I'm a big fan of this kind of stories. I probably watched all Dramas linked to this kind of stories. Japanses are the best for that !!
To be honest, I loved both. I watched Majo no Junken long time ago so I don't remember the details but the story was more mature and less shocking than Chugaksei.

Personaly, I think it's because in Chugaksei the OTP was younger.
But, younger doesn't mean less good. Kasumi and Kenshi were very good. I think they choose Kenshi because he looks like more then 14 years old.
Physicaly he looks like a grown up teeneager (18-20) but the thinks and play like a 14 years old boy maybe that's why people doesn't really like the caracter.
The choice was made probbably because they didnt want to shock Japanese's opinion... that's why Kasumi was choose also, she looks very young for her age !!
Btw it's a fail because the Drama was critized by Japaneses. Chugaksei was more shocking because it's the first time that the partner was in middle school.
In Majo no Juken he was in High School, still forbiden but more understandable.

Both of them was interessting. I like this kind of Drama because behind the forbiden love, the stories try to make us a part of the Drama. Why ? Because we are all someone's mother, sister, friend, parent... and what you can do if you have the same situation ?
I'm an adulte, I I know that life is not a Drama but when it come to "fall in love" everything is possible.

8,5/10 => For me Chugaksei win because the storie was more sensitive so more hard to play for 2 young actors.
And, I'm still strungling with the love storie of the OTP. Still 50% agree with and 50% against !!
8/10 Majo no Juken was more mature, more romantique and the actors's play was better. At the end, I was 100% agree with the OTP !!

I think that people are too harsh with this drama.

This Drama is really good.. for now !
Still 36 episodes forthcoming.
But, if they keep this dynamism, that will be great !

I know that everyone is tired by this kind of plot. You know, the fat girl without any success or attention who become beautiful and attractive after she lost weight.
But, for me It's still interesting if the actors are good and have a good chemistry.
And here, Joo Eun is just overweight, she forgot to take care of herself.
Don't forget, It's just a drama, a TV serie to have fun.
You're right, It's not good to spread this image of woman body but, unfortunately the reality is like that, especially in Korea.
Just, keep in your mind: It's just a drama, be skinny doesn't mean be pretty and healthy and you gonna enjoy this drama :)
