Compared to Full house Thai, i prefer Full house. Compared to It started with a kiss (Taiwan} I prefer Kiss me Thai.

Why this is preferable: TenTen's character here has higher EQ compared to other versions that although initially he was aloof, he wasn't cold and you catch many glimpses of him smiling because of Thaliw. And it was better scripted in terms of tying back to their history of being childhood friends and his first love. Thaliw's character was written in a way that shows although she is slow, but she isn't an airhead or blindly clingy. So it was more acceptable than other versions although I generally and usually don't like my heroine like this. Then there's the love that was simple and like they say it's not about compatibility or thinking with your head. It's all about the heart. The folded stars really threw me back a decade ago when I folded them for my boyfriend. Sweet reminders. Then there's the romantic settings. The scene under the willow tree with sparkling lights was my favorite. Very picturesque and beautiful.

Why only 8/10: unlike full house there's a lil too much screetime on unimportant charactwrs like NamKang who I didn't care to know. Then later on we have Nana. again wasting precious screetime. Episode 15,16,17,18 were forgettable, wallowing and I dislike ten tem immensely to the point I wanted to walk into my screen and shake some sense into him. Episode 19 was mostly sad. It wasnt until episode 20 when it redeemed itself. So in all about 5episodes that spoiled what could have been much better if they didn't show TenTen uncertain for so long.

Acting was a full marks. Like my review on Full House. Chemistry on Aom Mike always top notch. The character of King was great too and nicely acted. I'll miss seeing Aom and Mike since I watched their 2 dramas back to back. Here's hoping they will start filming season 2 soon.

Majority says this is the best remake and although I usually don't like remakes I have to agree hands down this is the best of the lot.

They did almost every thing right. The 2 main ingredients for a good romantic drama in my book was done so well. First the two leads were so correctly cast. They have chemistry and there was an ease in their interactions. I truly see when Mike looks at Aom there's interest sometimes tenderness in his gaze. Either he's a great actor immersed in the character or he's quite taken with her in real life. Secondly the storyline puts focus on them. The entire series reserved most of the screen time for them. That means we see them interact a lot. They spend a lot of time communicating fighting quarreling doing mundane things to sight seeing and also cycling. In the process you witness how they got closer starts to understand each other and fall in love. So 2 beautiful ingredients brewed to a very enjoyable drama

So plotwise I do like how it deviated from the Korean version. We also get a lot of Korea in this drama . almost like selling Korea as tourist destination. Lol

Min was quite an annoying character but thankfully overall she wasn't overly featured compare to other versions. But be advised episode 16 to 18 were my least favorite. Meanwhile episode 19 is mostly flashback. If you've missed some of the cute and romantic scenes between Aom and Mike, you most likely will catch it in episode 19.

Of course not everything makes perfect sense, some clichés too but it didn't affect my viewing or enjoy a nice love story. I have to !mention I much prefer Mike's outfit here to Rain's . and Mike's character is better too. Cause early on wr already see he demonstrated a soft side to Aom. And they were on friendlier terms faster too. Their bickerings were mostly cute instead of hurtful. Aom's character is also a nice balance of cute and naivety but she's not clueless. In fact I found it admirable that once she realised her feelings she admitted it instead of lying to herself. So refreshing to see.

This review is getting lengthy but really there's lots to love in this drama for its simple take that's right up !y alley. So after this I'm jumping on to Kiss Me drama staring the same leads..

My heart is still beating wildly listening to the piano pieces played in episode 2 and the last piece in episode 3. Music that moves the heart

This is a super short drama that captures how the fates of 3people become intertwined and help each other to find themselves. That in the end one needs to enjoy what you do in order to do it well and happily. Without a doubt Ji Soo's character Cha Sik shines the brightest. i really enjoyed watchin him in Sassy Go Go. Here he is both funny on the dorky side and determined in learning to play.

I just checked and am suprise Kim So Hyun who plays the young prodigy Yoo Sul who turned blind is only 16. what a great actress. Here's hoping she will be casted in more dramas. Her character initially takes some warming up to due to arrogance and aloofness. This changes after her accident and subsequenly meets Cha Sik. As she opens up so did my heart open up for her too.

Jin Mok her archrival was another character that took some time to warm up to. He was petty to begin with. Turns out what he needed most was confidence in himself and to play it freely to enjoy piano.

Music i rated perfect 10 for the piano piece which was syphony and soothing balm to listen to.

My only complain is i wish it was longer. I have become invested in all 3 of the characters by the end of episode 3 and there's nothing to go on from there. I did like to think and hope Cha Sik gets to romance YooSul.. any hopes for a Special or part 2?

This drama has alot of Heart. 18yr old youthful heart to be exact. But despite its cheery title, it's also realistic and shows the plight of students who are struggling. It doesn't matter if they are rich or poor, privileged or not, overachiever or underachiever, they all face alot of personal problems that in some instances rob of the innocent friendships and playfulness of youth

We have a budding romance between the sassy outspoken if rash Yeon Deol butting heads with Yeol the class president and the most intelligent boy in school. You have awesome bromance between Yeol and his childhood friend Ha Yoon. You have Yeon Deol and her fellow club friends. You have the friendship turn betrayal between Yeon Deol and Soo Ah who is the character everyone loves to hate until you see what drives her to those actions and in the end although I don't condone her actions, I do pity her and understand her plight to a certain extent.

This drama is a little heavy in my book. Cause it is sad to see the youths being forced and even bullied by their parents to get top grades. The school is so competitive that the students have to view each other as rivals. And then there's the case of bullying and the case of Ha Yoon's abusive father which really makes me feel sick. Sigh let's say I usually like fluffy and sweet dramas and hate too much of these injustice xxx

Back to the love side: Yeon deol 's character really grows on you. She has so much guts that if I'm a guy I would like her too. Yeol is the fast thinking guy who don't usually care for others except his best friend. Through Yeon deol he gained courage to trust in people. And through Yeol she learned to calm down and think before act. I like that he wasn't wishy washy when he realised he likes her. And true to this words, he doesn't beat around the Bush or hides it behind his ego like alot of male drama characters.

I really like how the cheerleader club members slowly warm to each other and the friendship that develops. The competition itself isn't for winning. It's really about seeing things to the end, not giving up and doing something you love with your friends. It makes me think of the time I was 18.

I also enjoy the good teacher characters. But the principal annoy the hell out of me.

And Ha Yoon 's character is just so sad. I wish we can have a follow up drama for his story only. That's how much I like him (and Ji soo who portrayed him)

All in all. I enjoyed it thoroughly but somehow I don't think il be re-watching it any time soon

"Marriage might not be eternal but i still want to love you forever". That line makes an impression for me and il remember it along with this drama

The guy wants to be alone while the girl is afraid of being alone. Surely match made in heaven

There's alot of things to like in this drama
You have a typical rich guy poor girl but this girl is vocal, loves to drink, stands up against injustice and kind
You have typical pretend couple turn to real emotions, along the way its both cute fun with some emotional twist
You have strong family theme too on both the male and female side, and how their parents marriage shaped their thoughts on marriage or fear of (this is something quite realistic)

It also cements that although love is between two people but marriage is really between two families.

This drama is a very good balance of rom com, some absurdities and silliness meets realistic family plot.

The cast is good and love Han Groo as Jang mi.

Its been a fun ride of 16episodes but i do thk episode 11 to 15 feels a bit slow. Do give this a watch if you come across it

-- SPOiler --
The wedding scene was atypical and somehow appropriate for our couple
The proposal speech wise was romantic but lacking in action...and feels cheated on behalf of jangmi ( you know what i mean when you watch it)

Low key under appreciated drama that deserves lots of praise for good cast and Plot. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Top marks for acting. Our 3 leads are seldom seen on the small screen as the actor is usually in a musical and actress PBY mostly in movies. Fantastic chemistry too.

Park Bo Young stars as Na Bong Su- a timid girl living in a shell due to her ability to see ghost. Complication and comedy ensues after a ghost inhabit her body and her character undergoes complete changes. And the ghost antics in trying to seduce Chef, owner of the restaurant that Bong Su works as a trainee..

The kiss scenes were good too. I hav to be honest as a romance drama addict, pretend and lukewarm kisses are an eyesore to watch. Too man Korean y dramas have poorly acted kiss scenes with hands lying limp at their sides and awkward head angle. Thank goodness none in Oh my ghost. Their scenes are comedic, romantic and sweet.

I wish Park Bo Young will accept some more dramas to star in. She's a natural actress and very easy on the eyes

Story: Romace-centric set in the palace but different from your usual C - drama. The romance is always the main plot. Not so much on politics or war strategy or palace politics or concubines fighting. Which is why it's my cup of tea and I love it when arranged marriage results in dislike turning to attraction turning to love

But I do find it to be not very refine (rough around the edges). The theme of male soul in female body while interesting might not be for everyone

Costumes.: Mostly a miss. Qi Sheng's mostly were ok until he don war armour paired with 3quarter pants and that translucent outfit.. What were the costume people thinking? Pengpeng clothes.. Maybe I'm prudish I prefer the ones that are more covered up. The green one bordered on vulgar.

- Spoiler-
Love a lot of romantic scenes that were touching and memoeable
When he explain himself and clear up that it wasn't love with 2nd brother's wife. I had alot of respect for him here
When he admitted later that each time he wasn't testing her he was betting that she would choose him and he would be the one she can rely on. So man
When he said he don't wan an empress, he wants a wife to be by his side and he wanted her while heart, not half.
When she woke from her nightmare and realise she has fallen in love with her unborn baby
When she was in the mud pit searching for the antidote for him
When she final admitted she loves him

All these parts are worth rewatchin.

My advise is watch Ep 1 to 35, skip 36 and watch the 3rd ending

Score: 10/10 for EP1 to 20; 6/10 for EP 21 to 27. 4/10 for EP28
To be honest to enjoy it I skip some of the storyline, I find I don't really care much what's going on on the side of the bad guy. I'm in this drama for the romcom and I don't mind a lil heartache if that's what's necessary. That's why the first 2/3 of the drama is a must watch for the fun the romance and her falling in love with him. Fast forward necessary for the last third of the drama if you are like me.

Acting: 10/10 for Janice Wu Qian;6/10 for Kim Tae Hwan;8/10 for supporting casts
Janice quite like her character in My Sunshine was so lively and unapologetic, interesting juxtaposition against tae hwan as the cold blood xue monster

Romance: fluffy ttypes with squabbles, comedic moments, sweet moments and nice skinship lol quite a bit of good kiss scenes. I find it amazing that they can generate the chemistry despite not speaking each other's language as tae hwan is being dubbed (side note I saw interviews where janice speaks to him in English and he could comprehend it enough)

I wont spoil it but i have to say i wish it was wrapped up better in ep 28... could have been best comedic romantic drama until they spoil it with that ending

I've recently click and watch scenes that I love. So needless to say Rewatch value is high for selected scenes for me

Now there's buzz there would be a second season.. We shall see. Personally I thk Amazing boyfriend is a must watch C drama for 2016

7.0 is my generous score. i watch from ep 1 to 10 n then do scene skipping watchin 11 to 15 and found i lost the drive to watch faithfully. my plan now to skip right to the last episode for closure.

Plot: could have worked since its a remake of the Korean version but it didnt as theres tpo much recycling of a thin plot that would hav worked if the drama is half of actual length

Cast: Jin Bo Ran was passable in his role but i have a hard time rooting for Zheng shuang character. I dont feel her and its hard to root for the heroine when you dont care

Chemistry: My major problem. somehow i dont feel them despite some scene s that were set romantically... i thought to myself if the actress was someome else could have worked...

Nearly a perfect score, shows how much i enjoy it both story and character wise.

Although initially i thought of City Hunter but the plot is different and I actually prefer Healer. Park M Y character here is better too. Love our female lead isnt just a damsel in distress. She has spunk, kind and bravery despite her pitiful childhood. The same characteristics mentioned that drawn the interest of our hero.

Both the leads acted really well and brought the jist of their character and has good chemistry too.

Romance story ( thats my main priority in a drama) =D : Love how initially he wasnt receptive , she was just the subject his client requested. Love how it evolved. I wont spoil it but have to mention their first date was different but romantic and she really put herself out there for someone she hasnt met upfront but trusted her feelings. Their first kiss was really swoon worthy and among my top 10 memorable drama kisses.

No idea why it took me so long to click and watch. I marathon and finish in 2days.

Short sweet simple.
The storyline could be nothing new but for a short short drama it works, isnt draggy and lots od cute and sweet interaction between the joseon king and the highschool girl. The ending is believable and nice too. If you come across it randomly like I did, do give it a chance. Worth your time.

I struggled to finish watching it, especially the last third.

Story: Started off interesting and promising but slowly loosing traction, messy plotlines. I find i slowly dont care. On paper the plot should have worked but maybe not stretch out to 32 episodes and problem of execution?

Acting: Its a beautiful cast with surprise guest appearance of Angela Z. The acting was ok for me. But chemistry between the 2 leads was touch and go. I couldnt really tell when they start falling for each other. I didn't like Danson T's role either, abit too pitiful and some of his irked or surprise expression (widen eyes and mouth agap) was recycled from when i last saw him on Murphy's Law of love. Pity cause i do like him.

Rewatch value: Seeing as watching the first time round i had to force myself to finish.. safe to say i wont rewatch

This isnt my usual cup of tea. its lengthy and of melodrama material. i had to forward and skip parts of nearly every episode. Considering my preference, i have to say im still invested enough in the 2 leads to persevere and finish watching to the end to find out what happen (i didnt read the novel)

Big kudos to Wallace Chung who really brought his character to par and pull me in as a keen observer to the romance between him and mo sheng. I dont dislike Tiffany but they are some scenes she seem flat or come off as one dimensional.

the major fault is too long too draggy. A better editor would have seen that it needs serious editing and removing redundant scenes and too much flashbaks. i also find alot of time wasted on characters i dont care about or worse, characters we all love to hate.

Im still happy i finished but seeing as its too draggy and im too impatient for this type of drama, rewatch value is really low for me

It's a rarity for me to watch a modern Chinese drama but im pleasantly surprised thqt i enjoy it. Although the rich man poor girl storyline isnt original, the drama avoided being too cliche.

Things that i love:
1. He notice her first and secretly watch her during lunch hour with just a window between them
2. He appreciate her simplicity even though naive
3. Although rich he didnt flaunt his wealth or shower her with extravagant gifts. i gind the engraved plate he gave her along with his number as emergency contact romantic and refreshing
4. I enjoyed watching her with her cousin and girlfriend as well as parents

Things i dislike
1. The pace sometimes seem slow. i felt it could have been editted to 25episodes for a better flow and pace
2. Although acting wise was ok. I did find Zhang Han quite stony faced in some scenes which affected the chemistry as a result.
3. i wish the guy's character to be more proactive. He sometimes has to be told she's upset orworried by others before he act on it or reassure her
4. The proposal in my opinion wasn't that romantic
5. As a romance drama of 33episodes we should have been rewarded with more sweet moments or romantic scenes. i kept waiting for their kiss among the fields as seen in the opening theme
6. Her character was decent enough although I wish she had caught on earlier. Doesn't hurt to be smarter

Overall i did enjoy it

This is not a perfect story but if you wamt an enjoyable romantic drama…look no further. This is my first Taiwanese drama for over 5years and I love being swept back to memories of teenage years bundled up with a romance novel. That's what it felt like watching it. Theres lots of sweet moments exchanging glances, starring into each other's eyes and skinship. While there's looop holes in the plotlines and really the first 12episodes were better overall i watch it for the believable romance. Great chemistry. Don't have two high expectations and just let the romantic parts sweep you off your feet.
