Watch it at least once

If you're a baby stay or interested in the boys, I think you will enjoy the show.

Objectively, it's a good reality show, nothing new, nothing we haven't seen before in any survival show. But it's the beginning of Stray Kids and the show that introduced us to the boys. If you're excepting drama you will get it, but don't expect it between the members (no fights) (at least not on camera (hyunsung I am looking at you)).

It honestly feels like watching a group of (talented) friends fighting for their dreams. There are laughs, worries, and tears. The performances are also good. Don't expect the same level as now performance-wise because the group was just starting back then. The songs are good though! Also, for me, even if I can recall a lot of little moments that are iconic, I can only think of 3 or 4 performances that are a must-watch for anyone that is not a fan.

So, all in all, as a Stay I hate and love this survival show because I started stanning after watching it in 2017, but they went through a lot :/

But if you want entertainment and want to see how it all started (how far they've come), give it a chance :)

The episodes of this drama are short but is enough to give you a sweet tooth! It talks about relationships of love and friendship among ordinary people, which I think is nice because most people could relate to it especially ordinary Koreans.
I also liked that they chose new and unknown korean actors for this web series, because it really presented well the setting and the image they wanted to portray which is an ordinary workplace. It wouldn't have been very convincing if they were to put famous actors or idols in it.
If you are bored and just want a cute drama to pass by time i suggest you give this a try, 35 minutes and you are done with the whole series, and would leave you smiling.

Amazing drama with weak ending

Well this drama took me by a pleasant surprise, i kind of knew what to expect from the reviews but you never really know till you try for yourself so here is my take on the drama.

This drama reminds me a lot of healer with a more serious tone and without the romance tag (ps i dont know why they don't really make dramas like that anymore). i really loved the plot twists, i loved that the characters were smart at least till the final 4 episodes.... (i hate when drama detectives, police etc do clown shit that isn't even logical to viewers). in the final 4 episodes everybody's IQ reduced by at least 70!

kudos to the psychopath, chile.... he nailed his role so much i think i hate the actor now. the ML was such a cute bad ass two faced dude. the FL was too much sometimes and over zealous, apart from that she was badass too. The hacker guy and video girl were smart and cool, video girl had two episodes of clownery but aside that she was pretty smart , consistent and mostly the voice of reason in the group. The priest...... just wow such an eye candy, i remember him from dr romantic 2.... the lead police lady was really cool until the last few episodes , loved her sarcasm. Her daughter on the other hand was dumb from start to finish.... i really wished for the worse for her.... anyways the prosecutor that loved the female lead was annoying at first trying to overdo himself but in later episodes i really liked him and all his decisions.

The reason i think this drama didn't get the hype and love it deserves is because of the final 4 episodes! apart from the sudden reduction in IQ levels, there was absolutely no closure on the characters, both the villans and the hero.... now i wasn't expecting a full blown happy ending where everything worked out, evil guys die and good guys live BUT the final episode especially was filled with a whole bunch of nothing instead of giving details as to what happened to the main characters... it was just too sloppy and very different from the initial strong episodes.

This series was soooo good. I watched it on YouTube. Not the greatest quality but the story will pull you in. I was sad, happy, frustrated, mad and so much more. Family drama, wicked relative, revenge, action, redemption, love, chemistry. It has it all. I loved the character development. Over time you are able to see the characters mature and grow. Just great. Definitely a must watch and most likely a rewatch.
I didn’t know what to expect and in truth the beginning episodes will throw you off a bit but if you can get through the first two episodes you will not stop watching.

I started watching this drama because of Miona Hori and I'm glad I did. This drama is about a couple Noburu and Aiko. Noburu is a handsome designer who draws a high salary and has a good marriage with Aiko. Though Aiko has a secret relationship with her boss at her company and she keeps an affair from Noburu. Noburu finds out and he follows her, takes all evidence and goes crazy. He wants to take a divorce but still has feelings for her. Aiko is a witch and she has double personality, in front of Noburu she is an angel and when she meets the affair she acts like a devil. This drama was worth watching, I wish it had more episodes :

I was surprise I enjoyed this show very much. At first I had a hard time getting into the show because of Chae Rim's ajjumma hairstyles, but eventually i got over it. The romance and comedy were well balanced in this series. Although i liked the main character love story, I found the the supporting character romance more unique and entertaining. Overall, I find this series very quirky but nonetheless enjoyable. I think it has a Japanese drama genre to it, which I noticed some Korean directors have a difficult time pulling it off. I definitely would recommend this show to others who like romance-comedy.

What... the... heck.

Short: Overall, this feels like an exceptionally light and bubbly drama, with a major exception, this is like a cure for all ailments, a cure for all people feeling a bit down. The cast are light, the story is amusing, the piano music is fantastic - and approachable, the main theme is "twinkle twinkle little star". Ra-Ra's character is the most light hearted, innocent and pure i've ever seen in a drama. And then the story takes a major course change and then crashes and burns in the most spectacular way (imho).

Detailed:
This story has some interesting characters, the writers will take you on a really clever journey of misdirection on a number of occasions leaving you hurling insults at the TV as an episode ends and then explaining in more detail in the following episodes. Time and time again you will fall for the misdirection because it's all in the fun and really done quite well.

In some respects it's a bit of a Romeo and Juliet, they are together but he's run away from home and the mother is relentlessly hiring people to try and find him and force him back on the path she and the father want instead, so there's this note of wanting to be together but then forces trying to keep them apart.

There's a hint of a love triangle (albeit one that I was sincerely hoping they wouldn't pursue) but it did keep things interesting and allowed for more than one bit of amusing misdirection.

The piano music is great, I love the Piano, it's my favourite musical instrument - but my appreciation for it is probably at a simpler level than many and I find that I can't enjoy a lot of the Piano music that people consider great because I just can't get into it, relate to it or understand it... so my favourite pieces are generally simpler. While this doesn't shy away from the more complex pieces, there is a lovely mix of simpler and complex pieces throughout to where all the Piano music was a real joy. The piano is definitely no small bit part in this drama, but neither should it put you off if you're not that fussed either - this drama treats the Piano as it should be, everyone's instrument, whether it's Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or Flight of the Bumble Bee.

The first 15 episodes of this for me are a solid 10, if I could go to 11, I would, I couldn't wait for each new episode to come out and watched it as soon as I could.

Then episode 16 happened.

I won't go any further because spoilers. But... i'll just say that a drama that I was a massive fan of took a nose dive and crashed firmly into the ground in a blazing ball of fire with the ending.

I am so gutted. I've given it a 7 because I loved so much of the previous episodes and I can't face giving it a lower score because of that... but that ending is just...

It's has good plot. They try to makes sense all the plot and clue they create that the writers forget of how to give a room to each character Narrative, make them to find an engaging emotional ride . lack to give real emotional of this narrative what make experience watching this drama boring . Their trauma and their past is just a background. Instead, They try to expand the remaining hours to add unecesary detail in each case and can't figure out how to give room to creating an engaging emotional depth, which left me never engaged to the story. The cast sell this character emotional conflict and make them interesting.

I have to give them credit for giving the audience a change viewing each character point of view. Also, little tonal shift, stay true to the genre , generally well constructed plot, and a good cast. And
I'm happy though Seo Kang Joon choose another solid drama twice in a row and with solid production and a good cast.

For someone who dislikes political dramas I surprisingly enjoyed this a lot! I started the first episode while playing games and just because i had to wait for something and had nothing better to do, but from the middle this drama made me lift my head, lift my eyes from the phone and stare at the screen. I did skip some parts though as sometimes their talks were getting longer and sometimes i just couldn't understand the political stuff. I can't say this will be my favorite drama, but I can honestly say that I enjoyed it.

What I liked:

- Kang han na and her investigation
-President's wife!!!!!! who i loved her. She was strong and independent! I loved how Park Mu Jin always asked for an advice form her.
-President couple. They were amazing very supportive healthy family!!! Such an amazing relationship!!!!!
-seol ji hwan and his hacking (I totally shipped him with han na kyeong)
-Ji Jin Hee. He acted so well as the president. As someone who is totally not suited in politics and onto someone who is a true leader.
- Secretary Cha xD he was funny they way he anxiously and nervously talked was also funny but it added seasoning to the drama, i liked it.
- the third NIS agent. he was nice
-The guy who dealt with press as spokes person. He was so nice and funny lol
-the political ending it was really well-made

What I didn't like:

-a bit long and a bit boring at times.
-too many dying without answers and without meaning...
-Oh Yeon Seok Assemblyman's driver lol
-Tailor Kim's end
-The investigation ending!!! it was so hopeless and seemed like everything was in vain without proper answers.

I haven't seen the american version and people who have seen it say this drama wasn't good in comparison. But I think they tailored the drama onto Korean Government really well! just from the start and throughout the drama it discussed sensitive issues of Korean government and it was really interesting.
I also enjoyed the investigation part a lot!! It was very interesting to follow their path!
For the ending however i would like to divide my score. 10 for political ending and 6 for the terrorism investigation ending.

Plot was really well balanced the the whole concept of the story is very interesting.
Characters were very interesting and diverse. I loved how in the end we didn't have completely bad characters. All were people! I would like to say a tiny bit about that because in drama "watcher"'s review i told that it was not good because it was grey without characters being good or bad. I think, there they didn't pull it off well, while here so made it really well interesting and balanced. They were not grey they were people with lots of colors in them.
I want to give two Honorable mentions to women! well actually three! The political woman President Yun! Wow she did her job so well! Until the end i didn't know is she good or bad, and I still don't, she is just an ambitious woman, amazing! Wife of our newly made fresh president. She was amazing i totally loved how he always asked for advice! and of course Han Na Kyong agent! she was strong and smart. She kept investigating until the end and it was great!

All the actors did soooo well playing their roles.

Overall the only thing this was lacking is a more satisfying conclusion of the whole terror incident.

There's a hidden gem

Alright I'm going to review things that I appreciate in this series. I believe all series have their own pro & cons. It's just this one have some things that I need to emphasize.

1. The sibling relationship is gold
Both the sibling interaction A Fu-He Na or Luo Ge-Luo Ning is precious. They have their own way to protect each other. But sometimes the option is not right. Especially for A Fu-He Na, their story of brotherhood has a dynamic that it makes me touched, mad or sorry on them. Gonna appreciate them.

2. A touching side story
Aside from the demon brothers story, we got to see other story that really touches my heart like the story of Lu Li and his master, also the story of Luo Ning. Can't be helped but feel sorry & appreciate them. Kindness really touch people's heart.

3. Good chemistry of main lead
Honestly I kinda like the chemistry of Lu Li-Liu Shao they can be cute/funny at times. I also like the fact they trust each other. There's misunderstanding but thankfully it's not dragged. This is just personal opinion.

4. Great cooperation of Demon & Immortal
I like how this series has been teaming up between Demon & Immortal way early. It's unlike until the last minute finally we can see justice for demon. I think this series fight the prejudice of demon. Not all demon is bad thankfully they made it clear earlier.

5. Perfectly matched BGM arrangement to suits the mood.

6. It's not dragging for the first 20 eps? That's what I feel since I like fast paced story. The rest eps is fine for me. It's developing just slowly later on.

Lastly, there's some things that need improvement like side characters' acting on some parts but so far it's fine. I don't want to leave comment that can ruins someone first impressions. Have fun watching!

I really cannot understand how the korean writers can write amazing stories but cannot write a god damn proper final. I did not like the ending. At all. The 'solutions' to the problems were found in the most basic way or ignoring their existence overall.

I could not get the reasoning behind Moon Cha Youngs' final decision. Overall, the last episode felt like two episodes were merged into one by cutting parts out, and so it didn't feel cohesive. I liked this drama. The only thing I didn't agree with was her leaving. If it had been because she learned the truth about his mom then I could understand her wanting some time because she might be guilty (which she shouldn't), but her leaving because of what happened with her mom? Nope, I feel like that's when you would want to be closer to the person you love.

I wanted to watch this for both the leads- Jung Kyung Ho as well as Jung Ryeo Won. Initially though, it was hard to continue after a few episodes because there was so much animosity among many characters. It stayed on my 'hold' list for a long time. Until I decided to give one more try.

This time I stuck around till around ten episodes, and that's when it caught on me. It was hard to stop watching from then.

The outline of the story is clear from the beginning. But the narration, the plots and sub plots keep you engrossed.

It's a beautiful story..heart breaking-ly so, told through an awesome cast. There is no comparison to the actors- they fit their roles wonderfully. Especially, the negative roles.. are done to perfection.

There is a love triangle, or rectangle maybe- but between each, we see a different nature of love. The love stories of the two sisters- that are so entwined with the other- couldn't be more different also.

The best part, for me, was that as the story progresses, we see a different side to the characters, and how situations and choices make people what they are. This comes through beautifully.

This drama might take some time to warm up to, but it's definitely worth the ride. I loved it.

Watch Fights Break Sphere for the story

I deliberated a long time over 8.5 or 9.... Finally decided on 8.5 becos the camera work and production quality affected my watching experience quite a lot. If the props and costumes quality was better, or the camera men were more experienced and know to shoot at angles that would not make the props look so fake, this drama would have been a 9.5 or even 10 for me.

This is an idol-led drama, with a really young cast and it was before Wu Lei and Xiao Zhan were such hot property. It didn't have much budget or good camera men so the watching experience feels like I'm at a school stage play at times.... But the story!! The story is GOOD! One of the best wuxia plots in recent times! And the screenwriters are quite respectful of the work, the changes it made from the original did not take too much away from the story. The drama is free from usual tropes, at least I haven't spotted any.... I don't consider the bro-sis romance to be a trope as this is in the original book.

If you like a good wuxia drama without much romance, Fights Break Sphere is a strong contender. Wu Lei fits the ML role well, and he puts in a commandable performance! I'm quite excited to see how he would develop in acting as he mature, like 10 years later? For a 17 yo to put in such a credible performance, he would probably be mind-blowing when he is 28.

And you have members of XNine in supporting roles, including uber hot Xiao Zhan! And a really pretty FL who unfortunately couldn't act well, but that is okay, won't distract you too much. I really like Li Qin's cameo here! She has such good chemistry with Wu Lei, it is unbelievable they are 9 years apart in age. Her CP with Wu Lei is more sizzling than the FL with Wu Lei.... Haha.

This is a fun watch with a very good, engaging story. I do not know if there'd be a season 2, but the ending is good enough for me. There is the donghua version too! You can continue the story in its animated version.
