This is a nice drama. If the viewer is looking for a drama with action and strategy, this one will be satisfying, but the romance was marred with manipulation and the leading lady would constantly fall victim of her own “goodness” and remained separated from the leading man in order to “save” him. This dynamic weaken the romantic storyline that could’ve been nice only if their love hiatus didn’t last all the way to the end of the last episode to give the viewer a nice but insipid ending. The rest of the story is the usual palace antics and some really good supporting actors; worth mentioning is Wayne Lai as the dynamic chameleon personality Lang Kun and his beloved, Cao Xi Wen as Empress Zheng Shu Jun. One Fine Spring Day

I often have a sneaking suspicion of Korean romantic dramas because I'm always expecting someone to die. As a result I didn't think I'd like this movie, but I did. We have all experienced the story before: boy meets girl, they fall in love ... maybe one more so than the other. Nothing special. What made it good was Yoo Ji Tae. He did a really good job of making me empathize with his character. I felt his struggle, so much so that I wanted to reach into the movie and give him a hug. Haha.
The supporting cast, esp the hero's family, were pretty good too. Grandma gave one of the best piece of advice about women I've heard in a long time.
I also loved the scenery in this movie. Due to the nature of our hero's job Korea's natural beauty was very much emphasized here. The more I watch K-movies the more fascinated I become with its culture, its food and its people. My mind's now made up: the next vacation will be to South Korea.
Finally, the ending of One Fine Spring Day was very appropriate. Life is rife with tough decisions, but we gotta make 'em and rock on.

How to die on a zombie apocalypse
READ THIS JUST IF YOU WATCHED THE MOVIE FIRST. THERE ARE SPOILERS... AHEAD.This is a complete and detailed tutorial on how to die while being chased by zombies.
I want to think this is a parody cause I can´t take it serious.
And just to be clear, there is not tag of comedy nor parody on the description.
The genres are "Horror, supernatural" and the tags are "Zombies, Suspense" currently to this date (16/01/2023).
So...
Welcome to the apocalypse.
Steps to follow.
0-Make sure you´re alive.
1-You MUST lack common sense.
2-First leave all doors open and give your back to them.
3-Lure the zombies and leave while they are still gathering so you will find some on your way.
4-Don´t go to the upper floor, there is safe come on, you need some adrenaline.
5-When you find a safe place make sure to take your time and be the hero so you can be fresh meet for them.
6-And last but not less important, when you finaly find your way out, leave it open so your friends can joing the world.
Be ready to die.
This movie has not budget and that´s for sure.
From second 1 it´s clear there was not a lot of money involved in the making of this movie, why?
Here is why:
-The makeup was horrible simple.
-The actor where the worst for this job (zombie actors I mean).
-The camera work was bad too.
This movie is comedy (a bad one) and the worst part is that I think it takes itself serious.

Intense crime case storytelling
I even became Youku membership in order to watch this ahead of time. You just cannot stop once you start. The drama tells a story about a police officer (Luo Jian) and a Law student in his final year (Zhuang Wen Jie) in their effort in catch crime syndicate behind lots of ancient relic theft. Every episode is full of suspense since each case is linked with each other. Everything just come into a circle in the very end.
The character development, especially for Zhuang Wen Jie is very nicely done. He lost his parents early in his childhood and bullied in school because his father was a thief. How he survive until adulthood with a somewhat sane mental is already a very high achievement. Thus, I am very much understand why Wang Jun Kai portrayed this character as someone who seems indifferent and emotionless. With that kind of growing up environment, indifferent will be a kind of defense mechanism. Only, because of Wang Jun Kai inexperience, he failed to give more layers to Zhuang Wen Jie indifference. But, the acting can still be considered good enough.
The main character, Luo Jian, played by Zhang Yi is also very heartwarming. I like seeing how he is so protective toward Zhuang Wen Jie. With more episode going in, we will see his past deeper and deeper. Zhang Yi acting is great here. I will certainly take not of this actor in the future.
The ending is great! That smile in the end by Zhuang Wen Jie .... I don't think he ever smile in all previous episodes, making the last smile somewhat more meaningful. I hope we will get season 2 somehow since the ending just hinting more mystery.

The Most Amazing Drama I Have Ever Had The Honour of Watching
This is the most amazing drama I have ever seen in my life. The script was so magnificent, intelligent and well written that it totally took my breath away. I really appreciated the bulletproof script where there is no room for plot holes or questionable plotlines. Everything flows smoothly and every single scene happens for a reason. Just when you question one plot, it addresses it in the next episodes and you finally understand all the smiles, smirks, nods, ambiguous conversations, or even focused items -- everything comes together like a perfect puzzle in the end.The last scenes of last episode totally make me bawl like a baby especially the reminiscence scenes of Prince Jing & Princess Nihuang. I mean, we all aware that Lin Shu's death is inevitable since we know he is dying since episode 1 but it still evoke your feelings greatly to the depth of your heart. And I'm actually amazed with the writing as at the end, not only Lin Shu got his dying wish which is to restore the Chiyan's Army name but he also managed to do thing for himself finally! -- not for Chiyan army or his father or Prince Qi but for himself, which is to let him die as Lin Shu, doing things that he most loved and proud of. The writer wants to point out that despite it is a sad ending, it wasn't sad after all since he managed to do what he wants at last and live a fulfilled life despite how short it is. The writer wanted to tell us that its not a matter how long you live your life, but how you wished to live it. Lin Shu was adored by everyone -- even those who is not in his generation or after he has long gone because of the legacy that he left behind.
Hu Ge is probably the best Chinese actor that I have ever has the honour of watching. He mastered the art of subtle acting. His expressions was simple yet very effective that pierced right through your heart. Lin Shu is very charismatic despite being fragile and weak -- a combination that is rare to find.
There's actually an alternate ending that was originally aired in 2015 by the production team where they show Lin Shu survives and spent his days with Lin Chen & Fei Liu at Langya Hall. But they decided to cut that scene in the official ending as it served and suited the drama's theme better. TBH, both endings are fine with me since it shows that Lin Shu is happy and contented. :D
What a great drama! The saddest thing about this whole thing at the end is that I may never found another good drama as extraordinary as this. I learned a lot of manipulation tricks (lol) and the mind games on how to read people. When a drama is both educational and engaging while entertaining at the same time, you know it’s a winner! 10/10 - Perfect all the way through from writing, acting, directing and cinematography! A gem that you may only find once in a lifetime.

Cute, Romantic and A Relationship completely Bingeworthy
I honestly quite liked this series. The ML is known for his short dramas and I really enjoyed watching him here too. This was my first drama of the FL and I really liked her in this drama. This was a very good mini romance drama I've seen for a while. People might comment on the editing and the chemistry but personally I had no issues with the drama. Nothing out of the ordinary was there in the storyline since I have seen many dramas already but still this one made me feel good watching it. For me, the chemistry was really good between the leads. The start of the drama was a great romcom which gradually progressed where the leads had to solve the problems they faced. What I really enjoyed was the bond shown between the leads and the way the FL kept denying her feelings. Also even after problems arose, the two of them were never apart. They both trusted each other and got through the problems faced. The visuals of both the leads are very attractive and their romantic scenes were worth the watch for me. I would really recommend this drama if you are looking for a mini drama with cute, attractive and understanding leads with good chemistry. I personally like dramas where there is no separation of the leads and they go through everything together. This is the one for you if you are looking for the same. One thing I really felt pointing out would be that I found the antagonist to be pretty dumb and of no use in a way. I know it might be the story but it felt his role didn't matter a lot. He should've been a little more active in the series in doing his job and also being successful in creating proper difficulties for the leads.
All in all I found it to be a good watch and would really recommend it for people looking for sweet contract marriage dramas.
P.S. Feel free to tag me or message me if you want spoilers as I tend to avoid giving spoilers in my reviews.

The Gangster who chose to win Peach's heart sincerely but as dramatically as possible!
GMMTV has always given us over-the-top romcoms, but it was never perfect until Me and Thee happened. It's the perfect blend of comedy and romance which leaves no choice but to love it wholeheartedly from the start till the end.The storyline is simple; a gangster falls in love with a photographer, Peach, who had never thought of falling in love with a man before. Till this point, it seems like a conventional lovestory, but it takes a different turn when the gangster, Thee, is your not-so-serious guy who can't take "No" for an answer. So Peach is out there questioning his life and what the hell the gangster wants from him. And it's a hilarious and heartwarming journey of two people with different upbringings and morals crossing their paths while trying to figure out their own heart.
The acting of Pond, Phuwin and Est is simply phenomenal! They delivered something I'd never imagined liking. Pond's over-the-top, exaggerated expressions, dramatic mood swings and dialogues made it so entertaining that one cannot help but fall in love with his hilarious charismatic persona. Will his character be on the wall of the most memorable character of the year or more like a living meme? Lol! On the other hand, Phuwin is us, the audience. He is THE MOST ORDINARY, SANEST PERSON YOU HAVE EVER MET! While watching this series, we sometimes can't help but question how ridiculous it is or sounds and Phuwin was right there, representing, questioning, judging every single ridiculous thing that doesn't fit the normal parameters for us. His character was so well written and acted that I felt like he wasn't really acting, he was just being himself the whole time. That's the charm of him I loved the most. While everything was going overly dramatically, Mok (Est) was just there, as Thee's bodyguard/friend, judging him and himself that he didn't get paid enough to tolerate his day-to-day ridiculous nonsensical wishes. It was so unserious and funny. I adored them all! Except PerthSanta storyline, it was unnecessary and poorly done. It was so toxic and nonsensical that their patch up didn't make sense for all the troubles they've through. Totally skippable! But WilliamEst hits different, their chemistry speaks louder even if they're just looking at eachother. They're the icing on the cake, yumm!
The cinematography was beautiful, the OST was upbeat, suited the ambience and their storyline perfectly. One thing I want to mention, it's the handpan instrument, the thing Thee called the "turtle shell thing". It was my first time discovering that instrument and I think it was love at first sight. Now I just can't stop listening to handpan music. It's so calming and gentle that it feels like a musical hug to my senses. I'll always be grateful for all the magical exposure this series gave me.
This is Pond and Phuwin's fourth work together. We've seen them work in Fish Upon the Sky, Never Let Me Go and We Are. Personally, I've never seen any of their work other than Never Let Me Go, and it failed to entertain me from an acting and storyline perspective. I never felt the urge to get interested in this CP because, for me, it seemed to be lacking in some ways. But this time it's different. Me and Thee is the first script which let them bloom into their best version of themselves by working on their facial expressions and acting skills. As they leaned fully into their comedic instinct, the result is one of the most entertaining BL premieres the studio has delivered in 2025.
Me and Thee is that gangster romance drama where you can put yourself in the Peach's character and see this whole storyline from his perspective. Why Peach? Because it has got those cinematic emotions and feelings written all over the series. Sometimes it's ridiculously hilarious, sometimes the characters get you swooning all over again, and sometimes you can't help but get emotional. It's a wholesome package for a bingeworthy drama.
Overall, it's a must-watch drama for any BL fan out there. You just cannot skip this one. It's a heartwarmingly wholesome series which I highly recommend curing your wrecked, tired and overworked heart. Just go for it!

Mo Xiang Wan is like the Margaret Thatcher of showbiz, a shrewd agent - talent spotter, talent developer, artist manager, babysitter, problem solver. All in one. A professional with a conduct and no space for love in her life except for her talents. Being considered 'the agent' brings a lot of perks i.e. leading roles offers for her artists, top pick in endorsements... but also a lot of envy in her two arch-rivals: Judy and Zhu He. Judy wants her job and Zhu He, Yu Jiang's wife, shareholder of Qi Li Culture fully backs her, fermenting a volcanic hate for Mo Xiang Wan, her husband's protege.
She raised from the ashes to be successful only to be thrown to the wolves and being forced to rise again amongst them. The thing is people evolve and mature and when the world comes crumbling down, a high conscience means peace of mind and moving on. Qi Li Culture enabled Mo Xiang Wan to succeed, Judy and Zhu He plotted to bring her down but she would not stay down, rising again until the time where Qi Li Culture no longer felt like home and then it was time to part ways and forge a new path.
Although Godfrey Gao & Wang Zi Yi are listed as having main roles in the drama, the only main role belongs to Qin Lan as all other characters are the ones she influences and interacts with and share a similar screen time around Mo Xiang Wan who drives the story - she is the story.
We are all alone portrays love in showbiz; filming scheduling; filming conflict; fan wars; fan reactions and actions and how they make and break an artist; backstabbing; contract disputes; script changes; image management and damage control; love and one of the most contemporary illnesses that exist in the world: depression, here celebrity depression which is often masked with anti-depressions or painkillers taken to ease the mental pain reflected in the body due to sadness or other issues like loss of fans for example, although here in the drama is love sickness. How many young celebrities have suffered from depression? Many but how many have spoken openly about battling it? A smaller number.
Beauty and money do not necessarily equal happiness. They equal the value others attribute to it and that can cause a lot of pressure as beauty fades and money slips through the fingers when artists are no longer popular and have to work three times harder to get a certain level of popularity back. Showbiz is ruthless. We are all alone shows exactly how much.
The story has a regular pace which might appear slow at times but it's well executed and realistic. Here that's more important than speed. The themes it approaches are contemporary and modern, portraying the reality of showbiz, rather than a lovey-dovey romantic story fairy-tale set in Shanghai's entertainment industry which is brilliant and fresh.
For all of the above, we are all alone merits an overall rating of 10 out of 10.

Cuteness overload!It's Simple :
Super Duper Adorable, Cute & Sweet, Warm, Fun, Weird, Light-Hearted.
Off-course imaginable only in a cute manga setting,
..Although..the female lead; her simple hearted foolishness withdraws us from thinking seriously about stuff, which we probably should have, she is a simple girl who just does what her heart tells her to do.
The male lead is too noble to comment on, he is like a Buddha out of a manga Hero, ..should I say Manga Buddha?!(no offense intended) hmmm ..he is too young & innocent, brave, wise, skilled, disciplined, respected, good hearted, beautiful (yes beautiful!), and handsome yet strong willed; all around Hero and Crush Worthy .. off-course totally drool worthy as well but oh, he is too young :D Yap ! he is Perfect, so we have to forgive our simple minded heroine for all her falling head over heals can't stay away from him attitude! <3
......the criticisms for the story are simply wiped out in my mind by its sheer straightforward foolish simplicity and all encompassing hilarious weirdness (characteristic of Jdorama manga adaptations I have watched previously) which somehow makes it refreshing and oh so sweet..weird, foolish, sweet ...and totally adorable. its not possible to talk more about this without going into some plot details so I will skip all that.
Spoiler.. ............Its as if the writer is saying; 'keeping it simple , the parents simply are that understanding and letting go', not going into their own pain and concerns, off-course with a son that genius, anything is possible in the future, right!! (I suppose they thought like that?! .......there! had to get that out of my system haha)
This is NOT a serious drama though, so let go off "we wouldn't actually necessarily support this in this way in real life. " when going ahead to watch this, but you probably won't regret having done that.
Only one thing remains at last; The chemistry of both the cutesy leads, is 'Cute & Adorable', yet Warm, Sweet ..heartwarming and pulls you in, cheering for them hard, despite everything, even intense in a way..something that is very sweet about it, is also very intense.
The setting is..quite creative & fresh, it looks like its been done before but its cool & different in a way. Its is actually a pretty creative storyline, in its light heartedness.
Spoiler_ish.........Not only does she herself falls in love in a decisive yet uncomplicated way in an instant, She pulls his heart in and makes it all mush for her, before he knows what hit him, simply by her sincere innocent unconditional love for him. not to mention he is totally intrigued by her before even realizing who or what she is.
One track mind simple sweet love and romance are centre-points of this, in a weird foolish Warm way. Its just fun, cute and lovable. "Love can conquer all" in a simple, creative, light-hearted way.
Loved It!
Did I say Super Duper Adorable, Cute & Sweet enough?!! Yap!
probably..no, definitely gonna re-watch again when subs for last few episodes come up
(I had to edit this twice, after loosing what I wrote earlier, so, apologies if its repetitive or not to the point appropriately )Also, thanks to MyDramaList Article "Love is the air, Jdrama style" that recommended this, I would probably have missed this if not for that

I have to agree that way the story was presented to us was a bit messy. They started off with a murder of a young child's mother to a traffic violation case to a harming of police officer on-duty, to misuse of the firearm by a police officer to organ trafficking to bribery ledger involving higher-ups of public officials and a conglomerate chairman, to an illegal drug distribution network involving corrupt officers and finally the implied future investigation of powerful politicians and business people. However, this drama is in no way procedural, and the sub crime-cases are only introduced to question the true morality of some characters or bring in new characters to add to the bigger investigation trails. In this way, the transition of one case to another is quite smooth, but I see some real problems with the execution, or more precisely the way the dialogues were written to help the viewers connect the threads along their investigation trails. E.g. there are multiple instances in the show where it is not very clear how Do Chi Gwang makes the investigative deduction to implicate the higher-ups in some cases. As I observe this, the problem here does not necessarily lie in the way the whole puzzle is brought together to create a cohesive story, rather the way small details and threads are supposedly connected (or rather, told) to reduce plot holes.
My point here is that a corruption-investigation series is bound to be heavily character-centric which may explain why some people are voicing dissatisfaction over the (unnecessarily) convoluted way of the story being told. Instead, I believe making it confusing and going round in circles is likely the most plausible way to tell a story of this genre in a way that makes it episodically engaging. Thus the path the writers took should not be deemed unnecessary, rather a logical one.
Other than the weakness in the way small threads are being somewhat loosely connected to one another, I do find that the pacing of this drama is A REAL PROBLEM. I watched this drama in parts initially only for Seo Kang Joon, and only managed to finish this in entirety after working out a way to increase the playback speed, LOL. So if you have been looking for that magic tool, install Video Speed Controller on your Google Chrome extension. You're welcome.
Aside from this, I do have to say that I am very invested in all the lead characters in the show. I came here mainly for Seo Kang Joon and Kim Hyun Joo, and must say they totally nailed their characters! Kim Young Goon is a tortured character who's also a bit naive but is plain good-natured. It's amazing to see his portrayal of emotional breakdowns and rage when facing the confusion of not being able to trust anyone around him, most especially his own father. Han Tae Joo's character is a selfish one, who only cares about achieving her goals and is always ready to switch sides as long as the choices she makes brings her closer to goal for revenge. Jo Soo Yeon and Hong Jae Shik are interesting characters to look for as well, and they really do add intricate nuances to an otherwise a very dry, corruption investigation series. Do Chi Gwang is the anti-hero in this drama, which is an interesting deviation from Hwang Shi Mok in Stranger who is a straight arrow and only pursues justice and upholds integrity in his choices. Jang Hae Ryong and Deputy Commissioner Park were also the interesting ones, and I am satisfied with the plot twists they gave us in the final two episodes. In fact, compared to Stranger, I am much more invested in the most recurring characters in this drama because the way all these complex characters are written is just exceptional, and is truly the biggest strength/stand-out of this drama for me.
They also concluded this drama nicely while also hinting away at the possibility of a second season. In fact, I am eagerly waiting for the day it comes, because the upgrade to the investigation trail this time would be to investigate corrupt politicians, business people and high-ranked public officials which would make it even more interesting, like the anticipation that builds for Stranger 2. When that happens, I do hope that the writer/director managed to secure the same lead casts because they have successfully built the momentum and the right anticipation for this first season, and the way the story was written is so expendable that it's only up to the writer's skills to give that to us.
If not for some of the missed executions, MDL rating for this drama should be as high as Stranger. Enjoy your watch!
Bonus: My ranking of corruption-investigation or psychological thriller series:
1. Doctor Prisoner (10)
2. Confession (9.5)
3. WATCHER (9.0)
4. Stranger (8.5)
5. Trap (8.0)

I love the actors., their characters were not incredible original, but well done, the acting was good, and the story wasn't something I'd personally really watched before (I guess the closest would be Shut Up! Flower Boy Band?). I liked all these things and watched this obsessively for a bit this summer. However, I dropped it.
The reason for this was simply that I couldn't stand the villains. Usually the villainous characters are annoying or unpleasant, but I'm fine. These villains were just so endlessly conniving and I got so incredibly angry at the constant obstacles they posed to the main characters that I honestly couldn't stand another second and stopped watching in the middle of an episode.
Don't make this stop you from watching the drama; it's a really pleasant drama overall with a very nice cast and set of characters. Most people could probably deal with this better than I can. I just sympathize way too strongly with fictional characters and their problems make me physically uncomfortable. I'd still like to pick this back up some day, but considering I'm still so fired up such a long while later, I'll probably wait a bit longer.

What would you do to get and stay famous?
Honestly, I think this was the first drama that I was not able to actually guess the twists. It does such a great job of keeping you on your toes and hanging onto every word Ah-Ri says. This is about the world of celebrities and influencers and the things they do and hide behind what we see through the screen. They do such a great job at really capturing what it's like to use social media and how things come and go quick. I really loved the effects with all the social media and comments. It was really pleasing and not done in a cheesy, just a screenshot way.
The story is amazing and really has you guessing until the very last episode. I wish that we could have gotten a few more details with little things like Ah-Ri's backstory and less of Jun-Kyung and Shi-Hyun's. It honestly didn't really fit into the plot that well, nor did I really care for it. The twists and turns in this are small, but I couldn't guess them at all. I think they did a really good job of having the account owner super secret until the moment it's actually revealed. Even when it was, my jaw dropped because I would've never been able to guess. I was a bit sad with how everything ended so quickly and wish we could've gotten more of the happier resolution after.
The romance in this drama is small, but the few scenes you do get are really good. I was rooting for Ah-Ri and Jun-Kyung so hard. You can never go wrong with enemies (on one side?) to lovers.
I really love the social commentary this drama gave on how everyone views celebrities/influencers and how we are the ones who old them above ourselves. I also loved the commentary on how one person can really bring you to your lowest with just their words. It really gets you thinking about everything you see on social media as well.. is it really all real? Are the people real and genuine? Why do we care and cheer on random people we will never know?
Just a great and easy watch if you're looking for a mystery/thriller to give you some entertainment for a short time. The episodes are only 45 minutes each, so it's a great binge show.

Didn't Work For Me
I didn’t like this, unfortunately. It just didn’t work for me. All it really had going for it was the great acting, some nice visuals, and solid chemistry between the leads. That’s it. The plot and story were just bad. I found myself skimming through a lot of it, to be honest. The first episode was intriguing and gave me some hope, I was actually looking forward to the next one. But it just went downhill from there. Each episode got worse plot-wise. I don’t mind men crying (actually, I like it), but I do mind the main lead going through some new trauma every single episode, over literally nothing, and then the issue just gets dropped like it never happened, just to make space for the next. It got tiring. I considered dropping this way too many times but stuck around purely for the leads.
And seriously, if your NC scene is the best scene, that’s not a good sign.
Speaking of, the way this show handled sexual assault was disgusting. It was used as a plot device and then brushed off like it was just cheating??? No. That’s not cheating — it’s rape. Whether they end up sleeping together or not doesn’t change that. And of course, like always, the predator faces zero consequences. The whole Johnny arc made me so mad I literally dropped the show when it was airing. I only came back a month later because everyone kept calling it a masterpiece. (and too many smart boom videos on my fyp)
Also, sorry but… I found Jin a bit creepy too.
So yeah, all I have to say is: the plot was TRASH.
But, credit where it’s due: the acting, especially Boom was great. The leads had really good chemistry, like they genuinely fit. The visuals and cinematography were mostly nice. Some of the outfits were nice.
And Naru was an absolute cutie. I just had to say it.
