Found this by accident and was pleasantly surprised. Like the previous comment it's just an easy going movie with a predictable plot, but was fun.

In Short this was amazing. Recommended. However I'd say be prepared for heart wrenching moments from a story based on true events. Gives you a peak to an important event in Korean history.

This made me think that in spite of the wave of "fake news" and misreporting, the new digital age of media and the internet have really changed how news are transmitted and spread. Looking at the struggle of one person being able to report vs. people having the ability to document as well and broadcast. At the same time, this reminded me of the conflicts and wars many nations are facing today. Decades later we're still seeing people are killed for and/or are repressed by governments for believing in an idea or speaking their minds. Instead of peaceful talks/negotiations you see overkill and mass cleansing. It's so sad many moments in the movie reminded me of what's happening in other countries like Syria and Yemen. My prayers goes out to those suffering.

Title A Taxi Driver Spoiler
What part?
It's the German reporter who died in 2016. The message like you said is him looking for the taxi driver. He'd be happy to see him. He hoped the video message would help find the driver. If he meets him again he would get in his taxi to see Seoul. Unfortunately the reporter died before without ever meeting him.

OMG same The last scene killed me. I held in the tears but that scene was just too much. I taught it was over…
A total overkill :/

This was decent, but I just don't understand why chinese wuxia always have very miserable and ill-fated main characters.

The saving grace of this drama was the acting (especially Ma Ke) and the cinematography . The storyline was fragmented and it overall felt unbalanced.

Man I was fine til that little bit at the end and I started tearing up T.T
This was good, thrilling, and heartbreaking. The chain of events and how things unfolded was well done.
Seeing things from his perspective from the beginning makes you sympathize with him and understand him. Ahhh I feel so sad.

This hit me deep. Few issues here and there but this was a wonderful movie. Such a big cast for Woo jin, but I think everyone delivered the character well, props to them and the director.

I just finished ep1 and man it was twisted!
DON'T read below SPOILERS!!!!!!!! If you haven't watched ep1, you'll lose the mystery by reading this!!!
You've been warned!!!!

However, before the last reveal in the ep why didn't they do a blood test for the living sister? wouldn't that show if she has Ca or not, compare to the medical records and you've proven she's the younger. Of course if that had happened then they would've been wrong since the mix from the beginning.

Title Brain Man Spoiler
This was quite interesting to say the least. I think the essence of the movie was great and thought evoking, other aspects of it not so much. Acting wise everyone did a wonderful job. Like I said what this movie presents in terms of what's right/wrong and the psychology of humans is the takeaway food for thought.

I had an inkling he would do the same thing when he's free again. That made me think, "then there's no hope for some people?" "How do you know who's intentions are real?" That chilling feeling you get when she failed in what she thought was her accomplishment. Also the fact her mother was willing to talk (not knowing who it would be with) after the closure she got. What Brain Man did was wrong by law, but if he hadn't, then we'd never know of the "reformed" getting back at it. I found myself hoping he'd kill her, only to realize what I'm hoping for, "am I a bad person for wanting that?", "how do we get justice then?". Then that detective did the deed and went overboard that I felt scared, "now what? was what he did bad or justice?"
Too many questions, and frankly the answers are difficult and might not have a clean cut right or wrong.

Main point? watch it if you're into psychology and want to have a philosophical discussion after.

I rated this high but I can't justify it. I don't really know what to say about it. It started out great and somehow the pace was off. It's like watching a really really long movie. The ending was weird, the sudden cut to the happy couple threw me off. I enjoyed different parts and aspects of the drama including the characters. Also those cute drawings are <3. BUT there is something imbalanced/incomplete about it.

Does anyone know if in the novel he suffers from the same dizziness episodes?
