A little bit of everything and a lot of fun to watch!

This drama is so much fun!

This drama is about 80% fun cute bickering couple, and 20% drama time confusion, mystery etc

This drama offers lots of frustration, interesting twists (some more predictable then others) and extremely well written and interesting characters withe some plot holes, like why people from the past could just exit the front door without noticing anything... But over all most of it actually does cover up potential problems with time slips and the all important butterfly effect.

The male lead is the usual self centered guy that is actually very warm once you get to know him. The female lead is stubborn as amule, at times smart at times an idiot and has quite a few trust issues while being fickle and to trusting too... But I guess in a world full of doubvious people it can be hard to know who to trust... Both are very playful, have great chemistry and are really fun to watch!

Greg Hsus character may not have a lot of screen time but he is just soooooo welll written and ads a lot of spice and fun to the plot, not only with his smile, the stylist of this show did a great job with him too,

The fls colleague is another guy with a small role but done really well and it is nice to see a non typically handsome slightly over weight character be portrayed as human and not just someone who likes to eat so, extra points for that.

This drama is also highly bingable, though I may not constantly have been on my toes, I was never board and felt all kinds of emotions, Mostly ooooh they are soooo cute. This drama also shows that men and women can just be friend, they also throw in some pretty important issues that may have a small slot but are very well written...

Definitely a fun drama, that I am willing to recommend to more or less anyone, because it is just one of those dramas that has it all

Bonus: The product placement in this is off the top, funny and obvious! Again well written!

Basically, Every Day A Good Day is about finding the fire which ignites the spark within consequently giving life meaning. Noriko, the main female character, always fondly mentions La Strada, one of Federico Fellini's most celebrated films and it's not difficult to figure out why. Just as the character/s in the aforesaid award-winning Italian film, she likewise sees herself as a drifter searching for a real purpose in life.

Attending a Japanese tea ceremony on a singular occasion as a guest is perhaps one of the most wonderful things I've ever experienced. I hope to experience it once more, and I hope you'll get to experience it as well. In the initial scenes, we witness Mrs. Takeda, the tea sensei, admonishing Noriko (and Michiko) for analysing every step in the Way of Tea. This is because analysis runs contrary to the precepts of Zen Buddhism which holds primacy over the path of action in conjunction with meditation in performing a task or learning a skill because only in this way can harmony with nature and innate tranquilitea be achieved.

''In the practice of tea, a sanctuary is created where one can take solace in the tranquility of spirit.''
I highly recommend a book called Chado (The Japanese Way of Tea) most esp. if you're an enthusiast of tea and/or if you're on the path towards serenity.

A simple story with confusing narrative.

Is it about love? Are the 2 friends in love? No.
I think this is about feelings portrait in a superficial way. Everybody is very understanding, ex- boyfriend and female friend. They talk about feelings regardless of sexual orientation and that is good.
Heeju fell in love for Yoo Hyun?… Does Yoo Hyun has only strong friendship feelings? Why did she starting dating her friend if she didn’t like girls? She just destroyed their relationship or was she the victim?
She cried after the break up… the end… 5 years apart or maybe forever… Did she lost her friend? Did she realised after the break up that love comes with consequences as well as not been in love? Did she miss the lover or just the friend? Does she recalls the 2 things Heeju said to her?

Great 'Romeo & Juliet' Remake and a Wonderful Emotional Rollercoaster Ride

I loved the story of this BL. It was fun, annoying, sad, upsetting, uplifting… a wonderful emotional rollercoaster ride.

The actors did a great job of executing their parts. Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee (https://mydramalist.com/people/11765-chittsawangdee-pawat) was really the standout performer in this series. I love watching him act. I have watched him before in other series and you can see his skills improving.

I have the habit of always comparing the affection shown between the main couple in all the BLs that I watch to the performance of the actors in Tharntype (https://mydramalist.com/32555-tharntype-the-series). They are my shining example of the affection and romance I would love to see demonstrated in any and all BL series that I watch and Bad Buddy came really close.

As for re-watch value, I started rewatching scenes even before I finished watching the complete series. A scene that I have watched over and over again happened on the stage during rehearsal that involved a tshirt. I will not put a spoiler here but I really recommend watching it.

I have definitely added this to the list of my top 10 favorite BL series.

Good acting by all!

Should you? Would you? Could you?

You should watch this one (YES! )
You would recommend this to others. (YES!)
You could watch this again. (Not Really)
Ending: Happy

If you can get through the first 2 episodes then you will be hooked on this drama. The performances individually of each character are brilliant and that's the strength of this drama.
I absolutely couldn't see any chemistry between the lead pair but their interactions are fun to watch. If you can keep the romance aside and watch this as a mystery/thriller drama, then you will love it. In fact, the chemistry between the second lead pair is much more than the main lead but as I mentioned, don't watch this as a romantic one.
The story starts out as typical episodic case gone wrong types but then it all intertwines into one big mystery which is connected to a bigger plot. You do get hooked to it slowly as the mystery unravels.
The supporting cast is excellent. Chen wen shan, Suun Lin, Ada Pan (mother and excellent that too) and the character of Mo Di Ping enacted by Vince Kao has to be mentioned. But of course the most impressive of all is the role of the male lead superbly enacted by George Hu.
It's a fast-paced one so there is no chance for it to drag.
Watch it and enjoy it!

this drama, at first had me watching mainly because i was curious to see aiba's acting, and then the story kind of managed to pull me. Since it's about a bartender who aims to become amazing and a woman who is obviously attracted to him and of course the rival guy who is the classic silent type of character. This drama clearly managed to portray the "anime-ish" feel that it was supposed to have. Generally every episode was about a different glass that the bartender made for the customers of the bar he was working at. The heart warmth he was offering to them by even offering their advice to them was rather refreshing and inspirational in a way.

Many say that aiba did not do great in this role but I believe that he portrayed the bartended very well. Sure he was not perfect, there were still things that needed to be worked on but they did not affect the feelings that you were supposed to feel. Plus, he had a different style of acting for this role than for the previous one. Kanjiya was simply herself like always. Same acting style for every character she plays. She is good but that's about it. Nobuaki , had a role that was pretty much not that difficult. If anything though he was pretty good at making the cocktails and drinks. I think that he also did very good, just not outstanding and great.

The music of this drama was rather addicting. after all it is arashi, i definitely loved listening to it and the soundtracks were rather fitting.

I would not rewatch this esepcially since most of the magic of the drama is there only in the first time , but definitely watching the funny moments or watching again to learn more about drinks, would not hurt.

What was particularly interesting in this drama was the way the cameras & light were handled. It was very gracious and elegant with a warmth to it.

Weird but interesting story - brings together several genres such as the closed room whodunnit of crime fiction, hard edged rebarbative sci-fi/horror and - through its school student setting - dystopian works of children's atavistic reversion to savagery when plucked from normal "civilised" life, such as Golding's Lord of the Flies, Oe's Nip the Buds, Shoot the Kids and in cinema Battle Royale. I feel the plot becomes too clever for its own good, the contortions become hard to follow and there's a fair amount of sleight of hand by the time it gets to the end. Still, it makes you think - whether as a dramatic comment on human society or a dramatic projection of human psychological motivations. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it!! Some nice eye candy here anyway, in particular with the sultry good looks of Ota Motahiro (whose photo on the biog page completely fails imho to do him justice compared to the movie!) (Was there any music? I don't see how we can give a required score).

I was compelled to write a review for this drama since the ratings misled me way too much. This drama had the recipe for a perfect fantasy romance but when served, most the parts were either cold or half-cooked but looks very good. There were good moments in the drama, but those were so sparse that it didn't make sense to watch an entire one hour episode for it. I feel sad that such a brilliant plot premise got executed like this. I'm always down to watch a good fantasy drama, especially one with romance, and had high hopes for this one. Let's get into the details now -

The plot line captivated me from the get go. I knew there would be past connections, betrayals, healing and just a truck load of heartfelt emotions. I got half and half of everything. The stories of all the primary ghosts were sidetracked and stretched far more than they could handle. They lacked the substance and depth to be spanned across 10+ episodes. In contrast, some of the shorter stories of the ghosts were more interesting.

There are instances where the story tugs at your heart but it fades away without leaving a trace. I felt no genuine connection between the main characters. Nothing. From the first episode to the last, I never smiled or frowned or cried with them. The secondary story of Man-Wol's past stirred me deeply though. I teared up every time their memories were shown. Which made the way their story was concluded even worse. A story spanning 1000 years was thrown aside, bid good bye without shedding a single tear? I felt that, as a viewer, I was cheated at that moment, having invested so many hours warming up to the ghosts of the past only to have them vanish as if they were nothing.

Maybe it was the way the character of Chan Sung was written but it was a chore to watch him. Everything about him is perfect on paper, but his personality felt so flat and two-dimensional. Man-Wol on the other hand is one of my favorite characters so far. Her feisty nature and personality commanded every scene she was in. I give her 100% credit for coaxing me to finish the show. I only wanted to watch her character evolve. These two as a pair felt forced and unnatural. The few scenes that Man-Wol had with Yeon-U and Cheong-Myeong had more feels and emotions than all the scenes of Man-Wol and Chan-Sung combined.

The acting was really good, a great cast indeed. If I keep aside the way they were written, the actors all portrayed their characters flawlessly. IU is a delight to watch in every frame. Her dynamic performance as the temperamental Man-Wol is one of her bests yet. The music of the show is hands down one of the most memorable ones I've come across, the OSTs are definitely going to be an addition to my playlists.

To be fair, this show is by far one of the most beautifully shot dramas I've watched. The production was top-notch. The cinematic elements were really really good. But they still couldn't make up for the depth that the story lacked. I'm afraid this might just remain as one of those dramas that could've been. Maybe I've been spoiled for good by the likes of Moon Lovers (which still makes me weep when I think about it). If the elements of fateful encounters, reincarnation, supernatural intervening interest you, there are better shows out there than this one. If there ever is a sequel like the end credit hinted, I hope they build a solid foundation of story first rather than a flimsy card castle painted in gold.

This is one series that I'm very familiar with as I have watched it since I was little. The series comprise of 9 separate but linking stories with each being around (~) 50 to 60 episodes each plus or minus. This may be off putting to a lot of people and it's understandable. In that case, I would just recommend watching the first season and see if you want to continue. :)

The plot revolves around a psychological battle between two very strategic officials. One being Liu Bowen (protagonist) portrayed as an intelligent military strategist and the other Hu Weiyong (antagonist) portrayed as a cunning chancellor who work all his efforts into over throwing the kingdom. The interesting aspect about the plot is that only these two know the true identity of one another and they vow to take the other down.

This series can be described as a historical wuxia with many twists and turns. For each story, there is a mystery with a bigger picture behind it and is unraveled at a slow but masterful pace. Keep in mind that this was produced in 2006 and also if anyone has ever watched a wuxia series in the early to mid 2000 and even before that, you will know that the editing of the 'magic' and supernatural powers aren't very realistic but I think that is one of many enjoyable aspects of wuxia no matter how real or fake it is.

The series is very fun and mind boggling to watch because each story introduces a lot of new characters and entertainment value. The acting is very good for what the series is worth, you can also see character growth as the series progress and there is a lot of meaningful morals to be learnt. I will say again that I did watch this series over a long period of time since I was little (over years) and it has taught me value(s) such as justice and seeing the right or wrong.

Overall, I recommend this series, give one story a try and see if you want to continue because I know how time consuming it is to even watch a 20 or so episode series. I hope you enjoy and I hope this has helped you a bit. .^

There aren't many dramas that I stay up watching. You get drawn into this young group who courageously leave their comfortable jobs to start an advertising agency. The four are individually talented, and have great chemistry together. You feel their joy, laughter, creative dreams, disappointments, love, and sadness as the venture along. The journey centers around lowly Toko (Fukatsu), the office manager. And you quickly come to realize she is the true spirit of the group. The underlying romance builds slowly until you have to know the resolution. Will the firm succeed? Will they stay together? The acting, music, and story line are all superb. Sometimes the older dramas are the best.

Plot twist!

Synopsis: Soo-Yeon is a 16-year old girl who gets relentlessly bullied. She wakes up in a hospital after a particularly cruel incident and while thinking of ending it all, a mysterious counseling teacher appears on her bedside. The women talks the young girl out of her suicidal plans and starts taking care of her. After a short while, they meet Soo-Yeon's long-lost twin, who -unlike her twin - is a rebellious and reckless young woman. The three of them make a simple but effective plan to take revenge on the bullies.

Opinion: The setting was quite dark and hopeless, which suited the storyline. The bullying and overall attitude of the adults managed to make my blood boil, but I honestly couldn't bring myself to care for these characters on a deep level. The acting was okay (a lot of "expressionless-cool/sad-girl" moments) and the music suited the atmosphere. It could've been a good story if there was a little spice, or I don't know, maybe if the movie wasn't that short?
One of the plot twists I saw coming, but the other one was unexpected. The movie touched on a mental illness but didn't fully grasp it. That's fine though, I personally stopped expecting that from my dramas.

Recommended if: you like dark settings, short stories, are into plot twists and like a revenge story with... well, debatable outcomes. If you wanna cry your eyes out, this isn't it, but if you're okay with feeling mildly uncomfy and hopeless the whole time, then give it a go I'd say.

Touching and happy

You'll go up and down but always wish the next episode was posted!

The actors are wonderful and directing as well. You really fall into the story.

Great job on the year props for setting. It was fun seeing older tech rememberenves.

Many tears were shed but mostly good ones. I felt like i was part of the story.

I look forward to director's future work and enjoyed him very much in his past roles. Make sure to check them out.

I hope they plan a S2 to show the characters growth.

Nice and casual

It’s a simple story really. Not too many things going on at once. I enjoyed it a lot. Although Sinian was a character who was the icy cold male lead, I found him quite funny and interesting. Especially him and Meng Ran’s little arguments. They had me laughing and smirking everytime. Yun Shu was quite understanding and kind, I liked her simplicity. The two main leads suited each other a lot and I couldn’t agree more with the fact that two opposites attract. People who are very similar are actually like two parallel lines sometimes so the calm and gentle Sinian needed the outgoing and clumsy Yun Shu in his life. They were a perfect match.
One thing I would mention is that the ending was too hasty. I mean what happened to Meng Ran? The matter between Lin Nuo and Zhi Yi should have been explained more. I think they could have made the ending a bit better but overall it’s a drama worth watching.

Poor writing, not so good acting but entertaining for the chemistry and seaside background

It is clearly a MAME project: the scenario is pretty weak in handling the trauma arcs of the characters, there are some hot moments and cheesy lines, the actors chemistry is rather convincing and despite all the flaws, it is entertaining overall. The best part of the drama is the introduction on the island, when the characters are having sexy time and banter nearby the sea. Once the plot move to the city, the family drama is really not addressed properly, making the story less compelling.

The characterization of the main protagonists is rather poor. It is working when their dynamics is light and on the fluffy side with a dog vs. cat energy that I always enjoy. But unfortunately, the way the main characters handle their internal turmoil and blockage when the story is getting more heavy does not make a lot of sense. I particularly found the evolution of Tongrak badly paced. Out of the two main leads, Mahasamut was clearly the best character. I am was also not onboard with the secondary couple: I did not feel the chemistry between the actresses but I must admit that the script does not help them...Given the ending, it felt like a loss of time for the viewer to have so many screentime for their storyline.

Similarly to my predilection in terms of characters, I preferred Fort's acting to Peat's performance. I enjoyed more Fort's golden retriever energy than the closed off / childish character side of Peat's character. Though they have good chemistry, both need to work and improve their game when they play more angsty scenes. The way Peat portrayed trauma was quite unconvincing and Fort felt a bit too light for the heavy moments.

In terms of production, there were some nice seaside background. Those were nice and relaxing to watch, with the soothing noises of the waves from the sea in multiples scenes. The production was more standard in the city environment, suitable enough for the storytelling but nothing really special. Soundtrack could have been better as well.

I would not recommend this to people unless you are a fan of MAME work. It has for sure entertaining value and the two males leads have a good chemistry. However, the script is really poor in the way it pictures trauma and how the characters evolve through the relationship. There are a lot of artificial barriers to their love and therefore the series felt lacking because of the writing. It is even worse regarding the secondary couple arc.

I was a bit annoying to watch as the subs were not translated correctly so I had to try and guess what they were saying
for a lot of the movie but I persevered as I was drawn by both the leading actors and what seemed like a good storyline.
Apart from the distracting subs, it moved along nicely and was entertaining. I wouldn't call it a bad movie but I think I could have appreciated a lot more if the subs had have been right. At the end of the day, it had great potential with good actors but it never quite 'got there' for me. I was a bit disappointed after it eneded as I had expected more than what was presentated
