A very disappointing drama. Indeed, I was expecting a lot since I saw all good reviews about this drama and since I was looking forward to watching another "locked room" series, but even if I watched this drama with zero expectations, I still wouldn't have liked it.

The female lead is supposed to be clever but I don't feel it at all. She just uses her uncle's position to get whatever she wants and gets away with it. Plus it's absurd how she and Saikawa-sensei winds up in every crime scene.
Plus what's with that weird trance Saikawa-sensei goes into before he figures out each case? Lol, it looked kind of silly..

I don't like the individual cases either. Well the 1st case was pretty good but then it starts getting progressively worse from there onwards. The 3rd case and the last case, both involving Dr Magata Shiki were the most ridiculous ones. I don't get why the two leads are so obsessed with her.
There were a few ideas in the other cases that were kind of good but overall it was a hot mess.

This drama is just over-hyped, in my opinion.

This drama was unexpectedly very good. After reading the plot, I wasn't expecting much from the drama, cause the idea of a woman falling for a robot seemed a bit silly to me.
However it turned out to be so heartwarming and funny (without having over-the-top comedy).

I didn't expect to really like Night since he's not even human. But anyway, I really liked him and I couldn't help but feel sorry for him at times.
I was a bit frustrated with Riiko's character. She didn't appreciate Night at first and later she didn't seem to appreciate Soshi as much as she should have. Gaah!

Hayami Mokomichi did an excellent job in playing the role of a robot. He had to have something artificial in his behaviour but at the same time he had to act human enough so that nobody would suspect that he was a robot. Hayami Mokomichi did that perfectly. :)
The rest of the cast was really good as well. :)

The theme song "Okaeri by Ayaka" was a good choice for this drama.♡♡

Re-watched this drama special...and I'm wondering what possessed me to give this an 8.5 when I first watched it..o.o
It's wasn't at all boring to watch (okay, maybe the 1st episode was a little boring) but the story is absolutely shitty. The acting wasn't bad but what's the point in that if the story is an absolutely meaningless piece-of-crap? -.- All the relationship advice is rubbish, plus whatever that Philip guy was muttering in his stupid lecture was also crap.
Also the counsellor guy giving the female lead relationship advice is an absolute joke! His girlfriend treats him like crap and he can't even understand what she wants, but he goes around giving advice to another woman. Stupid!
And all that cheating.. uggh so annoying!

The story is pretty simple but I really like it. :)

I couldn't guess a few things that happened in the last episode but I think if you pay enough attention, it's very predictable.
Anyway, predictable or not, I think the idea of the story was interesting and also really touching. ?

The drama is really short so you can finish watching it in a day. (:

Cast/Acting - The cast was good and they played their roles well. There aren't many characters in this drama so you'd notice if the actors/actresses act well enough and I was pleased with their performance.

Man this is good!! Really good! :o And the acting is brilliant! And so bloody dark and disturbing...love it lol

It wasn't at all what I expected!! It started kind of slow so I thought it would be boring but I was so wrong.

Plot twist after plot twist..and in my opinion, I think it's not a kind of story you can predict. :)

The actresses brilliantly played out their roles! I'm glad that I watched this movie...even though it's disturbing lol

I'm not sure if it's the kind of movie everyone will like but people who like dark movies will probably like it. :)

((Unpopular Opinion))

I was really looking forward to watching this movie for a long time now and I ended up getting pretty disappointed after watching it.

The true story alone is amazing and inspiring but the director poorly executed it, in my opinion.

The first 40 mins or so were the worst. I didn't feel any chemistry between the leads and whatever few emotions they showed looked forced. After that, it got a little better, but it still wasn't good enough.

I was actually nervous about how Tao was going to act, but she turned out to be the one who acted the best. From the time she started falling ill onwards, she acted pretty well.
In my opinion, Sato Takeru was the worst (yeah yeah shocking lol) cause he looked mostly emotionless and lifeless throughout the movie and he had this weird fake looking smile on his face that was so out of place, especially during the first half of the movie. There were times he expressed his emotions properly but most of the time he wasn't good.

Plus, I didn't like the background music. It was as dull as Takeru's acting.

And I can't help but compare this movie to "The Vow", which is also a true story, with a slightly similar plot. In that movie, unlike this movie, the chemistry was to die for and Channing Tatum played his role very well.

I knew that this drama was going to be cheesy but I didn't expect it to be ultra ridiculous.
If you're looking for a good cast with good acting, a sensible story, a good soundtrack, this is not the drama for you.

This rubbish was pretty annoying and trashy. And how stupid can the female lead possible be?! *facepalm* It's like she falls in love every 5 secs!!
And the whole brother-sister thing was just...*shudders* I know, this whole drama is silly so I probably don't have to be that bothered by the almost incestuous nature of their relationship....but still it just made me feel uncomfortable.

This drama is just to show a bunch of "cute" guys. In my opinion, only the older brother looked cute though..o.o

However I really liked the OST "Sora" by Generations from Exile Tribe.

An utter disappointment is what this drama is. It's suspenseful till about the 6th episode and then it starts going downhill. And after all, the plot twists that were shown before turned out to be pointless at the end. And a lot of points in the story either don't make sense or are just ridiculous (it's difficult to mention exactly what cause they would be spoilers).
Anyway this drama starts like it's going to be a psychological suspense drama but then ends up being a human drama.

The cast and their acting is really good but I'd rather see a terrible cast acting in a garbage story like this.
I loved the ending theme song...it really suits a suspense drama well. But anyway it's pointless enjoying the ending theme and the acting cause the story is rubbish..

Needless to say, I won't re-watch this drama again.

Did like this season but season 1 was better.

In my opinion, season 1 is a whole lot better than season 2. Mostly because the games in season 1 were more exciting and I wasn't too fond of the last 2 episodes of season 2.
With that being said, that doesn't mean that I disliked season 2. I just liked season 1 (for which I gave a 9.5 out of 10) better.

Things I loved about season 2:

- All the games Chishiya was involved in
- The King of Clubs game (the very first game showed)
- Kyuma's wardrobe...;)
- The backstories and flashbacks
- How even the minor characters were brought back
- The explanation for the mystery of the Borderland in the last episode

Things that frustrated me:

- Niragi never dying. Gosh that pest was the worst!
- Would have liked to see more games like in season 1
- 7th episode was so frustrating! Was almost impossible to kill the King of Spades, even after him being shot properly multiple times. And almost everyone else (other than Arisu) being seriously injured (and some even looking as good as dead) but not dying. Although the whole episode was action packed and not boring, the whole thing was extremely unreal.
- The last episode just felt too draggy and the Queen of Hearts game mostly gave me a headache lol

The ending explanation was satisfying but with the revelation of the Joker card at the end, feels like there might be a season 3. If they do make a season 3, I'd definitely watch it!

It's an okay drama. :) Although it was entertaining (because of the comedy and Sakura was just fun to watch lol) from the start, the first few episodes were a bit too cheesy for my liking lol. And I wasn't really fond of the stories of the side characters. Some of the characters were just too vulgar, especially at the beginning.
However, the drama did get better after the first few episodes. :)
Also I get why Hiroto likes Sakura cause she's a pretty nice person, but their romance doesn't make much sense. Plus I didn't see much chemistry between them. I think Sakura and Tachibana had more chemistry and much more in common...but well whatever. :P It wasn't a perfect drama with a very sensible story to begin with so I don't care much lol

Love this drama!! I thought it's just gonna be a senseless, funny drama but it was much more deeper! ^-^ Japanese comedy dramas are the best!! They managed to have a nice story along with the comedy.

Nagase Tomoya's acting was brilliant!..and his facial expressions were absolutely hilarious!! xD The other actors were really good as well! They were so much more better than I expected them to be. :))

And I loved the soundtrack, especially the ending theme song.

I'm craving pudding so bad..T-T

Haha I love this drama!! :D :D It was hilarious, heart warming and inspiring.

I gave it a 9/10 cause the ending wasn't very strong (it wasn't bad at all..just a wee bit not-so-strong) and I didn't like the first 2 eps much...actually I almost dropped the drama thinking I won't like it. Luckily I didn't!!

But other than that I absolutely love the drama and the cast!! ^-^ Sorimachi Takashi was brilliant as Onizuka! *-*
And the chemistry between Takashi and the female lead (who also happens to be his real life wife!!) was perfect...:D
Loved it! *-*

I love a good revenge story and this was definitely a brilliant one!
But it's definitely not a movie for the weak hearted cause it has too much of sexual violence and gore. I had to skip a few mature scenes myself..it was too disgusting to watch. *pukes* Those scenes very graphic and gruesome but necessary for the story, that's why I think the story deserves a 10/10.

Acting - 10/10. I think it takes a lot of skill to play the roles of the main characters. Choi Min Shik and Lee Byung Hun played their roles perfectly!

Music - I just gave it an 8/10 but actually I didn't really pay attention to the music lol. But so assume it's good cause if it was terrible it would have distracted me.

I like this movie much more than Old Boy.. but like Old Boy, I don't think I can re-watch this again. It's just too disturbing..

The movie starts with a scene that comes towards the end...but I totally forgot about it and half expected some tragic ending but (mini spoiler alert!!) nothing tragic happens. :) But it does have a bittersweet ending that leaves you kinda heartbroken..T^T
Love the story! It was realistic (makes sense cause it's a true story) and I think it's a story anyone can relate to. Especially guys.
Some scenes are kinda gross and disturbing though really funny lol...and lol the male lead is naked at least 25% of the time xD

The cast was great and so was their acting. They all played their roles well. :) I love the chemistry between the characters!

Also the music suited the movie well.

I'm still upset about the ending...but still it's a realistic ending. Read More

I really like the story...it was very realistic with real life issues. The female lead's decisions may have looked selfish but I think some people would do the same in a situation like that.
I was kind of disappointed with the ending though...I didn't mind the tragic ending, it's just that it was so abrupt and kinda confusing.

The acting could have been better. The main leads were lifeless at times. Especially the female lead. I think they could have done a much better job. Still it wasn't too bad. :)

I hated the music though. The at-times-lifeless acting made the drama special a bit boring but the music made it much worse. >.< The music is one reason why my rating dropped below 8.
