Title Bridal Mask
ARGH! Could someone please remove the related contend "Blood of the dragon peril"? Aside frome the Genre both have nothing to do with each other. If this should be recommend because of the genre, then put it down to the recommendations. This always irritates me when I come here.

Title The Great Doctor Spoiler
Can someone please explain me, how the heck Choi young was able to fight 20 soldiers at once but now he has trouble…
Wooow that's a great conclusion, now it doesn't sound that stupid anymore. But you know, It would have been really great, if they explained that in the drama somehow, instead of me making assumptions and don't getting a thing XD

Thank you for your praise. I believe that dramas have a educational site, and while I am already watching, why shouldn't I find out about the background of a drama (when I have to wait anyway for a week) XD. I would feel like I don't get what's happening in the drama if I don't.
But I am happy if I can share my resarch information and someone found it useful.

Good drama until the end. The ending sucked... It was built up to be climatic and then it turned out to be anti…
I believe the problem with the end lies in the timline. The japanese reigned over korea till 1945 and the story plays around the 1930. The only reason, why korea was freed was because of japan losing the war because of the US. So what should they have done with the endig. They portrayed the rebels that tried to break away from japan. But history says they weren't the mainpoint. I had imagined an end after 1945 while watching, but this also wouldn't felt satisfaying. So the camee up with the other idea portrayed and I think it suits the drama

Ranked #1???? That just cause me to go lower my rating of this drama. Give me a break. It is ok, but it isn't…
The great thing about the rating is, that you as one person, doesn't have have that much influence for it. So there were a lot ppl here giving happily a 10 or a 9 whithout knowing what the others did. I did not think about the Rank, wile I rated, just about the comparsion with my damas on the list. And yes I really thought "reply is a teenage drama, I can't give it a ten. Did it really deserve it?" But then I couldn't find any flaws in this drama. There was nothing annoying, It was just so easy to wach and really really fun. I had to give it a 10 in comparsion to my other dramas on the list. Maybe there were others like me. But to get the highest ranked drama, I never thought this would happen.

BOF as the best one? I'm sorry, but...are you serious? -_-
You know i got my friend to watch dramas. And started with boys before flowers (best drama for girls to get hooked and easy understandlbe). She got so crazy about it, that she still hums the music box meldoy. Even after three months. She said it just pops up in her head, she can't do anything about it. I think the soundtrack is just daaaamn addicting and has catchy songs.

Gnaaah.... This drama had everything. A great story, great actors, nice music, and then they ruined it because they wanted to have 20 Episodes. 16 would really have been enough. There were so many scenes which they could have cut out, which streched the drama unnecesserily. It really gets boring, always waiting that the story moves on. -.-
But other then that I really like the drama.

I think it was a great Idea to write a bigger review for gaksital to encourage more people to watch it. Though…
I thought about that, too. But i have a really hard time with the language barrier, since I am not a native speaker. Also the research would take a lot of time. So I don't know if i can do this. Let's see, I think gaksital is great enough to invest more time to think, promote and write about it again and again.

Yeah, I know, and I really appreciate your effort. I also never wanted to question that. If you somehow felt like this I apologize, it really wasn't my intention.
But since gaksital aired, I was always thinking someone should really write something about the backround of the drama, because for me that's what has made the drama even more fascinating. And then the article page was launched on mdl and I really wished now someone would take up this topic. As i saw your article I was thrilled to read it and my hopes got high. That's why I wrote I was a little bit disappointed.
Nonetheless I believe you reached your goal, and you wrote a good review which ppl could connect to.

TT.TT 60 Episodes. I love the actors but really? 60 Eps? This will be really really hard if it isn't good
oh, why not, just 120 episodes *rolling eyes* somehow I know what you mean. I wonder if koreans come home everyday and watch every episode...

... writing about the possibilties of war between the two countries. And this is what makes this drama completly crazy and awsome at the same time. You could see shunji turning into a monster, even though he never wanted to. For me growing up in Germany, where I was and always will be confronted with the third Reich. This was a piece of art, seeing it the other way around. Koreans who where still fighting and fighting like the résistance in france. I believe japan did a lot more crueler things than were portrayed in the drama, but you feel it, leading to creeps all over your body while watching. It's like the koreans threw all their lingering anger in the face of japan, telling them not to disclose their history and start to tell the truth. This drama is beyond fangirling for me, this is a lecture about being human, hope and the pride of a country

I think it was a great Idea to write a bigger review for gaksital to encourage more people to watch it. Though I was a little bit disappointed about your article. For me bridal mask was a piece of art, with every single scene planned out perfectly and I really believe it had a big political impact in Korea. I believe to air this drama really took a lot of courage for koreans. Aside from this it portrayed a state totally immersed in fascism and nationalism. There wasn't anything like that ever before in the history of kdramas (as far as I know). And if you follow korean news a little bit, you will know that exactly at that time when the episodes aired about the comfort woman, the korean president got in argument about this topic with the japanese goverment. This argument reached so far, that both sides hardly talk to each other anymore, which led to articles in newspapers....
