All in all, it was a very enjoyable show, it kept me entertained and I loved the final lineup! Now, brb, gonna binge-watch Wanna One's variety shows...

Now, I'm a big fan of cooking shows, so naturally I had semi-high expectations for the food aspect of this. Thankfully, I wasn't disappointed. The kitchen and overall cooking scenes were very well done and they left me hungry every time. It's interesting to see them working together in a kitchen and getting to see just how every little thing is made. Especially when they work on improving or creating new dishes.
Acting wise, I'd say that it's very well done. Definitely above average. The music is also nice, featuring a lot of soft, but typically cheery classical music in the background.
All in all, I'd say it's a very nice, non-hectic drama that's enjoyable in all aspects. I certainly have no complaints to make.

Chu Qiao is one of my favorite female protagonists I’ve seen in a cdrama. She’s smart, she’s loyal, she’s determined, and she’s a total badass. The growth she undergoes from being a slave just trying to stay alive to super skilled fighter able to take revenge on her enemies is great. She has her own goals and she will not be swayed from the path she has decided to take. I love that while the guys will sometimes come and rescue her from whatever predicament she’s in, she has pretty much handled it already (taken down 9 of 10 bad guys, cleverly talked her way out of a situation, etc) so they are just basically helping her wrap things up lol. Her character growth throughout the entire show is so interesting and fun to watch.
I seem to be in the minority in that I liked Yan Xun wayyyy more than Yuwen Yue. Yuwen Yue was fine, but kinda boring. I gave zero craps about his Heavenly Spies or wtf he was up to. He undergoes some character growth which is great but also... idk I just never really cared. Yan Xun on the other hand changes a lot and I found him and his story so compelling. I also found his and Chu Qiao’s relationship way more interesting. The things they experience together, how that brings them together, and how their relationship changes as they themselves change is great to watch.
I’m also possibly in the minority of liking the cliffhanger ending. I can see how it would be infuriating for someone who was watching the show while it was airing. But I will admit that the show suffers from some pacing issues and gets dragged down by subplots that don’t end up being important or even get resolved. That’s what frustrated me towards the end; not the actual ending, but how I felt like I was dragging myself through the last 10 episodes. I was truly invested in how it was going to end and what would happen to the characters. But because there are all these subplots and side characters, it was annoying to sit through the stuff I didn’t find interesting to get to the actual plot and conflicts that I cared about. They also low key seemed to forget about a few important plot points and just threw them in at the end.
The last episodes were also weird in that there was so much use of green screens. I generally try to not judge a show based on technical stuff but it was so distracting that it took away from the very serious and important stuff was occurring in those scenes. I’m sure there was some reason irl that they needed to reshoot those scenes or something.
Tl;dr this show has a very solid plot, an amazing female protagonist and other good characters, but does get bogged down towards the end.

Masterpiece is an understatement for this work of art
I Told Sunset About You truly is a gem to behold. It's a phenomenal work of art that deserves all the praise it receives and more. The themes are realistic, the portrayals are realistic, with amazing additions of symbolism. It strays away from the fantasy BL genre and into an eye-opening LGBTQ+ coming-of-age that everyone needs to watch. Acting goes above and beyond acting; these characters feel like real people going through real struggles. The chemistry is strong, you can feel the intimacy bleed off the screen with Billkin and PP Krit. Music is sentimental and really adds onto the scenes. OSTs are beautiful. Sceneries are gorgeous. Cinematography is breathtakingly beautiful, with a nice vintage-y atmosphere.I've said it once I'll say it again: this series is a MUST WATCH. Strong 10/10.

A freshing and not everyone's taste
Do You Like Brahms is not everyone cup of tea for sure , this drama is very warm and slow paced which slowly move to you and in some point, you may get bored because of some unnecessary love traingle caught up in middle, But as fan of melo dramas i personally into that zone and it was a great experience for me overall. This is a musical melo drama which mainly focused not just music but also the relationships. Definitely OSTs plays a big part in there to create a beautiful mood throughout the drama which was superbSo many people may feel very draggy in the middle especially because of the unrequited and too cliché love triangles which always there and we see that in so many times before and its really annoying sometimes. When the couples started to getting stronger then it doesn't matter but again 2nd herion was too annoying throughout the show
The storyline is a kind of healing nature i meant there always problems and then consolidation, struggles, etc which we seen quite a few times in k dramas so there is nothing new about it all, but it was beautifully narrated. Another important factor that the Romance between the lead couples were really beautiful there were a few good moments which was good , thier chemistry was superb. Not particularly pointing out any character because i liked most of every characters and they were brilliant.
This drama is very slow pace drama and you have to be patient, a heart warming musical journey i personally liked a lot.. Happy Watching ..

So funny!!!
I really liked this movie. It wasn't super complicated or thought provoking but what it lacked in substance it made up for with style. Park Seo Joon is a favorite of mine. The more I watch of him the more versatile his acting seems. Kang Ha Neul is new to me so I'll be looking for more of his works. The friendship between the main characters is what makes this movie awesome. The chemistry between them is on par with Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook in Goblin. The fist bump had me rolling. They hit on some very deep dark problems but didn't really explore them. But that wasn't really the point of the movie. I don't really remember any of the music so it wasn't really great or really bad. Truthfully, the osts in general rarely stick in my memory. It's a great movie for a good laugh and good fighting. I'll probably re watch it later when I need a laugh. Was this review helpful to you?

The beginning of the series is slow, as they really go in depth with the main lead's character and career developments. But I dropped the series at first because I found her character to be unrealistic, as she's ever so hopeful in a world of corrupt politicians--funny, because this becomes the point of the series. How do the four main leads change as they try to bring justice in society/what kind of leaders do they develop into? Can Chen Yi Jun remain as hopeful and persistent throughout? After picking up the series, I began to root for Chen Yi Jun's "unrealistic" idealism myself.
The last ~three episodes were rushed and it felt like some scenes were missing, but didn't leave many unanswered questions, in a good way.
I would say the best part of the series was the amazing character development, as you really begin to feel for the different characters by the later half of the series, whether it's fortunate/unfortunate how they've developed.
Overall, the series was very inspiring to watch if you're interested in social justice/politics. Unlike other political dramas, this isn't just about corrupt political dealings and unlike other coming of age dramas, this isn't just about romance/family/career.

So when I first watched it, I was 14, pretty easy to shock and I had no knowledge of Thai dramas. The concept of slap-and-kiss was totally unknown to me. I both loved and hated it. I loved it because the slap and kiss was new and spicy to me, because the male lead was a great actor, because I loved to him scheming in the second part of the Lakorn and also being extremely in love with the female lead.
However, there were things that I hated : I was very shocked when he raped the female lead and although this is very common in Thai lakorns, rape is totally unacceptable where I come from so I had a big problem with it. Moreover, the female lead was too weak, took an incredible amount of slaps and I know a lot will disagree with me, but I think Aff is off to me. Nevertheless, this Lakorn hold a special place in my heart, probably because it was my first slap and kiss and my first thai dram.
And then, recently, out of curiosity, I watched the previous versions of this story (this is based on a Thai classic novel that is still extremely popular).
And now, this version totally lost its value to me.
In the original novel, there’s no rape between the leads, something that relieved me but also made me disappointed with the 2008 version because then, I don’t see why they added this unnecessary plot (and rape is unforgivable so they should stop presenting it as if it is). More importantly, in the original novel, Harit and Soraya come to really form a true bound and to fall in love much before he realizes her true identity so their love makes much more sense (he even releases her before knowing who she is because he wants her to go back to the one he thinks she loves : and she’s very sad to leave him but keeps writing to him so that they wouldn’t be completely parted)
However, here, this is just hate and torture and BIM ! he realizes she’s not Sansanee after raping and suddenly decides he’s in love with her even though we didn’t see much development in their relationship, and what’s more, this is even more senseless coming from Soraya after everything he put her through (and again, no development : I don’t see when or how she fell in love with him but BIM ! she says she loves him).
And finally, Soraya and Harit are smarter and more interesting in the novel : Soraya intentionally lets him think she’s Sansanee to protect her (something I can understand), being smarter and logical than this new Soraya who just keeps screaming she’s not Sansanee but burns a picture of the real one that might save her from Harit.
So, to put it simple (because I actually might go on for hours) : now that I have more experience in Thai dramas, I’d say that the 2008 version revamped the story in a way they shouldn’t have because the original material was much more interesting and consistent and now that I’m grown up, I don’t see why this had so much success. It’s nice to watch but it’s not epic

this drama was based off a true story, which makes it sadder when you realize it, and considering they only made 11 episodes, they fit quite a lot and still made it an excellent drama.
the cast was p e r f e c t i o n ! Erika played Aya amazingly while Nishikido Ryo played his supporting role well. (his crying scenes made me BAWL) the family was also great and same with the others that had small roles. the music was also just perfect. the songs put you into a certain mood, it's hard for me to even explain but it makes the drama that more emotional.
i would recommend anyone to watch this. it's very sad but also extremely inspiring. and if you can, read the real diary from Aya (;

Story is based off a real baseball team during the early 1900s from Vancouver mainly made up of Nisei players who struggle to balance working (twice as hard as the Whites while getting paid much less), baseball and most of all they struggle to win. But Reggie (Reji), the leader figures out a way to be able to beat the "big and strong" Vancouver teams. They get praised for their "brain play" and start to win while fighting the discrimination they receive daily from the White community. I feel the main point this story was trying to point out was that this game that everyone (ok not really) loves can change the minds and hearts and help build a bridge to connect the two communities.
Cast, I was able to recognize some of the actors/actresses used in this movie. Wasn't even the slightest bit disappointed with any of the cast members. I loved Satoshi and Kame's roles. They played their characters well. One being shy and the other being tough around the edges but at the same time gave some needed comic relief at times (along with other actors).
Also never watched Mitsuki Takahata in anything before but her acting was perfect. Her scenes had everyone's attention. Everyone casted was terrific!
Can't remember music too well, besides the upbeat instrumentals during the baseball scenes.
If i could buy this movie now, I would just so I could watch it again. It was a heartfelt movie.
I can't praise this movie enough. If you have a chance to see this while is plays at film festivals, you MUST watch this. It may seem slow in the beginning but it moves along nicely. This is just one of those movies that really makes you rethink things after finishing. Terrific movie & I hope it wins all the awards it deserves.

Another good K-BL drama!!
Actually I didn't know about this drama and I accidentally saw it and decided to watch it on the spot...and I definitely didn't regret it!!S Korra lately is giving us so many good BL's I'm grateful and excited for the upcoming ones.
This drama is so cute and fluffy, with healthy relationships between friends, family and couples!! There's only one toxic character and he got what he deserved. I really liked how much the main couple trusted each other, and especially how Hantae didn't doubt Baram even for a second!!
The acting is very good and the chemistry of the main couple is great!!
The music is also very nice and as a plus there are some moments with great cinematography!!
Overall I really enjoyed the drama !!
I binge-watched it and when it ended I wanted more, so I totally recomend it!!!I'm also glad that they released all the episodes at once!!

Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow

This is not a continuation
In my opinion this drama had more bad things than good things....It's hard to be able to connect S1 to S2 because they seem like separate worlds and it doesn't look like a continuation of the S1.
Naksu's personality was COMPLETELY different from what she had in S1...
The sisters could have done a better job and given Naksu in S2 personality traits of Mudeok.
I couldn't like the storyline of S2.... Couldn't connect with the romance, Jang Uk just seemed fickle to me.
S2 was completely disappointing....

A sweet upper when you’re feeling down
My Fairy Doctor is the perfect short format drama if you’re feeling sad/depressed after your favorite standard drama *Love Between Fairy And Devil* just ended.|Plot as sweet as your lozenge but has some kick in the end|
Plot has some cliche time traveling hijinks like the forced co-habitation but the story still delivers a decent amount of unique conflicts/surprises. Even though it’s a short format drama, the characters are well fleshed out even with the little dialogues that they have. The “real life” conflict are believable in real world perspective and the fantasy conflict provides us with just the right amount of angst to balance out all the sweet scenes.
|Cute chemistry but not that much skinship|
I’ve always liked the FL even when I saw her in My Neighbor Can’t sleep because she has that sunny/vibrant aura that fits most Cdrama heroine. She’s not the prettiest but she definitely has good chemistry with her MLs. I’ve seen the ML in Maiden Holmes but he didn’t shine as much because Zhang Linghe is just too good looking to notice anyone else. But here in My Fairy Doctor, he got to showcase his manly charms. He’s not your typical idol/boy toy ML but has a more serious, manly look like a young Feng Shao Feng. They didn’t have dramatic scenes but the OTP did deliver the right amount of angst, and romance that the scenes needed. I guess they are more comfortable with acting together because they only have a 1 year age gap
Finally, I would recommend watching My Fairy Doctor if you want something light but still has good special effects and set. Even though it’s a short format drama, yo7 can see that the production still invested in the effects and chose the right setting.
