This drama was very different to what I normally watch, surprisingly the comedy-horror worked quite well. The story was interesting and I loved the acting, (my new crush SJS!) but I feel like it missed the mark a little bit. There were a few underused plots (Madame Go and Ha Jee Choo) which would have drawn me more emotionally into the drama if they were utilised properly. Don't get me wrong I loved this drama, but it didn't have me crying along with the characters or overflowing with love either.

Overal I found this drama refreshing but also lacking that depth of emotion. (Especially those frozen kiss scenes, way to torture a girl!)

I did like this drama and the story, but there were some things that just let it down for me.
I always seem to like the Hong sisters dramas, I think mostly because they make really good characters.

This story was funny and Joo Yoo Rin was a great character that brought the most out of the story. Everyone else however was a bit lacking character wise. I also found the story would progress so slowly, I ended up skipping parts. There was also not too much romance, it sort of felt like it just suddenly happened.

My biggest gripe about this drama is the music. Holy mother of God, it was horrendous, it really made it unwatchable as one horrible song was constantly replayed over and over and over and over again. To make it worse it wasn't even real music, just an annoying lady warbling over and over and over again.

To be fair I think the music really impacted on my viewing experience for this drama and I can't objectively rate it without considering the horrible music. It was a good story, good characters, but slow and ear achingly annoying.

For some reason I couldn't get into this drama. I watched 7 episodes but I'm not really hooked or emotionally involved in the story. It has a nice premise with the pinocchio syndrome but I didn't find it funny or romantic or thrilling yet!

I really wanted to watch this one through but it's such a big investment of my time for it to be boring even 7 hours in -.-

Maybe I'll finish it later

So this drama started out as just a bit of fun and it helps that I love Jung Il Woo.

Storywise, it was ok if not a bit predictable. I never took this drama very seriously but it's a nice bubblgum type show. I really like the melo parts and Eun Ha Won's predicatments but some parts seemed to drag on a little bit and I found myself skipping some scenes.

The acting was amazing except I found Park So Dam's acting was a bit stiff compared to the others and her character was extremely childish. And I loved Choi Min Sung!

For me, this drama was average but what made this drama deserve a 8.5/10 in my book was the ending. It was perfect, not rushed, and there were no loose ends. And it added more depth to the story overall.

I'd recommend this to someone who just wanted to watch a fun drama with not too many expectations, just you have to stick it out when it gets slow to really appreciate the ending.

The story was a bit lacking, it was full of great ideas e.g. facilitators, but the story didn't really manage to pull everything off successfully and felt very rushed. For a first in its sort of genre, being a collaboration between viki and kdrama, it was better than I expected. It definitely is cheesy but had me laughing at all the tropes.

I do think the story could be redeemed by having a season 2, they definitely left room for the possibility. Then I believe their characters could be fleshed out a bit more and have more backstory. I felt you never really got to get close to the characters except for Claire.

This was definitely very funny to see the identifiable tropes in Kdrama and laugh at them, other than that it was a bit mediocre.

Wow, this is the definition, to me, of a great drama. I have noticed TvN do amazing dramas.

Lately I have been watching a lot of korean dramas that just are so shallow and lacking that I haven't deemed them worthy to review, this definitely pulled me out of that stupor of 'korean dramas have turned to sh!t.' :P It's also been a long time for me since I binge-watched a drama and I just couldn't stop watching this one.

The story kept me guessing and was both so heart-wrenching and warm. Towards the end I cried a few times, but I find those dramas that make me cry get me so emotionally involved. The acting was great, obviously with Chun Jung-Myung and Choi Kang-hee was very convincing also. I hadn't really seen much of her acting apart from in Protect the Boss, so it was nice to see her in such a serious (?) role.

Honestly you should watch this right now!

Originally I was really reluctant to watch a historical drama, but this one had me hooked from the start.

The actors are great, I love Park Yoo Chun, whom I had previously seen in Rooftop Prince and even Park Min Young was really good. They had great chemistry and played their roles really well.

It's strange that it's another gender bender drama but it doesn't feel like one. I was excited to see each episode and marathoned the first half of this show. I fell in love with Lee Sun Joon but at times he frustrated the heck out of me, seriously how could they all mistake her for a man? I found the lead female was also really interesting because she was a very strong character. I liked that even the story had a lot of interesting plot twists but towards the end I got tired of the political intrigue.

The only thing I didn't like, and it was a big one, that the end felt very rushed and the romance was weak. It had a great build up with great chemistry and when it finished I felt a bit let down.

Overall though this is a really great drama that I'd definitely recommend watching.

This was an epic historical drama, the story was amazing and the actors were amazing yet I feel a bit let down.

The story was very long winded and very emotional, I found myself crying quite a bit in this drama, omg the feels. However the end, even though happy it was also tragic and I felt that all that suspense, all that drama led to nothing. If the writers wanted an ending like that they could have made it that happy ending a long time ago except without all the angst and blood.

I loved the main couple even as ill fated as they were, but they changed so much character wise, with all the pain they had to deal with throughout the story. I couldn't really reconcile them with the happy carefree couple they were before.

The OST was amazing, I'll definitely listen to it again.

This is a great drama with great actors and a great story, however, it is full of pain and angst and a part of the plot feels like it just gets dropped at the very end. This is a classic must watch for any kdrama fan.

I wanted to really like this drama, with such great leads I wondered how it could go wrong.

Plot, the plot is where this drama went wrong.

It was a nice and light romance and I really like watching Hoon Nam (Namgoong Min) fall desperately in love with Jang Eum (Hwang Jung Eum). But that was about it unfortunately. I only watched it to the end because of these great leads, I just wish the plot had had more oomph. It seemed to jump all over the place and pick up different plot lines and discard others with no ending (like with Jang Eum's friend Choi Joon-Soo).The ending of the series felt really abrupt and cut short as well.

I probably will not watch this drama again, I'm just still disappointed in the lacklustre plot, just a few tweaks and it could have been amazing. However, if you do like Namgoong Min, I definitely recommend watching this drama just don't expect too much plot wise.

I really could not finish this, I got halfway through and realised I was just wasting my time I could spend on a good show. So keep in mind what I write about this is only for the first half.

I really wanted to like this, I did. I wanted a nice rom com with Joo Sang Wook, because he was amazing in Cunning single lady. I wanted a light but really funny drama but this was not it and I couldn't stick this one out.

First of all the start is so rushed and nothing is kept secret. I think if they had gone into detail and stretched the first 5 or so episodes out the drama would have been fine. But no, this plot is a bonafide crazy mess! I had no idea what was coming and there was no logic to anything! Definitely makjang.

The worst thing for me though was how I felt they were cruel to Hae Jae Sook. I found a lot of her scenes unnecessary and cruel. I felt bad that this actress (who was awesome in Protect the Boss) had to do whole scenes about how ugly and fat she is that Tae Hee ( Wook) is disgusted by her and blah blah. It's sort of like, I see where this drama wanted to go to address inner and outer beauty...but it made a huge mess of it. I found in these moments that it opened up the fourth wall for me, feeling bad for the actress and being drawn out of the story.

This is a makjang crazy mess. The only good things about is is Joo Sang Wook and the very very rare funny scenes...

Maybe I'll finish the rest of this drama, or maybe not.

I absolutely adored this time travel drama. It was sweet and funny and led me on a roller coaster of emotions. I really loved the balance between joseon dynasty and modern day.

This story reminded me of Rooftop prince which I also loved, with a time travelling lead from the joseon dynasty however in this drama he can go back an forth. And I loved how different the lead couples personalities were, but they still fell for each other.

I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who loved rooftop prince or even anyone who wanted to start getting in to the historical dramas.

So this drama is cute and funny and it had me laughing quite a lot at the beginning

My problem with this drama was that the first half was great but towards the end from episode 10 onwards it just got boring. I found myself skipping scenes just to get through it all. I really liked the premise of this drama though, and how it turns gender roles on it's head, with the male being the naive innocent and the female the career-oriented strong person. I'm not sure why but the plot seems so average to me, even with this uniqueness.

The acting was good, though I found No Min Wo to be really odd/alien-looking and I desperately felt the need to cut his fringe off. To be honest it was a bit distracting. I found Yang Jin Sung to be a great actress and this is the first time I really saw her acting.

I'd recommend this drama if you wanted something new and different, its cute, sweet and funny, just be prepared for the lacking story.

This drama was such an emotional roller coaster, but definitely worth it. The story was pretty average really, it could have been in more depth but the I liked the premise. The real depth of love they have for each other definitely comes across even though at times it makes it awkward to watch since Young thinks Oh Soo is her brother. My only problem is that this drama was magnificent but it had a dreamland ending which was predictably rushed and nearly killed me thinking about the possibilities as the ending was not clear.

It was Jo in Sung's acting that really pulled me into this drama, I started to fall in love with him myself. I had watched him in that's okay it's love with my favourite actress gong hyo jin, He is just so good at expressing his emotions through his whole body even his eyes. Also Song Hye Kyo's acting was amazing, it must be hard to keep your eyes unfocused all the time.

I seriously found myself crying along with the characters and falling in love just as they were. This is definitely a drama that sticks around with you too. I finished it yesterday but all day today I could only think about this drama. It's so sad but beautiful. The more I think on it too I realise that the journey was the important part of this drama not necessarily the ending.

I wish I could have given this a 10 because their love was so perfect, they needed each other so much but the ending really let down this amazing drama for me. That's not to say it wasn't good, but it wasn't amazing either. I also regret not having watched this sooner as I thought it would be sadder than it is. If you haven't watched this drama, go do it now!

I was really looking forward to this drama and did enjoy it for a while but I found it quite average.

The story was pretty good with a couple of twists and did make me laugh with just the difference of personalities in the leads. The female lead was great but I found that the Eun Hwan Ki had a lot of goofy personality traits, obviously designed to show how introverted he was. As an introvert myself I found some of his traits funny but others almost offended me in its portrayal. I guess its called drama for a reason though.

Overall I thought it was a nice average drama with a cutesy heartwarming feel despite the tragic events.

I had been looking forward to this drama all year, and I'm glad to say I was in no way disappointed!

It had a brilliant cast, with So Ji Sub and Shin Min Ah nothing could go wrong. I love SJS and was amazed by his acting in this drama, I really think his acting has grown since the rigid acting in Master's Sun. Also there were a lot of hot moments with SJS in this drama, which I was over the moon about! (;
At first I didn't like the idea of shin min ah with SJS since I loved him with Gong Hyo Jin the most, but wow these two blew me away with their chemistry! I guess that's why they won best couple award. Also Shin Min Ah is an amazing actress as we all know.

The story was funny and kept me wanting more however there were a lot of times where I didn't know what the writer was doing, or how things tied together. E.g the random stalker. But overall the main plot was good. Strangely enough the secondary couple and plot was all over the place and felt very separate to the main plot. Usually their stories are better developed but the main cast and story dazzled in comparison.

I will definitely watch this drama again, in fact I already find myself missing it.
