The general story is the same but it was done completely different. They both had aspects that I liked and disliked but I preferred the style of My Amazing Boyfriend better. Essentially if you liked one you should like the other.

Tiffany Tang Yang is the main female character in this drama as well. She's fun and kindhearted but circumstances cause her to become guarded. Hawick Lau is the male lead in the drama as well and okays his role very well!

Both have strong themes of romance and the lead boy is lead by a loss of a parent. However Blue Spring Ride is more romance based, whereas Orange is more sci-fi and friendship based.

Both are Korean drama that focuses on the story involving the heroine's bullying and alienation in school. They both transfer to prodigious schools due to circumstances as the drama starts.

There are love interests, family, and friendship that support the heroine emotionally here and there, so the heroine is not completely alone during her school life.
