I have my fair share of complaints for this show, but one line made me raise my eyebrows a bit. "Having feelings for someone doesn't depend on how long it is. It depends on how they make you happy at that moment." I thought that was a pretty good line. Sometimes feelings grow fast and you don't even know why. Sometimes you can know someone for years, and never feel anything. The heart is a strange thing.

Love It

This episode had a little bit of everything and I really loved it. It had action and even gave an intimateside of the guards. Of course Kim and Kamol were the main course. Danai and Danil are just irritants and I know they will be dealt with properly.

They kept going with those. I’m glad they touched base on Puens fame because I knew that was going to be an issue. This was lowkey a banger and I loved it. Love them forever bro. Okay bye!

Huh?

I just had to review this episode separately.

First and foremost, Where are the doctors?!

Literally majority of the episode is everyone running around to find joo won and Ra Im, however the doctors don't seem the notice when a patient is leaving the room ( When joo won took Ra Im's body the first time and when Ra Im ran out to see Joo won)

In addition to this, i was expecting more to the reunion between Ra Im and her father but we merely got a small glimpse of their relationship and how the father missed his daughter. I wish he could of had at l east a conversation with Ra Im or even explaining himself further and what he did.

However there were some good moments, and MANY sad moments, I caught myself tearing throughout this episode.

What i didn't expect was that they would wake up immediately after Ra Im's father gave them the drink to remove the spell, if this was the case why not take out the whole swapping bodies spell and just saved Ra Im's life originally? Why put them through all the angst and heartbreak of thinking they both were going to be completely gone. ( Ra Im stuck in Joo Won's body forever and Joo Won dead)

And Now.. Amnesia? This screwed this the story line and now i understand they used this to drag the story even further. I already have a good feeling the mother will use this to her advantage.

P.S. since when did Joo Won date his doctor? I didn't even expect that. But i should of known because of the advice she gave to " Ra Im" who was really Joo Won at the time.

The romance between Soo and the 8th Prince is intense. The slow build up between her and the 4th is tantalizing. Which makes this drama epic! Oh, my emotions. I've said it from the beginning that I'm on both 4th and 8th Prince's teams. I love that I'm so conflicted! Masochist! Masochist!

This was a great episode. I loved how it highlighted Soo's determination and that her kindness and ability to sympathize is a strength. Plus, it was sweet to see the head lady of the Maids? (I've forgotten the name) admit to much to Soo. She's totally won her over.

Ah, how cute is it that Wook (8th Prince) is letting Soo now how he feels and that he will wish for her. However, that cliffhanger. So is just too obvious an option to be the wicked king! I refuse. Also, how and why is Soo getting visions? Hmmm. That seems odd and a bit off.

I did like seeing the 3 Prince and his mom knocked down a peg. Even though it was painful to watch poor So suffer. Though I'm no wondering if he won't be wearing his sexy mask anymore? Makeup is a cruel tool when it covers up my Prince's hot scars.

On that note I really enjoyed the 10th Princes and "bear skin girl's" romance. So cute together. Looks like they'll be moving that plot along swiftly.

Yup

Im glad that they teamed up (woohyun and crazy cow). Also glad that there aren't any side stories - I just want to get on with the main story. Did they arrest the wrong person at the end? I thought it was meant to be the one with glasses. I hope they didnt make a mistake. And Woohyun better find that notebook! It was so dramatic the way they entered the room lol Also the guy who was in the car with the female journalist was kinda rude to her o_o

Great episode! I really like Yamada, hope he'll appear again. I felt bad for him, he was just lonely. :(

And Natsume's family is incredibly kind. Wow.

And they finally met the old guy! But who attacked Natsume?? Aw no..

Hayato >>> The Ideal Boyfriend from Shoujo Manga!!! ^^ <3

Hayato's character is the type that will make you want to fall in love!!! Gosh he is so mesmerizing!!! He is like cherry or strawberry on a chocolate cake *drool*!!! yea I'm fangirling over that character! ^^

Miku x Hayato!! :)

Haruka-sempai (if I got her name right) seems to be planning something evil!

Miyuki is cute, but she has an unstable character...I think something must have happened in the past that caused her to be like that!

& yea...episode 8 COME FAST plz!!! :DD

Smart, lovely women abound!

I enjoyed the opening scenes immensely. I was especially impressed with how quickly the foundations for the plot were laid out. I have a feeling I'm not going to be subjected to 4 episodes of political set-up, followed by 4 episodes of childhood and then a rushed story. This makes me really happy. However, with strong actors like Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Yoo Jung playing young versions of the characters and 20 Episodes to play with, maybe I won't mind so much if they linger a little on the early years.

My first impressions of the characters are that aside from the catalyst event everyone seems so nice. It's so refreshing to be watching a drama with so many lovely, intelligent people who are good judges of character and have something to offer. I already like all of them. I know that at some point they'll all be torn apart and I'm already anxious about how much that will hurt me.

Even though the characters are nice, they're not stupid, foolish or (thankfully) over the top. They're complex, and well acted. I recognise plenty of the cast in this and they're all putting in really solid, nuanced performances.

My favourite thing about this so far is that Yeon Woo has been set up as smart and proves her competency plenty of times during the first episode. If this keeps up I'll really love this drama. Good, strong, competent, women characters are so rare in K-Drama land. I can't wait for the rest.

All aboard the feels train!

This episode covered a lot of ground and boy was there a lot of heart break! I really worry about what will happen between Se Ro and Kang Jae now that they appear to be on opposite sides. Hong and Hama's awesome comedic relief provides some respite from the angst while avoiding clashing with the overall theme of the story.

One thing that I really enjoyed about this episode is that it gave more depth to Young Joon's character. Before he just came across as blasé. It was as if he had no cares about anything regarding the business or his family. The previous episode showed some hints, but the reveal of who Lee Eun Soo was as well as what his father did finally broke his mask of indifference.

Overall I would rate this episode a 10. The acting was spot on and the plot is moving along nicely. ^^

ep 57 review--spoilers ahead

I can't believe that there are just two left!! It feels surreal!

1. Ever faithful, Migu defends BQ's actions. BQ acknowledges their requests but explains that as Susu she was his wife, and requests that she be allowed to clean his body and dress him (on her knees she bows and begs). She insists that it is only proper that she do this, as his wife. DH grants this request.

2.3rd prince asks YH's mother to not hold a grudge. But she has a point, he died twice for the same woman. She should be allowed to be heartbroken. He asks that since she is handing the body over to be patient.

3. FJ serves tea and explains she probably won't be queen anymore before giving Dh tea in a rather charged scene.

--Again, I think that DH will put distance between himself and FJ again. He removed his name from the rock to be the best god, basically, and his fear that she would die interfered in his ability to defend the tribe (even if she was trying to protect him). I bet he is going to continue avoiding her because his little indulgences seem to reaffirm his belief that nothing good can come from loving her. I don't think he will stop loving her...but it doesn't look good for team FJ

4.We see an extremely poignant and emotionally charged scene as BQ speaks to the dead YH, talking to him about things she never told him when he was alive. She explains that now she understands the heavy burden he basically has crown prince but talks about how nice it would be if he were normal. She explains that she was inadequate, not good enough, but as queen it's funny how useless she is. She promises to never forget him and shares a secret: that when he stood outside her fox den for seven days she had already forgiven him but because of her stubbornness and desire to appear strong, she couldn't tell him. She acknowledges how difficult his life has been and then kisses him. (SO SAD! the only person who i can think of who has suffered more than the people in this show is Bones from Journey of Flower)

5. YH is in his coffin while surrounded by his family. Members of the celestial tribe and fox tribe are there. She asks permission to go to the sea of innocence but is denied access because she is not a member of the celestial tribe (ouch!). FJ stands up for her aunt and their love (ever loyal) but BQ understands (I say f**** their rules at this point but they are sticklers for the rules). Everyone disappears, and BQ runs outside, having not accepted that he has gone. She collapses. FJ leaves temporarily I assume to help her.

(I have a bad feeling about FJ trying to help her aunt...my gut tells me she will do something really dumb or really selfless, neither will be good)

6. Members of the celestial tribe have returned. Following not far behind is FJ. She is not allowed to enter. DH turns around and stops in front of FJ (the distance between them seems really big right now)

7.FJ asks DH how his injuries are; he says they are almost healed. He says that he thought she was going to ask the question again, that if he had not removed his name from the rock, would he have fallen for her. His answer is yes (not what I was expecting). Next he confirmed what I knew all along by clearly stating it--that he underwent that heavenly trial to fulfill his own personal wish. He tells her to leave. And smiles, before turning to go. I think he is rather amazed at his own admission. Poor Fj (if I didn't know about pillow book I won't lie I might not have finished this drama).

8.We change our scene to BQ who is wearing gray (mourning) and wandering through the peach blossoms in a bit of a bored daze. While she is sleeping BQ dreams she is visited by YH. She embraces him and then he fades away. BQ wanders around, calling for him. 4th brother shames her and says that she should be able to survive without him. She says it isn't that she can't, it's just that she doesn't know how

9.BQ confesses she told YH that he spent his lifetime seeking what he could not have; she admits she is not different. BQ admits she cannot live without him.

10. BQ continues to see him in her dreams. I am not sure if this is actually YH communicating to her or not. But who cares?

11. Time passes, and soon 3 years have passed. FJ is having her hair brushed by her mother. She is wearing really bright red lipstick. Apparently her aunt has been travelling for years. Wearing a red dress, FJ is about to be introduced as the next queen (?). Her father leads her outside and all the people watch while she is being led to a platform. Even now she is thinking of DH . Her internal monologue reveals that he has been working hard, has insomnia. DH is at the top of the platform, and she walks to him, and she decides that from today forward she will embrace her duties as queen and she says she can no longer do what she used to do (he isn't there it is her imagination). I think she is choosing to bear the burden of her tribe since her aunt can't do it because she is not in any frame of mind to.

12. (this is actually more fitting with her personality for pillow book). Si Ming shows up with a gift from DH. He gives her a map that he personally made and used to conquer the world. Apparently this is a big deal as not even the celestial king could use it. She asks for a message. Si Ming says that she will understand when she opens it. In return she gives him a bow and hopes that they remain friends. DH in his study has watched the entire thing. It looks like he has her tail, that she cut off, on his belt. I take it that is his way of acknowledging their mutual feelings?

13.We change scenes to the mortal realm (has she basically given up on her kid?). BQ is drinking tea and watching a play. Some random lower deity shows up and begs for money--she gives it. She appears interested in her brother. They muse about how much it sucks to be mortal. BQ reports that it doesn't matter if she can't differentiate between dreams and reality because it is still life.

14. Apparently Si jin got reincarnated into a not so nice life...

Visually and emotionally gripping

Finally I am starting to get involved with the love story. It has taken me a while since I get a little distracted from the (amazing but slow) directing. It finally jelled nicely in an intense and exciting episode that is full of politics vs love/friendship scenes. The last part where he is being killed was so well done I held my breath till the preview.

Yu Die..Yu Die...how STUPID can you be? And you are still surprised Hu Ji tricked you...Really? I thought that would be a given you brainless moron...

And I can't decide whether the fights between Yao Yao & Wen Tian are cute & funny or just plain annoying.
