I don't know why i'm still watching this, i don't think it's great (except for the first 2 episodes) but for some…
Ι enjoyed Sadam when he was wearing a mask at the first 2 episodes, now that i see him without a mask, yes, anything he says his face is that everlasting inexpressive evil-potato "expression" painted all over his face; and he speaks in the same manner and almost anything he says ends with "imnida", it's so formal i want to play guitar with my vocal strings at the cost of not speaking again. I also hate the FX when he gets angry, they could make his eyes a bit more realistic. He should never take this mask off. I really hope the dragon king eats him for breakfast once he wakes up. Yeah, Il Woo seems better in the last episodes and in a manner of speaking, he kind of helps Sung Hee seem better to my eyes as well. And i really want so badly the old night watchman to get into action, which will probably happen as the end of episode 8 notices. I agree, it kind of ain't soooo bad after all and it can't get worse than episodes 3-5, so it has two pathways, either remain stable or go onwards.

Yeah, the acting is a bit bizarre if i want to be a bit polite or something, i'm not quite sure what's the matter, the actors can't live up to the roles? Or the roles (from episode 3 to 6 to be more specific) in the plot (at least during these episodes) were weak enough so even good acting couldn't be helpful? Or the plot was taking its kind of long time in order to cherish a bit the characters before action breaks in? On the 8th episode (even the 7th one) though it started becoming interesting again dare i say. This brought a little fuel in my mind on how things will develop like you said, i'm really curious. As for me, I found episodes 1 and 2 great, from 3 to 6 i was like that, with a dumb smile on my face, on episode 7 something started awakening and now with the 8th one i'm fueled, it could be the fire ghost! Or some dark magic? I really wanna punch Sadam when he says "Juhn-haaaaaa!" (same goes for the second vice minister on Joseon Gunman), but why Sadam? Everytime Hussein comes to my mind!
Is it only me, or tvN wants to "fight" KBS' Tomorrow Cantabile that starts on the same date airing on the same days? Could it be a coincidence? :P It's gonna be a Korean Japanese-remake battle!
I don't know why i'm still watching this, i don't think it's great (except for the first 2 episodes) but for some reason it feels attractive, no matter how contradictive this may sound.
Ι'm on episode 11, the more the episodes flow the more i appreciate Choi Hye Won's personality, she might be a supporting role, yet i appreciate her a lot as the/her story unfolds.
EDIT: I'm on episode 15 and i don't feel the same way for her anymore xD
The first episodes were really good and i loved them very much.. Then the story started to get boring .. Nothing…
Episode 17 that i watched yesterday was pretty intense though, juuuuuuuust in case you feel like continuing in the near or far future. I'm watching this drama slowly and i think a slow pace at Angel Eyes works really well. Just my two cents :D
end of ep. 11 - now that's what i call a kiss!! the chemistry is sizzling!! the second couple on the other hand...well…
I sense as well a downfall is on its way, yet i hope despite the hard time YSY and CSH will have they'll survive and they'll proceed stronger than ever. I feel so sorry for HJ, in a pitiful manner of speaking. Even if CSH was wrong some times, he really tried to save their marriage, yet she's trying hard to give the impression to her surrounding environment that she was betrayed and that CSH cheated on her, he even had a renewal of their wedding rings so as to start anew, she's so pathetic, she can't accept the fact that CSH can BE happy without her with ANOTHER woman, WITHOUT her. for some reason "handsome rich daddy" sounded funny xD
EDIT: I'm on episode 15 and i don't feel the same way for her anymore xD
