is for Suckers."
On September 29th, Kang Seo Joon's agency announced that the actor would be part of the upcoming ENA drama "Love Is for Suckers" that will air next week.
The upcoming ENA Wednesday and Thursday drama "Love Is for Suckers" will revolve around 20-year-old best friends who will unexpectedly work together as a producer and performer of a love reality show.
The series will be the latest work of director Choi Kyu Shik ("Drinking Solo" and "Let's Eat 3") and writer Kim Sol Ji ("Pegasus Market" and "Joseon Survival"). It will be produced by KT Studio Genie and StoryTV.
Kang Seo Joon will be joining main leads Lee Da Hee, Super Junior's Choi Si Won, Jo Soo Hyang, Park Yeon Woo, Im Ha Ryong, and Yang Hee Kyung.
He will portray the role of General Hwang, a fitness trainer full of charm and passion. He will join the love reality show and he aims to be the winner of the program.
"Love Is for Suckers" will premiere on October 5th. The series will have a total of 16 episodes. It will air on the ENA channel and it will also be available on the global OTT platform, Viki.
This will be the first official drama of Kang Seo Joon after three years. He last starred in the 2019 series "Special Labor Inspector Jo" with Kim Dong Wook, Park Se Young, Kim Kyung Nam, Ryu Deok Hwan, Seol In Ah, and Oh Dae Hwan.
He made a special appearance in the 2020 drama "Mom Has an Affair" and the 2021 drama "The Devil Judge."
Kang Seo Joon made his acting debut in 2006. Since then, he has starred in several dramas such as "Happy Sisters," "The Unusual Family," "I Have a Lover," "My Mother is a Daughter-In-Law," "My Love, Madame Butterfly," "Warrior Baek Dong Soo," and more.
