A great drama about radiologists

Really recommend this show, It's funny, Cast were great and the story was good. It's a different type of medical show which follows radiologists, We never see these types of workers in the medical shows.

Kubota Masataka absolutely killed it in this show, Igarashi Iori is a great character and he suited the role.

Honda Tsubasa is just great in whatever she's in, Same with Hirose Alice.

YooJun Hard Carried

This drama has an interesting plot but honestly the execution could be heaps better. Everything feels half baked including the acting. YooJun gave a solid performance, but you can tell that the other male lead is still developing his skills. Unfortunately eventhough there platonic chemistry is amazing, I don't think they had any romantic chemistry. I just wished the other male lead look slightly more happy to kiss men.

AMAZING, EMOTIONAL

This was an absolute delight to watch. Congratulations to the writer, what a great storyline. As expected, Kim Soo Hyun was phenomenal in his performance. I now have become a fan of Kim Ji Won, she was outstanding in her role. I was really happy to see Kwak Dong Yeon in this drama. He is a great actor and very handsome. The drama was funny, emotional, and brought tears to my eyes. I could feel the emotions of the drama thru the exceptional performance of the actors. Thank you, Kim Soo Hyun and all of the other actors for the hard work put into this work. The real fans are very appreciative. This is definitely a drama that will be watched & rewatched for years to come.

Zhou Yutong disappointed me..!

Acting is great but Fl's character is confusing and annoying..! At start she started off like she is an independent woman but later on her obsession towards Shanghai..,to me it seemed disgusting..! and Li Xian is Brilliant as always..! Chen Nai Nai and Lin Nai nai's Sisterly bond is As Pure as Coconut water ? their Sismance is Divine ✨..! And here comes the reason why i watched this drama..! eventhough Zhou Yutong is used to be one of my favourites, But I worship Wanpeng..! she is my goddess..! starting from "My Girlfriend is an alien" .! i especially checked the cast and Later found out my goddess and immediately started watching this one..! she is such a cutie, elegant, and Most beautiful actress ever..! I'm crazyily in love with her ??? Her Bff bond with Zhou yutong is also a Visual Treat.! and He Niao Niao is the cutest of all the Characters inside the drama.!

Wow!!! A drama that should not be missed♥

Wow!!! A drama that should not be missed even though it is already a decade old.
It's a perfect drama, it's been praised here in the past over the years, (a decade!!) and I thought to myself what can I do to innovate and still express my opinion..so what doesn't/does it have that makes it so good, successful and addicting. (Full disclosure, I did not read all the comments)
There is no trace of evil/corruption/chaebol vs middle class/jealousy or a love triangle to be fought over (as is customary in classic dramas)
It has beyond perfect casting and talented and beautiful actors who are so natural and not made up on a plastic level) depth, witty texts, wise sayings, it has healing and recovery, unconditional love between spouses and friends, inclusion, openness in the discourse about sexuality/love/traumas/health mental/sacrificing. I cried more in it than in Queen of Tears (Don't Kill Me), (it's in the style of "Kill me, heal me", "Hyde Jackal, I", "It's okay not to be okay") Don't panic, It also has funny (witty) parts. 10/10 and if possible even more..

It is not at all interesting for some viewers

"Walk With You" may be a mini drama, but it leaves a lasting impression. While the storyline doesn't offer anything particularly new, it still managed to capture my interest. The plot revolves around a girl seeking revenge for her family, who enters the king's palace in disguise.

One unique aspect of the story is that the protagonist becomes aggressive when she inhales the scent of musk. However, despite the somewhat familiar plot, I found myself drawn to the drama.

Perhaps it was the exceptional acting of the cast or the chemistry between the leads that made it so engaging.

A superb romance drama produced by adults for adults

In a sea of samey idol dramas, this series stood out for all the right reasons.

The leads are good actors who are charismatic and handsome in their own way. Their chemistry is off the chart. They are madly in love with each other, and they are not afraid to show their affection. There is a good deal of skinship that feels natural and spontaneous. They can be playful or serious but we are never in doubt about their love for each other. It just feels . . right.

Furthermore, this show is grounded in reality. The ML's work in a funeral parlour doesn’t leave much room for glitz and glam. What we get are spontaneity and home truths. The dead relies on him to preserve their dignity as they shuffle off this mortal coil. A mistake of split second could mean life or death. Those stories are impactful and some will leave an lasting impression. As such, this is not for everyone. While the show handles such passings and their aftermath with dignity and understanding, the stories are mostly maudlin. Anyone who is sensitive to such plots should make an informed decision.

On the other hand, the writer balanced these low points with the OTP’s love line. There are no syrupy rainbows and unicorns moments but just real people looking for love and needing to love. Instead of poor communications and misunderstanding at every turn. Our CP talk about everything. They know they have baggage but they are willing to work to overcome them. Once they are a couple, they have no qualm about PDA. It can be a little awkward for the residents of the small town but it is delicious and we bask in their pink glow.

Of course, our OTP face challenges, but the most important thing is that they behave like adults. They might sulk and say harsh words which they will come to regret. They do acknowledge their mistakes and try to right their wrongs. It doesn’t always lead to a simple resolution but when the stars are aligned, we get fireworks!

I have already mentioned the top-notch performances from our leads but it also boast a strong support cast. I'm really impressed with the young actor playing the role of the FL's sister. She has great potential and I'll keep an eye out for her in future dramas.

I'd highly recommend this drama for true fans of romance dramas. It doesn’t have a parade of young and beautiful idols but it more than compensate for that with quality performances and depth in the storytelling that will resonate with mature viewers. It is not for everyone but if you can handle the weightier subjects then you will find a heartwarming, realistic and swoon-worthy drama. It has a permanent place in my re-watch list.

Realistic Drama

This is one of those dramas that are close to reality. Good job for tackling on a difficult subject about death and the honorable job of morticians who are often shied away by people just because of the nature of their work.

The drama also features scenic views of Nanping (I am not sure if this is a real place in China or just fiction) that I am tempted to visit the place.

It is an excellent drama but unfortunately not my genre, the reason for my 8/10 rating.

I am so incredibly lost it's not even funny

Maybe I missed something, or the series is supposed to be this way, but I've never been so confused while watching a series. I genuinely had no fucking clue what was going on for like 80% of the runtime. I like taking notes while watching series, and for this one I wrote down "what is going on" like twenty times. I'm not even kidding.

The thing is, this is a SHORT series. So much so that I finished ep 5 and thought there were still a few more to come. Only today did I realize that it is, in fact, over. Which means that the confusion I felt at the beginning doesn't feel justified. At all.

Firstly, it's impossible for me to guess what the relationship between the two main leads is. Are they family friends? Family? Old friends who fell apart? Literally no idea. Between this and the constant flashbacks to their interactions in the past (which aren't explained either), I was a mess trying to put together a coherent storyline to follow. There's so much angst between them, and you as the audience don't know why that is. There's also a messy af dad in there somewhere, God knows why or how or anything, and I literally didn't care because I just met this man an episode ago?? Idk I'm still mad.

The last episode was the only one I felt like I understood some things. The drama was ok and understandable, and the tension between them when he kicked him out of the apartment was well built. The last kiss with the plausible deniability (closing his eyes so they can both pretend it never happened) was sad but also well done.

But like... that's it? I feel like this didn't have a plot at all, and not in a good way. I'd also like to add that that first kiss was so underwhelming it actually made me laugh. It's not that it was awkward -which it was, but first kisses tend to be awkward-, it's that neither of them moved or did anything other that just stand there with their faces pressed against each other's.

So, yeah. Kind of a meh series. It's not necessarily problematic, that's why it's not getting less than a 5, but I wouldn't watch it again.

Overly slow burn revenge show

First thing, the acting of the younger "bullying" cast was good. The older cast tried in general but were lacking in some aspects.

The story itself makes me watch it longer, as someone who has experience with bullying I want to watch all the bullies pay for their crimes, but the pace is so slow and even after these eight episodes not much has happened.

Personally, I believe that a revenge drama especially of this kind needs to be fast paced and it needs to show results to the viewers that something is being done. But, it fails from the very beginning when the female lead goes to introduce herself to the perpetrators and tell them she wants revenge, & even some of her plans and motives (indirectly/directly) to them, like who does that? Tell the people you want vengeance over the truth?

I also disliked the addition of the male lead, after everything she's faced, do the writers really think that she is in need of a love interest? And the way that after she told him what happened he was immediately "who do I kill for you" he basically left his long time job and changed city to be with her (after she has repeatedly avoided his message and has shown basically 0.0001 interest in him) it felt very far fetched and cringe. It also kind of feels like he is a different entity in behaviour from the rest of the cast, (too cheerful, too polite, and kind) and his character has been pretty useless except teaching her how to play GO.

Beautifully shot, incredibly stupid

This is what people who've never been outside think romance is.

Of course it's inappropriate to pair a child with a middle aged man, but the even bigger problem is that their story is BORING. she's chasing him all the way to his village, when all he wants is to be alone and have that beer. she's stalking his work, she gets jealous and possesive in an incredibly immature manner, and this somehow is romantic. wow, sign me up

The only interesting part (hence the 4 stars, otherwise it would be 1 star), is the journey of the mother character. we get to see her protective but overbearing side while dealing with a sick child and the toll it takes on her. how strong she should be to support her daughter and hide all of this from her career. the relationship with the guy is so cute, they meet when she's at her lowest, shamefully shoving chicken in the storage room and he falls in love. cute as hell

TL;DR: the whole show looks stunning, yet it's laughably empty

The plot was quite interesting. It was adorable. It had the chance to be longer. I feel like it came to a closure a little quick in the last eps. I didnt like the time skips to random scenes so much. I could've preferred to see more of their relationship progress. How they came to the conclusion of being together. And how the other character unlocked eventually emotionally his self and felt at ease and comfortable to show his affection. At least to watch some more steps of the character development and the establishment of the love part. I didn't mind of getting no kiss scene. I won't lie though, ofc i wouldn't complain if there was one. Overall i enjoyed it a lot.

Wow, been a long time since i watch a drama that I didn't want it to end

Yes, there is alot of cliches from 20 years ago, but it also have 2 main actor & actress with chemistries we have not seen in a long time. This couple will make you laugh, cry (alot) and emotionally stress out. Their family is frustrating but very funny. Its a story about Romance, lost love, 2nd chance at love again, memory loss, tragic death, suspense and comedy.

Starpower shines, while storytelling stagnates

What worked for the show:

Major starpower across the board. Even outside of Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, Park Sung Hoon and Kwak Dong Yeon are budding stars of their own and provide reason to tune in.

Strong middle episodes. Once the FL's family moved in with the ML's family in the rural town I was sure it was going to follow the trope of them being arrogant, rude etc, but actually the budding relationships among the family members on each side was the major positive driving force of the show.

Inverting the gender trope of the tsundre male CEO to female CEO. The drama industry needs more badass FLs.

What didn't work:

Over-focus on the antagonist in later episodes when the screentime could have been focused on the main couple overcomming the FL's memory loss. Like many kdramas this one included someone with psychopathy/sociopathy playing an overbearing evil character.

Childhood reunion trope. In this drama we find out that the ML not only saved the FL's life, but also kept her ipod as she was his first crush. I don't think this trope is natural, although extremely common in kdramas with the idea of fated love, but felt completely unnessary and forced.

Poor writing at times and overly convient plot devices. There are several issues with the plot in general, how are we supposed to support a character who actively feels relief when he finds out his partner is dying in a few months. Everything medical is spoken as a matter of fact and that medical science for experimental procedures is exact. The show treats her surgery which is a supposed rare technique with a few academic papers as a 100 percent success rate on curing her terminal cancer and highly likely to affect her memory. Medical procedures, even those not used for dramatic effect, have risk involved and uncertainty.
The certainty of how the medical side was handled made the show feel less realistic. How are the parents not following their daughter who is getting an experimental treatment in a foreign country with likely memory side effects?

A rolling coaster of emotion & superb cinematography visualize.

With well-written characters, post-war sequelae, and exceptional acting... this movie just proves that it is one of the masterpiece movies this year.

First, I never thought I would love a MonsterVerse film, and admittedly looking forward to watching this so badly because heard it won an Oscar, even watched "Shin Godzilla" while waiting. I already watched some Hollywood Godzilla movies and never liked them at all, these movies are all just dull and meaningless which created a showcase for the development of their excellent cinematography.

★ The Plot:
The movie unfolds two years after the end of World War II, when Japan's economy was severely impacted and focuses extensively on postwar living and rebuilding the country from the ashes. Japan was embargoed during the time, and not only the economy but nearly every other aspect of life suffered greatly. Godzilla emerged out of nowhere, bringing the country, which was already in disorder and instability, to the edge of disaster.

--> In contrast to Shin Godzilla, which depicts the conflict between the young and old generations in the Japanese government apparatus, as well as the evolution of this monster, Godzilla Minus One focuses heavily on the personal tragedy of "each human face" to highlight the trauma they were forced to endure. All of the characters in the film had traumas following the war. When the situation pushes them to rise and confront a monster they know little about, the characters try to keep going because they believe the sun will shine again one day.

★ Characters:
While the human character arc is often ignored in Hollywood films, in this film it is the focus and core of the plot, contributing to the film's success. Our protagonist is one of the symbols of all the post-war suffering: survival guilt, and the loss of family that every person and soldier in that era went through. Even the supporting characters have ample screen time to express each of their emotions adequately.

★ Acting:
Kamiki Ryunosuke surprised me with his acting skills, he's nailed it as a kamikaze pilot character, the scared eyes to determine eyes, hands trembling, and lines... are all excellent. Other supporting and background actors also give their best in their roles to make their characters vivid.

★ Cinematography:
A big appreciation for the art of the screenwriter & director Yamazaki Takashi he's absolutely talented and one the best ever by making this art with just 15M$.

In the end, congratulations to the director and all the actors for won a best winning award for their efforts.
